Onward, Christian Zionists

Published on Feb 9, 2009

Christian Zionists believe that in order to fulfill Biblical prophecy, Israel must conquer most of the Middle East. They are a growing force in American politics with ties to many powerful pro-Israel groups in Washington. Once considered a marginal doctrine among evangelicals, the dispensationalist theology of Christian Zionism includes a belief in the rapture, when the faithful are to be lifted up to Heaven while the rest of humanity—including most of the Jews—will perish.

How the Big Brother controls “alternative” media — Council for National Policy (CNP)

I don’t know how important this group is, but it may be significant. Joyce Riley mentioned the CNP (Council for National Policy) on The Power Hour, 1/22/16 (minute-48:40). Dr. Stanley Monteith invited her to speak at one of their events, and she got a cold response when she mentioned George Bush (didn’t say which one) in relation to the vaccine issue. Doesn’t sound good.

How the Big Brother controls “alternative” media
By Matthew D. Jarvie | Dissecting the New Age 7,008 VIEWS

CNP members from L to R: (Top) Jack McLamb, Dr. Stanley Monteith, Cliff Kincaid, Paul Craig Roberts, (Bottom) Dr. Jerome Corsi, Larry Pratt, Dr. Michael Coffman, Bob Barr.

Pictured above is just a few of the more popular names — especially among followers of the “alternative” media — who are members of the ultra-secret Council for National Policy (CNP). …

Established in 1981 by Tim LaHaye, an evangelical minister, author and speaker, the CNP was founded as a forum for “conservative” politicians, business leaders, members of the media, and evangelical leaders seeking to “strengthen the political right” in the United States. The group’s initial funding was provided by Rockefeller associate Nelson Bunker Hunt. Hunt and the Rockefeller family also played a leading role in the financing of the John Birch Society.

Since 1981, the CNP has been meeting in secret three times a year to set the agenda for the conservative and evangelical movement in the U.S. …

Because of the CNP’s secretive nature, some, including members of the CNP itself, have compared it to the slightly less secretive but more powerful Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). The CNP is often viewed as the right wing’s version of the Eastern Liberal Establishment’s CFR, though when looking through the group’s roster, it doesn’t take long to find many names which are/were also members of the CFR. Surely anyone who has done their homework knows that the Left vs. Right argument is a ruse, and that whether somebody in a position of power claims to be “liberal” or “conservative” they are still — knowingly or unknowingly — working toward the furtherance of the globalist, one world agenda. …

Anyone who believes the CNP to be a benevolent organization needs to consider some of the names that belong to it or were formerly involved with it. To name a few (aside from those already mentioned at the top of the page):

Tom Delay
Rudy Giuliani
Oliver North (Iran-Contra criminal, Rex-84)
Erik Prince (owner of Xe, formerly Blackwater)
John Hagee (Christian-Zionist preacher/paid propagandist for Israel)
Trent Lott
Richard Mellon Scaife (billionaire newspaper publisher)
Sen. John McCain
Dick Armey
Alan Keyes
John Bolton
Ed Feulner (president of the “conservative” Heritage Foundation)
Steve Forbes
Chuck Missler (Conservative bible teacher)
Dick Cheney
Donald Rumsfeld
Mark Sanford
Alberto Gonzalez
Jack Abramoff (convicted felon, Zionist, former lobbyist)
Pat Robertson
Jesse Helms
Dr. Edward Teller (father of the hydrogen bomb)
Paul Weyrich (co-founder of the Heritage Foundation)
Jack Kemp

(video) Pat Robertson Cheating Comments: ‘Well, He’s a Man. Males Have a Tendency to Wander’

Why we’re getting jacked:

This reminds me of: When Billy Graham laughed to minimize Bill Clinton’s adultery

I understand that Pat puts this as a past sin, but the way he says it he also puts it in the continuing present: “He cheated on you, well, he’s a man. … Males have a tendency to wander a little bit. … Think of the temptations that are out there.”

It sounds like he’s enabling and making excuses for the husband to continue to willfully sin in this incredibly serious way as if he, himself has this mindset.

