OBAMACARE REFORM AND REPEAL DEAD IN THE WATER

Sadly, even though nominal Republicans control both the House and the Senate, they can’t muster a majority to replace Obamacare nor repeal it. The latter attempt was on center stage this week in the Senate. As NBC gloated,

The Senate yesterday once again voted down a measure to repeal Obamacare. NBC’s Leigh Ann Caldwell: “Senate Republicans delivered another blow in their effort to dismantle the Affordable Care Act when they failed to pass a repeal of the Obama-era law on Wednesday afternoon. The vote, which is one of many expected during the ongoing health care debate, only garnered the support of 45 Republicans, short of the 50-votes necessary. Sens. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., Susan Collins, R-Maine, Dean Heller, R-Nev., and John McCain, R-Ariz., and Rob Portman, R-Ohio, Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and surprisingly Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., the chair of the Senate Health Committee, joined all Democrats in voting against it. The defeat eliminates the chances of Congress sending a nearly-full repeal of the law to President Donald Trump to sign.”

NBC does bring up the massive media campaign the Left has created to overwhelm Republicans with fear of cutting Obamacare subsidized benefits:

Health care opponents have spent $15 million on ads opposing the Senate GOP legislation, while supporters haven’t spent a dime: As for the ad spending in the health-care fight, here’s what one of us has written: “The Republican senators whose votes are crucial to the fate of health care in America have faced a $15 million barrage of TV advertising from outside groups opposing the GOP legislation — and no air cover from any group backing the bills.

According to ad-buying tracker Advertising Analytics, groups opposing the GOP health care push have spent $14.8 million since May on TV ads targeting 13 key senators, with even more ad buys rolling in daily as the debate in the Senate reaches fever pitch. No groups have run ads in those states in support of the ever-evolving Republican legislation to repeal and replace parts or all of Obamacare.”

In response and out of obvious frustration, Trump loyalists issued threats against those RINO Republicans who even back debate on the repeal issue. This backfired immediately as the targeted liberals ran to their buddies in the media to complain about the threats:

The Alaska Dispatch News says that Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke called Alaska’s two senators to warn them that Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s “no” votes on health care had put the state’s future with the administration in jeopardy.

As for that news from Alaska — that Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke reportedly threatened that Sen. Murkowski’s “no” votes could have consequences for the state — it likely will launch, at a minimum, an inspector general investigation. It’s not insignificant that the state’s other senator, Dan Sullivan, talked to Alaska media about the threat. Sullivan has been a reliable “yes” vote for Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Whoever thought up the idea of threatening Alaska over its single liberal Senator needs a lesson in political reality. These kinds of threats only work on conservatives—not dedicated Left/liberals who have the press on their side.

Thursday night, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made a last ditch effort to repeal by submitting a “skinny repeal” bill two hours before a midnight vote. The bill would do the following:

Repeal the individual mandate

Repeal the employer mandate

Increase caps on tax-free contributions to health savings accounts

Repeal the medical device tax

Defund Planned Parenthood

Liberal Republicans who have stood in the way of every repeal attempt would only support this bill if House Speaker Paul Ryan agreed to hold an immediate conference committee to work out the differences between the House bill and the “skinny repeal” bill which they don’t want to become law “as is.” The conferees from both House and Senate can change the bill at will and then it is presented to both houses for an “yes or no” vote—no amendments allowed. The Left/Liberal Republicans were hoping to control the conference process in their favor.

But because they could not guarantee the outcome, Sen. John McCain cast the deciding “no” vote at nearly 2am in the morning, along with Leftist Republicans Susan Collins and Lisa Murkosky, defeating the bill 51 to 49. McCain’s legacy will go down, like John Roberts, as the Republican that gave us Obamacare. VP Pence was on hand to break the tie if necessary. Sen. McConnell finally conceded that the Republicans failed and now it was the Democrats turn to present some new proposal. Why should they? They already have Obamacare.

US MISSILE DEFENSE LACKING

Finally, another article on the latest missile defense technology is pertinent to the US ability to stop Kim Jong-Un from following through with his limited ability to send a missile to Hawaii or Alaska. The British Daily Mail takes a look at the new “state-of-the-art Navy vessel that’s designed to shoot down Kim Jong-Un’s ballistic missiles before they start World War Three.” There are errors in this article, which I will point out.

A state-of-the-art navy vessel designed to intercept ballistic missiles is set to be tested later this month. The MV Pacific Collector detects the missile via GPS [This is in error. GPS doesn’t detect missile launches, although other military satellites can.] and shoots out a vehicle which smashes into a warhead in mid-flight to disable it. Known as ground-based mid-course defense, the ship is in port at Aloha Tower in Hawaii for a key upcoming ballistic missile defense test.

The news comes as North Korea test-launched a ballistic missile that flew for half an hour and reached an altitude of 1,240 miles before landing in the Sea of Japan – a flight pattern that could indicate a new type of missile.

The only thing new about this is that US experts are saying this latest ballistic missile is the first fully home developed rocket by North Korea that doesn’t rely on foreign rocket engines. How they can tell that from photographs or rocket telemetry is a mystery to me.

Admiral Harry Harris, head of US Pacific Command, warned Congress that the country’s leader, Kim Jong Un, ‘is clearly in a position to threaten Hawaii today’. Currently, the US has 36 ground-based interceptors placed in Alaska and California to theoretically protect the US from a nuclear missile attack. That number will increase to 44 this year.

However, in December, a Pentagon weapons testing office rated the $40 billion system as having low reliability. The ground-based system has a record of nine out of 17 successful intercepts since 1999, or a 53 percent success rate.

One of the problems with this kind of missile system is that it uses a “kinetic” warhead— essentially a big hunk of highly dense material (depleted Uranium, etc.) which has to make direct contact with the incoming missile to destroy it. It is not an explosive warhead that can disable a target even during a near miss. [like Russia’s – editor]

I suspect the US continues using these kinds of “hit vehicles” because they don’t want to really stop a pre-emptive strike by Russia and China, who are developing maneuvering warheads. I do think, however, that current US ABM interceptors could stop several of North Korea’s plain Jane ballistic missiles.

TRUMP BACKING DOWN ON NORTH KOREA–FOR NOW

Naive US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, claims that Chinese pressure on North Korea is working. She’s merely repeating what was presented at the Senate briefing at the White House South auditorium this week. It was an hour briefing led by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of Defense James Mattis, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Joseph Dunford, and Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats. None are high level intelligence officials so it was all second-hand information.

Senators who oppose Trump, like John McCain and Lindsey Graham and all the Democrats claimed they learned “nothing new.” Many Senators on certain committees get constant intelligence briefings as a matter of course, so obviously they aren’t going to learn much new.

But despite the disparaging remarks from Democrats, there was something new in the briefing, which was highlighted by the anti-Trump The Daily Beast.

“We want to solve this through political or economic measures,” a senior administration official [said] ….any unilateral strike would likely lead to a North Korean counter-strike on U.S. allies South Korea and Japan—both within artillery or missile range of North Korea—as well as threatening tens of thousands of U.S. troops stationed in the Pacific.

“We want to bring Kim Jong-Un to his senses, not to his knees,” said Adm. Harry Harris, Commander of U.S. Pacific Command, at a House Armed Services Committee hearing Wednesday. He repeated the administration mantra that “all options are on the table,” but the tone had decidedly shifted from President Donald Trump’s earlier provocative tweets.

The U.S. might lobby to put North Korea back on the list as a state sponsor of terror as one of many options to isolate the defiant Asian nation. It had been removed in 2008 under previous negotiations with the Bush administration.

“It’s clear we are in a phase where unless North Korea takes a more provocative action, attacks our allies, attacks us directly, this is a diplomatic phase,” Democratic Sen. Chris Coons, of Delaware, told The Daily Beast outside the White House after the meeting.

This means Trump is backing down from his vow to disarm North Korea and stop its constant provocations. However, in a wide ranging interview with Reuters, Trump seemed to hint that he thought war with North Korea was a very real possibility:

“There is a chance that we could end up having a major, major conflict with North Korea. Absolutely,” Trump said. “We’d love to solve things diplomatically, but it’s very difficult,” he added.

Trump continued to promote his naive assessment of China’s Premier Xi Jingpin as a wonderful person, and repeating the assurance that China has told NK not to do any more nuclear tests. My takeaway from this is that Trump is going to let this play out diplomatically, but that he’s skeptical (as he should be) and fully intends to use military action to stop NK’s nuclear and missile development, even if that means NK will respond by going to war with SK—which would draw in the US.

That means that war isn’t imminent but that it is coming sooner tha[n] when China will be ready to join in. Whether or not they will becomes the big question. If they do, we’ll have WWIII early than I expected, if not, there will have to be another trigger event for WWIII later on when China and Russia are ready.

The sanctions Trump is proposing are tougher than ever before, but only in stages, which indicates it’s going to take time to play out: cutoff of oil supplies and isolating NK from all international banking and internet connectivity. There won’t be any food or medical sanctions as they put on Iran, for “humanitarian reasons.” Wasn’t Iran worthy of humanitarian exceptions?

Heretofore, NK has relied on China to bypass any sanctions, but for now at least China appears to play along with the sanctions. But I’m still skeptical. Either China plans to cheat, which would be hard for the US to detect, or it will comply for a period of time to buy more time and try and get Kim to shut down the hostile rhetoric.

I think this does confirm that China really isn’t ready to go to war on behalf of NK, and is determined to make sure NK remains in check for the next few years. Frankly, I’m surprise at just how reactionary Kim Jong-Un has been lately. In response to Trump’s interview, NK said it has no intention of stopping its nuclear and missile programs. Kim seems to be aiming for a bruising war. If it’s all bluster in order to save face with the communist party radicals in NK, that’s one thing, but no one’s going to believe Kim is capable of compromise is he doesn’t tone down the threats. Personally, I think Trump is being suckered into a delay in taking out Kim. I feel the conflict with Kim is inevitable and the sooner he is removed, the better. For each year’s delay, NK only gets stronger.

The bottom line: War with NK is inevitable, but it may or may not lead to WWIII depending on China. There is now a shorter window to prepare….

BILL O’REILLY FORCED OUT AT FOX

Bill O’Reilly, the most popular and widely watched news commentator on cable television has been forced to resign at Fox News because of multiple charges of sexual harassment from women at Fox News. While O’Reilly has continually denied all charges, it’s hard to believe that denial given the reported $13 million Fox News has paid out to settle multiple lawsuits. His ouster follows that of Fox News Chief Roger Ailes who cost Fox $35 million in out of court settlements. That’s a lot of money to pay for tolerating sexual predators in house.

While many conservatives are upset with Fox for firing O’Reilly, I’m not one of them and not at all surprised, either. I always found O’Reilly arrogant and offensive to anyone who disagreed with him. He also had a near perpetual smirk on his face which is telling about the less-than-honest personality deep within. He was an inveterate conspiracy denier, which also put him on my bad list of “wolves in sheep’s clothing” among so-called “conservative” commentators.

That said, there is nothing worse than a conservative hypocrite who is a “luthario” —someone who is always on the hunt to seduce women. That’s the description that best fits what former staff and presenters at Fox have said here and here. And, remember, these aren’t the ones subjected to the worst advances of O’Reilly who by their settlement agreement must remain silent. Kristin Powers relates this:

Former Fox News political analyst Kirsten Powers told CNN’s Cooper that she complained about inappropriate comments O’Reilly allegedly made, but was told by then-Fox News chief Roger Ailes that he couldn’t do anything because O’Reilly made too much money for the channel.

She said that O’Reilly’s downfall at the network was ‘stunning because Bill O’Reilly was Fox News. ‘He had so much power there and it was sort of unthinkable that he would ever leave there except on his own terms.’

O’Reilly’s dismissal came from the very top, from the two heirs of Rupert Murdoch, Lachlan and James. Both were also instrumental in ousting Roger Ailes, who was long protected by Rupert. Now they have dropped the hammer on O’Reilly who was protected by Ailes until his ouster. Sadly, O’Reilly walks away with a golden parachute of $25M.

The question for Fox is, will it’s advertisers who bailed out over the O’Reilly scandal return. I think they will because Fox fans, addicted to all-day cable news, really have nowhere else to go. Fox News is a $90 million operation and its nearest competitor, Chris Ruddy’s NewsMax is second at only $10M according to estimates. But Fox will have to scramble to replace lost income since it has now lost its two biggest stars, Megyn Kelly, who is still trying to find a place on mainstream NBC daytime talk shows, and Bill O’Reilly.

Neither are a big loss to conservatives, in my opinion. Kelly was only an occasional conservative when it served her purposes at Fox. She now showing her liberal bent at NBC. O’Reilly was always a RINO conservative, having supported government registration of guns, the Paris climate change agreement and opposed the death penalty— positions out of step with real conservatives. Fox also continues to have a big draw in Sean Hannity, but he too is a conspiracy denier, which denies Fox listeners a crucial understanding our battle with the dark side of government.

Tucker Carlson has the good fortune of being the one to replace O’Reilly at the top spot in prime time. I like Carlson a lot and find that he’s a breath of fresh air compared to all the rest. Carlson never comes across as arrogant and dismissive of others as did O’Reilly and sometimes Hannity, who also has a huge ego.

