The United States was born as a Republic. The individual was the center of society and rule of law was King. Neutrality and non-entanglements were the North Stars of foreign policy. Preemptive wars were feared as precursors to executive tyranny. The Republic would not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. Transparency was the rule and secrecy the rare exception. And the thrill of self-government was the utmost good. Since the emergence of Manifest Destiny and the Mexican-American War, the United States has progressively degenerated into an arrogant, swaggering Empire featuring hundreds of military bases abroad with defense commitments to foreigners. The degeneration was accelerated by the disintegration of the Soviet Union and 9/11. Bush, Cheney, and Obama are a philosophical triumvirate in national security matters. The Empire is earmarked by perpetual and global warfare unilaterally initiated by the President for the sake of domination; unchecked executive power; the crucifixion of the rule of law on a national security cross; the diminishment of Congress to a constitutional ink blot; secret government; unsustainable trillion dollar budget deficits; and, a craving by the public for risk-free lives more than freedom itself. The Republic can be regained if a President emerges who renounces executive usurpations and secrecy, terminates all U.S. military bases abroad and revokes all defense treaties or executive agreements, immediately ends the Afghan, Iraq, international terrorism wars, and makes the rule of law the nation’s civic religion.

What’s next after ‘super committee’ failure? Story by CNN Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, said Democrats “were prepared to strike a grand bargain that would make painful cuts while asking millionaires to pay their fair share, and we put our willingness on paper,” but Republicans “never came close to meeting us halfway.” His GOP counterpart, Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, argued that an agreement “proved impossible not because Republicans were unwilling to compromise, but because Democrats would not accept any proposal that did not expand the size and scope of government or punish job creators.” …More

Revolution Redux: A first-hand account of police brutality Story by Ahram Online I was talking on my mobile phone with my editor, describing the scene, when a plainclothes individual – holding a t-shaped metal stick – grabbed my arm and began cursing at me. He thought that I was one of the protesters, since my shirt was wrapped around my head to lessen the effects of the tear gas. I hastened to tell him that I was a journalist, to which he responded by pushing me towards the soldiers. I thought I was being arrested – or at least turned over to a higher authority who would decide what to do with me. But to my surprise, a uniformed soldier slapped me hard on the back of my head and began shouting insults at me. He was soon joined by several colleagues who began to apply their thick black batons to my back. …More

Egypt protesters spurn army’s referendum offer Story by Reuters A roar of defiance rippled through Cairo’s Tahrir Square on Tuesday night as thousands of protesters demanding an end to army rule spurned an offer from Egypt’s military leader to let the people decide in a referendum. Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi said the military was ready to hand over to civilians if Egyptians wanted it, in concessions designed to end four days of clashes in the capital and beyond that have left at least 36 people dead. Impatience mounted among protesters massed in the square during Tantawi’s nervous, faltering speech, witnesses said, and a chorus of “leave, leave!” erupted when it ended. …More

Obama dossier winds up — literally — in Aussie gutter Story by USA Today Most of the manual was devoted to a minute-by-minute schedule of Obama’s movements during his 27-hour visit to Canberra and Darwin last week, even detailing which car door he would use and the seating arrangements within his convoys. It also ran through the exact breakdown of his Secret Service detail and motorcade arrangements, including Obama’s ambulance, counterassault teams, communications and intelligence, according to the journalist, Dylan Welch. The booklet cover stated that the information was “not to be communicated either directly or indirectly to any person not authorised to receive it,” Welch said, and it included contact details for a range of figures. It also named a long-serving member responsible for Obama’s protection. …More

Syria’s suspension from the Arab League leaves Assad isolated Story by Guardian Syria’s crisis has entered uncharted waters with the country’s suspension from the Arab League. But it is far from clear whether the dramatic shift in the regional mood will change wider international attitudes to intervention. …So it was striking that Russia, which with China has kept the UN security council paralysed, quickly responded that Arab states were wrong to suspend Syria. “Someone really does not want the Syrians to agree among themselves,” complained Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s foreign minister, who accused the west of encouraging the Syrian opposition to seek regime change. Iran, apparently alarmed at the prospect of losing its only Arab ally, agreed. Everyone acknowledges that the fear is a repeat of a Libyan scenario, where March’s Arab League decision to abandon Gaddafi was crucial in paving the way for a UN resolution and eventual Nato action. …More

