Stockholm syndrome, or capture–bonding, is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors or abusers, sometimes to the point of defending them, and sometimes the feeling of love for the captor shows. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness. This Week’s Analysis:

Government Won’t Stop Spying

Utah Data Center Ready by September

US Says Syria Crossed Red Line

US China Summit Symbolic of Placating China

GOVERNMENT WON’T STOP SPYING

There is not a hint of contrition in the statements of intelligence officials as they pulled out all the old justifications for violating the 4th Amendment—to save us from terror. Gen. Keith B. Alexander, head of the National Security Agency told a Congressional committee this week that “dozens” of terror threats have been stopped thanks to the huge database of phone calls and emails the NSA has amassed. I say, “Prove it.” He also claimed that records are destroyed after 5 years, but the only files that get deleted are the remnants of information that have been sifted through already. The emails and calls that get a person on the lists of potential dissidents is never erased. When the new data center in Utah is completed this fall, they will keep everything, including all bank records, credit card and real estate data. Welcome to the Total Information Awareness system that DARPA claimed was shut down—another in a series of BIG lies.

Brandon Smith commented that,

In the past, Liberty Movement champions have been derided as “paranoid” for pointing out that there were no limitations to FISA, and that the entire nation might one day be monitored and catalogued like animals in a great technological cage. Today, the public now knows that this concern is concrete and undeniable. EVERYONE is being watched. Reports now estimate that NSA hackers harvest over 2.1 million gigabytes of data on American citizens per hour.

And, it’s not just domestic spying, the NSA is building a system to capture all digital signals from every country in the world. That can only mean that the system the US is building is ultimately intended to become a global surveillance system under a global world government. Glenn Greenwald of the UK Guardian details the nature of this global spy system.

The Guardian has acquired top-secret documents about the NSA datamining tool, called Boundless Informant, that details and even maps by country the voluminous amount of information it collects from computer and telephone networks.

The focus of the internal NSA tool is on counting and categorizing the records of communications, known as metadata, rather than the content of an email or instant message.

That isn’t true. The NSA has huge computers sifting the content and the metadata—don’t be fooled into thinking there is a difference between simply collecting the data and “not doing anything about it.” They are always doing something with the data, and names and dossiers are being sorted into various categories and lists every minute of the day.

The Boundless Informant documents show the agency collecting almost 3 billion pieces of intelligence from US computer networks over a 30-day period ending in March 2013. An NSA factsheet about the program, acquired by the Guardian, says: “The tool allows users to select a country on a map and view the metadata volume and select details about the collections against that country.”

The heatmap gives each nation a color code based on how extensively it is subjected to NSA surveillance. The color scheme ranges from green (least subjected to surveillance) through yellow and orange to red (most surveillance). Iran was the country where the largest amount of intelligence was gathered, with more than 14bn reports in that period, followed by 13.5bn from Pakistan. Jordan, one of America’s closest Arab allies, came third with 12.7bn,[—all 3 labeled as Red on the Heat Maps] Egypt fourth with 7.6bn and India fifth with 6.3bn.

But this is merely a reflection of the ease with which these nation’s systems can be penetrated, not necessarily the number of threats in the country. Jordan certainly isn’t third on the NSA target list. Allies like Germany and France are incensed that the US is spying on all their communications as well. Zerohedge reports:

German outrage over a U.S. Internet spying program has broken out ahead of a visit by Barack Obama, with ministers demanding the president provide a full explanation when he lands in Berlin next week and one official likening the tactics to those of the East German Stasi.

Interestingly, the US captures much more information from within the US than it does on Russia, China or any other nation that is a real threat to the US. Let’s look at some of the government lies and excuses on this subject:

From the Guardian story above: At a hearing of the Senate intelligence committee In March this year, Democratic senator Ron Wyden asked James Clapper, the director of national intelligence: “Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?” “No sir,” replied Clapper.

