Alaskans remember when she was governor and the damage she did to the state’s economy when she jacked up the taxes on oil so high that the oil companies stopped seriously exploring here and took their investment to the shale fields in the Lower 48.
A progressive tax called ACES, or “Alaska’s Clear and Equitable Share,” was such a disaster for the state that it was undone under the governor who followed Palin, conservative Republican Sean Parnell.
Parnell spent a good deal of political capital undoing that tax, which was a 90 percent government take when oil prices were high.
Palin taxed and spent so much on government that it took everything Parnell had to try to land the spending plane when he came into office in 2009. She left a combination of a terrible tax scheme and high government spending.
Palin didn’t like the undoing of her onerous tax and spending programs, which she had crafted with the help of legislative Democrats.
When Parnell, who had been her lieutenant governor, ran for re-election as governor 2014, five years after Palin quit office, Palin stabbed Parnell in the back and endorsed his opponent, Bill Walker, the Democratic Party’s chosen candidate. Walker won….

The pro-Putin wing of US conservatives is talking up David Stockman’s latest analysis that tries to explain why Putin is not a threat and why we should not be concerned with the loss of Ukraine. Stockman’s piece at the libertarian site, LewRockwell.com is entitled, “Washington Is Delirious With War Fever – For No Reason of Homeland Security.”
A Disney executive vowed more inclusivity in its productions — as the entertainment giant works to make underrepresented groups, such as racial minorities and the LGBTQ community, account for at least 50 percent of its regular characters by the end of the year.
Karey Burke, president of Disney’s General Entertainment Content, said the company must do more to make its content more inclusive in a company-wide Zoom call Monday that was later posted to Twitter. “I’m here as a mother of two queer children, actually,” Burke said on the call. “One transgender child and one pansexual child, and also as a leader.”

Many readers have noted the extent to which the teachers’ unions idea of “science” has dictated federal, state and local governments’ policies regarding school closures, masking, and other Covid-related issues.
There has been quite the kerfuffle lately about how the teachers’ unions got to essentially write the Centers for Disease Control’s national policy on school closures. Allegedly, it went so far as the unions having been able to actually dictate the wording of the policy memorandum issued by CDC.
This 15-minute segment is more about cholesterol than sulfur.
Sulfur is also crucial, and avoided by Big Pharma, because it would drastically cut their profits.
What if all liars would always be this vividly exposed?