Is Ron Paul the only one that wants peace? Story by RT …Aside from Paul and fellow hopeful Jon Huntsman, other candidates came in support of waterboarding. According to Paul, however, it is wrong on many levels. “It’s illegal under international law and under our law. It’s also immoral. And it’s also very impractical. There’s no evidence that you really get reliable evidence. Why would you accept the position of torturing 100 people because you know one person might have information? And that’s what you do when you accept the principle of torture. I think it’s uncivilized and has no practical advantages and is really un-American to accept on principle that we will torture people that we capture,” said the congressman. …More

Now the Greek and Italian prime ministers have been replaced by an EU coup d’etat with suitable EU candidates approved by Germany and the banks to make sure there is no question that the over taxed citizens of these nations as well as the other PIGGS will surely be taken to the EU slaughter house and gutted without delay. The Greek parliament appointed Lucas Papademos (former European Central Bank VP) and the Italians appointed (former European Commissioner) Mario Monti to replace Silvio Berlusconi. Mario is an advisor to Goldman Sachs which helped create the worldwide sovereign debt crisis and he is a leading member of the Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission. Therefore we know where the loyalties of this EU Quisling puppet are and they certainly aren’t with the people of Italy.
EU style democracy requires that national leaders should always be loyal first to the European Union and the banks invested in government debt rather than to the citizens of the former sovereign nations. They must agree to continue to borrow more so the new sovereign debt loans can be used to pay interest to the banking oligarchs. Only a miniscule amount of the new borrowing is for the nation or the future generations that will be impoverished by the debt load. Finally, a necessary amount of graft is built in for the leading political interests and the rest is earmarked for payment back to the foreign banks so they will receive their interest payments.

Consider:
Ron Paul is getting in the way of the globalists’ agenda, which requires the fall of the United States, which their hand-picked Presidents have been fulfilling.
They would probably make it look like a heart attack or similar; otherwise, an obvious assassination would cause an uproar and even more of an awakening.
Wow! They’re getting a bad rap for their obvious media blackout of Ron Paul. Ron is reaching too many people with the truth. People are starting to see.
Ron is actually doing very well in Iowa and New Hampshire: Ron Paul is surging, an Iowa and New Hampshire front-runner and powerful third-party possibility
There are now multiple polls that show Ron Paul has gained support and has a legitimate chance to come in first or second in Iowa and New Hampshire.
And Dr. Stan, having studied the globalists for 50 years, doesn’t say things lightly. He is not a shock-jock, but rather a careful historian. Dr. Stan is serious about this.
Please pray, and please support Ron Paul.

Jeff Hook ” I just watched the Ron Paul interview (11/20) and I must say, your show couldn’t have been more rude or unprofessional. Bob Schieffer is obviously biased. His twisting of Ron’s policies and statements are the norm from the left, not a big deal. But when Ron went to explain what he said or what his policy is, Bob didn’t accept his explanation and would end the question by putting words in Ron’s mouth before immediately moving on. Instead of giving Ron a final statement, Bob just thanked him and cut him off to move on to something else. “
From CBS’s 89 seconds of disrespect to this Deface the nation interview, Ron should not go on CBS anymore. The station is clearly biased and is shameful.

Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura
DISCLAIMER: I usually try to avoid illustrations with Zs on them, but this one is straight and to the point — and hard to refute.
Also, I support the state of Israel, their right to exist, but I don’t believe we should be accessories to and enablers of their crimes against humanity and even themselves.
I usually promote the idea that most of our overt and covert actions seem to be largely to overthrow governments that oppose the one-world government. I do think this is the goal of the architect who drives the one-world government, and I think we are seeing it played out.
On the other hand, there is the idea is that a Zionist element greatly influences our government and media. Jeff Rense emphasizes this view. For example, consider this agenda behind Fox News, whose motto is “Fair and Balanced”:
Ron Paul is being silenced by the media because he won’t support the immoral, reverse-Christian, unconstitutional, preemptive wars that are always found later to be initiated for reasons other than claimed.
And Ron is being ignored by most evangelicals for the same reason. They keep supporting bloody war after bloody war without acknowledgment of wrong and admission of guilt. Some will even boo Ron Paul in the debates when Ron talks about treating Israel’s neighbors with respect, which for Christians is Jesus’ second greatest commandment — which shows they aren’t Christians.
Here is a definition of Zionism in how it’s practically being played out.
Zionism =
In its current form Zionism seeks to dominate all of Palestine and the Middle East by means of violence and the threat of violence (using weapons manufactured and purchased with billions of dollars of “aid” supplied by the United States at taxpayer expense) and to maximize its influence in world affairs and in world history, principally by means of control of the government of the USA (primarily by blackmailing its many corrupt politicians), at the expense of the social wellbeing not only of the Palestinians but of the peoples of all lands. (source)
Israel is not the beacon on the hill. They are leaders of immorality. Did you know:
Many Americans are enabling Israel’s immoral practices instead of really helping them.
The USA and Israel are a violent and corrupt dysfunctional family. The pastors in America won’t stand up for decency and humanity. They won’t support Ron Paul, who would be the only truly functional American President among the candidates seen in the Republican debates.

Jeff Fenske: My Perspective on Mostly Real-Historian David Icke…
And Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are being used by Satan to deceive many evangelical ‘Christians’ into falling in step with the globalist, New World Order plans. Evangelical ‘Christians’ are particularly vulnerable to manipulation because they know we are supposed to support Israel. I agree, as does Dr. Stan and Joel Skousen, but David Icke does not. But in what way should we support Israel? A blank check and total support for their numerous inhumane atrocities that they commit along with the CIA? No way. We’re just aiding and abetting bullies who often have evil and revenge in their hearts, and who refuse to get right with God and treat their neighbors with respect. They go WAY BEYOND what is legitimate self defense, which is sadly A-OK for most evangelicals, who also can’t wait for US or Israel to nuke Iran — which is why they refuse to support Ron Paul, the real Christian candidate who believes in war only when it’s just. This isn’t what Jesus has in mind in how we are to pray for and support Israel in positive ways that could bring about real change. This isn’t what Jesus is leading people to do, which gets into the definition of what is a Christian — which I discuss in depth at my other main site, ONEcanhappen. Christians and pastors are supposed to be led by the Holy Spirit. Then they could not be manipulated by the Satanically controlled media.

Mathematical Proof Of Dramatic Media Bias And Favoritism During The Republican Debates
It should be evident to anyone with half a brain that the recent Republican presidential debates have been incredibly slanted in favor of certain candidates. The candidates that the mainstream media favor are receiving far more talking time than the other candidates during the debates. It is hard to defend the legitimacy of our political system after watching what a farce the race for the Republican nomination has become. First, the major news networks dedicate thousands of hours of “programming” to telling us that candidates such as Mitt Romney and Rick Perry are “top tier” and that nobody else has a legitimate chance. Then, once the poll numbers are skewed by that relentless coverage, they use those polls to justify giving the “favored candidates” more questions during the debates. The funny thing is that even if support for a favored candidate drops off dramatically (such as with Rick Perry), that candidate will still be given extra time during the debates. What you are about to see is mathematical proof of dramatic media bias and favoritism during the Republican debates. After reading this information, it will be hard to keep believing that our political system is fair.
It seems like the bigger the media outlet, the worse the bias and the favoritism becomes. For example, the Republican debate on CBS the other night was a total sham. During the nationally televised portion of the debate, Rick Perry got more than five times as much talking time as Ron Paul did.
The funny thing is that according to Real Clear Politics, Rick Perry and Ron Paul are nearly tied in national polls. As I write this, Rick Perry is averaging 9.8 percent in national polls and Ron Paul is averaging 8.2 percent. You would think that both candidates should be treated at least somewhat equally.
But instead, favored candidates such as Mitt Romney and Rick Perry were given huge amounts of talking time during the CBS debate and candidates that the mainstream media has disdain for such as Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann were virtually ignored.
The following is how one blog broke down the talking time for the Republican debate on CBS on Saturday night….
Rick Perry 7:45
Mitt Romney 6:30
Newt Gingrich 6:00
Herman Cain 5:45
Rick Santorum 5:15
Jon Huntsman 3:30
Michele Bachmann 3:15
Ron Paul 1:30
Does that look fair to you?
Even the candidates on the very bottom of the national polls were given more time than Paul and Bachmann. Rick Santorum is averaging 1.5 percent in national polls and John Huntsman is averaging 1.0 percent in national polls. Yet both of them were given more time than Bachmann and both of them were given more than twice as much time as Ron Paul.