Jason Ditz of Anti-War.com derided Clapper’s attempt to defend his lies: Clapper was defiant on Sunday news shows when asked about that particular federal offense, saying he felt the question he was asked was “unfair” and that he gave the “least untruthful” lie he could think of in response. Which was still a horrible lie that he eventually got caught in, as he attempted to defend lying under oath. [how is a flat out “no” the least untruthful?”]

The Guardian again: Judith Emmel, an NSA spokeswoman, told the Guardian in a response to the latest disclosures: “NSA has consistently reported – including to Congress – that we do not have the ability to determine with certainty the identity or location of all communicants within a given communication. That remains the case.”

Emmel’s quote is misleading. It sounds like the NSA can rarely read even the metadata accurately, but in fact all she said is that the identity of a communicant sometimes evades their detection. That might be a glimmer of hope for those who know how to cover their tracks well online, but it’s hardly reassuring to the general public. NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden says the government is capturing digital communications from everyone—not just those suspected of terror. The Guardian comments on the proof Snowden showed them (and much of the good stuff hasn’t been released by the Guardian):

Other documents seen by the Guardian further demonstrate that the NSA does in fact break down its surveillance intercepts which could allow the agency to determine how many of them are from the US. The level of detail includes individual IP addresses.

The litany of government excuses to help downplay the scandal runs the gamut of 1) saying they collect data but don’t do anything with it, and 2) that oversight by the Courts and Congress guarantees that American’s privacy is still protected—really big lies:

On Friday, in his first public response to the Guardian’s disclosures this week on NSA surveillance, Barack Obama said that congressional oversight was the American peoples’ best guarantee that they were not being spied on.

Oversight is a sham. How can he say with a straight face that we are not being spied on when the government doesn’t even contest the fact that all emails and phone calls are recorded? I guess it depends on his “definition of spying.” The trouble with the idea that there is no spying if we aren’t reading what we collect is that there is no possible oversight to ensure computers aren’t reading what is collected. Certainly they never tell Congress any specifics so to the government, “oversight” means “taking our word for it!” —hardly reassuring given the litany of lies. The only safety for privacy is to ensure the government doesn’t collect data. It can’t read what it doesn’t collect.

“These are the folks you all vote for as your representatives in Congress and they are being fully briefed on these programs,” he said. Obama also insisted that any surveillance was “very narrowly circumscribed”.

Fully briefed? –Hardly. That’s another lie or misdirection. Congress is briefed only in general and is never given true information about the scope of the spying. In addition, those Congressmen and women who serve on the committee are all certified yes-men and women to government and would never challenge anything. We cannot depend on them to become whistleblowers. Besides, they are sworn never to say anything about what they learn in these briefings to the public, or even other members of Congress. With these kinds of restrictions how can illegal acts be exposed or corrected? Answer: They can’t.

Then there is the excuse that the NSA is only doing what Congress authorized in the FISA court authorization bill. Here’s the NY Times projecting the government line:

The director, Gen. Keith B. Alexander, who heads both the N.S.A. and United States Cyber Command, which runs the military’s offensive and defensive use of cyberweapons, told skeptical members of the Senate Appropriations Committee that his agency was doing exactly what Congress authorized after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

As an aside, General Alexander is the perfect yes-man to government and no stranger to black operations or lying to Congress. The notorious prison unit responsible for Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse in Baghdad was under his command. He was part of the cover-up there as well blaming the Abu Ghraib scandal on a “group of undisciplined MP soldiers.” Nonsense. These orders for torture came down from the White House and Alexander was in that chain of command.

But the administration cannot justify this under the FISA law. Jim Sensenbrenner (the notorious conservative who introduced the PATRIOT Act) said that the executive branch’s excuses about recent revelations of NSA activity are “a bunch of bunk” according to National Review.

In an interview on Laura Ingraham’s radio show Wednesday morning, the Republican congressman from Wisconsin reiterated his concerns that the administration and the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court have gone far beyond what the PATRIOT Act intended. Specifically, he said that Section 215 of the act “was originally drafted to prevent data mining” on the scale that’s occurred.

