US: Republican Party rides wave of backlash against Obama Administration. Campaign rhetoric is full of promises to trim government, reduce controls, regain prosperity, restore the Constitution, and “take back our country.” [Beware! This is the same old two-party ping-pong game that has been played for decades. Vote against the previous Party but don’t think too deeply about the replacement. THOUGHT CONTROL THROUGH EDUCATION
2010 Sep 20 from Catherine Collin
Dear Mr. Griffin…
First of all, let me tell you that your essays really left a strong impression in me. It “rang a bell” somewhere…
Growing up in Brazil during the military regime (courtesy of the U.S.A.) and going to school there, at first didn’t seem to be very difficult, but it really opens your eyes as to how deceiving education can be. As soon as the I was at the primary school, I could sense that our “Educacao social e fisica” books (social education) was a bit “biased”. From about 11 years old, I used to tell my dad that they were wrong but, at that age, I couldn`t point it out what.
That became more clear when I was in the PUC (pontificia Universidade Catolica) University doing my degree in Psychology; I was so very frustrated by every year in College that I used to cry everyday going there. I had expected so much and, again, I couldn`t point out what was wrong with it.
The same feeling comes now, studying to pass an exam, to do post-graduation in Criminology in a University in Athens, Greece. Reading various books on the matter, I realized that the line of thought of modern education is “truncated”. It is not continous. I remember studying Freud in the University and I realized we never read one single book that he wrote; we used to read parts of them. In criminology, it is the same system, the books describe different theories on the matter, never deepening in any line of thought. Maybe you would think that there is no problem with that but, if you compare it with the Platonic or the Pythagorean Universities, where lines of thought were studied so deeply they could be translated mathematically, you realize that there is something wrong with modern education. As you said in your text, ” create attitudes”. As a psychologist, I can tell you that you create attitudes when you teach someone how to think. If people are given just “techniques” to “do a job”, they never learn HOW to think – they become conditioned by the WAY they think.
That is very clear in the way people in Greece (and world wide)are responding to the crisis. I have an economist friend (and economists in general) that think it is perfectly all right to borrow from the IMF and instigate austerity measures to solve economic problems. Besides that being completelly ilogical (as punctuated by different economists such as Max Keiser and others) it shows that the human brain can only grasp the truncated notions of different techniques (increase taxes, pay debts, cut jobs), but is unable to bind/join/ link those acts together like…in a mathematical equasion (A+B+C=D).There is no continuinity.
By coincidence, I found a text about Foucault. A text about “disciplined society”; he realized that, from the 16th century, the system used techniques from psychiatric hospitals and prisons to condition, control, and keep society productive and disciplined. He called it “the birth of BIO- politics”, “psychiatric power”, “carceral continuun”, “government that regulates population by Bio- power”. I think you would be interested in his books.
Thank you for sending me “Unfiltered News”.

The Collapse Of Western Morality
By Paul Craig Roberts
…permit me to acknowledge that the US dropped nuclear bombs on two Japanese cities, fire-bombed Tokyo, that Great Britain and the US fire-bombed Dresden and a number of other German cities, expending more destructive force, according to some historians, against the civilian German population than against the German armies, that President Grant and his Civil War war criminals, Generals Sherman and Sheridan, committed genocide against the Plains Indians, that the US today enables Israel’s genocidal policies against the Palestinians, policies that one Israeli official has compared to 19th century US genocidal policies against the American Indians, that the US in the new 21st century invaded Iraq and Afghanistan on contrived pretenses, murdering countless numbers of civilians, and that British prime minister Tony Blair lent the British army to his American masters, as did other NATO countries, all of whom find themselves committing war crimes under the Nuremberg standard in lands in which they have no national interests, but for which they receive an American pay check.
I don’t mean these few examples to be exhaustive. I know the list goes on and on. Still, despite the long list of horrors, moral degradation is reaching new lows. The US now routinely tortures prisoners, despite its strict illegality under US and international law, and a recent poll shows that the percentage of Americans who approve of torture is rising. Indeed, it is quite high, though still just below a majority.
And we have what appears to be a new thrill: American soldiers using the cover of war to murder civilians. Recently American troops were arrested for murdering Afghan civilians for fun and collecting trophies such as fingers and skulls. …
The US government, a font of imperial hubris [def. – excessive pride or self-confidence; arrogance], does not believe that any act it commits, no matter how vile, can possibly be a war crime. One million dead Iraqis, a ruined country, and four million displaced Iraqis are all justified, because the “threatened” US Superpower had to protect itself from nonexistent weapons of mass destruction that the US government knew for a fact were not in Iraq and could not have been a threat to the US if they were in Iraq. …
Some sports teams now have a win-at-all-cost attitude that involves plans to injure the star players of the opposing teams. …
Americans will be the first people sent straight to Hell while thinking that they are the salt of the earth. The Americans have even devised a title for themselves to rival that of the Israelis’ self-designation as “God’s Chosen People.” The Americans call themselves “the indispensable people.”
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.