Jesus, Paul and John would have never made excuses for sexual sin. They would call the husband to serious repentance, warning him that otherwise, he can’t be a real, going-to-heaven Christian — let alone what this does to his wife and family — and others.

Spiritual leaders like these are a big reason why the church is mostly no longer Jesus’ bride. Pat is clearly Biblically disqualified to lead. See my links, below.

This is awful — and disgusting!

Loose transcription from MSNBC

Stop talking about the cheating! He cheated on you, well, he’s a man. So what you do is begin to focus on why you married him in the first place, on what he does good. Does he provide a home for you to live in, does he provide food for you to eat, does he provide clothes for you to wear, is he nice to the children, do you have a happy family, does he take your kids to sporting events, does he go out and watch their Little League games, does he share with you stuff that’s going on…is he handsome? Start focusing on those things and essentially fall in love with him all over again.

I recommend you reach out and touch him, touch his face—touch his face—hold his hand, look into his eyes, talk to him, you’re praying oh God, teach me to not hate him when he was with that stripper in that hotel room 10 years ago and I’ll never forgive him kind of thing please –so what are you focusing on? You’re focusing on the thing that makes you mad. Stop that. Start focusing on the good stuff. He must have something good or you wouldn’t have married him.

So give him honor instead of worrying about it. But recognize also, like it or not, males have a tendency to wander a little bit and what you want to do is make a home so wonderful that he doesn’t want to wander. Think of the temptations that are out there, the internet is FILLED with pornography, the magazines are filled with salacious pictures of women. Anywhere you turn around there’s some solicitation to the senses to entice a man.

What you have to do is say, ‘My husband was captured and I want to get him free. But reach out and think of the good stuff. Begin to thank God that you have a marriage that is together and that you live in America and good things are happening.

Pat Robertson On DHS Arms Build-Up: “Who Are They Going to Shoot, Us?”

Pat Robertson On DHS Arms Build-Up: “Who Are They Going to Shoot, Us?”

Televangelist questions Big Sis bullet buys
Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
March 29, 2013
Televangelist Pat Robertson has become the latest prominent conservative to question why the Department of Homeland Security is engaged in an apparent arms build-up, asking if the 1.6 billion bullets purchased by the federal agency will be used against the American people.

Speaking on his CBN broadcast yesterday, Robertson characterized the DHS ammo purchase and its acquisition of armored vehicles as “like something out of science fiction: long trains of full or armored vehicles, personnel carriers with armor.”
What are they for, the Army going into battle against the enemy?” asked Robertson. “They’re used by Homeland Security against us!
Robertson then quoted Ronald Reagan, “The most fearful statement in the English language is ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help’.”
“Imagine what Homeland Security is doing, it’s just awful,” he continued. “We’re going to talk about how much ammunition they’re stockpiling. Who are they going to shoot? Us?”
Robertson’s concern is similar to that expressed by retired United States Army Captain Terry M. Hestilow, who last week sent a letter to Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) warning that the ammo purchases represent “a bold threat of war by that agency (DHS), and the Obama administration, against the citizens of the United States of America.”
The website responsible for uploading the Pat Robertson video clip, Right Wing Watch, echoed other liberal news outlets by erroneously claiming that, “The conspiracy about secretive ammo stockpiling is completely unfounded.”
Their source for that judgment is a February 14 Associated Press report which quotes a single DHS official who claims the bullets are being bought in bulk and are for training purposes only. Apparently, citing the glib statement of one government official is enough to “debunk” concerns about government activity which are now shared by over a dozen members of Congress.
However, as we have exhaustively documented, the notion that the ammo is being purchased in bulk to “save money” is completely erroneous since most of the bullets are hollow point rounds, which are almost twice as expensive as regular full metal jackets and therefore unsuitable for training purposes.
As former Marine Richard Mason told reporters with WHPTV News in Pennsylvania earlier this month, “We never trained with hollow points, we didn’t even see hollow points my entire four and a half years in the Marine Corps.”
In addition, the article derides the issue as a “baseless” conspiracy theory yet fails to mention the fact that over a dozen members of Congress have demanded answers from DHS chief Janet Napolitano, only to be stonewalled.
Earlier this week, a weapons manufacturer who supplies ammunition to the federal government told the nationally syndicated Savage Nation radio show that the ammo purchases were an attempt to “control the amount of market that’s available on the commercial market at any time,” by forcing manufacturers to hold back stock.
Although the DHS has not physically purchased the full amount of 1.6 billion rounds of ammo (although huge quantities are being acquired and delivered to DHS facilities on a regular basis), it has signed contracts forcing manufacturers to set aside that amount of bullets, creating a squeeze on the market.
Ammunition is in short supply across the country, with police departments being forced to barter between themselves to meet demand while gun stores across America have resorted to bullet rationing. Ammunition is now so hard to get that crowds have started forming outside gun stores when new shipments of bullets are being delivered.
While happy to take pot shots at people easy to portray as “right-wing” demagogues, such as Pat Robertson and Sarah Palin, the liberal media continues to portray the DHS arms build-up as a “conspiracy theory” by ignoring the fundamental flaw in the DHS’ explanation for the huge bullet buys – that the “saving money” excuse doesn’t stand up and therefore there must be another reason for the purchases.