[NY Times again] General Alexander said the agency “takes great pride in protecting this nation and our civil liberties and privacy” under the oversight of Congress and the courts.

But the oversight claim is a lie. Congressman Sensenbrenner made it very clear, that “the secret nature of the FISA court has prevented appropriate congressional oversight over the NSA’s activities.”

“We aren’t trying to hide it,” he said. [Then why was it secret and why are you trying to prosecute Snowden?] “We’re trying to protect America. So we need your help in doing that. This isn’t something that’s just N.S.A. or the administration doing it on its own. This is what our nation expects our government to do for us.”

Just as the intentional leaks of 2007 about illegal surveillance led Congress to pass more laws to make some spying legal, Alexander is directly lobbying Congress to allow this total surveillance program—retroactively. As with 9/11 or the spy scandal of 2007 no one will be disciplined for violating their oath to the Constitution in this matter.

As for Alexander’s claim that all of this is legal because the FISA court authorized it, that isn’t true. When Congress established the FISA court (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) it was tasked to scrutinize CIA or NSA requests for domestic surveillance on a case by case basis and those cases had to be directly related to a terror investigation.

The FISA court does nothing to force government officials to prove the legality and origin of evidence they bring before the court—almost all of which is derived from electronic surveillance. Moreover, the FISA court has no authority from Congress to allow the wholesale collecting of all data such as during the supposed 3 month period it authorized the NSA to capture data from all Verizon phone logs.

Frankly, the NSA doesn’t invest billions in creating a huge system like PRISM just for a 3 month window of authorization by the FISA court. In other words, the court was merely providing legal cover for NSA for something they were illegally doing before, and will continue doing with our without the court’s approval. This is not oversight. This is rubber stamping government crimes.

PRISM gets its name from the physical prism lens device that is placed on fiber optic cables in order to split each signal into two identical streams—one that goes to the original destination and the other to the NSA computers. Under the PRISM program, the NSA collects information from all fiber optic communications including internet data and domestic and transatlantic phone calls on trunk lines.

Intelligence analysts already say that suspects of terror within the Middle East and Europe have started using better code words to mask their intentions or have dropped off of Facebook, Skype and Twitter altogether. But the NSA is counting on the fact that no one can operate without digital communications nowadays, so they feel the fallout will be temporary.

Meanwhile, we are getting to see who’s a shill for government by who comes out and defends this total surveillance system in the name of protecting us from terror. The two worst Republican neocons in the Senate, Peter King (NY) and Lindsey Graham (SC) are still up front defending the spying. And it also doesn’t help the cause of privacy when members of the Senate in charge of overseeing government surveillance act as shills for government.

Anti-gun Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) who chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee, tried to excuse the government’s going beyond its terror fighting mandate by citing as an example that suggested the NSA surveillance had a roll in “slowing down Iran’s nuclear program,” implying that it’s good the NSA goes beyond its limited mandate. Then she dutifully parrots what intelligence officials tell Congress in their secret oversight meetings—that the NSA “can look at the domestic calling data only if there is a reason to suspect it is actually related to Al Qaeda or to Iran… The vast majority of the records in the database are never accessed and are deleted after a period of five years. To look at or use the content of a call, a court warrant must be obtained.”

In reality, this is not true. All the data is sifted and sorted by huge supercomputers, some in real time, others after the fact. The FISA court warrant-seeking process is only done when the government wants to have the legal backing to make one of their high profile terror prosecutions. In other words, it’s legally justifying a case after the facts are gleaned illegally.

[…]

Hiding the best stuff: Wired.com also noted that neither the Guardian nor the Washington Post (who both got Snowden’s material) are revealing all:

Only five slides from the presentation have been published. The other 36 remain a mystery. Both the Guardian’s Glenn Greenwald and the Post’ s Barton Gellman have made it clear that the rest of the PowerPoint is dynamite stuff … which we’re not going to be seeing any time soon.

That’s the same problem with Wikileaks. Julian Assange made a deal with the mainstream media to allow them to sort and selectively decided what to give the public out of the leaked information. All of the really juicy secret black operations stuff is always edited out.