Fox clearly has some rebuilding to do. It bends over backward to put on a lot of Left-liberals on the air for “balance.” –So much so, that you hear a lot of bad information on the network. Conservatives only tolerate this because they expect to hear some more conservative analysis (most of the time) from O’Reilly, Hannity and Carlson. As the NY Times said,

No two people did more to build Fox News Channel into a powerful cultural-political force than Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly… Mr. O’Reilly quickly climbed to the top of the cable ratings, then pulled the rest of the network along with him as he became one of the biggest stars in television news history.

In so doing, he empowered Mr. Ailes to build Fox News into more than America’s No. 1 cable news network. Much more significantly, Mr. O’Reilly helped Mr. Ailes turn it into the beating heart of a new, populist conservative movement, one that reshaped the political landscape while making its parent company, 21st Century Fox, billions.

I think that last comment is important. Fox News has never been truly conservative or dedicated to liberty—not with a globalist like Rupert Murdoch as owner. It’s populist like Trump and rode the wave of anti-Obama Left-liberalism to the top. Now those billions are partially in jeopardy, but I don’t think Fox will lose its number one spot—all the rest of cable news is just too bad to listen to in comparison.

Skousen: WWIII Timing: China’s nuclear submarine superfactory soon building 10-12 at one time – “This adds to my prognostication that China isn’t ready yet to fight WWIII with the US”

From: Joel Skousen’s World Affairs Brief, 4/21/17

It was reported this week by nextbigfuture.com that China is going to start multiple production lines to speed up the deployment of nuclear submarines.

Western production lines for the most part can only build one submarine at a time, and only the US is capable of building two submarines simultaneously, but China is now capable of building four submarines at one time.

China already has at least four type 094/094A ballistic missile submarines and at least five Type 093/093G attack submarines, so it is speculated that the new facility is to build the successor third-generation classes of Type 096 ballistic missile submarines and Type 095 attack submarines. The new submarines will be built using modular fabrication techniques. The projection is made that Chinese nuclear submarine production will double its rate within two to three years.

China currently has about three submarine production lines and can build 5 to 6 submarines at one time. This would mean in three years China could be building ten to twelve submarines at one time.

This adds to my prognostication that China isn’t ready yet to fight WWIII with the US.

Trump’s Recklessness Changes Skousen’s WWIII Timing – Trump Threatens Military Action Against North Korea – Possible Scenario #3: Trump strikes North Korean missile sites, and North Korea invades South Korea in response. The US has to use tactic nukes to stop the massive invasion of over 2 million North Koreans, and China responds in kind by striking the US military forces with a pre-emptive nuclear missile strike, joined by Russia

With Donald Trump being snookered so easily into attacking Syria,
I’m very much worried he will now attack North Korea.

TRUMP THREATENS MILITARY ACTION AGAINST NORTH KOREA

For years I’ve thought that the US ought to pre-emptively strike North Korea’s nuclear and missile sites before she gets too dangerous to handle without full scale war. No nation has been more aggressive in attacking its neighbors and threatening the world than North Korea, a virtual prison nation. But unlike its aggressive and constant threat toward Iran, which doesn’t even have a nuclear weapon yet, NK has always been treated permissively, for reasons I will explain shortly.

The United States, under globalist advisors, has continued to play the role of the sucker in its weak attempts to induce NK to give up its nuclear weapons program. Signing one agreement after another, the US acted as if it was powerless to make NK dismantle its nuclear program. In each disarmament agreement, the North Koreans have cheated and yet the West fulfilled its part of the agreement, including food aid and oil shipments.

After three major failed agreements you would think the West would finally realize that North Korea’s nuclear program will never be relinquished through negotiations. But it isn’t stupidity or blind optimism that has driven globalist policy—it is the knowledge that NK is China’s trigger for WWIII, a war the globalists want, and that’s why they have never been serious about stopping NK. They want that trigger preserved. And what better trigger than a perceived “crazy man” Kim Jong-un, so neither China or Russia get the blame.

North Korea tested another ICBM this week, landing in the Sea of Japan. That got president Trump’s attention, and Japan’s too. NK is in a state of constant development of solid fueled long-range rockets though they are reluctant to show the West anything but short and medium range launches. Launching a missile into the sea at medium range makes it difficult for the US to determine the missile’s accuracy since only North Korea knows the coordinates of the intended target area.

In advance of his meeting Thursday with Chinese President XI Jinping, Trump told the UK Financial Times, “If China is not going to solve North Korea, we will. That is all I am telling you.” The White House added that “the clock has now run out” on North Korea’s nuclear program and that “all options are on the table” —a not-so-subtle code phrase for “military action.”

What kind of action? General Jack Keane said that bombing North Korea’s nuclear facilities “may be the only option left”. But that’s not true. The US could also shoot down future missile tests, especially ones that are heading toward the Sea of Japan and deny NK the test results.

So the tensions are clearly escalating in the Far East, and China loves to join in and assert its dominance. China responded to the Trump saber rattling with a statement that, “It will safeguard the security and stability of its Northeast area at all costs,” referring to both its territorial claims on all of the China Sea as well as client state North Korea. Tensions between the US and NK are at the highest point ever.

North Korea Serious about Threats to US:

Lester Holt reported to NBC News that

A senior North Korean defector has told NBC News that the country’s ‘desperate’ dictator is prepared to use nuclear weapons to strike the United States and its allies. Thae Yong Ho is the most high profile North Korean defector in two decades, meaning he is able to give a rare insight into the secretive, authoritarian regime.

According to Thae, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is “desperate in maintaining his rule by relying on his [development of] nuclear weapons and ICBM.” He was using an acronym for intercontinental ballistic missiles – a long range rocket that in theory would be capable of hitting the U.S.

The thing which moderates this dire news is that North Korea has not yet successfully tested a full nuclear warhead in operational mode, and many of its missiles have failed in test launches. US military experts, which discounting North Korea as an imminent threat do believe this unstable country is a long-term threat.

How Dangerous Are Kim’s Nuclear Weapons?

Not very, to be frank. North Korea has never tested a nuclear warhead atop a missile, so even the North Koreans don’t know how accurate their technology is. Even if it does work, North Korea does not possess maneuvering warheads [so they can be shot down, unlike Russia’s – editor] and it has a very limited number of warheads and ballistic missiles to launch against medium range US targets in Guam or Hawaii.

While the US has a fairly limited anti-ballistic missile shield, North Korea has so few long range missiles and nuclear warheads that a couple of standard anti-ballistic missiles (THAAD interceptors or Aegis Missile systems) could stop the one or two long range missiles NK could put into the upper atmosphere against US targets. A handful of missiles is pretty easy for the US to detect and destroy. Only nations that have hundreds of missiles firing simultaneously can get through the US protective umbrella—and that means Russia and China.

So it’s not the NK nuke threat that is the real worry, rather what China and Russia would do in support of North Korea.

A New Warning: I have long said that I didn’t think China would unleash NK to start WWIII until the next decade because Russia and China are in the midst of a major rearmament, which won’t be complete until the 2020-2024 range. Obviously, they would prefer to be fully ready before launching a war.

The globalists, on the other hand, would prefer a war earlier rather than later, but they can’t make it look like they started this war, so they have worked for 30 years to simply facilitate our enemy’s arsenals, transferring military and scientific technology to both China and Russia. Much of those transfers have been done courtesy of the US Commerce Department. Much has also been done through Israel. We sell our top technology to Israel and they sell it to the Russians and Chinese.

With the coming of Donald Trump, I suspect that the globalists may try and kill two birds with one stone: First, let Trump start this war by striking North Korea’s nuclear program and 2) let Trump take the blame which will cost him the next election and forever taint him as the guy who started WWIII.

In summary, with Donald Trump being snookered so easily into attacking Syria, I’m very much worried he will now attack North Korea, leading him down a path he vowed not to go—intervening militarily around the world. I suspect his globalist advisors may be setting him up for an attack on North Korea’s nuclear weapons program, that could provoke a Chinese nuclear response against the US, which our anti-missile systems could not control.

Here are the likely or possible scenarios:

1) North Korea sees Trump threatening and launches its first nuclear tipped missile at Guam or Hawaii, to make good on his bluster against the US. The US intercepts the missile and retaliates against NK nuclear and missile sites. The world sees this as fully justified and China cannot retaliate. WWIII doesn’t start yet, and the NK threat is temporarily abated.

2) Trump does a pre-emptive cruise missile strike against North Korean nuclear sites and/or missile launch sites. [I’m not against that, except that it should have been done years ago when China was not in a position to retaliate.] Even though China can retaliate, it doesn’t do so because it isn’t ready yet for WWIII. The NK nuke and missile threat is gone for now but NK, with the help of China rebuilds in a more secretive manner. WWIII is merely postponed.

3) Trump strikes North Korean missile sites, and North Korea invades South Korea in response with her ample conventional weapons and army. The US has to use tactic nukes to stop the massive invasion of over 2 million North Koreans, and China responds in kind by striking the US military forces with a pre-emptive nuclear missile strike, joined by Russia. WWIII starts.

The targets will be military bases and communications facilities [Joel has often said this would start with an EMP attack, targeting everyone – editor], not cities per se, although about 12-15 major metros will be affected by the strikes on military bases integral to those cities. It could happen during Trump’s term, and it seems to me that the globalists would very much like to tag Trump with the blame for this war.

The bottom line is that you should accelerate your preparations for relocation, war and survival, rather than count on having more time. If Trump doesn’t attack North Korea pre-emptively, it doesn’t mean war is avoided—just postponed. It’s coming eventually in any case. If he does attack pre-emptively, the North Koreans and Chinese are too proud to let that happen without some form of retaliation. I would give it a 60-40 chance it would blossom into WWIII. If they don’t retaliate enough to escalate into WWIII, its only because they have decided to wait for a better time to take revenge when their military preparations are complete.

In any case, we can no longer depend on Trump to not fall into whatever traps the globalists set for him. I actually found globalist puppet presidents easier to predict. Trump is now showing he is far more dangerous than having a puppet president because he can be so easily fooled and he has this reactionary quality that allows him to be goaded into war far too easily.

Even though I have never thought Trump would really turn things around and save this country, I’ve always said he will “slow down the globalist agenda and buy us more time.” That only turned out to be true in terms of globalist trade agreements and maybe the flooding of this country with illegal alien and refugees (which he hasn’t stopped yet). But in terms of foreign policy and the threat of war, Trump may well give us LESS time, and fall completely into the globalist war trap. I personally am very worried….

MOBOCRACY AND HIGHER EDUCATION
When I lived in Latin America for many years, I was appalled at the degree to which state universities in every Latin American country had become bastions of Marxism and revolution. Part of that was because they were granted complete autonomy. Even police could not enter to arrest revolutionaries. Naturally, universities became “safe havens” for violence.
What happened on March 2 of this year at Middlebury College in Vermont, a supposedly mild-mannered liberal arts school shows just how radicalized our left-wing universities have become. The James Martin Center has this tragic story:

On March 2, there was one of those oh-so-revealing events that makes people realize that very bad trends are at work in America, trends that are corroding the essence of civilization… The prolific author and American Enterprise Institute scholar Charles Murray [author of the famous Bell Shaped Curve] was asked to speak at Middlebury and answer questions from faculty and audience members. He is used to confrontations, but could not have imagined how vicious things would get up in the Green Mountain State.

Inside Higher Ed’s story on the event explains that college officials admonished the students prior to the talk that they could protest but not disrupt Murray’s talk, which was to be about the way white America is coming apart —the title of his latest book—along class lines. Unfortunately, that admonition did no good. “As soon as Murray took the stage,” we read, “students stood up, turned their backs to him and started various chants that were loud enough and in unison such that he could not talk over them. Chants included:

“Racist, sexist, anti-gay, Charles Murray go away!” “Your message is hatred. We cannot tolerate it.” “Who is the enemy? White supremacy!”

And then matters turned worse. Fearing that there might be a raucous, disruptive mob instead of an audience of students willing to listen and consider Murray’s arguments, school administrators had set up a contingency plan. Once it became clear that the mob had killed the lecture, they moved to another location where Murray would give his talk, which would be live-streamed to students.

Sadly, that location was soon beset by the mob, with banging on windows and pulling of fire alarms. Murray and Professor Allison Stanger, who was the moderator for the talk, tried their best to continue a rational discussion.

Finally, Murray, Professor Stanger, and a few others tried to leave campus. Here I’ll let Stanger’s account (quoted here) take over:

“What transpired felt like a scene from Homeland rather than an evening at an institution of higher learning. We confronted an angry mob as we tried to exit the building. Most of the hatred was focused on Dr. Murray, but when I took his right arm both to shield him from attack and to make sure we stayed together so I could reach the car too, that’s when the hatred turned on me. One thug grabbed me by the hair and another shoved me in a different direction. I noticed signs with expletives and my name on them.”

The mob surrounded the car, pounding on it. After a few frightening minutes, the driver, Middlebury’s vice president for communications Bill Burger, managed to get away. Their plan was to enjoy a quiet dinner together, but after arriving, Burger said that the mob had learned of their location and advised that the only safe course was to leave town immediately. (Professor Stanger realized that she was in pain and was later treated at a local hospital for a neck injury she’d suffered while trying to get into the car.)