Pat Robertson lies about his Chavez comments; claims he “didn’t say ‘ASSASSINATION'”

Elders’ Qualifications from:

2 The overseer therefore MUST be without reproach,* the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, modest, hospitable, good at teaching; 3 not a drinker, not violent [no striker – KJV], not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous …. 7 Moreover he MUST have good testimony from those who are outside, to avoid falling into reproach and the snare of the devil.

From: Media Matters 8/24/05

Responding on the August 24 broadcast of The 700 Club to the outcry over his August 22 comments calling for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, Pat Robertson falsely denied that he used the word “assassination” and claimed that he was “misinterpreted” by the Associated Press….

Robertson issued his denial during an interview with outspoken Chavez critic Thor Halvorssen* on the August 24 broadcast of Christian Broadcasting Network’s The 700 Club:

HALVORSSEN: Now, I think that it’s very important to also note your comments were about assassination. The person — I think that alternative is lowering to his level.

ROBERTSON: Wait a minute, I didn’t say ‘assassination.’ I said our special forces should, quote, “take him out,” and “take him out” can be a number of things including kidnapping. There are a number of ways to take out a dictator from power besides killing him. I was misinterpreted by the AP, but that happens all the time.

In fact, Robertson explicitly called for Chavez’s assassination on the August 22 broadcast of The 700 Club:

ROBERTSON: You know, I don’t know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we’re trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it. It’s a whole lot cheaper than starting a war. … We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don’t need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It’s a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with.

Christianliberal just made this comment in the preceding post, Conservative radio host, Mancow, gets waterboarded to prove the technique isn’t torture, and lasts six seconds before saying waterboarding is “ABSOLUTELY TORTURE”. Since Pat Robertson is such a key evangelical figure, I decided to make this a separate post.

It’s kinda SAD that the right has taken up the banner of torture.

I saw Pat Robertson on TV yesterday and he was defending Dick Cheney’s torture stance.

I have always respected Robertson as a religious leader, but he has lost his spiritual compass when he condones such treatment.

Pastor Chuck Baldwin: Best And Worst Of 2008 — The Religious Right has become nothing more than a gaggle of glorified hacks for the Republican Party

From: News with Views

Internet publishers such as Paul Walter make my “best” list, too. Paul publishes News With Views. He and people such as Jim Rudd at Covenant News have carried my columns for years. These are men who also know what’s going on and are not afraid to print the truth. Thanks, guys. …

In addition to the mainstream media, and worthless talk show hosts such as Sean Hannity, I must include the majority of so-called leaders within the Religious Right as making my “worst” list for 2008. I include James Dobson, Pat Robertson, and Tony Perkins on this list.