In summary, I feel this revelation on total surveillance by government should have been the straw that breaks the camel’s back and finally convinced people that government is simply lying to them and that the entire system is corrupt and controlled. But so far, it’s business as usual for most people, so what little hope I had in America waking up is dying.

[…]

Sadly, no more will come of such a committee investigation than the Church committee investigation of the CIA—except to bring a little more light on the subject. Sadly, I don’t think we are going to turn this around.

“Even if you’re not doing anything wrong, you’re being watched and recorded. The storage capability of these systems increases every year, consistently, by orders of magnitude, to where it’s getting to the point where you don’t have to have done anything wrong, you simply have to eventually fall under suspicion from somebody, even by a wrong call, and then they can use this system to go back in time and scrutinize every decision you’ve ever made, every friend you’ve ever discussed something with, and attack you on that basis, to sort of derive suspicion from an innocent life and paint anyone in the context of a wrongdoer.

10:46
The great fear that I have regarding the outcome for America of these disclosures is that nothing will change. People will see in the media all of these disclosures, they’ll know the lengths that government is going to to grant themselves powers, unilaterally, to create greater control over American society and global society. But they won’t be willing to take the risks necessary to stand up and fight to change things, to force their representatives to actually take a stand in their interests. And in the months ahead, the years ahead, it’s only going to get worse. Until eventually there will be a time where policies will change because the only thing that restricts the activities of the surveillance state are policy. They’ll say that… because of the crisis, the dangers that we face in the world, some new and unpredicted threat, we need more authority, we need more power, and there will be nothing the people can do at that point to oppose it. And it will be turnkey tyranny.

[science] Why is Lust Addictive? — SEX increases dopamine by 200 units (1/6 the height of a METH euphoria)

From: PBS.org

meth and the brain

One of the questions we often get is, why do people take this drug? …

Methamphetamine effects the centers of the brain that control judgment, control reward, and control memory. The most important one probably are the reward centers of the brain. When, when that part of the brain is stimulated dopamine’s released, and you experience that as pleasure. Under normal circumstances those responses occur for naturally occurring rewarding events.

Similarly if you put a rat, a male rate in a box and you give him access to a receptive female, and you allow them to have sex, at the point where they experience orgasm you get a huge release of dopamine. You see an increase of about 200 units. This rush is what feels good and what is experienced is pleasure. And this slide of course illustrates the principle that one orgasm equals two cheeseburgers.

Now drugs of abuse release dopamine. Alcohol, for example, produced a release of dopamine from about 100 units to about 200, You get a similar magnitude of an effect with nicotine. Cocaine produces a huge release of dopamine, from 100 units to about 350 units, however the mother of them all is methamphetamine. Methamphetamine you get a release from the base level [about 100 units – editor] to about 1250 units. A tremendous increase of dopamine. This produces an extreme peak of euphoria that people describe as something like they’ve never experienced and they probably never have experienced before because the brain really isn’t made to do this. And that’s why people will be attracted to it and want to take it over and over and over again. They want to produce that response.

Children as young as 10 are ‘sexting’, says study

Schoolchildren as young as 10 are routinely having sex and sending explicit pictures of themselves to classmates, a survey has revealed.

The findings show boys frequently send pictures of their genitals to female pupils and 12-year-old girls agree to boyfriends’ demands to send revealing snaps of themselves or be pictured carrying out sex acts.

One schoolteacher questioned said pupils are so pressured into sending naked photos to each other that they trawl the internet looking at child pornography to find suitable images.

The classroom survey was carried out by Michelle Barry, who works with 7,000 youngsters aged seven upwards as part of the Southampton Rape Crisis’ preventative education STAR project.

Ms Barry said: “I was gobsmacked when I asked a class of 13-year-olds if they had ever sent naked pictures of themselves and not a single hand did not go up.

