Airplane crash investigation– this one had a huge impact on me as Stevie Ray or Leonard Skynnrd might have on others. For me, it was the real day the music stopped. Keith Green was a pioneer in “Jesus Music” of the seventies and early eighties. When a family visiting their Texas ranch went up in the twin engine Cessna 414, Keith took two of his children as well. It was four adults and eight children in the 7 seat Chancellor. The plane struggled to get airborne before impacting 30′ high trees, and exploding, killing everyone aboard.

The half hour that has been reserved for audience participation during the early part of the Anchorage Assembly meetings is no more. The Assembly majority has killed it with a stealth move.

AO 2022-82 passed on Tuesday night, with a surprise amendment from Assemblyman Chris Constant, removing the “initial audience participation” that was given one half hour after some early business was taken care of by the Assembly. There will be a limited time for a member of the public to speak if that person has made an appearance request in advance. At this point, the reservations for those appearances are limited to three people, for three minutes each.

The title of the ordinance didn’t suggest that audience participation would be limited. That came from the surprise amendment by Constant, which passed. Assemblyman Felix Rivera, who usually votes with the leftist majority, broke from the majority to vote against the amendment.

Whittier is a fascinating and gorgeous town 60 miles from Anchorage on Prince William Sound, accessible by tunnel and ocean only. I’ve been there many times, and have thoroughly checked out his WWII building where almost everyone lives, because it’s literally bombproof tough.

I once experienced 80 mph winds in winter there. Parked cars were visibly moving back and forth. Whittier gets a lot of wind because of the location between Prince William Sound and Turnagain Arm, where the wind funnels through. When it’s calm in summer, it’s a gem. I photographed a nearby waterfall, and made a big print, when I was still doing photography.

1.5 hours southwest of Anchorage is a town accessed only through a tunnel under a glacier or by sea. A place where almost all of the residents live in one self-contained building with a school, store, church, USPS, and everything it takes to live under one roof. The Real Story of the Jan 6^th Protest and the Treatment of Jan 6 Prisoners

Here are two in-depth research pieces that are must-see or reads. The first is the new Epoch Times documentary, free during the month of September: The Real Story of Jan 6. Watch it as soon as possible.

It concentrates on the police provocations and deliberate tactics used to anger the crowd and induce them to fight with police, which if proven, would be grounds for an entrapment defense. They also explain the specific scenes where protestors are seen attacking police at the entrance to a tunnel. The media describe the scene as protestor criminal violence, but the Epoch Times found out that police inside the tunnel had turned on an innocent woman inside named Rozanne, and were beating her mercilessly. Protestors where battling police to get inside and rescue her. It makes a big difference to know the context of the film clips.

They carefully cover the issue of “suspicious actors” like Ray Epps, fomenting violence and being given deference by police. There is extensive filming of other masked agents provoking people to break through capitol windows that had been cracked. They were encouraging people to pull the glass out and go inside. Victoria White tells how there was a small team of masked men who brought hammers to the protest to break out impact resistant glass and how Trump supporters tried to stop them. “Who brings hammers to a peaceful protest?” she asks. The bad guys worked as a team to pull the Trump people off their teammates doing the damage, to allow it to continue.

None of them have been identified by the DOJ (they didn’t even try) and none have been prosecuted. The presence of agent provocateurs changes everything about the justice of selective prosecution. The video also tells how OathKeepers worked to de-escalate violence between the few violent protestors and police, contrary to negative news reports painting Oathkeepers as the problem.