What could have caused such unrelenting hatred among students at an expensive liberal arts college? Why do some students feel justified in demonizing, shouting down, and even physically assaulting people who are perceived as enemies? …

I mean that many people label others as either being in their tribe (consisting of people who are righteous and always correct) and the opposing tribe (consisting of people who are evil, stupid, and wrong on everything). Real scholars never impart such ideas because they know that reasonable and moral people can disagree on almost everything. They also know that the only way for civilized people to counter error is through debate; they know that people cannot be persuaded with violence.

Unfortunately, intellectual tribalism is spreading like the Black Death among so-called progressives. Anyone who disagrees with progressive policies is likely to be labeled an enemy, much as Karl Marx labeled everyone who rejected his beliefs a “class enemy.” The more influential such a person is, the more vehement the attacks and hatred against him. Murray, for example, is called a “racist” and “white supremacist” even though he is neither. …

Professor Michael Munger of Duke University recently commented on this disturbing phenomenon after he discovered a flier on campus. The flier, he wrote, “encouraged students to ‘bash the fash!’ meaning physically assault fascists. The definition of ‘fascist,’ conveniently, appears to be anyone who disagrees with the smothering leftist orthodoxy that the flier-istas embrace.” Just smear your opponents with a nasty name and it’s easy to whip up hatred and violence. [Murray’s response is here, in which he adds even more detail.]

To be frank, US universities in the middle to late twentieth century have always been bastions of socialism and Marxism. In fact, you cannot get a job as a Political Science professor at American Universities unless you have been published by the overtly Marxist American Political Science Association.
But what happened at Berkley and then at Middlebury is indicative of not just a growing incivility and intolerance from those who preach that Christians and conservatives must tolerate all they abhor, but an outright tendency toward hatred and violence. Apparently, political correctness is only a tool for silencing the Right. When Christian and/or conservative voices get through the growing censorship, they must be shouted down and met with violence. Worse than hypocritical, the Left doesn’t even seem to be bothered by their outrageous conduct.

ANALYSIS OF TRUMP’S LATEST COMPROMISES
Trump supporters are reeling from the recent string of compromises and mistakes as more and more essential campaign promises fall prey to compromises. The biggest ones this week were his support for a bill that falls short of repealing Obamacare and expanding support for the globalist interventions in Yemen and Syria. He seems tired of vetting nominees and has rubber stamped a dangerous percentage of neocons and globalists for positions in the highest levels of his administration. Naturally, many conservatives are anxiously wondering if Trump has been compromised or if he is simply the victim of his own lack of principles and failure to understand the globalist threat. I’ve always maintained that Trump is not a plant within the movement. He lacks the verbal control skills to watch his own tongue, let alone follow the script of others. Like most populists, I think Trump wants too much to be liked and is trying to please the very establishment he claims to oppose. Sadly, it is also almost impossible for Donald Trump to admit error once he has signed on to a policy mistake and made it his own.
The best example of the latter is his replacement Executive Order on a temporary immigration ban from six countries instead of the original seven. It was unnecessary to name any specific countries at all, but Trump insisted in order to save face on the original order. Even though any offending language about religious preference was removed from the new order, two activist judges in two different states blocked the temporary ban yet again—not based upon anything in the ban’s wording, but on comments made by members of the Trump administration that they perceived as discriminatory. Legal scholars are rolling their eyes in disbelief that a judge would base a ruling on comments rather than on the wording of the law—judicial activism at its worst.
Opposition is clearly building against Trumpcare, from all sides. In trying to please everyone, he ends up pleasing no one. For the first time since the American Healthcare Act (AHC) started working through the committee approval process this week, three conservative Republicans voted against approval of the bill in the important House Budget Committee—GOP Reps. Dave Brat of Virginia, Gary Palmer of Alabama, and Mark Sanford of South Carolina.
At least two dozen additional conservatives intend to vote against it when it comes for a vote unless amended, and that’s enough to kill it. Opposition by all Democrats is a given in both House and Senate, but in the Senate Mitch McConnell can only afford to lose 2 Republican votes if he is to pass the AHC—and 3 (Senators Paul, Cruz and Lee) have already said they won’t back it without significant changes.
The most important provision that has to be removed is the proposed 30% penalty for not maintaining continuous health insurance. That was a provision lobbied for by the insurance companies to replace the Obamacare mandate, which forces healthy people into the system to pay for those with expensive prior existing conditions. Even with those, it doesn’t keep premiums from rising by 2 or 3 times the former norm. Trump’s exaggerated promise that “you’re going to love” his replacement for Obamacare was doomed to fail, but the disappointing current legislation will be a cruel pill to swallow for supporters who hoped he would come through.
And then there are the liberal Republican Senators that won’t back the measure without a big expansion in Medicaid as a permanent fixture. This growing government health program, combined with the trappings of promising cheap insurance for everyone, will eventually end up causing a popular demand for a “single payer” government subsidized health system—especially after Trumpcare fails to lower premiums. By pushing for his own version of government healthcare, Donald Trump will be just as responsible as Obama for the coming government system that is evolving.
In trying to satisfy both liberals and conservatives, the Republicans will compromise and make changes to accommodate the largest factions. That guarantees that the Senate and House will pass differing bills which will then go through the “reconciliation process.” These reconciliation committees are often staffed by members of both houses that are compromisers, and I fear that the measures demanded by conservatives will be gutted in reconciliation. The result then goes before both houses as a simple yes/no vote, with no amendments.
In foreign policy, we are seeing the damage wrought by military hardliners surrounding the President as close advisors—particularly Defense Secretary Mattis and National Security Advisor McMasters. Despite campaign promises to stop globalist interventions around the world, the Trump administration is ramping up US military involvement in both Yemen and Syria. Evidence has recently surfaced in PJ Media that McMaster shares Obama’s views on Islam and terror.

Donald Trump’s new national security advisor, Lt. General H.R. McMaster, has made troubling remarks — such as “the Islamic State is not Islamic” — that one expects from the D.C. establishment. However a hearty endorsement that he gave to a 2010 book points to the totality of McMaster’s views on security issues as being worse than simply his parroting politically correct memes on Islam.

The book in question is Militant Islamist Ideology: Understanding the Global Threat. Written by CDR Youssef Aboul-Enein, it was published by the Naval Institute Press in 2010. I read and reviewed it back in 2012 and found its claims — many of which the Obama administration followed to disastrous results — to be incorrect and problematic.

For starters, Aboul-Enein asserts that only “militant Islamists” — ISIS types who behead, crucify, massacre, and burn people alive — are the enemy. “Non-militant Islamists,” however, are not: “It is the Militant Islamists who are our adversary. They represent an immediate threat to the national security of the United States. They must not be confused with Islamists.”

What he misses here is something that nobody in the media sees—that ISIS is so totally virulent and scripted in its violence against everyone, including Muslims that they can’t even be classified as “radical Islamic terrorists,” —not because their isn’t radical Islam, but because these terrorist are not trying to create a Califate, but rather to help breed extreme fear of the phony war on terror. Real terror organizations are fighting for a cause and they specifically make sure that people in that cause are not harmed. ISIS harms everyone, even Muslims. That can only mean that ISIS is the blackest of false flag operations meant only to stir up universal fear of terrorism, and NOT to create anything beneficial.

This theme, which the author expresses in convoluted language — at one point he urges the reader to appreciate the “the divisions between Militant Islamists and between Militant Islamists and Islamists” (p.176) — permeates the book. In reality, all Islamists share the same ultimate goal of global Islamic hegemony. They differ in methodology — but not in their view of us as the enemy to be crushed.

We’ve already seen the outcome of cooperating with “Non-militant Islamists” during the Arab Spring. The Obama administration cast aside decades of U.S. policy and support for secular Arab autocrats and made cozy with the Muslim Brotherhood. What followed is well-known: the Arab Spring quickly turned into the “Islamic Winter.” This culminated with the rise of the Islamic State, in large part due to Obama’s policies, both active (aiding Islamic terrorists by portraying them as “freedom fighters,” in Libya and Syria) and inactive (pulling all U.S. forces out of Iraq despite the warnings, and disposing of a 30-year ally of the U.S., the secularist Mubarak, for the Brotherhood in Egypt).

Of course, he misses the biggest point—that US and British intelligence created ISIS out of nowhere by simply rebranding about half of the Syrian rebels which had been brought in, funded and armed by Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
Worse, Trump is building bridges to Saudi Arabia, the prime source of funding and weapons for US backed terrorists. Bloomberg relished the scene, noticing that “Trump Wins Saudi Praise for ‘Turning Point’ After Meeting Prince.”

Saudi Arabia, seeking to breathe life into its decades-old alliance with the U.S., claimed “a historic turning point” in bilateral relations after President Donald Trump welcomed Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the White House.

“Relations had undergone a period of difference of opinion,” a senior adviser to the crown prince said in a statement after Tuesday’s meeting. “However, today’s meeting has put things on the right track, and marked a significant shift in relations, across all political, military, security and economic fields.”

Sunni Arab leaders are embracing Trump with praise the president isn’t finding from other U.S. allies in the world, reflecting an eagerness to reset ties after feeling shunned by President Barack Obama, who crafted the 2015 nuclear deal with their Shiite rival Iran. The Saudi statement said Trump had a “great understanding” of the bilateral relationship. The president and the prince “share the same views on the gravity of the Iranian expansionist moves in the region,” the adviser said.

The foregoing describes succinctly how Trump fell into this neocon trap. Trump is told by numerous neocon advisors, before and after the election, that Iran is the real problem, the “number one terrorist supporting nation,” even though it’s a lie. US and British intelligence, colluding with Israel, are the number one terror sponsors in the world. They created al Qaeda, ISIS and all the Syrian rebels, none of which are moderate. In fact, new evidence appeared this week from Iranian and Iraqi sources that documented how US special operations helicopters rescued two ISIS commanders from the battle for Mosul and transferred them deeper into Syria.

Commander of Asa’eb al-Haq Movement affiliated to the Iraqi popular forces of Hashd al-Shaabi said that… US forces have carried out a rapid heliborn operation and evacuated two commanders of ISIL terrorists from Western Mosul in Northern Iraq.

Javad al-Talaybawi said that the US forces carried out the heliborne operation in one of the Western neighborhoods of Western Mosul, evacuating two senior ISIS commanders to an unknown location after the commanders came under siege by Iraqi government forces in intensified clashes in Western Mosul.

“Americans’ support and assistance to the ISIS is done openly to save their regional plan in a desperately attempt,” al-Talaybawi underlined.

Al-Talaybawi had warned late in February that the US forces tried hard to evacuate ISIS commanders from the besieged city of Tal Afar West of Mosul.

After photos surfaced in the media displaying US forces assisting ISIS terrorists, al-Talaybawi said that the Americans were planning to take ISIS commanders away from Tal Afar that is under the Iraqi forces’ siege.

In the meantime, member of Iraqi Parliament’s Security and Defense Commission Iskandar Watut called for a probe into photos and footages displaying US planes airdropping aid packages over ISIS-held regions.

Watut further added that we witnessed several times that US planes dropped packages of food stuff, arms and other necessary items over ISIS-held regions, and called on Iraq’s air defense to watch out [for] the US-led coalition planes. Eyewitnesses disclosed at the time that the US military planes helped the ISIS terrorists in Tal Afar region West of Mosul.

“We saw several packages dropped out of a US army aircraft in the surrounding areas of the city of Tal Afar in Western Nineveh province and six people also came out of a US plane in the ISIL-controlled areas,” the Arabic-language media quoted a number of eyewitnesses as saying.

The Iraqi army says that the US army is trying to transfer the ISIL commanders trapped in areas besieged by the Iraqi army to safe regions.

It is no wonder that Iran and Iraq are being targeted by globalists. They, along with the Russians, know that the US is secretly supporting terror, for conflict creation purposes. Iran is being targeted for blowing the whistle on US duplicity and because it has its own weapons industry and thus is the only Middle East nation capable of countering the globalist intervention in Syria.
What this suppressed report above also indicates is that the dark side of government has control of certain US Special Forces troops and helicopters and are still operating even though the President of the United States has not authorized these operations in support of ISIS, and is ignorant about them. Of course, he only knows what his briefers tell him and what he reads on the internet in the early morning hours. Apparently he missed this story or he would be hopping mad. Naturally, if he did read it and brought it up to his advisors, they dismiss the story as Iranian and Iraqi propaganda. Still the stories persist because they are true.
In short, because Trump has bought into the idea that Iran is the “bogey man,” anything can be sold to Trump in the Middle East if it can be viewed as hurting Iran, and it can be perceived as fighting the phony war on terror. That’s why Trump is getting deeper into the battle for Yemen, where Iranian-backed Houthi rebels overthrew the globalist regime in Yemen that was supplying weapons to US-backed terrorists.
I’m not saying the Iranian Ayatollahs are friends of liberty. They are not. But like the Russians, they are directly thwarting the globalist agenda in the Middle East, which is partially helpful to the anti-globalist cause. Eventually, Russia intends to strike the West more broadly and establish their own version of a globalist government, which won’t be good either.
As the Washington Post points out, Trump is going to resume military weapon sales to the Saudis after Obama claims to have halted those sales due to multiple massacres of civilians in Yemen:

The State Department has approved a resumption of weapons sales that critics have linked to Saudi Arabia’s bombing of civilians in Yemen, a potential sign of reinvigorated U.S. support for the kingdom’s involvement in its neighbor’s ongoing civil war.