Lady Gaga, superstar to teens, wears dress made of animal flesh (opinion)
If you’ve ever wondered about the true mental sickness of the entertainment industry, look no further than Lady Gaga. She rose to fame and has become a teen favorite by pumping out tunes like “Love Game” where she belts out lines such as “Let’s have some fun, this beat is sick, I wanna take a ride on your disco stick.”
Seriously. This is the stuff your teenage kids are piping into their brains through their iPods, by the way.
And that’s just the beginning: Lady Gaga is also largely responsible for the new craze of wearing “dilated pupil contact lenses” which make young girls appear to be either sexually aroused or stoned. These contact lenses are potentially dangerous, and they are being brought into the U.S. illegally, bypassing FDA approval. But thanks to Lady Gaga, young girls are increasingly interested in wearing them so they, too, can look “aroused and stoned” in order to arouse potential sex partners.
But there’s more to this sick story: Lady Gaga was recently honored at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, where she received a whopping eight “moonman” awards as well as Video of the Year honors.
To accept these awards, Lady Gaga actually appeared on stage wearing a dress made out of animal flesh. Yes, she was literally draped in animal flesh. This has been reported as her “red meat dress.”
“Meat is the decomposing flesh of a tormented animal who didn’t want to die, and after a few hours under the TV lights, it would smell like the rotting flesh it is and likely be crawling in maggots — not too attractive, really.” says PETA on its website (http://blog.peta.org/archives/2010/…).
Is Lady Gaga a worshipper of death?
But it goes far deeper than that. Anyone who would wear a dress made out of red meat is, for starters, mentally ill. But Lady Gaga goes far beyond just mentally ill, reaching to depths of necro-worship that make her appear almost Satanic.
In an upcoming live event, she promises to be surrounded by on-stage corpses. It is being widely reported across the ‘net that she plans to put dead human bodies on stage as part of her “act.”
Now, for those who really know what goes on behind the scenes of the entertainment industry, this probably comes as no surprise. There has always been a bizarre element of dark energy at work at the fringes of this industry, but Lady Gaga may be taking it to a whole new depth of darkness. Here’s why:

Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert trash 9/11 Truth, plan counter-Beck rallies
Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart along with Stephen Colbert are announcing counter-Beck rallies at the Lincoln Memorial on October 30, 2010. Stewart’s is for “Restoring Sanity”, Colbert’s is for keeping “Fear Alive”. While both of these guys have done some pretty amazing work pulling down the pants of right wing hypocrisy and government lunacy, they are nonetheless serving the unhelpful role of left wing progressive gate keepers by once again referring to 9/11 Truth activism as “conspiracy” stuff.

