(I can’t find a ‘Mhar’ attached to this quote elsewhere)
Alex clearly hasn’t always succeeded, but forgiving others is clearly on his mind, and he’s at least in part doing it. I have seen two recent examples:
Alex just this week said something very kind about a fellow patriot who had vehemently attacked Alex in a whole week of YouTube videos. Clearly, Alex should have gotten right with this person from the get-go, and they wouldn’t have had this huge falling out. But at least he’s making at least this effort to forgive and walk in love.
And recently, he had Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks on The Alex Jones Show. They had made huge fun of Alex, but I was so happy and encouraged to see Alex respond by reaching out — because sometimes Alex’s behavior quite concerns me.
This is a breath of fresh air, but he’s far from being out of the woods. We need to be right with everyone — reconciling and forgiving from the heart.

Simon Adahl, St Matthew and Prophetic Enemy Love
Simon picked up his Bible again. He expected a new revelation that would make him rich and famous. Instead he got chocked when he read “Love your enemies” in Matthew 5:44. “How could I love the idiot that is stalking us?” he shouted to God. But still he started to bless his enemy one minute a day. At first it was just empty words. After a while though, he actually started to have compassion with this man. After five months, he sincerely blessed him and prayed for his protection and happiness.
Then Simon found him on the street. The man got scared, but Simon hugged him and invited him to dinner. …
See what happens when you love your enemies? Simon could not stop emphasizing the importance of forgiveness when accessing the gifts of the Spirit. We need love and compassion for miracles to abound. And it doesn’t hurt to be a conscientious objector as well.
Former Hitler Youth member and World War Two veteran Hilmar Von Campe warns that America’s collective turn away from God is greasing the skids for the state to take over as the ultimate authority, threatening a repeat of the rise of National Socialism, as he warns that the Obama White House and the United States government in general now more closely embrace the political doctrines of the Nazis than they do those of the founding fathers.
Von Campe explains how when he returned from the war he was determined to find out how the Germans, a relatively cultured and civil people before the rise of the Nazis, could have allowed a monster like Hitler to implement the Third Reich. Von Campe attributes the fall of Germany to the Nazis partly to “Godlessness,” a collapse in moral standards, and the German people acting contrary to God’s desires. Based on this revelation, he has created a formula to try and prevent countries from succumbing to tyranny in future.
Von Campe explains how children were indoctrinated by the state and the education system to uphold Nazi beliefs and then spy on and inform on their parents if they didn’t follow suit, as a way of breaking up families and enforcing a single ideology. He also reveals how the Nazis insisted upon discussion about religion and God being kept out of society, in the interests of ensuring that the people could not call on a higher authority than the state and therefore were less inclined to resist the Nazi takeover.
Von Campe warns that the process of taking God out of society and education, and the accelerating erosion of America’s Christian foundations bears startling similarities to how National Socialism established itself in 1930’s Germany, while chillingly pointing out that the US Senate, House and the Obama White House now more closely resembles the Nazis than it does the founding fathers.

The Big Trees is a 1952 film starring Kirk Douglas and directed by Felix E. Feist.
This was Kirk Douglas’s final contracted film with Warner Brothers after a long period of rough relationships between him and the company.
Plot :
In 1900, lumberman Jim Fallon (Kirk Douglas) greedily eyes the big trees in the virgin region of northern California. The land is already settled by, among others, a religious group led by Elder Bixby (Charles Meredith). Jim becomes infatuated with Bixby’s daughter, Alicia (Eve Miller), though that does not change his plan to cheat the homesteaders. When Jim’s right-hand man, Yukon Burns (Edgar Buchanan) finds out, he changes sides and leads the locals in resisting Jim.
Elder Bixby is killed when a big sequoia tree is chopped down by Jim’s men and accidentally falls on his cabin. Jim’s desperate attempt to rescue Alicia’s father saves him from being convicted of murder. Meanwhile, timber rival Cleve Gregg (Harry Cording) appears on the scene, making it a three-way fight. Gregg and his partner Frenchy LeCroix (John Archer) try to assassinate Jim, but end up killing Yukon instead. Jim has a dramatic change of heart and leads the settlers in defeating Gregg and Frenchy. …