The proposal from the State Department would reverse a decision made late in the Obama administration to suspend the sale of precision guided munitions to Riyadh, which leads a mostly Arab coalition conducting airstrikes against Houthi rebels in Yemen.

While the U.S. military has provided support to the Saudi-led air campaign since 2015, including aerial refueling for Saudi jets and a U.S. advisory mission in the Saudi operations headquarters, the Obama administration sought to scale back that support last year amid alleged Saudi strikes on civilian targets.

Of course, this was only done by the Obama Administration to assuage public opinion over the US backing a merciless Saudi regime. In fact, the Saudis already had enough inventory of these weapons so the “cut back” didn’t really stop their war in Yemen. Military sales would have resumed in due course anyway before the Saudis ran out of bombs.
In like manner, the media and Trump foolishly paint Obama as “soft on Iran” because of the Iran nuclear deal. But this was not a deal meant to help Iran, or establishment peace with the West. It was just the opposite—a future trap (with conditions Iran is bound to violate) set to justify an attack on Iran, once Syria was subdued. Even though none of the parties signed the agreement, it was put into a binding Security Council resolution that automatically authorizes a war against Iran should a violation be detected.
One of the psychological twists in the deal was that by Obama appearing to be “soft on Iran” Republicans and Trump would take up the opposite position, not realizing such action is exactly what the globalists really want. In the end, Republicans will be blamed for the war, not the globalists.
In furtherance of these militaristic goals, Trump has authorized more Special Forces in both Yemen and Syria, which the Syrian government rightly opposes. No nation has the right to invade the territory of another unless threatened directly by that nation. If the US claims to be helping to fight ISIS in Syria, they should have no trouble getting permission. Sadly, that isn’t the real goal.
Trump has also fallen into the trap of furthering the globalist agenda by backing a tougher military stance against terror—which he can’t really fight unless he traces terror back to its origin in the dark side of the CIA and MI6 in Britain. Will Grigg of Liberty News Daily comments on how Trump has also loosened the rules against civilian casualties in Counter-Terror Operations:

Donald Trump’s most insistent and frequently repeated campaign promises was to unshackle the military and intelligence agencies in pursuing counter-terrorism operations worldwide. As President, Trump is making good on that promise, which was regarded as problematic by some of his libertarian and traditionally conservative supporters.

According to the New York Times, The Trump administration is exploring how to dismantle or bypass Obama-era constraints intended to prevent civilian deaths from drone attacks, commando raids, and other counterterrorism missions outside conventional war zones like Afghanistan and Iraq…. Already, President Trump has granted a Pentagon request to declare parts of three provinces of Yemen to be an `area of active hostilities’ where looser battlefield rules apply,” continues the Times account. “That opened the door to a Special Operations raid in late January in which several civilians were killed, as well as to the largest-ever series of American airstrikes targeting Yemen-based Qaeda militants, starting nearly two weeks ago,” administration officials disclosed to the paper.

Mr. Trump is also expected to approve a similar Pentagon request to designate some parts of Somalia as a battle zone subject to similarly emancipated rules of engagement.

All of this comes at a time when the Trump administration is preparing a budget that will reallocate funds from diplomatic initiatives to the military.

Google and Facebook Are Not Really Private and Shouldn’t Do as They Please With Alex Jones and NaturalNews.com

Google really isn’t a private company. If it continues to attack alternative media like Alex Jones and NaturalNews.com, it may find lawsuits headed in its direction. The same may go for Facebook too.

By portraying itself as a private company, Google can do as it chooses, when attacking companies that don’t live up to its standards from an advertising point of view.

It can help cut off companies that don’t properly advertise according to the Google rule book. The rule book is general and vague. But Google is supposedly a private company so it really doesn’t matter. Google can do pretty much as it wants. And so can Facebook.

Yet there is plenty to rebut this perspective. The best or most comprehensive article on Google along with the CIA and Pentagon is an Insurge Intelligence article entitled, How the CIA Made Google.

It shows that one of the founders of Google, Sergey Brin virtually reported to the Pentagon/ CIA while developing the project that would eventually become Google. Interestingly, later in the article, people close to the CIA and Pentagon are quoted as denying a close relationship. So obviously there is a good deal of sensitivity around the topic.

When it comes to Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg was funded indirectly by the CIA via Peter Thiel. Thiel is a cofounder of PayPal with Elon Musk of Tesla fame.

Thiel invested $500,000 into Facebook but supposedly this was a CIA investment. Thiel is very close to the CIA. His company Palanitir, supposedly worth some $20 billion, runs secret algorithms for the CIA and other intel agencies. It was just the subject of a Daily Mail story  hereThiel is supposedly a libertarian but we don’t see how he can be.

Later, Thiel invested 12.7 million in Facebook. Companies that owe their existence and direction to public intelligence agencies are not private. They ought not to be run as they were.

Facebook has not yet launched an overwhelming assault on Alex Jones or Natural.News but with its determination to root out “fake” news it will surely be part of a large attack at some point. Google has not made a special attack on Alex Jones but it too is headed in that direction.

[…]

Without various investments and relationships, and most importantly without intellectual property rights, corporate personhood, central banking and regulations, both Google and Facebook would be a shadow of what they are now. There would be many more such companies and a good deal more progress would have been made as well.

PLAYING THE RUSSIAN CARD AGAINST SESSIONS
The Trump administration made a major mistake in sacrificing National Security advisor Michael Flynn over the issue of Russian contacts. They should have defended his five telephones calls with the Russian ambassador as a necessary post-election courtesy to the Russians who were concerned about overturning the Obama edict ousting Russian diplomat-spies. The US has them too in Moscow. By not defending the contacts, and firing Flynn, they have unknowingly set the stage for the media to take down anyone else in the Trump administration who had post election contacts with the Russians. This week, they picked on Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Trump ought to realize by now that the NSA is spying on him and everyone else in his administration, leaking rumors of Russian contacts and setting the same traps—unsubstantiated rumors first, in order to elicit a denial, and then producing transcripts to embarrass the target and demand a resignation.
In the Flynn case, David Ignatius of the The Washington Post set the trap by publishing a generalized version of a leak he got from within the deep state about the contacts—without letting on that the leak contained wiretap transcripts. Flynn thought he could get away with denying the rumors, but after he did so the trap was sprung by announcing the media had the transcripts proving Flynn was a liar.
In Attorney General Sessions’ case, which emerged this week, the establishment had set the trap earlier when Democratic Senator Al Franken questioned Sessions during his confirmation hearings about whether or not he had any contacts with the Russians. Sessions responded that he “did not have communications with the Russians” in his capacity as an adviser to then-candidate Trump. (Keep in mind this last phrase, as it is the key to his defense).
Then the Washington Post springs the trap, as they did with Flynn, by revealing that Sessions had private conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the Republican National Convention in July and also at his Senate office in September of 2016. The Post implied that this was part of the same Russian campaign to influence the election, quoting Professor Michael McFaul.

Michael McFaul, a Stanford University professor who until 2014 served as U.S. ambassador to Russia, said he was not surprised that Kislyak would seek a meeting with Sessions. “The weird part is to conceal it,” he said. “That was at the height of all the discussions of what Russia was doing during the election.”

Of course, the reason why Flynn and Sessions would deny the contacts is that the media was making a big deal out of Russian interference, and setting them up to hide any contacts—which would trap them later on, as we are now witnessing. Senator Franken predictably begins a public attack on Sessions for “misleading” the Senate confirmation committee about his Russian contacts.
Fortunately, the White House is defending Sessions rather than capitulating and allowing him to resign. Administration spokespersons rightly point out that Sessions was not representing the Trump campaign, but his position as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

“lt’s no surprise Senator Al Franken is pushing this story immediately following President Trump’s successful address to the nation.”

In an interview with NBC News he reiterated that “I have not met with any Russians at any time to discuss any political campaign, and those remarks are unbelievable to me and false, and I don’t have anything else to say about that.” He’d better be right because they may have spy transcripts and will use them to create a further crisis if needed.
They have already succeeded in getting Sessions to agree to recuse himself from any investigation involving Russian hacking of the election. That too is a mistake because the hacking claim of the DNC is a major intelligence and media lie that needs to be debunked officially once and for all. It’s amazing that I heard one commentator yesterday say that “no one is questioning the Russian hack of the DNC.” I have, and many others have. This is turning out to be a “big lie” that is being taken as gospel truth.
Sadly, by recusing himself, Sessions will deny himself any power to make sure the intelligence services produce honest evidence of Russian hacking, which they can’t do—because the FBI and others were using innuendo rather than actual spy transcripts. More data will be falsified for the investigation and the NSA will be trying to trap Sessions to see if he will involve himself against his promise. Mark Levin had these choice words relative to forcing Sessions to recuse himself:

Did Sessions give 20’% of uranium to Russians like Hillary Clinton did? No, he didn’t do anything like that. He met with the ambassador as matter of his duty as a senator not as a surrogate for the Trump 2016 campaign. However, Republicans in the house and Senate insisted that he recuse himself. You can bet Republicans will throw these guys overboard just like they did with Gen Mike Flynn. The left’s desire to destroy this administration is insatiable, and they are not going to stop. Did Eric Holder or Loretta Lynch ever recuse himself on anything? This is so pathetic that Republicans are all over T.V. saying Sessions should recuse himself.

Republicans like Kevin McCarthy are running for the hills whenever liberals attack. The bigger scandal here is that we’ve had Obama administration holdovers within intelligence agencies surveilling the Trump campaign and leaking information to the public, in hopes of getting Hillary Clinton elected. Those are police state tactics! Nothing Gen. Michael Flynn or Sessions have done are even in the same category as that. This is a massive scandal, the likes of which we have never seen. The real question should be, was Barack Obama as President using our intelligence services through the FISA court to gather information on their opponent? In addition, where did the information on Sessions come from? The Obama administration knew exactly what they were doing. They loosened NSA information gathering rules weeks before they left office. The information was then grabbed and spread to plants in the government.

I disagree with Levin that this was done by Obama holdovers or even his administration during the latter part of his tenure. This was the permanent deep state ensconced within government that never gives up control of its surveillance machinery. Chuck Ross of the Daily Caller wrote extensively about this Russian interference theme and how it was created by the deep state:

According to The NY Times, Obama White House officials waged a campaign to procure, save and disperse classified intelligence regarding Trump associates’ contacts with Russians. The campaign also involved curtailing the Trump team’s access to highly classified information and of lowering classification ratings on other information about the ongoing Russia investigation so that it could be more widely shared across the government.

According to The Times’ sources, the Obama officials waged the campaign out of fear that the Trump administration would cover up or destroy some of the information.

That’s a bogus claim because there was no Trump conspiracy to do anything illegal with the Russians. The only reason for embarrassment and the hiding of contacts is that the mainstream media poisoned the waters of improved relations with Russia, and the Trump team fell into the trap of denial rather than defense of working for better relations. Besides, these contacts were all informal and verbal. There was no written information to destroy, as the Times claims, except that recorded by NSA spying, with the Trump team didn’t know about.
The campaign was multifaceted but was not directed by Obama himself, the Times sources claimed.
Correct. Puppet presidents don’t direct these kinds of dark operations.

The wide-ranging report also includes some information that is not positive for Trump, including that federal investigators were given intelligence from foreign services that some Trump associates met with Russians in the Netherlands and Britain.

That’s an admission of dark side intelligence collusion with dark side forces they control in other allied countries. Even so, if they were Russian agents they would work under diplomatic or business cover.

That detail adds new information to a report from The Times last month that U.S. investigators had evidence that some Trump campaign advisers communicated with Russian government officials before the election.

Which is not illegal in and of itself.

That report noted that U.S. officials do not yet have evidence of any coordination between Trump advisers and the Russian government to influence the election. The White House strongly denied the claims made in that report, and asserted the FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe told Trump’s chief of staff, Reince Priebus, that the story was “bullshit.”

The Obama administration’s intelligence-sharing effort involved the White House, intelligence agencies and State Department, The Times reports. According to the newspaper, some Obama White House officials asked specific questions in intelligence briefings because they knew the questions and answers would be documented and saved for future review.

Actually, this tactic is to help coverup for intelligence agency spying by making it appear that they did not offer this information, but that it was extracted in response to a question.

Intelligence agencies ramped up efforts to convert raw intelligence gathered on Trump advisers into information that could be used by analysts. The intelligence was also classified at relatively low levels “to ensure as wide a readership as possible across the government,” according to The Times.

The State Department, then led by John Kerry, also took part in the intelligence-sharing campaign. The agency sent a batch of documents classified as “Secret” to Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin, the top Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee, just before the election.

The Obama officials also moved to cap the number of incoming Trump officials who could view extremely sensitive information, “including the names of sources and the identities of foreigners who were regularly monitored.” The scheme would seem to lend support to Trump’s claims that the Obama White House sought to undermine his presidency by leaking classified information.