Mark Dice is a media analyst, political activist, and author who, in an entertaining and educational way, gets people to question our celebrity obsessed culture, and the role the mainstream media and elite secret societies play in shaping our lives. Check out Mark’s books in paperback on Amazon.com or e-book on Kindle, iBooks, Nook, or Google Play.

Mark frequently stirs up controversy from his commentaries, protests, and boycotts, and has repeatedly been featured in major media outlets around the world.

Several of Mark’s YouTube videos have gone viral, earning him a mention on ABC’s The View, Fox News’ O’Reilly Factor, CNN, Drudge Report, TMZ.com, and other mainstream media outlets. Mark has also been featured in (or attacked in) the New York Post’s Page Six, Rolling Stone Magazine, USA Today, The New York Daily News, and in major papers in Pakistan and Iran.

Mark Dice appears in several documentary films including Invisible Empire, The 9/11 Chronicles, and has been featured on the History Channel’s Decoded, Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, the Sundance Channel’s Love/Lust: Secret Societies and more. He enjoys enlightening zombies, as he calls them, (ignorant people) about the mass media’s effect on our culture, pointing out Big Brother’s prying eyes, and exposing elite secret societies along with scumbag politicians and their corrupt political agendas. You can support Mark’s work by sending a PayPal donation to Donate@MarkDice.com or by using the Donate link on MarkDice.com.

He has called into several top-rated talk shows dozens of times, including the Sean Hannity Show, Glenn Beck, and Michael Savage, and verbally battles with the hosts on various issues since he has never been asked to be a guest on them as of yet. Audio of some of these calls are then posted online.

The term “fighting the New World Order” is used by Mark to describe some of his activities, and refers to his and others’ resistance and opposition (The Resistance) to the overall system of political corruption, illegal wars, elite secret societies, mainstream media, Big Brother and privacy issues; as well as various economic and social issues.

Dice and his supporters sometimes refer to being “awake” or “enlightened” and see their knowledge of these topics as part of their own personal Resistance to the corrupt New World Order. This Resistance involves self-improvement, self-sufficiency, personal responsibility and spiritual growth.

Mark Dice is the author of several books on current events, secret societies and conspiracies, including his newest book, Big Brother: The Orwellian Nightmare Come True which is available on Amazon.com, Kindle and Nook. While much of Mark’s work confirms the existence and continued operation of the Illuminati today, he is also dedicated to debunking conspiracy theories and hoaxes and separating the facts from the fiction; hence the “Facts & Fiction” subtitle for several of his books. He has a bachelor’s degree in communication from California State University.

If you have an iPad or Android tablet, then you can download the Kindle app and then download any of Mark’s books from the Kindle store for only $6.99 or $7.99. Some of them are also available in e-book on Google Play. Or you can get paperback copies from Amazon.com too if you prefer a physical book. They are not available in stores. A lot of work and research went into them and they’ll save you countless hours of web surfing or YouTube watching in your search for pieces of the puzzle. Your support also funds more of Mark’s videos and other operations. Equipment, software, travel, and the props all cost money, so by purchasing his paperback books and e-books, you are helping The Resistance continue and your help is greatly appreciated. Age of consent should be lowered to 13 to stop persecution of old men, says top barrister

This isn’t just in the U.K.. It’s well known that the globalists are all into this stuff. And this also includes many of the US top officials, and even the heads of our military. See the many articles in my Republicans Blackmailable category (10 posts per page, latest appear first), and this regarding the U.S. military:

I also have a ‘THEY’ couldn’t be that EVIL?? category, which will now include this post.

Age of consent should be lowered to 13 to stop persecution of old men, says top barrister

A TOP female barrister has sparked outrage after claiming the age of consent in Britain should be lowered to 13 in order to stop the “persecution of old men” in the wake of the Savile sex abuse scandal.

Lawyer Barbara Hewson’s shocking comments have been condemned by children’s charities after she dismissed child sex abuse crimes as mere “low level misdemeanours” which would not normally be prosecuted.