How Your Heart Can Help You Sleep Better
Tip 1: Reset your inner rhythm.
Your heart beats in a rhythm. When you are worried, anxious, stressed or overstimulated that rhythm becomes irregular. The more stressed you are, the more chaotic your heart rhythm becomes. So what makes the heart rhythm smooth out quickly? It’s sincere positive feelings, like love, care, gratitude, appreciation, compassion, kindness, peace and ease. These feelings not only feel soothing and good, but they are good for you. They bring a smooth order to your heart rhythms, reduce cortisol (the stress hormone) to help you sleep more soundly and increase DHEA (the vitality hormone) so you wake up more refreshed.
[…]
Tip 2: Have you ever noticed what happens when you go to bed without resolving a real or imagined conflict with someone? Your mind won’t stop rehashing what you could have or should have said. Your heart can help. Here’s how:
If you can, communicate with the other person, even by phone, before you go to bed. With a caring open-heartedness and latitude, try to work it out. First ask yourself if there’s something you need to correct within yourself to help the situation. Apologize if you need to and listen from your heart with an attitude of genuine care. Ask questions to sincerely understand where she was coming from, even if you think you know. If you can’t reach the person, talk about the problem with someone who won’t automatically take your side and may provide another point of view. Then talk to the person as soon as you can. Don’t chicken out. Even if the situation doesn’t resolve right away, you can release yourself more knowing that you tried.
[…]
Tip 3: Realize that emotional reactions during the day can affect how you sleep at night.
If you allow stress to build-up during the day, it throws off your body’s rhythms and can lead to overload, headaches, backaches, indigestion, energy drain and more. Your heart generates the strongest rhythmic pattern in the body, and your brain and nervous system entrain to your heart’s rhythm whether coherent or incoherent. Shifting your heart into a smooth coherent rhythm a couple times during the day helps release stress as you go and resets your body’s rhythms for better sleep at night. Here’s how.
Take a coherence break in-between activities, at your desk or anywhere.
[…]
To speed up the process, you can sign up for HeartMath’s Better Sleep Campaign to receive more tips or try the emWave2 Personal Stress Reliever heart rhythm feedback technology to watch in real-time when your heart rhythms shift into that smooth coherent state.

Alanis Morissette – This Grudge (2003)
Uploaded by letterman203 on Dec 26, 2007
From open TV concert in the US – Soundstage Concert Series (2003)
——————————–
Fourteen years
Thirty minutes
Fifteen seconds I’ve
Held this grudge
Eleven songs
Four full journals
Thoughts of punishment
I’ve expended
Not in contact
Not a letter
Such communication
Telepathic
You’ve been vilified
Used as fodder
You deserve a piece
Of every record
But who’s it hurting now?
Who’s the one that’s stuck?
Who’s it torturing now
With an antique knot in her stomach?
I want to be big and let go
Of this grudge that’s grown old
All this time I’ve not known
How to rest this bygone
I wanna be soft and resolved
Clean of slate and released
I wanna forgive for the both of us
Like an abandoned house
Dusty covered
Furniture
Still intact
If I visit it now
Will I simply re-live it
Somehow gratuitous
But who’s still aching now?
Who’s tired of her own voice?
Who is it weighing down
With no gift from time of said healing
I want to be big and let go
Of this grudge that’s grown old
All this time I’ve not known
How to rest this bygone
I wanna be soft and resolved
Clean of slate and released
I wanna forgive for the both of us
Maybe as I cut the cord
Veils will lift from my eyes
Maybe as I lay this to rest
Dead weight off my shoulders will rise
Here I sit
Much determined
Ever ill-equipped
To draw this curtain
How this has entertained
Validated
And has served me well
Ever the victim
But who’s done whining now?
Who’s ready to put down
This load I’ve carried longer than I had cared to remember
I want to be big and let go
Of this grudge that’s grown old
For the life of me I’ve not known
How to rest this bygone
I wanna be soft and resolved
Clean of slate and released
I wanna forgive for the both of us.
Got compassion?
Let’s get some more!

