“In my view, I think that the financial sector, this financial industry, this international banking industry, if you want to call it, the cartel now is in total control. The government is its lapdog. Once you get that picture in your mind all of these mysterious things suddenly are answered. That’s why it’s happening, because these guys have literally captured our government.
We think that the government is the regulator of the banks, but the banks are the masters of the regulators.”
“I think we’re coming right down to the endgame.”
“A lot of … people … say we’ve got to have more regulation, not realizing it’s that very government regulation that allows monopolies and cartels to survive, because without it they’ll start to compete with each other….”

It is a fact. Gandhi had young women in his ashram, some of them still teenagers, one of them his own grand-niece [Manu Gandhi], sleep naked with him in his bed at night. This was an aspect of Gandhi that I had not read about before, and it surprised me at first. I was researching for my book ‘Sex and Power’ which looks at the history of sex and sexuality in India, and it was important for me to investigate this further. …
Most angering for me was reading about the psychological and emotional trauma of the girls and women who he used for his “experiments,”which is what he called these incidents. The word ‘psychotic’repeatedly came up in various documents with regards to these women’s mental state. The women, most of who were in their late teens or early twenties [not surprisingly, given he could have ‘experimented’ with the older women or even his own wife!] were repeatedly described as depressed and weeping, and seemed to be completely in his control. Besides this, some of the archival references lead me to believe that Gandhi may well have been practicing the traditional, historic form of Indian celibacy which hinges on one thing only – and that is control of ejaculation. Everything else is permitted.
What I could not understand is why school texts and biographies have selectively edited out this information because it was a big and explosive aspect of the inner dynamics of the Gandhi ashram and its inmates for the last 10 years of Gandhi’s life. It eventually led to the partial break-up of his inner-core circle.

In this article, Oliver Stone and Peter Kuznick start out with this list of U.S. “unpopular wars and repression that includes Iran, Guatemala, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Greece, Indonesia, Chile, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan.”
And then they make this poignant statement about American exceptionalism and the Vietnam war memorial.

Oliver Stone: The myth of American exceptionalism
As a nation, we need to drop the notion that we are outstanding.
Oliver Stone and Peter Kuznick
[…]
The U.S. invasion of Vietnam is the most egregious case of external aggression by any nation in the post-WWII era. Martin Luther King, America’s greatest moral voice since the Second World War, said, “If America’s soul becomes totally poisoned, part of the autopsy must read: Vietnam.” However, a recent Gallup poll found that 51% of Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 believe the war was “not a mistake.” In May 2012, Obama announced a 13-year “commemoration” of the Vietnam War, honoring those Americans who fought “heroically to protect the ideals we hold dear as Americans.”
We wonder which ideals, exactly, Obama was referring to. A few years before his death, former secretary of Defense Robert McNamara told students at American University that 3.8 million Vietnamese died in that war. Most college students, when asked in informal surveys, place the number at a quarter of that amount or less. The Vietnam Memorial Wall in D.C. contains the names of 58,272 Americans who died in the war. Its message is that the tragedy of that wretched war was that 58,000 Americans died. The wall is 146 feet long.
Imagine a wall that also contained the names of all the Vietnamese, Cambodians, Laotians, and others who died. Such a wall would be over 4 miles long. It would not only be a fitting memorial to all the victims of “American exceptionalism,” it would be a perfect tombstone for that most dangerous of American myths.

Cover-ups, Betrayals and Miracles. The cloak-and-dagger story behind the discovery of Noah’s Ark and the attempts to suppress the news. Why some people reject the discovery. Solid evidence that this is the ‘real’ Noah’s Ark. A true-life thriller – archaeology at its most exciting. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rc…
=======================================
[SNIP] Later expeditions also located what appears to be Noah’s first home after the flood and the grave sites of Mr. and Mrs. Noah. The graves were evidenced by petroglyphs on the large tombstones. These were within ~5 miles of the Ark. Unfortunately, the graves were subsequently exhumed by grave robbers. The Turkish government later reported that a bodice that Mrs. Noah was wearing, which was covered with large precious stones, was sold on the Turkish black market for around $75 million. One of the burial crypts was later recovered and is in a back room of a museum in Ankara, Turkey. It is 18 feet long! Enormous human bones appeared in some of the hotels in the area soon after the graves were robbed. The size of the bones suggests that the Antediluvians were between 12-15 feet tall! [SNIP] http://www.bibleplus.org/discoveries/…
[SNIP] Excerpt from Life magazine…
“While routinely examining aerial photos of his country, a Turkish army captain suddenly gaped at the picture shown above. There, on a mountain 20 miles south of Mt. Ararat, the biblical landfall of Noah’s Ark, was a boat-shaped form about 500 feet long. The captain passed on the word. Soon an expedition including American scientists set out for the site.
At 7,000 feet, in the midst of crevasses and landslide debris, the explorers found a clear, grassy area shaped like a ship and rimmed with steep, packed-earth sides. Its dimensions are close to those given in Genesis: ‘The length of the ark shall be 300 cubits, the breadth of it 50 cubits, and the height of it 30 cubits,’ that is, 450x75x45 feet. A quick two-day survey revealed no sign that the object was man made. Yet a scientist in the group says nothing in nature could create such a symmetrical shape. A thorough excavation may be made another year to solve the mystery.” [SNIP] http://www.wyattmuseum.com/noahsark.htm

