Jeff Landfield calls Assembly’s AO to remove mayor ‘ridiculous’ — vote should be unanimous

Jeff Landfield’s exact words in his video saying AO-60 is ridiculous, should be unanimous, only for when the mayor did something real bad

This is the video in which Jeff Landfield says this ordinance is “ridiculous,” and should require unanimous consent, 100% of Assembly members, if the mayor did something real bad.

MY TRANSCRIPT (exact wording to the best of my ability)

0:00 “…started pulling testimony on this ridiculous Christopher Constant ordinance to give the Assembly the power to remove the mayor.”

5:00 “…this whole ordinance thing to me is ridiculous. It gives the Assembly the power to remove the mayor. It’s very political. I think Chris is running for congress; maybe get some headlines with it. In the legislature, you can impeach, but the Senate impeaches, the House has a trial. It’s a whole different type system going on here.”

6:40 “My view is this ordinance probably isn’t going anywhere. It’s kind of ridiculous. It’s probably a good campaign tactic for Constant to get some recognition or some headlines.”

[Updated 6/1/22]

The Anchorage Assembly hired attorney Bill Falsey, who was defeated by Dave Bronson in his bid for mayor, to draft an ordinance they can use to remove Mayor Bronson and assembly members they don’t like.

Falsey created this list of possible reasons in AO 2022-60:

1. Acceptance of cash gifts from one doing business with the 39 municipality
2. Violation of chapter 1.15
3. Perjury
4. Falsification of records
5. Filing false reports
6. Nepotism
7. Making personal use of municipal or school district property
8. Destruction of municipal or school district property
9. Official oppression
10. Actual or attempted official misconduct, as defined by state law
11. Ordering, or knowingly allowing a person appointed by the 4 mayor to order, a municipal employee to undertake an unlawful 5 act
12. Substantial breach of a statutory-, Code- or Charter-imposed 7 duty

In the Assembly’s 5/20/22 Municipality of Anchorage Meetings YouTube worksession video, Bill Falsey was responding to Kevin Cross’s question in which he basically asked: doesn’t the clause “but are not limited to” mean “without limits?”

@ 54:00 Falsey responded:

“…the baseline limit of it has to rise to the level of ‘breach of the public trust.’ And even in the absence of a list like this, there’s going to be common law, case law decisions that a hearing officer or a reviewing municipality attorney will have to decide: is this conduct that’s being alleged rising to that level? …

In the absence of an ordinance like this, the list is only whatever is perceived to be a breach of the public trust right now, as to the mayor or to elected service area members. Because all we have in the absence of an ordinance like this is the charter command; ‘that can be removed for breach of the public trust.’”

So if they want to remove the mayor or an assembly member, now they can use Falsey’s wishlist to find something to accuse her with, whereas before, they would have had to find a case in which a community fired their assembly member for doing something similar (taking a paper clip home).

According to the AO, a hearing officer then decides if it was a violation of the public trust or not — even if it didn’t — though the accused is allowed to present evidence during a public hearing.

Then the Assembly can remove the official by a 2/3rds vote.

The public didn’t decide it was a breach. Anchorage/Eagle River residents didn’t. So it wasn’t proven to be a breach of their public’s trust.

So imagine if they tried to get rid of Constant’s target #2, Jamie Allard, it’s up to them if she ‘breached the public trust,’ not the people she represents.

A small group of Anchorage people recently tried to recall Jamie. They only got 18% of the signatures needed to start the recall, but our Assembly could still use the language “breach of the public trust” to remove Jamie; though, she has not breached the public’s trust, as Eagle River residents proved.

So this AO doesn’t have anything to do with our public considering their public trust having been broken.

So ‘breach of the public trust’ isn’t based on what our public thinks. It’s whatever our Assembly and hearing officer determine.

The truth is it’s not really a breach of the public trust unless Anchorage/Eagle River residents have actually demonstrated they believe it is by recall.

This AO is deceptive legalize. ‘Breach of the public trust‘ does not mean breach of our public’s trust.’

Global Failure: Structural Reevaluation of WTC 7’s Collapse – UAF Final Report Summary

“On March 25, 2020, researchers at the University of Alaska Fairbanks issued the final report of a four-year computer modeling study on the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7.

The 47-story WTC 7 was the third skyscraper to be completely destroyed on September 11, 2001, collapsing rapidly and symmetrically into its footprint at 5:20 PM. Seven years later, investigators at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) concluded that WTC 7 was the first steel-framed high-rise ever to have collapsed solely as a result of normal office fires.

Contrary to the conclusions of NIST, the UAF research team finds that the collapse of WTC 7 on 9/11 was not caused by fires but instead was caused by the near-simultaneous failure of every column in the building.

This presentation provides an in-depth look at the UAF findings.