For all intents and purposes, the Religious Right has become nothing more than a gaggle of glorified hacks for the Republican Party. They have sacrificed virtually every principle worth defending. For the sake of sitting at the king’s table, or not losing financial support from brain-dead contributors, these men have sold the cause of freedom and constitutional government down the river. Their mindless support for John McCain was inexcusable and embarrassing! In so doing, they have lost all credibility.

Also making my “worst” list in 2008 are the many pastors and church members around the country who continued to support one of the worst Presidents in American history: George W. Bush. This man has taken America to the precipice of financial ruin; he has created the foundation for a police state; he has trampled the Constitution and Bill of Rights like no President since Abraham Lincoln; he has used our bravest and best for his sinister plans of interventionist adventurism; he has set the wheels of global government and national socialism in motion, as has no other President (I’m sure Barack Obama will do more than his share to augment socialism in the United States, but remember, it is George W. Bush that has laid the foundation for the acceptance of national socialism). I’m not sure that America will ever truly recover from his Presidency. Yet, a majority of conservative pastors and church members continue to idolize George Bush. What an embarrassment!

Both the Democrat and Republican Parties make my “worst” list for 2008. In one year, both major parties nominated two men, neither of whom was constitutionally qualified to be President of the United States. Now, that’s quite a feat!

The Council on Foreign Relations, international bankers, and other global elitists also make my “worst” list for 2008. When will the people of America awaken to the reality that our worst enemies are not “liberals” and “leftists,” as much as they are the global elitists who control the Federal Reserve and other internationalist entities that are committed to dismantling America’s independence and sovereignty?

Who Picks Obama’s Cabinet? Why Did Jimmy Carter Cry?

Many are disappointed by President-elect Barack Obama’s cabinet member picks. But the elite that chose and vaulted him get to choose his cabinet too.

Here’s a lesson from history.

From: The New World Order, 1991, p. 104-5, by Pat Robertson, transcribed by Jeff Fenske

After the general election in November, I spoke to President-Elect Carter during  three-way telephone conversation along with pro-family activist Lou Sheldon of California. I suggested to Governor Carter that he, as a strong evangelical, might want to include some evangelical Christians among his appointments. He greeted the idea with enthusiasm and agreed to receive a list if we could get it to him within two weeks.

Lou Sheldon and I worked night and day to put together a short roster of names and resumes. The finished product was outstanding. All of the candidates were Democrats. All were highly distinguished in government, business, or education.  …

When the document was ready, I chartered a small aircraft to take Lou Sheldon to the grassy strip in Georgia we laughingly called “Plains International.” Sheldon arrived at the Carter residence to find the next president barefoot and in blue jeans. They greeted each other warmly, and Sheldon proudly presented the booklet. Carter took it, read it, and began to cry.

When he got back to Virginia Beach, Sheldon said, “Jimmy was so touched by all the work that we did that tears came to his eyes.” I said, “Lou, you are wrong. The reason he cried is because the appointment process is out of his hands, and he is not going to appoint any of those people.” And indeed my words were true. not one of our recommendations—men and women who on the surface shared every principle that Jimmy Carter espoused—was appointed to public office, or even seriously considered.

On yesterday’s edition of The 700 Club, Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson sharply criticized the “moderate tone” the Bush administration has allegedly taken toward Iran and its nuclear weapons program. Robertson advocated that Israel look out for the “survival of its nation” and “make some kind of a strike” against Iranian nuclear facilities. He also predicted that it will likely happen before the 2008 elections:

But nevertheless, I think we can look in the next few months for Israel to make a strike — possibly before the next election — because I think George Bush — to use the term an “amber light” — he’s given the amber, the yellow light, saying, “Caution, but go ahead.”

ROBERTSON: I’ve been very surprised that we’ve taken the moderate tone we have so far. I think we’re making a mistake.

Skousen: Chuck Baldwin Wins Constitution Party Nomination for President

World Affairs Brief, May 2, 2008. Commentary and Insights on a Troubled World.

Copyright Joel Skousen. Partial quotations with attribution permitted. Cite source as Joel Skousen’s World Affairs Brief.