Money makes the world go round.
Nowhere is this motto more relevant than in the shadowy world of smuggling weaponry and drugs, not to mention legal arms sales which all too often lead to modern weaponry falling into the hands of America’s worst enemies.
This all becomes evident when dissecting recent events such as the 2011 ouster of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, the death of US Border Agent Brian Terry with weapons obtained through the government’s “Fast and Furious” program, the 2012 murder of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens in Benghazi, and the arming of Syrian rebels attacking the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad. http://www.infowars.com/insider-revea…

Hitler’s Propaganda Principles Alive in 21st Century
Ben Urwand’s The Collaboration: Hollywood’s Pact with Hitler(The Belknap Press of Harvard University Press, 2013) is a disturbing, unsettling and must-read. That Hollywood’s studio heavyweights like Jack Warner and Carl Laemmle would cut scenes and dialog offensive to the ideology of National Socialism is a tough fact to digest. But aggressive capitalists, whether operating in US dollars or German Deutsche Marks, do not distinguish between good and evil….
Urwand notes that Hitler saw the value of film for nationalist, mass propaganda long before other 20th century leaders did. Hitler thought that “Books were worthless. A writer could never change the views of an ordinary man on the street…there was only one way to inspire change–thru the spoken word…the vast majority of people were inherently lazy and unlikely to pick up a book if it went against what they believed to be true…There was a chance that they might glance at a leaflet or poster advertising a contrary position but they would never give it sufficient attention to change their views…The picture in all its forms up to the film has greater possibilities…Here a man needs to use his brains even less, it suffices to look, or at most to read, extremely brief texts and thus many more readily accept a pictorial presentation than read an article of any length. The picture brings them in a much briefer time, I might almost say at one stroke, the enlightenment which they obtain from written matter only after arduous reading….
And as to the beauty of film for nationalist, mass propaganda, Hitler thought that “The same applies even to a movie…If movies were screened around 9 p.m., just when he and many other cinema goers watched them, they could have a powerful effect…The receptivity of the great masses is very limited and their intelligence is small but their power of forgetting is enormous….” According to Urwand, Hitler believed “people were more likely to be convinced by his speeches after sundown. They were also more likely to be seduced by a piece of theater,” in the evening.
FBI files, newspaper ad and curious photos raise questions
NEW YORK – Despite his claims to the contrary, there is documentary evidence that George H. W. Bush was in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963, and was affiliated at that time with the CIA, despite protests that he was not associated with the agency until President Gerald R. Ford appointed him director in 1976.
Two FBI memos and a photograph of a man standing outside the Texas School Book Depository are among the intriguing items addressed in Jerome Corsi’s new book “Who Really Killed Kennedy”.
The evidence is significant as Corsi broaches the question asked by some researchers of the assassination: Was John F. Kennedy the first presidential victim of the emerging “New World Order” championed by former CIA directors Allen Dulles and George H. W. Bush?
Joining John B. Wells, Stewart Rhodes, founder and President of Oath Keepers, argued that there’s a relentless campaign going on to centralize power, militarize the police, and strip power out of the hands of average citizens. …
His organization, the Oath Keepers, works with military veterans, law enforcement, and first responders to remind them of their oaths to defend the Constitution, and not “just follow orders” that go against the people. Their mission also includes training these veterans and officers to become community leaders, to be able to step in during a crisis….
The real war going on is the elites versus the free people of the world, whom they seek to usher into a police state, Rhodes stated. The American people have to get back to their independence, starting with self-sufficiency and food reserves, yet the survivalist approach of working in isolation isn’t going to work, he commented. We have to think in terms of community, he said, such as a local VFW forming its own battalion.
Syria & Geopolitics
First hour guest, political scientist Joel Skousen provided insights on world affairs such as the situation in Syria. He doubted that Assad was behind the chemical attacks on Syrian civilians. The US and Israel have been looking for a way to justify an attack on Iran, and they hope by attacking Syria, Iran may support Assad with a retaliation, which would open the door for a war with them, Skousen posited. The US wants to target Iran not only to curtail their nuclear weapons development but to cut them off as an oil supplier to China, he continued, adding that he foresees an eventual war between the US and Russia & China.