Will the Republican party support Ron Paul?
WASHINGTON, November 11, 2011―On Fox News Sunday Chris Wallace interviewed Republican Presidential candidate, Ron Paul. During the interview, Wallace asked Paul if he could support another Republican in the general election if he did not get the nomination. Dr. Paul then responded with an answer which most likely infuriated the Republican establishment.
“If they believe in expanding the wars, if they don’t believe at looking at the Federal Reserve, if they don’t believe in real cuts, if they don’t believe in deregulation and a better tax system it would defy everything I believe in. So I would be reluctant to jump on board and tell all the supporters, who have given me trust and money, that all we’ve done is for naught and let’s support anybody.”
After he expressed this sentiment, a Fox News panel the next day harshly criticized Paul for not being a team player. One panelist even suggested that if he was unwilling to support the presumptive nominee then he should be taken out of the debates. Aside from being illogical Republican rhetoric, this borders on hypocrisy. The only reason that Paul is being asked about supporting the Republican nominee, whoever it might be, is because the media already knows what his answer will be. They wish to use it as ammunition against him, and want the Republicans to accuse him of not being “a team player”. A better question to ask the rest of the Presidential hopefuls would be, “If Ron Paul gets the nomination, would you support him?”
Herman Cain has already answered that question….
Rick Perry is another candidate unlikely to support Paul….
The Republicans have become scared of the Ron Paul movement. They have begun to realize that his supporters will not back any other candidate if he does not secure the nomination. With support ranging anywhere from 10-13% and climbing in most national polls, the Republicans know they cannot win next November without some of these votes. So after years of hiding Ron Paul in a corner and trying to ignore him, the Republicans now want him to forget all of that and support their establishment puppet.
The Republican nominee (should it not be Paul) does not deserve support from Ron Paul or any of his supporters after years of being ignored, marginalized, and laughed at by the Republican establishment. Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil, and Ron Paul and his supporters should not be in the business of supporting evil.

Ron Paul National Campaign Chairman Blasts CBS News
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton released the following statement concerning the CBS / National Journal Republican debate:
“Ron Paul consistently polls among the top three in the key early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire. He is polling in double digits in most respected polls.
“Congressman Paul is ranked among the top three in fundraising results.
“Congressman Paul serves on the House Foreign Relations Committee.
“Congressman Paul is a veteran.
“And, Congressman Paul has contrasting views on foreign policy that many Americans find worthy of inquiry and discussion.
“CBS’s treatment of Congressman Paul is disgraceful, especially given that tonight’s debate centered on foreign policy and national security.
“Congressman Paul was only allocated 90 seconds of speaking in one televised hour. If we are to have an authentic national conversation on issues such as security and defense, we can and must do better to ensure that all voices are heard.
“CBS News, in their arrogance, may think they can choose the next president. Fortunately, the people of Iowa, New Hampshire, and across America get to vote and not the media elites.”