Describing the recent arrests of multiple celebrities like Stuart Hall under Operation Yewtree as a “grotesque spectacle,” Hewson bizarrely likened what she saw as the post-Jimmy Savile “witch-hunt” to Soviet-era Russia. …

As well as calling for the age of consent to be lowered to 13, Ms Hewson also sparked anger saying guaranteed anonymity to sexual abuse complainants should be removed, and the statute of limitations reformed to prevent historic allegations being prosecuted.

Ten civilization-shaping trends for 2013 that are driving us into social and spiritual crisis

Wednesday, May 01, 2013
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger
Editor of NaturalNews.com (See all articles…)

Most people feel that a time of great change is upon us. But what kind of change is unfolding, exactly? …

#1) The rise of human engineered genetics

Abandoning the seeds of nature, human scientists continue to play God with plants, animals and even humans. In doing so, they challenge the laws of nature and have already given rise to “superbugs” and “superweeds.”

Superbugs are resistant to all known chemicals and drugs, and superweeds are resistant to all known chemical herbicides. Genetic pollution is rampant. No one knows where this takes us, but many understand that such reckless science puts the future of life at risk across our entire planet.

#2) Reality escapism via gaming, social networks and computer-human interface devices such as Google Glass, VR helmets

Turning to techno-immersion devices, more and more people are escaping reality and “living” in virtual worlds, or living in “augmented” versions of the real world. Though such devices and social networks promise connection, they actually deliver isolation, social detachment and depression.

As these devices become more capable of sensory immersion, the problems they foment will only become more extreme, leading to extreme isolationism, escapism and truly delusional life experiences. People will live and die in “the Matrix,” so to speak.

On the up side, immersion devices have tremendous therapeutic value and training value. They could theoretically be used to teach the fundamentals of liberty, consciousness, economics and philosophy, but history has shown they will most likely be exploited by corporate interests and abused by users to escape reality rather than enhance it. (Just look at where television ended up taking us…)

#3) The demonization of normalcy

Any idea that used to be considered “normal” is being increasingly demonized. …

Ideas like “we should be responsible for our own actions” are becoming increasingly alien across society. Even a heterosexual lifestyle is now being thought of as “abnormal” by the new metro-sexual trendies. Everything normal and natural is being marginalized and replaced with radical, anti-consciousness ideas such as “it’s okay to murder babies right after they are born, just call it a post-birth abortion.”

Normalcy is the new “closet.” If you are normal, hide it away, lest you be incessantly berated by your peers for not conforming to their “new wave” of freakish ideas.

#4) The rise of “omission journalism”

Journalism is increasingly becoming more about what is omitted from the news rather than what’s in it. As mainstream media institutions pursue agendas of social shaping rather than reporting factual news, they use the power of omission to make sure the people aren’t aware of the most socially-relevant stories.

For example, in our modern time there are two huge stories the media isn’t reporting because it’s practicing “omission journalism.” Those stories are the abortion murder trials and DHS bullet stockpiling.

When watching the news, an informed observer must now ask himself, “What are they NOT showing me?” Therein lie the real stories that will never be reported.

#5) The “Idiocracy” effect of self-selected procreation that multiplies the number of people least qualified to advance humanity

I call this the “Idiocracy” effect, named after the movie of the same name (by Mike Judge). It simply means that humans who are least qualified to advance humanity are the most likely to have the most offspring.

Put simply, smart people have fewer babies, but the idiots procreate in massive numbers. This ultimately skews the demographic profile into a society filled with people of very low cognitive function who nevertheless represent the voting majority. From there, the downfall of society and the rise of the idiocracy is only a matter of time. …

#6) The censorship and criminalization of knowledge

Today, publishing truthful knowledge about nutritional supplements, colloidal silver or natural medicine is considered a criminal activity. Any coherent physics analysis of WTC building 7 is also met with sheer derision.

One of the trademarks of the insane society into which we have already entered is the censorship and criminalization of knowledge. Any who speak the truth, who attempt to preserve knowledge, or who counter lies with truth are immediately branded whackos, conspiracy theorists or terrorists.