University of Alaska Fairbanks WTC 7 Final Report | Presented by Richard Gage AIA & Roland Angle PE

“We are proud to announce the release of the final report of the four-year computer modeling study of World Trade Center Building 7 by researchers the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

AE911Truth is a nonprofit organization representing more than 3,000 architects and engineers who have signed the organization’s petition calling for new investigation into the destruction of the three World Trade Center towers on 9/11.

Richard Gage, AIA , a 30-year architect, member of the American Institute of Architects, and founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth will introduces the presenter, civil engineer Roland Angle, PE. Roland serves as the director of AE911Truth’s Project Due Diligence outreach to the engineering profession.

Roland graduated from UC Berkeley and began his career by designing hardened missile silos to withstand nuclear bomb blasts. He went on to a broad career in the civil engineering and construction field spanning the last 50 years.

Roland provides the highlights of the study that was led by Professor Leroy Hulsey and his team of PhD researchers at UAF. Professor Hulsey, a top forensic structural engineer of 50 years, until recently served as the chair of the Department of Environmental and Civil Engineering at UAF.

The UAF team has conducted a finite element analysis study of the collapse this 47-story skyscraper, the third to collapse on 9/11, which so many know nothing about. This high-rise fell suddenly at 5:20 PM – seven hours after the Twin Towers destruction.

Most notably, it fell symmetrical at free-fall acceleration into its footprint in under 7 seconds, in the exact manner of a classic controlled demolition. Yet the National institute of Standards and Technology claimed, in their 1,000 page report issued seven years after the collapse, that the building fell due to normal office fires, which has never happened to any steel-frame, fire-protected building before or since 9/11.

A hearty thank you goes out to the thousands of concerned citizens who helped fund the university’s  historically important research. We encourage you to download the report at https://www.AE911Truth.org/wtc7 and take the time to understand the differences between the Hulsey report and the NIST report – and draw your own conclusions as to which better explains the collapse as we’ve now seen in the videos.

We invite you to also sign our petition at https://AE911Truth.org/petition, which calls upon Congress to open a a new investigation, and help us bring the report to the engineering community and to Congress. The more engineers who are raising their voices, the more Congress will listen and eventually be forced to open a new investigation. …

Nick Begich didn’t come from wealth, raised by grandparents — became successful through wisdom & courage

Some of the candidates for the US House of Alaska are millionaires. Another is paying off student loans.

Republican Nick Begich, has six figures in cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and litecoin, as well as a stake of at least $1 million in a software company he owns. founded and now has more than 100 employees and offices in three countries.

Chris Constant, one of the Democrats in the race, is still paying off student loans. …

Nonetheless, Constant presents his relative lack of personal wealth as a selling point.

“The benefit is, in practice, I understand what it’s like to make a living, which is what most Alaskans go through,” Constant said. He added: “I am a worker. I don’t come from wealth. …

Begich, one of the running Republicans and a multi-millionaire, dismissed the idea that his money might leave him out of touch with potential voters.

He said his family “struggled” when he was growing up, and at one point, Begich said, he had over $100,000 in student loans, since paid off.

“I can definitely relate to the struggle that a lot of Alaskans are having right now,” he said in a phone interview.

New in Juneau: Alaska senators bow heads for prayer for ‘magic and truth’ to Norse god Odin

By Suzanne Downing -May 17, 2022

The Alaska Senate usually starts out its floor sessions with a prayer or sometimes a thought for the day from a non-religious member. On Tuesday, the prayer was offered by one of the Senate pages, Ollie Zaldivar of Anchorage, who beseeched wisdom from a Norse god named Odin.

He offered the prayer that asked that he know magic and know truth. He referred to the god as “Allfather.”

Described as a wise, one-eyed old man, writes the description in Wikipedia, “Odin has by far the most varied characteristics of any of the gods and is not only the deity to call upon when war was being prepared but is also the god of poetry, of the dead, of runes, and of magic.” …

8:50 Covid affected Black and Brown communities more because dark skin protects body from the rays that produce vitamin D, and nobody is talking about it! Big Pharma, Big Government and Big Media claim to care about Black lives, then don’t say a word to the Blacks about the need to take vitamin D at all for Covid. Blacks have died at twice the rate of Whites with Covid. Almost all of the Whites who died were severely vitamin D deficient also.

Being Anti-Abortion is being Antisemitic — According to Jewish law, a fetus is not considered a living being until it comes out of a woman’s uterus. By not allowing Jewish women to have abortions, you are violating her civil rights to practice her faith

Scott Kendall says here: “the Jewish faith at times actually encourages abortion up until the moment when the child takes his or her first breath.” This is because modern day Judaism considers the Talmud as higher than the Old Testament, as did the Pharisees who persecuted Jesus. And when they site the Torah as their source, that includes the Talmud, which they revere as higher than the first five books of the Bible.
