Public transit authorities are installing surveillance systems on buses that will give them the ability to record and store private conversations. Officials say that the systems will help improve the safety of passengers and drivers, but the system has privacy violation issues as audio could easily be coupled with facial recognition systems or audio recognition technology to identify passengers, according to an expert.

Shutting the public down: Anchorage Assembly eliminates public participation at start of meetings
By Suzanne Downing -September 28, 2022
The half hour that has been reserved for audience participation during the early part of the Anchorage Assembly meetings is no more. The Assembly majority has killed it with a stealth move.
AO 2022-82 passed on Tuesday night, with a surprise amendment from Assemblyman Chris Constant, removing the “initial audience participation” that was given one half hour after some early business was taken care of by the Assembly. There will be a limited time for a member of the public to speak if that person has made an appearance request in advance. At this point, the reservations for those appearances are limited to three people, for three minutes each.
The title of the ordinance didn’t suggest that audience participation would be limited. That came from the surprise amendment by Constant, which passed. Assemblyman Felix Rivera, who usually votes with the leftist majority, broke from the majority to vote against the amendment.
Whittier is a fascinating and gorgeous town 60 miles from Anchorage on Prince William Sound, accessible by tunnel and ocean only. I’ve been there many times, and have thoroughly checked out his WWII building where almost everyone lives, because it’s literally bombproof tough.
I once experienced 80 mph winds in winter there. Parked cars were visibly moving back and forth. Whittier gets a lot of wind because of the location between Prince William Sound and Turnagain Arm, where the wind funnels through. When it’s calm in summer, it’s a gem. I photographed a nearby waterfall, and made a big print, when I was still doing photography.
Video says:
1.5 hours southwest of Anchorage is a town accessed only through a tunnel under a glacier or by sea. A place where almost all of the residents live in one self-contained building with a school, store, church, USPS, and everything it takes to live under one roof. Join me as we meet some of the interesting people who live there.

The Real Story of the Jan 6th Protest and the Treatment of Jan 6 Prisoners
Here are two in-depth research pieces that are must-see or reads. The first is the new Epoch Times documentary, free during the month of September: The Real Story of Jan 6. Watch it as soon as possible.
It concentrates on the police provocations and deliberate tactics used to anger the crowd and induce them to fight with police, which if proven, would be grounds for an entrapment defense. They also explain the specific scenes where protestors are seen attacking police at the entrance to a tunnel. The media describe the scene as protestor criminal violence, but the Epoch Times found out that police inside the tunnel had turned on an innocent woman inside named Rozanne, and were beating her mercilessly. Protestors where battling police to get inside and rescue her. It makes a big difference to know the context of the film clips.
They carefully cover the issue of “suspicious actors” like Ray Epps, fomenting violence and being given deference by police. There is extensive filming of other masked agents provoking people to break through capitol windows that had been cracked. They were encouraging people to pull the glass out and go inside. Victoria White tells how there was a small team of masked men who brought hammers to the protest to break out impact resistant glass and how Trump supporters tried to stop them. “Who brings hammers to a peaceful protest?” she asks. The bad guys worked as a team to pull the Trump people off their teammates doing the damage, to allow it to continue.
None of them have been identified by the DOJ (they didn’t even try) and none have been prosecuted. The presence of agent provocateurs changes everything about the justice of selective prosecution. The video also tells how OathKeepers worked to de-escalate violence between the few violent protestors and police, contrary to negative news reports painting Oathkeepers as the problem.

In this interview, investigative journalist Whitney Webb discusses her book, “One Nation Under Blackmail: The Sordid Union Between Intelligence and Crime That Gave Rise to Jeffrey Epstein.” The book is so long, it was cut into two volumes. Volume 1 alone is 544 pages, but it’s a fascinating read and incredibly well-referenced.
Whitney Webb’s book, “One Nation Under Blackmail: The Sordid Union Between Intelligence and Crime That Gave Rise to Jeffrey Epstein,” provides the framework to understand not just the role and function of Epstein, but also, more broadly, the mess we’re now finding ourselves in.
Around the time of World War II, the intelligence community in the United States formalized its cooperation with organized crime syndicates in what was known as Operation Underworld, and the web of corruption grew from there.
Sexual blackmail was used by organized crime before U.S. intelligence even existed. As criminal factions and intelligence agencies developed a symbiotic relationship, blackmail became a tool to achieve their individual ends.
While it may appear as though organized crime is being combated, this is rarely ever the case. Stories of cracking down on organized crime are cover stories to hide what’s really happening, which is the consolidation of organized crime territory.
The incentive behind all this criminal activity is not merely the hoarding of money to live in the lap of luxury. It’s about power and control over others. The good news is we can pull the plug on their plans.

Ukraine Takes the Offensive, but Can it Win the War?

Even conservatives who should know better are making the mistake of seeing Russia as the victim of Western aggression. They are sincere in being anti-globalists, but they make the mistake of thinking that as in the phony war on terror, anyone the globalists and neocons attack must be good guys. No one is a good guy in world affairs anymore, especially Russia and China.

A report released on March 31 by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (https:// www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2022/p0331-youth-mental-health-covid-19.html) states that according to the new data, in 2021, more than a third (37%) of high school students reported they experienced poor mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic, and 44% reported they persistently felt sad or hopeless during the past year. The new analyses also describe some of the severe challenges youth encountered during the pandemic:

Twin Towers Engineered To Withstand Jet Collision
Feb 27, 1993
Eric Nalder
Engineers had to consider every peril they could imagine when they designed the World Trade Center three decades ago because, at the time, the twin towers were of unprecedented size for structures made of steel and glass.
“We looked at every possible thing we could think of that could happen to the buildings, even to the extent of an airplane hitting the side,” said John Skilling, head structural engineer. “However, back in those days people didn’t think about terrorists very much.”
Skilling, based in Seattle, is among the world’s top structural engineers. He is responsible for much of Seattle’s downtown skyline and for several of the world’s tallest structures, including the Trade Center.
Concerned because of a case where an airplane hit the Empire State Building, Skilling’s people did an analysis that showed the towers would withstand the impact of a Boeing 707.
“Our analysis indicated the biggest problem would be the fact that all the fuel (from the airplane) would dump into the building. There would be a horrendous fire. A lot of people would be killed,” he said. “The building structure would still be there.”
16:45 The generator on the lawn that the plane’s right engine hit and moved greatly was 20-40 tons — twists the plane to the right
19:40 Size of the hole. 90 feet continuous. Vertical objects are actually hanging, were severed. No intact columns.

Leaves and branches from the tree that was clipped into a super hot engine making steam and smoke, spiraling because of the spiraling engine [maybe even bogging down from the ingestion?, I’m thinking].
19:45 Why it’s important to show a 757 did hit the Pentagon, refuting the no-planes theories? Statement read by Ken Jenkins. “… Disseminating theories that are seductive to some, that can readily be shown to be false has already weakened our credibility, and will continue to do so until we deal with it. … Most of the speakers here today once believed that no plane impacted the Pentagon. But as more evidence has come to light we have changed our minds as truth seekers must do.”

How fuel filled, aluminum jet aircraft wings could travel through the WTC steel facade at 500 mph at the weak points (breaking the bolts and welds).
The government’s calculations put the speed of the first plane at 494 mph, and the second at 586 mph. The MIT analysis determined the first plane was traveling 429 mph, and the second 537 mph, The Times said. (source)