The purpose of this ploy is to eliminate all knowledge from society’s memory so that reality can be instantly reshaped at will by the governing tyrants. A population which has no connection with actual history, knowledge of natural medicine or even awareness of their natural rights is far easier to control than a well-educated population with a sense of factual context.

#7) Selective dehumanization: The abandonment of any value for the life of a newborn child or any adult who disagrees with you

Dehumanization is a key trend to watch. You see it right now with the idea that sufficiently young children have no “life” and no value and can be terminated as a “choice.” You also see it with the increasingly radical rhetoric in the mainstream media, where guests on CNN and other broadcasts call for the violent shooting of anyone who disagrees with them.

To refer to people as “zombies” is to dehumanize them. We must be extremely careful when invoking this term if it is not clear that the context is satire or comedy.

#8) The “theaterization” of narratives for political gain (false flags)

Government is becoming less a body that governs and more an institution that can only be called a “theater production entity.”

Violent, public theater productions are increasingly carried out under the pretense that they are actual events which demand increased government power to prevent. Because terror has the most emotional and viral impact across society, terror events are chosen as the most economical forms of government theater to achieve a desired social or political goal.

The use of false flags and government theater will increase….

#9) The end of privacy: Government tracking and cross-referencing of every uttered word, email, web page visit, photos and electronic communications

The rise of total government surveillance — as is already under construction in the United States — promises to record, profile and cross-index every uttered word, email, web activity, phone text and electronic transmission.

This capability will very quickly be abused by political forces to track and destroy political enemies while suppressing freedom of thought across society. Certain words will become illegal to utter… even to type into a word processing application that stores data in “the cloud.”

The surveillance state is what makes the police state fatal, because it transforms a police state from a group of bumbling idiots into an informed domestic police force with specific reachable targets. A police state without surveillance is just a bunch of guys standing around with guns. A police state with surveillance is a totalitarianistic nightmare.

#10) Rewriting of history

Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it, and the growing power of the state does not want private citizens to have any knowledge of actual history.

Already, the revisionists are hard at work. In recent memory, for example, we’ve seen gun control pushers on the left argue that Hitler never enacted gun control laws before rounding up disarmed Jews and murdering them in gas chambers.

We’ve also seen new efforts in popular media to demonize America’s Founding Fathers and paint them as discredited terrorists. Other efforts are under way to disparage the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. These are all efforts to eradicate history and force citizens to forget where they came from and what it took to establish freedom in the first place.

Much of the rewriting of history is accomplished through popular media: TV shows, movies and social media.

The Suffering

These trends will ultimately lead us to an era that I call “The Suffering.”

This era will be characterized by mass starvation, pandemics, financial catastrophe, extreme social unrest, global infertility, biological freakism, mental insanity and intense suffering.

This suffering will be born out of detachment from self, from nature, from consciousness and from the Creator. Detachment is the common theme that will haunt society during the suffering.

The Suffering may last a decade or even a generation. But once the suffering has been sufficient, out of it will come en era of spiritual renaissance…. [I partly agree and partly disagree with Mike here. I do believe there will be a great spiritual enlightenment revival, but it will be too late to stop the fall of America and the one-world government. Ron Paul may have been our last chance in 2008, when he was rejected by the evangelicals the first time. – Editor]

The Consciousness movement

I predict this will see the rise of a powerful “consciousness movement” that will grow from humble beginning as a minor social movement to an unstoppable political movement. Its basis will be philosophical: that humans are conscious, free-will beings with a soul that exists beyond the physical.

This simple truth will become the basis for a movement that inherently combines compassion with personal responsibility, espousing both conscious connection with all living things while simultaneously recognizing the individual responsibility to make something of yourself. It will revolutionize both science and spirituality while finding common ground in both. …

I agree with Mike Adams. We must keep our hands clean, and not support evil.

At minute-23 into this discussion, Root gives some investment advice, and recommends investing in Big Pharma, knowing how unethical they are, under the justification that he’ll make money so he can take care of his family. “The end justifies the means”“the morality of an action is based solely on the outcome of that action and not on the action itself.”