Nayirah al-Ṣabaḥ (Arabic: نيره الصباح), called “Nurse Nayirah” in the media, was a fifteen-year-old Kuwaiti girl, who alleged that she had witnessed the murder of infant children by Iraqi soldiers in Kuwait, in verbal testimony to the U.S. Congress, in the run up to the 1991 Gulf War. Her testimony, which was regarded as credible at the time, has since come to be regarded as wartime propaganda. The public relations firm Hill & Knowlton, which was in the employ of Citizens for a Free Kuwait, had arranged the testimony. Nayirah’s testimony was widely publicized. Hill & Knowlton, which had filmed the hearing, sent out a video news release to Medialink, a firm which served about 700 television stations in the United States. That night, portions of the testimony aired on ABC’s Nightline and NBC Nightly News reaching an estimated audience between 35 and 53 million Americans. Seven senators cited Nayirah’s testimony in their speeches backing the use of force. President George Bush repeated the story at least ten times in the following weeks. (Wikipedia)

Edward’s thoughts for my post at ToBeFree, but also because I find Edward profound, and he’s such a great speaker and good guy! I have a lot of respect for him. He has been researching this for 50 years!
Edward doesn’t mention DIETRICH BONHOEFFER specifically, but he talks about the plot to kill Hitler at the very end of this broadcast [which seems to abruptly cut off, but more wasn’t actually said. I checked with the original].
I have always been impressed with Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s focus on the Sermon of the Mount, and his refusal to go along with Hitler when most of the pastors succumbed, but I’ve wondered if God really did lead him to try to kill Hitler. I think G. Edward is right. I don’t think it would have done any good had his group succeeded, and my guess is that the Holy Spirit didn’t actually lead Dietrich to attempt to assassinate Hitler, which ended with Bonhoeffer getting caught and executed.

FBI agents have rescued more than 100 children forced into prostitution by sex traffickers, during a three-day sweep across the US.
As part of Operation Cross Country, 150 people were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the sexual exploitation of children.
The raids took place in 76 cities, representing the largest such enforcement action to date, according to an FBI release.
Announcing the arrests, Ron Hosko, assistant director of the bureau’s Criminal Investigative Division, said: “Child prostitution remains a persistent threat to children across America.
“This operation serves as a reminder that these abhorrent crimes can happen anywhere and that the FBI remains committed to stopping this cycle of victimization and holding the criminals who profit from this exploitation accountable.”
The sweep, the seventh such nationwide operation, was conducted as part of the FBI’s Innocence Lost National Initiative, which seeks to bring together state and federal level bodies to crackdown on child prostitution. Agents recovered 105 sexually exploited children in the course of the operation. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013…

In the first half of the program, George Knapp was joined by, publisher of suppressed works, Kris Millegan, who talked about the secret forces controlling the planet and how they exercise their power while keeping their presence shrouded in secrecy. He contended that secret societies derive their power by exerting control over a three-tiered system with three parts contained in each level. The top tier of this power base, he said, consists of “mining, metal, and money” followed by “guns, drugs, and oil.” Comprising the final level, he claimed, is control over the media, using “magic” as a means “to make us think something else is going on,” and, finally, “mass trauma” in the form of psychological warfare on the populace. Ultimately, Millegan asserted that the agenda behind the power brokers is to slowly and secretly turn America into a corporate empire rather than a democratic republic.
Extrapolating on how this system of power consolidation works, Millegan alleged that controlling the illegal drug trade is a key factor in many military campaigns and is used to reap massive amounts of wealth for the elite. This money, he said, is then used to purchase media companies and, thus, they can manipulate the messages that are told to the general public. To that end, he expressed skepticism about media stories which are said to be revelatory about these power brokers and suggested that such reports are part of a psychological process to weaken the resolve of the citizenry. Additionally, he pointed to “meme warfare,” where alternative research groups, like the 9/11 Truth Movement, are hampered by false clues and incorrect evidence as a means of stifling investigation into the overarching conspiracy of global control.