SIDENOTE: I love this!!! However, I personally see these Hebrew transliterations as distracting. They’re often red flags to the Hebrew roots movement, which is often dangerous (works of the Old Covenant law instead of being led by the Holy Spirit, God Himself, directly). But I like what they have done here. I love the forgiving/no vengeance terminology!!!
Wonderful!

Who are we?
Then who are we?
Then who are we?
We are the ONES denying ourselves and following our Almighty Shepherd. We are the ONES who do NOT belong to this wicked world. We are the little lambs of God who forgive and love both our friends and foes. We are spiritually reborn into Heaven.
We are the echoing VOICE of truth. We are both physically and spiritually united in our cause. We are the Warriors of Love. We are the Annointed Eagles. We are the humble and meek, we never take revenge ourselves upon our foes. We are the people of the future.
We are the enemies of the devil and his minions. We are the ONES who would rather die physical death than to be enslaved by the wicked.
We are the ONES who acknowledge the Call from the Holy Spirit ~ The Ruach haKodesh. We are the ONES who seek as many people as possible to unite in our wonderful journey. We are the ONES who goes through hardship and suffering for our Heavenly Father’s Love. We are the bringers of GOD’s WORD. We are the ONES who are called to warn the people of this world of the coming false peace.
We REFUSE to be silented. We WILL RISE UP! Act UP! Speak UP! Tell the devil to Shut UP! In the Name of Yahushua! Even if the whole world is against us, we have the majority on our side!
The very nature that is controlled by God Almighty will rage against the wicked.
Who are we?
We are the children of Yahuveh and we will NEVER be silented

Since posting, I have found that some dispute that Gandhi said this. I found the following:
I can’t find any source for him stating the quote as such. I did find a book, The Knights Templar & the Protestant Reformation, which states that when Stanley Jones, a missionary met with Ghandi he asked him:
Mr. Gandhi, though you quote the words of Christ often, why is that you appear to so adamantly reject becoming his follower?
Gandhi replied:
Oh, I don’t reject Christ. I love Christ. It’s just that so many of you Christians are so unlike Christ.
The book seems to have a reference, although I can’t check what it is as the references page is not on Google Books.
The quote seems to be from the book Mr. Gandhi, the man by Millie Graham Polak although the book is not viewable online.
Searching the book for the first part of the passage quoted in the knights templar book, “Is Mr. Gandhi a Christian?” returns a hit, although searching for “stanley jones” or “reject christ” does not.
In The Christ of the Indian Road by E. Stanley Jones, Stanley Jones asked Gandhi how to naturalize Christianity into India. Gandhi replied in part:
I would suggest first of all that all of you Christians, missionaries and all begin to live more like Jesus Christ.
This could be in part where the quote came from, if it was never said directly by Gandhi.
Given the amount of consistent references to the quote being said in reply to a question from Stanley Jones, I think it is likely something very similar to the oft quoted passage was said. I can’t find anything online that shows this for certain and don’t have access to the books where the quote may appear to check, so it’s hard to say for sure.
Dave A. responds in a comment to this post (below):
The information I have so far attributes the proximate statement in Stanley’s book to Bara Dada and not to Gandhi. I have a first edition copy of “Mr. Gandhi the Man” by Polak (1931) and I assure you that the Gandhi quote is NOT in that book. He speaks to his friend about his attraction to Christianity and the possibility of becoming Christian himself. His reasons for not doing so, he explains, have to do with his sense that he has found, in his “native” Hindu religion, all of the essential values that Christianity promotes. He is in a sense a universalist, believing that a path to God can be found in every major religion. There are no disparaging remarks about Christians in the book. Gandhi’s history is one of reconciliation and marshalling people from many faith communities to promote freedom and justice. That work began in earnest in South Africa, where he brought Christians together with other adherents for his social justice work.