Beware of “the love of money,” which the Bible calls “the root of all evil.” I think it’s an actual demon that drives people to do immoral things.

This guy is part of the problem. We must be free! : )

Jeremy Scahill on how OBAMA GETS A FREE PASS for pursuing policies that infuriated President Bush’s critics: “Unfortunately, a lot of LIBERALS have CHECKED IN THEIR CONSCIENCES at the door. That is not very healthy for our democratic process.”

From: US debates between civil liberties and war on terror

James Cartwright, a retired general who was until two years ago deputy chair of the joint chiefs of staff, said on Tuesday that “I am worried that we have lost the moral high ground” as a result of excessive use of drone strikes. “We risk being in a position where we are generating more problems than we have solved,” he said. … “The drone strikes are the face of America to many,” he said.

Critics of Mr Obama say while he has toned down some of the rhetoric about the “war on terror”, he has continued its policies.

Jeremy Scahill, the author of a new book and film, Dirty Wars, on America’s use of covert methods to track down and kill alleged terrorists, says Mr Obama largely gets a free pass for pursuing policies that infuriated Mr Bush’s critics. “Unfortunately, a lot of liberals have checked in their consciences at the door – that is not very healthy for our democratic process,” he said.

The War On Terror Is Over. America Lost.

By James Corbett

April 24, 2013

It has often been observed that the war on terror is unwinnable. After all, how could a war on an abstract noun ever have its “Mission Accomplished” moment? It is, according to this wisdom, meant to drag on forever.

Just because a war can’t be won, however, doesn’t mean it can’t be lost. The truth is that the war on terror is over. And America has lost.

Just look at the images of the Watertown lockdown. A city under a supposedly “voluntary” lockdown that was in fact enforced by bands of roving SWAT team members going door to door, forcibly removing people from their own homes at gunpoint. Whatever the use of the word “voluntary” might mean in this case, I defy anyone to differentiate these images from a martial law scenario.

And yet, amazingly, the media does not show us images of enraged Bostonians. It does not interview those who were treated this way by the SWAT teams. It does not ask those people directly affected what they think, or report on dissent. Instead, we are shown images of mindless celebrations orchestrated to the score of that age-old chant of the mob that has lost all capacity to reason critically: “USA! USA! USA!” Surely it is a mob far under the hypnotic spell of the mainstream fear programming that can cheer the destruction of their own rights. It is even more perverse that this destruction is being done in the name of two bumbling college-age boys who, it must be stressed, have yet to be proven guilty of anything.

The irony seems to be lost on much of the American population that scenes like these are precisely what the all-pervasive “terrorist” boogeymen supposedly want: a people so enslaved to the fear of their own shadow that the actions of two hapless misfits can cause such chaos and the disruption of so many people’s lives. This irony is certainly NOT lost on a government that has tried its utmost to make people afraid of the so-called terrorist threat over the past decade.

Yes, the terrorists hate you for your freedom. So who are the terrorists? And who is trying to take away your freedoms?

If terrorism is the use of violence to further political ends, then the real terrorists by definition are the ones who are ramping up the fear after each and every incident in order to shape the public’s perception. Has some shadowy group of scary bearded men with turbans really caused the American population to cower in fear at the first sign of a homemade explosive anywhere in the country? Or has the government and their cronies in the media primed the population to be afraid of something that, statistically, is less likely to kill someone on American soil than a bee sting?

In the end, the questions answer themselves. All that is needed is reflection over what we have witnessed play out over the past week: an Orwellian two minutes of hate directed not at these boys– about whom almost nothing is known except for their previous contact with the FBI–but at the ghost that has been haunting America’s nightmares ever since the Bush Administration conjured them into existence.

These ghosts will continue to haunt the American population until they, and their like-minded allies around the world, choose to wake up from the nightmare. After all, you can’t win a fight against a ghost. You can lose one, however. The events of the past week have proven that much.
