THE MAUI FIRESTORM
I have received tens of emails buying into the claims that the Maui fires were started by Direct Energy Weapons (DEW), based on stories circulating on the internet purportedly showing lasers focused on these areas. But even though such weapons do exist, the ones powerful enough to start fires are invisible to the naked eye, being in the infrared spectrum. And, there is a tremendous amount of attenuation over long distances through the atmosphere which prohibits their use from space on earth targets. Iain Boyd, director of the Center for National Security Initiatives at the University of Colorado, Boulder said, “Modern lasers with power that is high enough to start any kind of fire operate in the infrared and so cannot be seen by the naked eye.”
So, all the photos used as “proof” have either been photo-shopped or taken from some other time and place. Some are the result of a camera phenomenon called “lens flare.” The NY Post, which is not hostile to legitimate conspiracies, was able to explain away all the photos that are circulating as “proof” of DEW—including the dramatic photo of a red shaft of light coming down into a cloud of smoke (which was photo shopped from a rocket launch in California).
Another video sent to me showing bright flashes of light within the smoke and fire, is actually a known phenomenon in raging fires combined within high humidity conditions where the smoke columns produce internal lightning strikes.
As for taller trees surviving the fire without their foliage being burned, that is a known phenomenon of fires driven by high winds where the flames stay lower to the ground. That was also observed in the wind driven California fires, leading to a lot of erroneous DEW conspiracies as well.
Dennis Prager (Jewish, not Christian) refuses to admit that lust is sinful — thoughts. Only an adulterous act can be sinful and evil, never lustful thoughts, he believes.
Compare to what Jesus warned in the strongest terms in Matthew 5:

If people were more interested in the TRUTH and what’s right than what people think of them, this would have stopped long ago.
TRUTH MATTERS!
The concept of archetypes leads us to a key aspect of Peterson’s message, and a source of a major point of controversy, which refers to the nature and the source of the differences between men and women. The postmodern-sociological view is that humans are very plastic and much of the differences between men and women are the result of social norms and constructed realities.
In contrast, there are evolutionary psychological views that view men and women having different psychosocial architectures that result in different tendencies, abilities, and interests. Peterson believes that the idea that sex/gender differences are wholly constructed by social norms to be ridiculous. He argues that both theory and data point to important differences in a number of key domains. Men are more likely to be aggressive (especially physically), dominant, and interested in things (e.g., tools and engineering projects), whereas women are more likely to be agreeable, nurturing and interested in people. This is not completely fixed (i.e., it is malleable to some extent), but nor is it completely constructed by modern social norms.
This idea is important because it relates to a key point he makes about outcomes. We should NOT expect, according to this view, equal outcomes between men and women in all contexts. For example, we should expect to see more men interested in mechanical engineering and more women interested in early childhood education. And it means that if we see women underrepresented in engineering, we should not automatically conclude that it is a function of a sexist culture (as the famous Damore Google Memo incident makes clear), any more than we should presume that the relative infrequency of men in early childhood education is a consequence of a form of discrimination.

The key point that is missed here is the following: Women as a group tend to act out of their feelings, and respond to short term solutions, not the long term consequences. They vote accordingly. It is no coincidence that Black Lives Matter, the Teachers Unions, and Democrat Party are dominated by women. They can feel good about helping “poor victims” (including themselves) and not be concerned about the long term consequences. The founding fathers gave the vote to landowning men for a reason. They had a stake in the future and tended to vote using reason, not feelings. It goes without saying that there are great and rational women, just as there are effeminate, irrational men. It’s all on the bell curve. However I cannot say that giving women the right to vote was a good thing. History has proven the contrary.

Oh Liz !!!! I interviewed dozens of women when I ran for office in Hawaii in 2014 . Every single one said their most important issues were not taxes economics preserving our rights no . The issues most important were gay marriage and Right to choose . So maybe a voter proficiency test would be in order . Not a very informed bunch . Try it some time . Ask women about their most important issues . …