Keep in mind that there is a dual agenda in all of these Russian attacks: 1) to make Russia the boogeyman so that the Trump administration will not be able to join forces with Russia in getting rid of ISIS (a US/British/Israeli intelligence creation), and 2) to use the issue of contacts to get rid of non-insiders who are/were occupying sensitive positions in the administration.
That latter agenda is ongoing. The National Security Advisor post, for example, is normally the globalist point man and “handler” of puppet presidents, to ensure a continuation of globalist foreign policy and neocon-style military intervention. The National Security Council is also where many black operations are initiated and approved. Flynn was an outsider and critic of US intelligence agencies occupying that position and had to go.
In other bad news, the Trump White House has just asked globalist Fiona Hill, a Brookings Institution scholar who has written a skeptical book about Russian President Vladimir Putin, to join the White House national security staff
In like manner as the NSC, the Department of Justice (DOJ) must also be controlled by an insider since that is where illegal acts by globalist insiders in government receive protection and immunity against prosecution. Sessions as an outsider also needs to be removed.
However, the Powers That Be (PTB) might be able to live with Sessions since he is helping with the establishment campaign to protect law enforcement from citizen legal action over surveillance and abuse. Will Grigg comments that,

When he was nominated to serve as Attorney General, Jeff Sessions was hailed by law enforcement unions for bringing a “police-first mentality” to the position. On the basis of his performance thus far it is apparent that Sessions will not make it a priority to investigate claims of systemic corruption and abuse by local police departments.

In a recent press briefing, Sessions said that he had seen summaries of reports compiled by the Civil Rights Division regarding police departments in Chicago and Ferguson, Missouri.

“Some of it was pretty anecdotal and not so scientifically based,” Sessions commented, which isn’t surprising, given that he was reading executive summaries, which do not provide research details. Asked about the depth of the review he had conducted, Sessions admitted: “I have not read those reports, frankly.”

In describing the role of his department, Sessions said that it would serve as “the leading advocate for law enforcement in America, and I hope to be able to fulfill my responsibility in that regard.” Law enforcement is only one element of “justice,” of course. Due process is at least equally important, as is public accountability when abuse of power occurs.

Attorney General Sessions and President Trump are not seeking to minimize the federal role in local law enforcement. Both have pledged to put federal power at the disposal of the police. What they have promised is a less active role in holding law enforcement agencies accountable when officers injure citizens through incompetence or criminal misconduct.

Sessions is also wrongly reasserting federal authority over the legalization of marijuana at the state level. Both Trump and Sessions praise the role of the 10th Amendment in allowing states to set their own standards and not be dictated to by federal policies, relative to health care. However, in the matter of marijuana legalization, even for medical purposes, Sessions is no fan of state’s rights. This continuation of federal prosecution for marijuana sales puts citizens at risk in states where marijuana is legal for medical purposes.
In August of 2016 the liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Justice Department cannot prosecute medical marijuana cases if no state laws were broken, citing the 10th Amendment allowing States to have final cognizance over matters of law not granted to the federal government. As Fox News reported,

A three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco ordered the federal agency to show that 10 pending cases in California and Washington state violated medical marijuana laws in those states before continuing with prosecutions.

Marijuana remains illegal under federal law, but Congress has barred the Justice Department from spending money to prevent states from regulating the use or sale of medical pot.

Federal prosecutors argued unsuccessfully that Congress meant only to bar the department from taking legal action against states and that it could still prosecute individuals who violate federal marijuana laws. The court rejected that, saying that medical marijuana-based prosecutions prevent the states from giving full effect to their own measures.
This week the Supreme Court refused to hear a case on appeal challenging Colorado’s medical marijuana law, putting off once again a definitive ruling on whether or not federal law, with no constitutional backing, has precedence over state law. As the Washington Post reported,

The Supreme Court’s decision today to toss out a lawsuit that could have brought Colorado’s legal marijuana boom to a screeching halt.. Oklahoma and Nebraska asked the Supreme Court to hear a challenge to Colorado’s marijuana legalization framework, saying that the state’s legalization regime was causing marijuana to flow across the borders into their own states, creating law enforcement headaches.

But by a 6-2 majority, the Supreme Court declined to hear the case, without comment… In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs argued that since marijuana is illegal under the federal Controlled Substances Act (CSA), it can’t be regulated at the state level. But numerous legal experts have pointed out that assumption is incorrect.

“Congress has no power to compel states to prohibit the cultivation, possession and transfer of marijuana,” according to Randy Barnett, an attorney who litigated a Supreme Court case exploring the limits of the CSA. “In the absence of such state prohibition, all such activities are completely legal under state law, notwithstanding that they are illegal under federal law,” he wrote last year.

In short, Congress can say that marijuana is illegal at the federal level. But if a state doesn’t want to enforce that prohibition itself, it doesn’t have to do so. And if it wants to go one step further and set up a market to regulate the trade in the drug, it’s free to do that as well.

Indeed, regardless of what you think of medical marijuana, this is a matter of state’s rights, and it looks increasingly like the courts are going to back that position, even as the DOJ tries to clamp down. I, personally, don’t totally agree with medical marijuana claims, but I strongly believe this is a matter to be left to the individual to decide and not government.
As a matter of principle, once Congress or the courts allow the government to dictate what they think is harmful or beneficial to individuals, when the fundamental rights of others are not affected, there is no limit to the individual choices that government can intrude upon.

TRUMP’S POOR REPLACEMENT CHOICES
In the aftermath of Mike Flynn’s resignation and the withdrawal of Andrew Puzder as Labor Secretary, Trump has succumbed to nominating mainstream replacements that will not follow through with Trump’s change agenda. This sends a signal to the opposition that if they can block the nomination of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court, they might just get a more liberal alternative. This week, I’ll detail why H. R. McMasters shows signs of being a globalist insider, and why Alex Acosta has a long history of accommodating the Left in questions of labor policy.
As a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Herbert McMasters is being portrayed as somewhat of an outsider due to his early criticism of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the Vietnam War. That was perhaps true as he was starting out and trying to set himself up to be an alternative view, but in his later career his outlooks followed the military mainstream, with a decided blindness toward the influence of globalism on the military and foreign policy.
His book Derelection of Duty criticizes high ranking officers of the Joint Chiefs for not standing up enough to Robert McNamara and his globalist cronies sabotaging the war effort. McMasters sees a lot of bad decision making going on, but he didn’t understand how McNamara and the others were following an agenda to tarnish US involvement in Vietnam and give future wars of liberation a bad name. He starts out focusing on Kennedy’s mistrust of the military, saying that JFK blamed the Joint Chiefs for the failure of the Bay of Pigs invasion. That simply wasn’t true. JFK knew very well that the air support was authorized by him before he went to bed. He also found out that it was McGeorge Bundy who cancelled the air support during the night while JFK slept and blamed it on the CIA. That turned Kennedy against CIA black operations, which eventually got him killed by the dark side of the US government.
But Bundy and his globalist cohorts in Kennedy’s “Brain Trust” were the real problems and Kennedy failed to see it. Bundy was the National Security Advisor of both Kennedy and Johnson and kept pushing the escalation of the Vietnam war, while engineering the military restrictions that made it impossible to win the war. McMasters fails in his book to adequately address why the military was continually restricted by these rules and who was behind them.
While McMasters gained a reputation as a critic of military higher-ups, he continued to climb the ladder of advancement due to excellent combat leadership during the Gulf war and in Afghanistan. He broke with traditional military doctrine in Afghanistan by billeting his troops in the cities rather than in bases outside, which helped gain the confidence of locals who began to turn on insurgents.
McMasters got his introduction to globalist doctrine in 2003 at the neocon-oriented Hoover Institution at Stanford, and later at the pro-globalist British International Institute for Strategic Studies in London in 2006.
Despite the globalist indoctrination, he was passed over for Brigadier General in 2006 and 2007, which is typical of how the military selection board penalizes mavericks who embarrass them. Being passed over for advancement usually spells the end of one’s career, but someone in the globalist ranks recognized McMaster’s positive reaction to globalist indoctrination in London, and reversed that move.
Why else would a dedicated globalist like John McCain praise McMasters and condemn Flynn, who was influenced by neocon and anti-Russian doctrine, but was a known outsider. As CNN reported,

“McMaster might be the 21st century Army’s pre-eminent warrior-thinker,” Ret. Lt. Gen. David Barno wrote of McMaster in an accompanying profile. He went on to call him “the rarest of soldiers — one who repeatedly bucked the system and survived to join its senior ranks… I watched senior Army generals argue over ways to end his career,” Barno added. “But he dodged those bullets.”

Actually, they did try to end his career but he was resurrected by other leaders who saw him as a globalist ally. Specifically, Secretary of the Army Pete Geren requested General David Petraeus, a known globalist, to return from Iraq to take charge of the promotion board and that’s when McMasters was promoted. You also don’t get named to Time Magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in 2014 unless you are accepted by the insiders.
Sen. John McCain, the Republican chairman of the Armed Services Committee, a known neocon and virulent critic of Trump and Flynn, enthusiastically endorsed McMasters, calling him “an outstanding choice for national security adviser.” That’s telling, and not a good sign.
Sadly, Trump thinks this is someone who will shake things up, but the insiders know he will do so without damaging the globalist hold on institutional power. Let me give you an example of how McMasters thinks. He is revered for revising military doctrine to deal with long-term counterinsurgency warfare. But his ideas are nothing new. They were growing as a result of the Vietnam war, while I was in the Marine Corps.
You have to “win the hearts and minds” of the people in an insurgency and not simply go in and kill people. Granted, that’s what McMaster did in the city of Tal Afar in Afghanistan with success, but he mistakenly thinks you can transfer this kind of strategy to defeat ISIS. As Peter Bergen, CNN National Security Analyst wrote about the pacification of Tal Afar,

In 2005 then-Col. McMaster led the first successful full-scale battle against al Qaeda in the western Iraqi city of Tal Afar, a city of a half-million people. In his National Geographic interview, McMaster recalled that al Qaeda had turned Tal Afar into a living hell: “All the schools were closed because of violence, all the marketplaces were closed. There was no power. There was no water. The city was lifeless. People lived in abject fear.”

McMaster established 29 small outposts in the city. His regiment lived among the Tal Afar population and partnered with tribal elders to offer protection against al Qaeda. The citizens began to trust the Americans and provided them with intelligence on al Qaeda’s movements. Within a few months al Qaeda had retreated from Tal Afar.

McMaster’s approach was the exact opposite of the US strategy of the time, which was to hand over ever more control to the Iraqi army and withdraw the bulk of American soldiers to massive bases.

However, he errs when he thinks that the rise of ISIS is a symptom of Sunni unrest in Syria and Iraq. As Bergan reflects on McMaster’s ideas,

The Sunni militants that make up ISIS are not the underlying problem in Syria and Iraq, but rather they are a symptom of other deeper problems. McMaster knows that there surely will be a “son of ISIS” and a “grandson of ISIS” if there is not some kind of political solution to the wars in Syria and Iraq that produced ISIS in the first place.

These ideas are standard counter-insurgency thinking and completely untrue when it comes to ISIS. ISIS never was an indigenous rebellion but a manufactured foreign terrorist faction created by US and British intelligence with the help of the Israelis. These are mercenary’s from Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, and Libya, combined with local radical jihadists. Nobody who is defending local and ideological values goes around antagonizing the entire world, blowing up, beheading and raping Muslims and Christians alike. You don’t solve this kind of battle by “winning the hearts and minds” of terrorists, because they aren’t fighting for religion, country or family.
The bottom line is that McMaster is a closet globalist who will steer Trump into following the neocon agenda in Syria and Iran. I don’t think Trump has what it takes to resist the advice McMaster will give him. It’s likely that he’ll sabotage Trump’s plan to join forces with the Russians to eliminate ISIS. That’s part of the reason for all this anti-Russian propaganda about Russia influencing the election—to make sure Trump can’t join with them to oust ISIS.
I’m anti-Putin as far as their long term objectives to go to war with the West, but that’s not why the establishment has suddenly turned on Russia. They want this war in order to drive the West into a militarized global government, but they have to paint Russia early as the bad guy to stop the Russians from blocking the globalist agenda in Syria. McMaster recently gave a speech where he articulated his anti-Russian stance, as retold by Will Grigg of Liberty News Daily:

In a May 2016 speech to the Center for Strategic and International Studies, McMaster depicted an insurgent Moscow that was exploiting what he characterized as American complacency. [It’s actually not complacency, but decades-long permissiveness during and after the Cold War, allowing the Russians to build military might using Western trade.]

“Even though it may have been apparent, at least since 2008, that Russia was changing its geostrategic behavior [actually a resurgence of their old Soviet design that had been put on hold during the deception of the “fall.”] and engaging in … probing at the far reaches of American power, our strategic response was to accelerate our withdrawal” of combat forces from Europe, complained McMaster. “And what we’re seeing now is we’ve awakened to … this threat from Russia, who is waging limited war for limited objectives – annexing Crimea, invading Ukraine, at zero cost, and consolidating gains over that territory.” According to McMaster, “What is required is forward deterrence [and the ability] to be able to ratchet up the cost at the frontier.”

General McMaster’s perspective on Russia has earned the approval of Arizona Republican Senator John McCain, a frequent critic of President Trump who is also a passionate advocate of a more confrontational posture toward Moscow [reflecting that of another neocon, Sen. Cotton].

Republican Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas is among the most hawkish members of Congress, particularly with respect to Iran. According to the Daily Caller, Cotton “spearheaded the effort for President Donald Trump to select Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster for the post of national security advisor” following the forced resignation of Michael Flynn. Cotton, an Army veteran who served in Iraq, reportedly considered resigning in 2007 when McMaster was passed over for a promotion.