‘Extra labeling only confuses the consumer,’ biotech spokesman says
That the Food and Drug Administration is opposed to labeling foods that are genetically modified is no surprise anymore, but a report in the Washington Post indicates the FDA won’t even allow food producers to label their foods as being free of genetic modification.
In reporting that the FDA will likely not require the labeling of genetically modified salmon if it approves the food product for consumption, the Post‘s Lyndsey Layton notes that the federal agency “won’t let conventional food makers trumpet the fact that their products don’t contain genetically modified ingredients.”
The agency warned the dairy industry in 1994 that it could not use “Hormone Free” labeling on milk from cows that are not given engineered hormones, because all milk contains some hormones.
It has sent a flurry of enforcement letters to food makers, including B&G Foods, which was told it could not use the phrase “GMO-free” on its Polaner All Fruit strawberry spread label because GMO refers to genetically modified organisms and strawberries are produce, not organisms.
It told the maker of Spectrum Canola Oil that it could not use a label that included a red circle with a line through it and the words “GMO,” saying the symbol suggested that there was something wrong with genetically engineered food.
“This to me raises questions about whose interest the FDA is protecting,” House Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) told the Post. Kucinich has repeatedly introduced bills in the House that would require the labeling of genetically modified foods. …
“The public wants to know and the public has a right to know,” New York University nutrition professor Marion Nestle told the Post. “I think the agency has discretion, but it’s under enormous political pressure to approve [the salmon] without labeling.”

Bill Maloney talks about child abuse to a shattered and ‘perspiring’ David Icke immediately after the Brixton event last Saturday
Interview starts at 5 minutes[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_WTpE0tcQE]David Icke & Bill Maloney 02 Brixton Academy – True Grit

David Icke: http://www.davidicke.com
David Icke is becoming a predominant speaker against child abuse. Even though he is not a victim himself, he has an empathy with the victims and survivors and their horrific experiences, and continuous struggle through life.
This video is a short clip from the footage that Billy & Lilly shot at David’s O2 Brixton Academy event in London on the 11th September 2010.
David invited Pie and Mash Films along, and gave them freedom with their camera to document the day.
Bill interviews many of David’s audience during the breaks that took place through the nine and a half hours of the show. As David ‘cools down’ after his marathon show he makes time for a comprehensive interview with campaigning filmmaker and abuse survivor Bill Maloney. More footage will be available soon.
If you are a supporter of Pie and Mash Films, we would ask you to help us to continue with our fights against child abuse, and for you and your family’s civil liberties, by donating whatever you can afford, or by purchasing our films from our website, to enable us to continue giving you the hard hitting facts.

Pope Benedict XVI has been widely criticised for his handling, or lack of it, of the child abuse revelations all over the world. Every move and response has been motivated by damage limitation to his church rather than compassion and justice for the victims.
A BBC documentary, Sex Crimes And The Vatican, revealed how, when the Pope was known as Cardinal Thomas Ratzinger, he sent out an updated version of the notorious 1962 Vatican document Crimen Sollicitationis (Latin for The Crime of Solicitation) which imposed the Vatican’s strict instructions on how to cover up sexual scandal.
It even talked about slush funds, or ‘hush’ funds, being used to silence the victims.
The document was so secret that it included instructions that bishops had to keep it locked away in a safe at all times. So much for the compassion of the church. Never mind the unimaginable life-long impact on the children – keep the lid down to protect the perpetrators.
Pope Benedict, as Cardinal Ratzinger, was head for 24 years of the powerful Congregation of the Doctrine of The Faith, the department of the Roman Catholic Church charged with promoting Catholic teachings on ‘morals and matters of faith’. How ironic.
He was also known as the ‘enforcer’ for, and controller of, the puppet Pope, John Paul II, and took charge of blocking any challenges to the status quo of ‘traditional Catholic teachings’.
Benedict has been forced to accept the unfolding scale of what has happened – and is still happening – only by that scale becoming ever more obvious, not least with the revelations of the hundreds of abused children in Belgium, at least 13 of whom committed suicide.

The ‘head of morals’. I can think of better.

John Holdren, Obama’s Science Advisor, is urging the public to stop using the phrase “global warming” and replace it with “global climate disruption.” [Smart move for the mythmakers, because the reality of global cooling becomes more evident with each passing month, and the phrase “climate change” is not scary enough to justify the massive taxes and government controls these people have in mind.]