CHUCK BALDWIN WINS CONSTITUTION PARTY NOMINATION FOR PRESIDENT

I was delighted to hear that Pastor Chuck Baldwin won the Constitution Party nomination for president over the very talented Alan Keyes.   Alan Keyes is a good man. He ran against Barak Obama for the Senate race in Illinois, but his being part of the black minority didn’t help him garner any endorsements from the establishment.  He was TOO conservative and the media hates black conservatives.  Keyes is a dynamic speaker with few peers, but (in my opinion) sometimes plays to the audience too much with catchy phrases designed mostly to drum up applause and trigger religious fervor-at the expense of more substantive discussions.  These kinds of speeches play well to the conservative-Christian choir and provide political excitement, but ultimately narrows the candidates appeal by turning away those who aren’t interested in organized religion or who are suspicious of a flamboyant preacher-type style.

In the brief of April 18th, I brought up the problem of the traditional political approach of the Constitutional Party being too narrowly focused on its core supporters–all ardent evangelical Christians.  If the party is going to grow it needs to more closely emulate Ron Paul’s approach by championing liberty for all without excessive religious rhetoric in speeches–which makes non religious conservatives uncomfortable about using the role of government to enforce religious values (where there is no violation of fundamental rights to life, liberty, property and family covenants).

Those who know my political writings know that I do support an elected officials’ right to make reference to and appeal to God (even in prayer) as part of his service to the nation, but he should do so judiciously and sincerely since pushing God openly is a favored political ploy of the most ungodly politicians.  Bill Clinton, for example, would use the name of God (in vain, of course) just to impress naive Christians.  Then there is George Bush Jr., wily enough to verbally support being “Born Again” while maintaining his furtive allegiance to with the satanic power cult/club Skull and Bones.

I’ll take an honest, straight-talking statesman like Ron Paul, who follows conscience in his daily walk with Christ, than one of the many charismatic televangelist preachers like Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, John Hagee, Billy Graham and others who compromise with the world in order to gained access to high level establishment leaders. The personal prestige that gained by such associations is illusory.  The establishment despises religious leaders who seek their approval and fail to see they are being played the fool.

Fenske: Why is Pat Robertson Supporting Giuliani?

This started as a response to a close friend who was thinking this way about why Pat has endorsed Rudy:

To me, it seems obvious why Robertson endorsed Giuliani. He’s supporting Giuliani against Romney.

He’d rather have a liberal than a Mormon.

A partial explanation.

If Robertson is so anti-Mormon, then why did he allow Romney to give the commencement address at Regent?

The former Massachusetts governor is to give the commencement address Saturday at Robertson’s Regent University in Virginia, a golden opportunity to reach core GOP voters.

Pat stated why he is supporting Giuliani, because basically he wants the most pro-war President possible.

“The overriding issue before the American people, is the defense of our population against the bloodlust of Islamic terrorists,” Robertson told the National Press Club audience. “Our world faces deadly peril…and we need a leader with a bold vision who is not afraid to tackle the challenges ahead.”

Pat recently, again stated how right he was by calling for Chavez’ assassination.

Robertson is amillennialist, right, thinking the millennium is now? And apparently he’s counting on military might to get ‘er done; though, in reality he’s actually supporting Satan’s globalist, one-world-government agenda, for these wars seem to me to be designed to take out the opposition to the one-world government.

Why doesn’t Robertson ever support the candidate with the most Christian values at the beginning of the race, when they need name recognition and support? Why didn’t he support Keyes in ‘90, but loudly supported Bush? Why has he totally dissed Paul? Ron Paul would have a huge chance of winning had the religious right leaders supported him from early on. He still could win if people would become aware of what he could do for America, but most people still don’t even know who he is. No prominent religious leader will give him even one interview, let alone help America understand why Paul’s policies are so Godly, powerful, and loving.

Robertson unconstitutionally wants government to control people, to push his agenda. Paul wants government off of people’s backs, so the states can decide matters that aren’t in the Constitution. Ron Paul is hope for America. Giulliani will continue its destruction. And only Paul can beat Hillary. Unless Hillary’s evil acts get more coverage.