McMaster’s hawkish posture toward Russia helps explain Sen. Cotton’s enthusiasm for his appointment. Cotton’s views toward Moscow are closer to those of his colleague from Arizona, John McCain, than those of President Trump. In January, Cotton complained to Fox News that the Obama administration had “consistently looked the other way from Russia’s provocations and aggressions” and insisted that Washington needs to impose “a sense of new boundaries” on Russian President Putin. “He needs to have a sense of boundaries and to know that costs are going to be imposed if he crosses those boundaries,” insisted Cotton.

Of course that will never happen because the globalists can’t actively confront Putin lest they be viewed as the ones starting the war. This is all talk aimed at Russian aggression in Ukraine, but it’s real aim, as I said, is to poison Trump’s ability to link up with Russia in Syria.
It is a shame that no one in the Trump administration is trying to debunk the fake intelligence about Russian interference in the election. At least they could point out the hypocrisy of the media complaining about Russian interference, when the US directly interfered in the Russian election of 1995-6.
Former Congressman Curt Weldon exposed the hypocrisy of the US claims against Russian interference by detailing this week on the Alex Jones show how the US directly went to work inside Russia to elect Boris Yeltsin. We hear all this talk about Trump talking to Alex Jones by phone but apparently no one in the administration is watching these broadcasts. If they are, why aren’t they using the information to counter the media?
Weldon related how Bill Clinton’s political advisors were sent over to Russia in 1995-6 to literally run Boris Yeltsin’s reelection campaign, and they stayed in the Presidential Hotel in Moscow. Putin has to be aware that US political advisors ran the reelections campaign of a candidate whose popularity had fallen to below 10% and had a known drinking problem. Putin was there when this was going on.
The Russians know how we reelected the guy we wanted to be president, but haven’t made an issue of that fact, in rebuttal. Why? To do so would expose to Putin’s own people that the US was complicit in helping to cover up for the phony fall of the Soviet Union.
Weldon was also on the Cox committee that investigated the theft of our technology by China. The People’s Republic of China funneled hundreds of millions of dollars into the Clinton campaigns of 1996. This article on Wikipedia will give you an idea of the massive scope of the charges and the subsequent coverups by the Clinton Justice Department. Why doesn’t the mainstream media bring up this massive interference in the US election by China, that is so well documented? They only make an issue of conspiracies that serve globalist purposes, and right now the only purpose is to keep Trump from joining with Russia to kill ISIS.

DRUG WAR REVELATION POINTS TO CIA
In a recent book, the son of the late Columbian drug lord Pablo Escobar has said that his father was a CIA asset. I have long documented in the WAB how the CIA controls and partners with drug cartels to import drugs into the US. The government of Mexico is involved as it certifies that cocaine laden trucks are inspected and sealed up as “drug free” before passing through the US border, where US agents are not allowed to open the trucks—even when drug sniffing dogs indicate there are drugs on board. Will Grigg has the story:

Sebastian Marroquin, who was born Juan Pablo Escobar, now lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His new book “In Fraganti: What My Father Never Told Me,” describes growing up in a household where his father was not at all reticent about describing the family business, and piles of drugs were routinely displayed in front of him.

“In my book, I tell the story of my father working for the CIA selling cocaine to finance the fight against Communism in Central America,” Marroquin explained in a recent television interview.

“The business of drug trafficking is very different from what we imagine,” he elaborated. “What the CIA did was buy the [officials who] brought the drugs into their country.” In that scheme the elder Escobar had “direct relations with the CIA … the person who sold the most drugs to the CIA was Pablo Escobar,” his son insists.

The entire purpose of drug prohibition, from Marroquin’s perspective, is to create a controlled market that would accentuate the illicit profits harvested by Deep State agencies. “Drug prohibition is a great business for those who close off all the points of entry,” he emphasizes. “I believe that prohibition is the best propaganda.”

Skousen: Full Scale War of the Deep State Against Donald Trump! — "The NSA is listening to everything. I think they're setting him up for impeachment by leaking something illegal that he might say. If he just makes one step… • "They're not satisfied in being able to co-opt him in about 80% of what he's doing now. They want it all. It's a top government secret • "Trump still gets in there and says, 'no, I don't want to do that.' They want a person who's compliant

Joel Skousen said on the Jeff Rense Show last night, 2/15/17:

“This is a full scale war of the Deep State* against Donald Trump!”

“The NSA is listening to everything that everyone does, and setting up these gotcha’s. They’re listening to everything Trump says. I think they’re setting him up for impeachment by leaking something illegal that he might say. … If he just makes one step…. …

This is a full scale war of the Deep State* against Donald Trump!

They’re not satisfied in being able to co-opt him in about 80% of what he’s doing now. They want it all. They want to destroy this guy, so they can get back to business as usual.”

“This is extremely illegal for the NSA, first of all, to be spying on everyone’s domestic conversation, and then spying on political officials for political purposes. And yet, who’s going to testify. It’s a top government secret.”

“The one thing that they aren’t controlling is Trump. And even though, they have worked at controlling and surrounded him with guys like Priebus and others, he still gets in there and says, ‘no, I don’t want to do that.’ And that’s what they don’t like. They want a person who’s going to be compliant.”

On immigration:

“The most important thing that he could do is to stop the notion that illegals require a judicial procedure to be deported.”

“..since Trump is unaware of the globalist war agenda, he is easily trapped by manipulated events in the Middle East and advice from his neocon-leaning advisors in the NSC. In all of this, I am not saying that Islam is not a threat issue, but that it isn’t an “existential threat” as the neocons are claiming. Existential implies a threat to our entire civilization. The only reason Islam has risen to become a terror threat is because of globalist false-flag engineering, funding and arms. Without that, Islamic terrorism would have never gotten past the occasional incident in the Middle East stage.”

CFR MISINFORMS ABOUT CHINA NUKES
I really get upset when the media keeps quoting US “intelligence agencies” that maintain that China only has 200 nuclear warheads. How can say that when they have zero access to China’s nuclear arsenal? The US had never had access. They are simply taking China’s lying words for truth because our controlled intelligence agencies are following the globalist agenda of downplaying the China nuclear threat.
But it got worse this week when the Council on Foreign Relations put out a propaganda piece in their magazine Foreign Affairs, not only repeating the bogus 200 nukes claim, but inferring that China isn’t in the least interested in joining the arms race. The piece is chock full of disinformation:

While U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin preen and compare the size of their nuclear arsenals, China has been quite modest on the subject. This macho dance doesn’t interest Beijing. Why? Isn’t bigger always better? For decades, when it comes to nuclear weapons, the answer from China has been a resounding no. The rest of the world would do well to consider their reasons why. [Oh, do tell! I can’t wait hear how this ends.]

In his last defense speech of 2016, Putin argued that his country needed to “enhance the combat capability of strategic nuclear forces, primarily by strengthening missile complexes that will be guaranteed to penetrate existing and future missile defense systems.” It wasn’t clear from the speech whether Putin seeks to improve nuclear warhead delivery systems in order to confuse American missile defense, or whether he will seek to increase the number of weapons deployed to overwhelm them, or even deploy cyber-capabilities to weaken the ability to respond. Perhaps it’s a strategy, perhaps it’s just rhetoric. U.S. ballistic missile defense efforts — particularly in Europe and Asia — have been a sore spot for both Russia and China.

The author makes it sound like the Russians are only thinking about it. Nonsense. The Russians are not only in the middle of production of the Topol M, but they are building new 15 warhead mega-missiles–the Satan-2. As with China, we have no inspectors in Russia, and even in the days when we did, our inspectors were never allowed inside the nuclear warhead plant we built for Russia nor into the huge underground factory-bunker city of Yamantau Mountain.

So why hasn’t Chinese leader Xi Jinping stripped off his shirt and flexed his strategic forces? Well, he doesn’t need to and he knows it. Decades of Chinese leaders have known it. The Chinese think about nuclear weapons in a fundamentally different way than their Western counterparts…. China was content to stick with dozens, not thousands, of warheads.

The reason the Chinese don’t flaunt it is because they want to maintain the lie that they only have a couple of hundred warheads—fodder for “useful idiots” and disarmament addicts at the CFR.

Even today, the United States and Russia believe nuclear deterrence requires thousands of warheads each, and at least three ways to deliver them. But the truth of the matter is that you can annihilate your adversary (or the planet) only so many times. In fact, some in the U.S. Air Force have argued that 311 warheads would provide nine-and-a-half times the destructive power needed to incapacitate the Soviet Union by former Defense Secretary Robert McNamara’s count.

More propaganda. In fact, you could throw all of the nukes in the world at Mt. St. Helens and you would not remove as much earth as it did when it blew off half of its top in the 1980s eruption. All these high quantities of nuclear weapons are NOT for simple deterrence, but to successfully win in a nuclear engagement where many of your weapons may be eliminated before you can launch them. Just to eliminate all of the US military and communications facilities around the world would take almost 3000 enemy warheads. As to enemy targets, many deep underground facilities like Yamantau Mountain and the missile tunnels in China would take tens of nuclear weapons to penetrate—and that’s only two targets. There are hundreds of targets.

For China, it’s not the size of the arsenal that counts, it’s how you use it. About 200 nuclear warheads are “enough.” China’s primary goal has always been to prevent the use of nuclear weapons against them. Beijing figured out that you don’t need 30,000 nuclear warheads to achieve that end — you only need enough that the risk of losing a major city in retaliation holds your opponents back. They have enough for escalation control, they have enough for deterrence, and they only need to mate their warheads to delivery vehicles to signal.

So they keep their strategic forces small and agile. With about 200 weapons, you already have increased the cost of nuclear war enough that nobody wants to start one with you. You don’t even have to spend a fortune to keep those weapons ready to go at a moment’s notice, as Russia and the United States do with their arsenals. Instead, China can invest in its conventional and not-so- conventional weapons, including a growing naval force, hyper-glide vehicles, and systems for both cyberspace and outer space. . Last, China is happy to sit back and wait until escalation is called for, so it keeps its warheads separated from the missiles it predominantly relies on as delivery systems.

More nonsense. If the CFR really thinks the Chinese don’t keep warheads on the missiles, they are idiots. The Chinese have thousands of miles of underground bunker tunnels all with rail road tracks to haul out rail mounted missiles into firing position at a moment’s notice. That said, they know their missiles are safe for now, since the US dismantled 2/3rd of the warheads on our remaining 400+ Minuteman missiles. The warheads on our submarines aren’t capable of penetrating hardened targets.
As for conventional weapons, China is in a major armament building spree, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t building new missiles and warheads in secret. This piece is simply meant to keep Americans asleep about the Chinese threat. Lastly, if China is so disinterested in nuclear missiles why does she keep building new DF-41 missiles? Why did China just test her newest DF-5 intercontinental missile with 10 warheads? See the article here.

TRUMP VERSUS THE DEEP STATE
As the second week in Donald Trump’s presidency comes to a close, it was inevitable that Trump would run up against some of those elements of the deep state firmly entrenched in government.
[…]
Another major story this week was about Trump’s first authorization of a secret US military operation in the Middle East that went badly. Apparently the al Qaeda target of the raid was heavily armed and knew the Navy Seals were coming. As the UK Daily Mail pointed out, some Special Forces people feel the operation was compromised by a leak inside the US government.

An eight-year-old American girl and a SEAL Team Six member have been named after they were killed in President Trump’s first military raid, in which officials have said ‘almost everything went wrong.’ It involved ‘boots on the ground’ at an al Qaeda camp near al Bayda in south central Yemen, officials confirmed in a statement to NBC.

The US involvement in this little known but surrogate war against Yemen is all wrong. The Yemenese government, prior to the war, was a surrogate for the US supplying terrorists in Syria, but the Houti rebels ousted the government, and the US unleashed Saudi Arabia to fight against the rebels in order to reinstall their puppet government. The Saudis have been doing badly in the war and have caused thousands of civilian casualties.
Naturally, military intelligence told Trump and the media that this target was an al Qaeda terrorist camp, but Trump has no way of knowing whether that was true or not. All we really know is that the US is targeting Yemenese who are against the US war to oust Assad.

An official told the news outlet that the raid was directed from a US base in Djibouti. A US official told ABC News that SEAL Team Six members took a Marine MV-22 [Tilt rotor transport aircraft, faster than helicopters]. That source told ABC that with armed drones above, the SEALs got to the compound where they were instantly met with heavy fire – and it was obvious that al Qaeda compound fighters had been expecting the Americans.

Pentagon spokesman Capt. Jeff Davis said Monday there’d been female fighters who ‘ran to pre-established positions as though they had trained to be ready and trained to be combatants and engaged with us’. Chief Special Warfare Operator William ‘Ryan’ Owens, a 36-year-old from Illinois, was killed in a firefight which left three other SEALs hurt, according to the news outlet.

