The Other Side of the Story of James O’Keefe: When the Board of Project Veritas took issue with O’Keefe’s extravagant spending and ousted him last year, I generally sided with O’Keefe’s version—something I now regret. Here is the other side of the story showing some of O’Keefe’s bad judgment amid poor moral choices, and his often lavish lifestyle courtesy of donor funds. The Daily Mail tabloid revealed details of his spending habits. Apparently, much of it centered around O’Keefe’s wooing of a TV star in California and purposely setting up donor meetings that would also give him the opportunity to spend time with his girlfriend. Sadly, we can’t always rely on conservatives to have proper moral habits in private, as evidenced by the next story as well.

Anchorage Assemblyman Felix Rivera joined a hard-left Marxist and socialist organization to protest the Alaska Board of Education’s decision to limit girls’ high school sports to biological females.
On Sept. 2, an Alaska’s News Source clip [I fixed the Watchman’s link] showed Rivera speaking at a rally sponsored by the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) Anchorage, which is part of a national network that seeks to engage local battles across the nation to advance socialist causes like free housing, higher minimum wages, abortion on demand, union growth, climate change legislation and LGBTQ political goals. The PSL national website endorses the use of “militant” tactics to further its causes with the ultimate plan of toppling capitalism and establishing a new socialist government.
Dave Mustaine, the frontman for heavy metal band Megadeth, blasted mask mandates in a tirade to fans during a concert in Camden, New Jersey.
“I just wanna tell you how great it is. Look around you, guys. Look to your right, look to your left, and look how wonderful this is,” said Mustaine to his fans Wednesday.
“We’re all here together. We’re not in f***ing bags. We’re not freaking out, and we’re not yelling at people, ‘Wear your f***ing mask,'” he added, according to Loudwire.
“Listen, it starts with this kind of a sensation that we build right now. We feel together, we feel strength in numbers. We feel like we are invincible. People will not be able to stop us,” he continued.
“Right now, what’s going on is tyranny,” Mustaine said. “This is called tyranny. Look it up when you get home. And tyranny isn’t only in government. Tyranny right now is in the schools and tyranny is in the medical business. We have the power, especially us heavy metal fans, we have the power to change things.” (source)

A new report shows that states that have legalized or weakened restrictions around high-THC marijuana, either for medical or recreational use, saw 32% more marijuana-impaired driving than states that have not adopted the same policies. …