In the ‘70s, I actually enjoyed very, very much watching The 700 Club. It actually had a lot of good, sound Christian teaching on it. But when Pat turned it into a political platform along with religious soundbites, it no longer appealed to me, but felt weird and yukky. And more than one female co-host has had serious problems largely from their experiences with Pat. It is said that Danuta Soderman no longer claims to be a Christian.

Danuta Soderman, Pat Robertson’s former colleague and former “700 Club” co-host, told Freedom Writer that Robertson’s strange views hinder the advancement of the Christian Coalition. She said Robertson’s unusual and extreme beliefs sunk his 1988 presidential campaign and now impairs the Christian Coalition.

A five-year co-host with Robertson on the “700 Club,” Soderman worked with him during his unsuccessful bid for the Republican nomination for president. …

Soderman, who no longer considers herself a Christian, said that the people who work for Pat Robertson “need to ask questions and to learn to think for themselves.”

And Sheila Walsh had a “nervous breakdown” while working with Pat. I’ve always liked Sheila:

Ideological differences with Robertson and general feelings of hopelessness and depression[1] After leaving Robertson’s enterprises in 1992 she sought therapy for her depression, eventually returning to college at Fuller Theological Seminary in California to take on doctoral studies in theology. Pat Robertson explained her departure from CBN as the result of a “Nervous Breakdown” brought on by the tremendous demands of her work with CBN. He asked his viewers to keep her in their prayers and ask God to give her the strength to continue doing his work. brought Walsh to re-examine her life’s direction.

She went on to write a book exploring her struggle with depression and her experiences with her faith as a Christian, entitled Honestly.

Is it possible that Pat has become a wolf in sheep’s clothing? Has the love of money and maybe even power overtaken Pat? This is serious, and he’s leading millions astray, politically and spiritually.

America should change the channel.

Pat Robertson’s Deceptive Tithing Doctrine: ” an irreducible MINIMUM,” “ANTICIPATORY tithing”

Pat Robertson ANSWERS TO 200 OF LIFE’S MOST PROBING QUESTIONS

THOMAS NELSON PUBLISHERS NASHVILLE

In determining a giving pattern, the Christian should consider 10 percent as an irreducible minimum. We belong to the Lord and so do all our possessions. Therefore:, what we give should be determined by God’s leading in our lives [Exactly. “God’s leading, period.” Not a percentage from the Old Covenant as being a starting point, designed to finance the Levites. Pastors aren’t of the Levitical priesthood, and we are now capable of being Spirit-led – jeff] may give 25 percent, others 50 percent. Some might use 10 percent to live on and give away 90 percent.

We give as God has blessed us. I believe there is also merit in the concept of anticipatory tithing. Consider the income that you anticipate receiving, and tithe as if you already had it.

Tithing was in the old covenant, Old Testament law so the Levitical priesthood would have income no matter what. Now that Jesus died on the cross and the Holy Spirit has been given, the law is now written in Christians’ hearts. So the Holy Spirit now helps us determine how much and where to give. This is the new and better way spoken of in Hebrews 7 and:

2 Cor. 9:7: Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart….

In Acts 15, the elders decided to keep only a few practices from the old covenant, none of which was tithing.

Teaching viewers to give 10% of their income helps keep The 700 Club on the air whether it’s God’s will or not. Many ‘churches’ do the same, teaching ‘benchmark’ tithing (10% should be the minimum).

But Pat goes one step further:

“I believe there is also merit in the concept of anticipatory tithing. Consider the income that you anticipate receiving, and tithe as if you already had it.”

Paul warned us about the love of $$money$$:

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1Tim. 6:10 (WEB)

Pat Robertson Hides Business Interests In War-Torn Liberia

From: Rense.com

TV preacher Pat Robertson has repeatedly criticized the Bush administration over its handling of the crisis in Liberia without once mentioning his own personal business interests in the country.

In recent days, Robertson has used his nationally broadcast television show to charge that the U.S. government has sought to destabilize Liberia and oust President Charles Taylor. Although Taylor is a brutal dictator under indictment for war crimes by the United Nations, he is a business partner of Robertson.