In the second half, Amy Waters Yarsinske, a former naval intelligence officer, discussed the incredible story of denial, deceit, and deception that ultimately cost Navy pilot Captain Michael Scott Speicher his life after the government left him behind in Iraq during the first Gulf War. ..Yarsinske lamented that CIA and military officials made a “conscious decision” to not rescue him. She suggested that the decision was borne out of a desire to keep him from talking about being shot down by friendly fire as well as an effort to maintain the public perception that the early air missions had been a complete success. …

Minute-37:30 Ralph Epperson:
“That Book is not only about salvation. It’s about good and evil. Why? Because in the Garden of Eden, Satan offered Adam and Eve the right to decide for themselves what was right and wrong — when God told them, ‘don’t do that. Thou shalt not eat from the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,’ which means: you’re not supposed to decide what’s right and wrong. You’re supposed to listen to Me. Because when you decide, you’re going to make everything that’s wrong right.
Minute-45 Dr. Stan and then Ralph:
“I believe we should fear God. And if we don’t fear God and fear what’s going on we’re not going to keep His commandments. Why should we? What are your thoughts on that, Ralph.”
“I agree with you, Dr. Stan. Our church is no longer a flame with righteous indignation. And that’s the problem. We’re not being taught about sin and evil. I keep wondering, when are they going to start talking about being honest in your business dealing? Every time we turn around there’s more scandal…. What happened to basic morality?”
Winston Churchill led Britain to victory against the Nazi war machine, but debate continues to rage about whether he was responsible for overseeing atrocities that rival those ordered by Adolf Hitler.
History is written by the winners. Although there is lots to admire about Churchill’s bulldog spirit – and Brits are eternally grateful for his tenacious fight against the Nazis – much of Churchill’s dark past has been airbrushed out of history.
British bombing raids killed a thousand German civilians a day when World War II was already won, says the historian sparking debate on whether Churchill was a war criminal.
Winston Churchill was effectively a war criminal who sanctioned the extermination of Germany’s civilian population through indiscriminate bombing of towns and cities, an article in the country’s biggest-circulation newspaper claimed yesterday.
The morality of the Allied bombing campaign during the Second World War is still hotly debated. What should we feel about the decision to attack Dresden?
The RAF began the war with the policy of targeting enemy military or industrial targets. But then, early in 1942, that policy suddenly changed to embrace the deliberate destruction of civilians. Why?
CHURCHILL IN HIS OWN WORDS
(During first World War): “Perhaps the next time round the way to do it will be to kill women, children and the civilian population.”
Churchill on defending the morality of bombing from the air: “Now everyone’s at it. It’s simply a question of fashion – similar to that of whether short or long dresses are in.”
“I do not understand the squeamishness about the use of gas. I am strongly in favour of using poisonous gas against uncivilised tribes.”
Writing as president of the Air Council, 1919.
“It is alarming and nauseating to see Mr Gandhi, a seditious Middle Temple lawyer, now posing as a fakir of a type well known in the east, striding half naked up the steps of the viceregal palace, while he is still organising and conducting a campaign of civil disobedience, to parlay on equal terms with the representative of the Emperor-King.”
Commenting on Gandhi’s meeting with the Viceroy of India, 1931.
“I do not admit… that a great wrong has been done to the Red Indians of America, or the black people of Australia… by the fact that a stronger race, a higher grade race… has come in and taken its place.”
Churchill to Palestine Royal Commission, 1937.
“The choice was clearly open: crush them with vain and unstinted force, or try to give them what they want. These were the only alternatives and most people were unprepared for either. Here indeed was the Irish spectre – horrid and inexorcisable.”
Writing in The World Crisis and the Aftermath, 1923-31.
“The unnatural and increasingly rapid growth of the feeble-minded and insane classes, coupled as it is with a steady restriction among all the thrifty, energetic and superior stocks, constitutes a national and race danger which it is impossible to exaggerate… I feel that the source from which the stream of madness is fed should be cut off and sealed up before another year has passed.”
Churchill to Asquith, 1910.
“One may dislike Hitler’s system and yet admire his patriotic achievement. If our country were defeated, I hope we should find a champion as admirable to restore our courage and lead us back to our place among the nations.”
From his Great Contemporaries, 1937.