There have to be CIA dark side agents embedded in the military that know all about US backing of terrorists, including ISIS, and are complicit in giving out target data for aircraft and special operations that they know will not really damage ISIS. They are also used to warning ISIS or US-backed al Qaeda terrorists that a strike is imminent, so that pilots think they did damage to a terror facility, but it turned up empty when they arrived. Obviously, US agents don’t talk directly to terrorists lest they know that the US is aiding them. They always direct orders and warnings to terror leaders higher up, so ordinary terrorists never know.
Did this operation mistakenly get leaked, out of habit, or because there is too much confusion going on about real terror versus “false-flag terror.” It must be hard for agents who manage the US part of the war on terror to reliable know which guys down the terror leadership chain of command are “in the know” and which are not. Or, did the deep state just decided to hand Trump a failure on his first try? The only good result of that will be that Trump may be more wary next time of letting the intel guys talk him into such operations.
The bad news on this theme of “Trump vs. the Deep State” is that Trump seems to be totally taken in by the intelligence agency propaganda that “Iran is the biggest sponsor of terror in the world.” Wrong. Iran is the biggest sponsor of fighters trying to counter the US globalist agenda in the Middle East, but the US and British deep state are by far the biggest sponsors of terror, including attacks on Europe and the US, aided in recent decades by their surrogates, Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar. It’s complex, and new subscribers are encouraged to use the archives at worldaffairsbrief.com to find my past briefings backing up those statements.
Don’t get me wrong. The Islamic government of Iran is a problem, especially to its own educated class of people who long for a secular state, but most of its attempts to become self-sufficient in the full range of weapons, including mass destruction, is because they recognize that Iran has been targeted for destruction by western globalists—who don’t want any Muslim state to have their own weapons industry.
The globalists, ever since WWI have always treated Arabs and Muslims as cannon fodder—to be used up in wars of conflict creation and never allowed to rule their own lands without being beholden to the US for protection. Saudi Arabia is the best example of a state that depends on the US to maintain its dictatorial power over its people. No “Arab Spring” uprisings are allowed for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, or Qatar; only for non-cooperating countries like Egypt, Libya and Syria. Iran’s beef with Israel is that they correctly realize that Israel is run by leaders like Benjamin Netanyahu that are aligned with the globalist NWO.
This week both National Security Advisor Flynn and Trump condemned and threatened Iran for testing a ballistic missile—in contravention of the still unsigned Iran deal. “As of today, we are officially putting Iran on notice,” Flynn said, speaking to reporters in the White House briefing and also issuing a written statement. He didn’t specify what “on notice” means, but the globalists know that this is a prelude to war.
This was the whole reason the US pressured Iran into allowing the US to add restrictions on conventional weapons and missiles in the agreement in the last round of negotiations—to make sure the US would have an excuse to attack Iran someday. Technically, there is a clear disagreement on terms here about what the missile restriction in the agreement involves. The US claims it means any missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, and the Iranians say it only restricts missiles with a nuclear warhead—which the tests did not have.
While the Iran “Nuclear” Deal has never been signed by Iran or the US, the US did get it implemented into a UN Security Council resolution, with the stipulation that any violation of the agreement would allow the UN to automatically authorize a military response from member nations. Trump and Flynn are falling into this very carefully crafted globalist trap set for Iran.
As I have pointed out in prior briefings, the entire purpose of going after Syria was because the Israelis were demanding it as a prior condition to their initiating an attack on Iran. They were afraid that in a war with Iran, Syria would have the most retaliatory power against Israel, being right next door and having hundreds of missiles and chemical warheads. Now that Russia has essentially blocked the fall of Assad in Syria, it appears the US globalists may try to push Trump into attacking Iran even though Syria is not yet out of the way.
I think the globalists think that Syria is now so tied up fighting US-backed rebels that they couldn’t pose a retaliatory threat to Israel, so the attack plans are back on. And this nuclear deal will be the issue that triggers it. Too bad Trump doesn’t see how he is being manipulated into another globalist war, despite his desire not to intervene in other country’s affairs. Once again, I still don’t think this will escalate into a nuclear world war, even if the US and Israel do attack Iran. It would stay regional, and I don’t believe the Russians would get involved to save Iran if it meant direct combat with the US. Russia isn’t ready for that yet.

Caravan to Midnight Episode 681 – Joseph Meyer & Joel Skousen
Tuesday January 31st 2017

Key quotes by Joel transcribed by Jeff Fenske:
22:19 “They [Americans] take comfort in the fact that if the government isn’t worried, if the media isn’t worried, why should I be worried? It’s a groupthink type of thing.”
37:42 “There’s always something about understanding the workings of conscience. I use that all the time when I’m trying to read stories. I’ll get a warning signal, a little nervous feeling: ‘something is not right about this.’ And it’s kind of a trigger feeling that I’ll go research and find out what’s wrong with it.
But people who don’t have a good sense of conscience — they don’t listen to those nervous feelings, or they constantly disregard them — they don’t get those signals. And some people just are so positive thinking; they don’t want to hear anything negative. They don’t want to hear even conscience warning them about nervous things, because they only want to hear the positive.
So there is a psychological, spiritual aspect towards listening or being open to the truth, especially tough truths. You’re never going to get to a real good understanding of what’s true unless you listen to those nervous feelings warning you, from what I believe is a divine source that something is wrong with the information. And to that extent, John, people are somewhat responsible for being ignorant.”
1:03:10 On 9/11, “it had to be both” a missile and a plane hitting the Pentagon. Half of the fiberglass nose of the airplane was intact inside the Pentagon. So a missile had to hit the Pentagon first. Smoke color and cordite smell. It had to be a special aircraft to withstand the g’s (switched). “As one witness said, the airplane hit the Pentagon wall, and the wall held up like a champ, and then it exploded into a thousand pieces.”
1:08:00 “Civil war, and social unrest, and FEMA camps and martial law, none of that’s coming until World War III comes, when our government allows a preemptive strike on the U.S. military, which will be preceded by an EMP strike, which will take down the electrical grid. … Somewhere, I think, in the middle of the next decade is when Russia and China will be ready to throw that strike.”
1:10:00 “This is just delightful to not see a puppet just taking orders…. But Trump is somebody who maybe doesn’t know what he’s doing, but he’s got enough gut instincts that he’s fighting the powers that be.”

NATIONAL ELECTRIC GRID PROTECTION SERIOUSLY FLAWED
Many were heartened that the Obama administration was moving forward to protect the national electrical grid from electromagnetic pulses from either solar flares or EMP. However, as Michael Maloof of WND explains the new improvements are only aimed at modest protections from solar flares and not the more powerful EMP pulses.

The Obama administration, on the eve of its transfer of power, is about to impose new standards to protect the nation’s life-sustaining electric grid from solar storms. However, the new standards by a Democrat-dominated regulatory board, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, will address only solar activities. Pointedly, it will not protect the vulnerable national grid from a man-made, high altitude, nuclear detonation that could create an electromagnetic pulse.

In an email to WND, William R. Graham, who was director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy and chairman of the 2008 congressionally mandated EMP Commission, warned that the FERC has scheduled a ruling on Jan. 19 – the FERC’s planned ruling “is likely to have far-ranging, seriously counterproductive national security implications.”

“It may not be an accident that this action is being addressed on the last full day of the Obama administration rather than at a time when the Trump administration can influence the ruling,” Graham told WND.

The FERC is to finalize standards for only solar storms, or the natural-occurring slow EMP called an E3, ignoring the nuclear-weapon-generated EMP, Graham warned… [but] there is also a substantially higher, intense electromagnetic fast pulse (E1) produced only by high-altitude nuclear weapons.”

“Significantly,” Graham said, “similar commercially available equipment can be used to protect against nuclear EMP and naturally occurring GMD EMP, but comprehensive nuclear EMP protection also requires protection against E1. Graham said he has alerted the incoming Trump transition department appointees and transition-team heads to the impending FERC action.

Graham pointed out the FERC is dominated by three Obama administration appointees, although the Republican appointee slots remain empty. Despite the Trump administration coming into office in a few days, the FERC won’t realize a majority of Republicans until June 30, 2017, when the term of a Democratic appointee is scheduled to end.

Frankly, in light of unilateral disarmament and PDD-60 warning our military to prepare to accept a nuclear first strike and “retaliate afterward,” I’m skeptical the government really wants to protect the grid from an EMP strike, which will be a 20 minute prelude to a real nuclear strike.

Skousen: Year End “Big Picture” Analysis: 2016 – Foreign Threats — "I’m often asked when I think this war is going to start…"

Joel has been closely studying the Russia/China threat since the ’80s. They’re getting ready to take US out, but won’t be fully ready until the middle of the next decade.
We need to get the power grid hardened now!

THE BIG PICTURE ON FOREIGN THREATS
Europe: While US globalists experienced a major backlash in the US by those tired of establishment policies, the globalists in Europe also have a major rebellion on their hands over EU open borders to refugees and the slow increase of EU mandates in social and economic affairs of member countries. The irritation of EU tinkering in member state policies and law has been growing slowly but the motivation to actually break from the growing tyranny was brought to a head by the sudden influx of millions of refugees from Africa and the Middle East.
Nothing was more shocking and threatening to Europeans than to see whole towns overwhelmed by refugees and globalist leaders ousting citizens from government subsidized apartments to make way for refugees. When the young males, which predominated among the displaced, began to prey upon women in Germany and France, the rebellion took hold and nationalist party ranks began to swell.
EU open borders policies allowed thousands of refugees to work their way north to Britain, which turned out to be the catalyst that pushed the Brexit vote over the top. This, combined with the Trump victory in the US, suddenly allowed anti-EU forces in various countries to believe that they too could beat the all-powerful EU at their own democracy game—at least at first.
The EU was successful in beating back an anti-EU challenge from the Freedom Party in Austria. They will attempt to defeat these same nationalist forces in the upcoming elections in Belgium and France. The Germans are just starting to wake up and finally have a growing anti-EU party called “Alternative for Germany,” which has doubled in size in just two years.
In the UK, globalist leaders have been able to delay and sabotage the British exit from the EU, which is still in progress. It started with handing over the reins of British government to Teresa May, (who voted against Brexit) who promptly got a bill passed in Parliament integrating EU law into British law, supposedly so that British politicians and the courts could have full authority to change those laws without going through the EU parliament. Only the most naive Brits failed to see this was a trap. It’s much harder to remove bad law once installed than stop it from becoming law.
Middle East: The other major setback for globalism was the entrance of Russia into the Syria conflict. The globalist agenda in the Middle East is very complex as I have explained recently in the WAB of December 16. Subscribers can access the archives at worldaffairsbrief.com by logging in and clicking on “Latest Brief.” For new subscribers let me summarize the key issues:
It started with the need to create a war on terror that could justify limiting citizen’s rights to privacy and due process in Western countries, and Muslims were the perfect targets for provocation, having a religion and culture that tended toward a natural hostility to the West, and to both Judaism and Christianity.
Not only was the 9/11 terror attack a false flag attack used to justify the war on terror, but it was then used as a pretense to attack Iraq and Afghanistan which had nothing to do with the attack. What the incursions into those countries did accomplish, however, was generate a lot of hatred among Muslims against America, which then fed the subsequent engineered terrorist organizations like al Qaeda and ISIS—both creations of US, British and Israeli intelligence.
The subsequent Western (Arab Spring) destabilization efforts in Egypt, Libya and Syria were done not only to create more hatred against the West, feeding the ranks of terror, but to make available huge arsenals of weapons from Libya to supply the terrorist forces the West would send into Syria. That’s what the secret Benghazi annex fight was all about—competing forces trying to capture the weapons stockpiles the US was secretly exporting to Syria.
But the long term globalist agenda had nothing to do with enforcing democracy in these tribal areas or making peace. It was mostly about creating waves of refugees which would be corralled into pitiful refugee camps until they were so frustrated and full of anger that they would make a massive push into Europe—forever changing the Western culture and political landscape of the EU. Africa, being a cauldron of ethnic conflict and constant warfare has also provided a steady stream of refugees and terrorists.
Out of the constant security threat refugees and terrorists have provided, France and Germany have been able to justify establishing their own surveillance state with enhance police powers of warrantless searches and indefinite detention. That’s conflict creation at its best.
There’s one additional globalist agenda, and that’s the take-down of Iran. Why Iran? Because it is the only Muslim country trying to become self-sufficient in the full range of weaponry needed to defend itself. All other Muslim countries are beholden to either East or West.
As I have explained before in prior briefings, the globalist attack on Syria is linked to the ultimate take-down of Iran. Israel was tasked by globalist leaders to start the war with Iran, but she insisted first that Syria be taken down first since Syrian rockets and chemical weapons were the main retaliatory threat to Israel.
But US plans for a no-fly zone and attack on Syria were thwarted by Syria’s acceptance of Secretary of State Kerry’s inadvertent offer to “not attack” if Syria gave up its chemical weapons. US, British, and Israeli intelligence then took about half the rebels fighting in Syria and changed their name to ISIS and set them off on a rampage in Iraq, brandishing threats to the whole world. It would provide the West’s an excuse to get back into an attack mode in Syria, using ISIS.
All was going according to plan until Russia intervened and starting turning the tide against the US-backed rebels, and Russia remains an impediment to this global agenda in the Middle East to this day. That’s why the US intelligence has suddenly been doing everything, including inventing Fake News of Russian hacking into the DNC emails, in order to turn public opinion against Russia’s intervention in Syria. Obama has even gone so far as to expel Russian diplomat/spies in retaliation. If this happened during the middle of Obama’s term, the Russians would have retaliated with a like number of diplomat/CIA expulsions, but I don’t think Putin will retaliate. He’ll simply wait for better relations with Trump.
Although Russia is doing us a favor in Syria by blocking the globalist conflict creation agenda, Russia has an evil long term agenda, and the combat training their air crews and special forces are getting in Syria is an essential part of that agenda—to eventually take down the West militarily. RT has even revealed that the Russians have tested over 150 new weapons in Syria. They have a secret pact with China to attack the West (when they are both ready) , and eventually intend to establish their own version of global government under the heavy hand of Communism which still rules both nations under the table.
Russia and China: There are a host of internet commentators on the Right and Left that are hyping the notion that Obama is going to start WWIII by provoking the Russians in Syria, or by NATO holding exercises on the Russian border. None of that is true. Russian won’t be goaded into war before she is ready, and she and China have a lot of military rearmament to catch up on before they are ready to take on the West.
What the premature WWIII hypsters don’t understand is that the globalists want this war, but they can’t start it, or be seen directly provoking it. They have to appear as the victims of Russian and Chinese aggression and that’s why they have to wait until the other guy starts something. In fact, that “something” is a nuclear pre-emptive strike on US and NATO strategic forces. The US knows it is coming and intends to absorb that first strike in order to have the pretext to convince Americans to join in a militarized global government in order to prosecute the next war. The secret Presidential Decisions Directive (PDD-60) confirms this by telling our nuclear forces “not to rely on Launch on Warning,” but to “prepare to absorb a nuclear first strike and retaliate afterward.”
The globalist spies within Russia and China also know that neither country intends to strike civilian cities in the West first, but only military targets, trusting that this will force the West into submission without destroying the economies which China and Russia depend upon for technology and trade.
The US has been unilaterally disarming for decades, even knowing that the Russians are cheating on their end and still building weapons, because they want to feign weakness as a means of inviting an attack. I cringe whenever I hear disarmament experts pontificating in the mainstream media about how the Russians have a certain number of warheads and missiles, proving they are “nearly” in compliance with treaties. That’s pure baloney. The US has never been able to inspect Russia’s secret underground nuclear and missile factories and has no idea how many missiles or warheads are there.
Neither do we have any idea how many the Chinese have in their 3,000 miles of underground tunnel systems. I heard one “expert” say this week that China has about 200 warheads. He would only say those were intelligence “estimates.” Those are laughable given China’s massive militarization effort that has been going on for decades.
But the globalists aren’t stupid enough to absorb a nuclear first strike if that leaves them with nothing to win the war with in the long run. I’m convinced they have secret weapons and defense systems hidden away in area 51 and other secret facilities that are designed to survive this first strike and which can prevent any further attacks until the West regroups around its new global government.
I’m often asked when I think this war is going to start. No one can say for sure, because we are dealing with three separate secretive world powers who are never transparent. But military experts reading satellite data can see when there are increases in military equipment and deployed troops. However, contrary to the experience of WWII, this won’t start with troops massing on a national border.
I believe that neither Russian nor Chinese conventional forces will do any noticeable massing outside of their normal military bases. They will rely on the nuclear missiles to do the initial strike and the lack of movement in conventional forces won’t give it away. Such an attack will be temporarily paralyzing to the West and give the Chinese and Russians ample time to then move conventional forces into the invasion mode afterward.
Next, the Russians intend to do a blitzkrieg-style invasion of the Baltic States and Eastern Europe with heavy armor and infantry troops. The Chinese intend to do a massive series of airborne and naval invasions of the entire archipelago of islands to its west, starting with Japan and perhaps simultaneously occupying Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia and finally Australia.
Australia is a key supplier of raw materials and minerals to China—China has already bought up almost all the natural resources in Australia so they must occupy that continent to secure these operating concessions during war. They may also occupy New Zealand because of its close proximity. What would an occupation under the Chinese be like?
The Orientals have a historic reputation of being ruthless as occupiers, and I don’t expect it will be pleasant living under that occupation unless residents there make significant underground (concealed) preparations in advance and are prepared to build a successful resistance movement. This is one of the reasons I discourage Americans from retreating to those two countries. Both have significant rural areas to hide out in, but that’s a hard life when surrounded by snoops and spies looking for foreign nationals to lock up.
The best recent update on Chinese military forces was done by Bill Gertz for the Asian Times. This should leave no doubt about Chinese offensive preparations.
In this planned first strike, the West will have a maximum of 20 minutes advance notice by Satellite sensors. That said, I’m sure the globalists have spies in both countries that will let them know in advance so they can be in their underground bunkers when the missiles fly. But they won’t warn the American people any more than they encourage people to build fallout shelters to ward off the effects of future radiation. They want Americans vulnerable so they are the more easily coerced into giving up national sovereignty in favor of global government.
While I can’t tell you when, I feel strongly that the Russia/Chinese axis won’t strike until they are finished with their current modernization plans, which won’t start coming online in quantity until 2020 and won’t be finished until 2024 or 25.
The first of their newest ballistic missile, the Satan-2 with 15 warheads, won’t be coming off the line until 2018 or 19, and they won’t have the numbers to deploy until after 2020. US Minuteman III missiles are woefully obsolete, and now only have a single warhead mounted instead of three—that’s a three-fold reduction while Russia and China are building new missiles and warheads every month.
But remember that the Russians can’t just win a war with nuclear missiles—which, by the way, DON’T destroy the world many times over. The Russians and Chinese won’t strike until their squadrons of fighters and bombers are multiplied two or three times, and they both need a full blue water navy of Cruisers, destroyers and submarines plus a few aircraft carriers to control the world they conquer. China is building ships faster than Russia and with Russian economic weakness, I don’t think they’ll be able to catch up with China. In any case, a big blue water navy takes years to complete, so my timetable really hasn’t changed, nor can it change because of Western actions. Everyone just has to wait until the enemy is ready to strike and I don’t believe that will be before 2020, and more likely in the middle of the next decade.
I also still believe that North Korea will provide the trigger event; it won’t be in the Middle East. North Korea now has missiles that can reach the entire US and the nuclear warheads to make them lethal. This means that NK can strike the US directly with an over-the-north-pole shot, although I don’t think that’s how it will begin. North Korea, like any aggressor, will seek to have a provocation, and I think that will come when NK attacks South Korea and the US responds in defense of South Korea. If the US uses any of its tactical nukes on North Korea, it could give the North Koreans the excuse to launch missiles at the US. China and Russia, as allies of NK, could then easily excuse their entrance into the war.
So, if you see a full scale invasion of NK into the South, you should expect a nuclear world war within a week or so. Hopefully you will have prepared to NOT be employed by the military when that time comes, or you will be sacrificed by our own government’s failure to Launch on Warning as this attack is ongoing. In addition you should have solidified your plans to relocate out of the major cities. Even if not struck directly, the preliminary EMP strike by China or Russia will take down the grid nationwide and put cities into a panic mode within a day or two as water, electricity and supplies cease to exist. …

TURKEY ADMITS US ARMING ISIS
It seems that the entire phony war on terror is unraveling, and the media is having to work overtime to suppress each leak as it emerges. I’ll bet most of you didn’t hear about Turkey’s President Erdogan admitting that the US is arming ISIS. ZeroHedge.com has the story:

Two days ago, Turkey’s outspoken president Erdogan, now grudgingly pivoting into the Russian sphere of influence and away from NATO, accused the US of supporting and arming ISIS and said he has “confirmed evidence” to back up his claim: “They give support to terrorist groups including ISIS” Erdogan said during a speech in Ankara on Tuesday, adding that US coalition forces “give support to terrorist groups including Daesh, YPG, PYD. It’s very clear. We have confirmed evidence, with pictures, photos and videos.”

Naturally, the US could not possibly let this allegation go without responding, which it did on Wednesday when it denied Erdogan’s allegations, and accusing Turkey of spreading “fake news.”

Here’s what this story tells me:
1) Turkey has fully switched sides and gone over into the Russian realm.
2) Turkey is still hiding its role in aiding ISIS and marketing its oil. Erdogan wants to vilify the US but spare his own sordid reputation in aiding terror.
The larger question is: did the US create this Turkish night club attack to send Erdogan a message about the dangers of betraying US secrets?
In similar news, a John Kerry interview has been leaked where Secretary Kerry admits to the Obama administration’s intentional help to ISIS in Syria. The Conservative Tree House relates:

There are moments within investigative research when your jaw can stand agape as you recognize the scope of what you are reading or hearing. A brutally down-played audio of Secretary John Kerry is just such an occasion.

♦ In August of 2014 President Obama (wearing a tan business suit) gave a press conference where he stated he “did not have a strategy” against ISIS.

♦ Two months later, in October of 2014, Josh Earnest gave a press conference where he stated: “Our ISIS strategy is dependent on something that does not yet exist”

However, on September 30th 2016 the New York Times quietly released a leaked audio recording of Secretary John Kerry meeting with multiple factions associated within Syria. When you listen to the audio recording (embed in above link) it becomes immediately obvious what was going on when both of those 2014 statements were made by the White House. In addition, you discover why this jaw-dropping 2016 leak/story was buried by the U.S. media and how it connects to over 5 years of perplexing U.S. mid-east policy.

This evidence within this single story would/should forever remove any credibility toward the U.S. foreign policy under President Obama. It also destroys the credibility of a large number of well known republicans. What the recording reveals is substantive:

♦ First, only regime change, the removal of Bashir Assad, in Syria was the goal for President Obama. This is admitted and outlined by Secretary John Kerry.

♦ Secondly, in order to accomplish this primary goal, the White House was willing to watch the rise of ISIS by placing their bet that ISIS’s success would force Syrian President Bashir Assad to acquiesce toward Obama’s terms and step down.

♦ Thirdly, in order to facilitate the two objectives, Obama and Kerry intentionally gave arms to ISIS and even, arguably, attacked a Syrian government military convoy to stop a strategic attack upon the Islamic extremists killing 80 Syrian soldiers.

The revelations within this leaked audio are simply astounding. The 40-minute discussion took place on the sidelines of a United Nations General Assembly in New York. The meeting took place at the Dutch Mission to the United Nations on Sept. 22nd 2016:

[…] Kerry’s off-record conversation was apparently with two dozen ‘Syrian civilians’, all from US backed opposition-linked NGO’s in education and medical groups supposedly working in ‘rebel-held’ (aka terrorist-held) areas in Syria.

This opposition conclave also included ‘rescue workers’ which can only be ambassadors from the White Helmets, a pseudo NGO which serves as Washington and London’s primary PR front in pursuit of a “No Fly Zone’ in Syria, and it’s being bankrolled by the US, UK, EU and other coalition states to the tune of well over $100 million (so far).

Key Kerry moments at 02:00, and again at approximately 18:30 forward. The discussion from 18:30 through to 29:00 are exceptionally revealing and should be listened to by anyone who has wondered what was going on in Syria.

Another Israeli PM Accused of Corruption

Every single Israeli prime minister since Menachem Begin has been involved in significant corruption. It comes as no surprise to me that globalist Benjamin Netanyahu has also been charged with corruption. The Associated Press has the story

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was grilled by police investigators for over three hours at his official residence Monday night, opening what could be a politically damaging criminal investigation into suspicions that he improperly accepted gifts from wealthy supporters.

Netanyahu has repeatedly denied wrongdoing, but the involvement of the national fraud squad indicated questions raised about him are considered serious enough to merit an investigation. Police said Netanyahu was questioned “under caution,” a term signaling that anything he said could be used as evidence against him.

Israel’s Justice Ministry later issued a statement saying Netanyahu was questioned “on suspicion of receiving benefits from business people.” The ministry said investigators also had looked into suspicions of campaign finance irregularities and double billing for travel expenses, but determined there was not enough evidence to merit criminal charges.

Israel’s Channel 2 TV has said that Netanyahu accepted “favors” from businessmen in Israel and abroad and that he is the central suspect in a second investigation that also involves family members. [that fits the pattern of other political corruption cases in Israel]

The newspaper Haaretz said billionaire Ronald Lauder, a longtime friend of Netanyahu’s, was linked to the affair. Channel 10 TV has reported that Netanyahu’s oldest son, Yair, accepted free trips and other gifts from Australian billionaire James Packer.

Netanyahu, who took office in 2009, has long had an image as a cigar-smoking, cognac-drinking socialite, while his wife, Sara, has been accused of abusive behavior toward staff. Opponents have portrayed both as being out of touch with the struggles of average Israelis. Over the years, reports have been released about the high cost of the Netanyahus’ housekeeping expenses. In one case, he was chided for spending $127,000 in public funds for a special sleeping cabin on a flight to London.

But he has never been charged with a crime. However, a mounting investigation could put pressure on him to step down, as his predecessor, Ehud Olmert, did in 2008 just months before he was formally indicted on corruption related charges. Olmert is now serving a prison sentence after being convicted of accepting bribes.

A campaign is underway by Erel Margalit, an opposition lawmaker of the Zionist Union party, seeking for Netanyahu to be formally investigated over suspicions of prominent donors improperly transferring money for the prime minister’s personal use as well as reports that Netanyahu’s personal attorney represented a German firm involved in a $1.5 billion sale of submarines to Israel.

I’m inclined to believe the charges, and that they are only the tip of the iceberg. Netanyahu has long been the recipient of globalist favors ever since the Kissinger group paid for his US education and set him up in an office on Wall Street. Netanyahu came to Israel with very little money and is now extremely wealthy. It’s the same way Barack Obama became wealthy in office after having only made $60K a year as a community organizer.
