False Claim: The Boston Marathon 'Family Guy' episode was doctored to look like Peter was triggering bombs

CORRECTION to this earlier post: Recent ‘Family Guy’ Episode Predicted Boston Marathon Attack — The image of Peter killing the Boston Marathon runners even shows blood and missing limbs
Joel Skousen just wrote in today’s World Affairs Brief [I love Joel’s dedication to finding and telling the truth no matter where it leads!]:

False Claims: There was a posting to the internet of a false conspiracy claiming that a previous episode of The Family Guy had shown a guy sitting at a table triggering bombs to go off at the Boston Marathon by using his cell phone. In reality it was someone cutting and pasting excerpts from the TV show to make it look like foreknowledge of the current disaster.

Infowars said the episode was pulled online. So they weren’t able to fact-check it. A Facebook friend just gave me this link to where at least it can now be seen. I don’t know if this site is affiliated with FOX or not: familyguy.ws/turban-cowboy
The phone call at minute-15 was spliced with Boston Marathon footage. It probably would be pretty easy to seamlessly and convincingly edit low def cartoons.
I apologize for the confusion. I’m completely leery of Rupert Murdoch and FOX. I’ve so many times seen them spin the good (like Ron Paul) to make it look like it’s evil, and then actually push the evil. I wrote the following article at ONEcanhappen about FOX’s owner, Rupert Murdoch and FOX: Is Murdoch’s NIV the ‘N’ew ‘I’lluminati ‘V’ersion? Has the Word of God Been Corrupted to Bring US Into the New World Order?, and have an entire category here at ToBeFree, called FOX News is SPIN Central (Latest posts appear first; 10 posts per page).

April 15th is tax day across the nation, and Tax Protest Day sponsored annually by Tea Party organizations across the country also just happened to fall on the 15th this year. On top of this, in Massachusetts, Patriots Day (a civic holiday celebrating the battles of Lexington and Concord) is held on the third Monday of April every year, which just happened to be the 15th this year. Oath Keepers, a constitutional organization often wrongly attacked as a “domestic extremist group” by the DHS and SPLC, just happened to have a large pro-freedom rally scheduled for the 19th of April at Lexington Green in Massachusetts. Are we starting to get the picture here? With the Senate in the midst of the most blatant attack on our 2nd Amendment rights in history following the passage of the absurdly fascist NDAA and the White House’s unwillingness to remove American citizens as potential targets for executive ordered assassination, and with multiple states now implementing draconian gun restrictions and even confiscations, public opinion is clearly turning against the Federal Government. Wouldn’t it be beneficial for their agenda if it turned out that the Boston Marathon Bombing was executed by a group of “pro-gun anti-income tax anti-government domestic terrorists”, or maybe just Constitutionalists and Liberty Movement activists that are labeled as such? http://www.joelskousen.com

The ongoing story about Cyprus’ intent to raid all savings accounts in this tiny republic is really about a heist mandated by the EU bailout commission—and that’s because the shady bank economy in this island tax haven is around eight times the size of the real economy there. The EU decided to force Cyprus to raid bank deposits, the only ready source of funds. The announcement came on a Saturday when banks were closed but news of the “tax” caused a firestorm of protest and thousands ran to the ATMs and tried to empty as much of their accounts as possible. This move by the EU has poisoned the trust in banks all over Europe creating instability for most Western economies. OBAMA SIGNS MONSANTO PROTECTION LANGUAGE INTO LAW
Monsanto has been taking farmers to court if they find any GMO seed growing on their property that was not purchased via Monsanto. The courts have continually backed Monsanto ignoring possibilities of cross-pollination or Monsanto seeds getting into the fields inadvertently. A backlash is building in America against this giant predator in seeds, so unprincipled members of Congress have inserted language into a bill to protect Monsanto from the farmers, rather than protect the farmers from the GMO seed giant. Activist Post reported that,

President Obama signed HR 933 into law with biotech rider Sec. 735 – dubbed the Monsanto Protection Act – still contained. Simply put, the rider hidden in the text of the Farmer Assurance Provision – and has nothing to do with Continuing Resolution spending (HR 933) – protects Monsanto from the court system should they want to halt illegally planted or hazardous genetically modified crops. The USDA already gives biotech companies like Monsanto the thumbs up, trusting Monsanto’s own safety evaluations. Now the court system cannot intervene, which could prove detrimental to farmers who are sued by Monsanto for patent infringement when their GM seeds contaminate those farmers’ fields.

NORTH KOREA STILL THREATENING
It’s almost as if the North Koreans are trying to see how far they can push the US without the US doing anything in return. As CNN said Wednesday,

North Korea on Tuesday served up its latest round of threats against the United States, saying it plans to place military units tasked with targeting U.S. bases under combat ready status. The Supreme Command of the North Korean military said it “will put on the highest alert all the field artillery units including strategic rocket units and long-range artillery units, which are assigned to strike bases of the U.S. imperialist aggressor troops in the U.S. mainland and on Hawaii and Guam and other operational zone in the Pacific, as well as all the enemy targets in South Korea and its vicinity.” Angered by tougher U.N. sanctions and joint military exercises by the United States and South Korea, Pyongyang has issued a range of bombastic threats in recent weeks.

Today, NK leader Kim Jong-Un said he was putting his strategic rocket strikes on alert preparing to attack the US military bases in Guam and Hawaii. He said he was enraged by US stealth bombers (B2) flew training runs over South Korea. US military commanders calmly responded that they are prepared to handle NK should they try anything,
However, if the US isn’t careful others are going to start noticing the huge dichotomy between US aggressive threats against Iran, who doesn’t even have a nuclear weapon, and the passive and permissive approach to North Korea, the most tyrannical and unstable regime in the world that has nuclear weapons and the missiles to send them to Alaska and Hawaii.
I’m still discounting these threats as real. The North Korean army is tightly controlled by China who won’t let North Korea trigger a war on the US until China and Russia are ready to launch their long-awaited war on the West. But, obviously, NK feels the constant need to keep their troops on alert. How else to you keep an armed camp believing in your harangues?

Pilot feels ‘blessed’ after surviving plane crash

Joel Skousen isn’t sure how many times he’s piloted an airplane and landed safely.

But he certainly knows how many times he’s crashed one.

The 67-year-old Orem man was flying his Glasair I home from a job in Las Vegas when the plane had a problem with the flow of fuel, causing the engine to stall, according to Spanish Fork Police Lt. Matt Johnson.

“It’s the first time I’ve done an accident, an engine-out landing to a field,” said Skousen.

He attempted to land the plane safely in a field near 1950 North and 300 West, but the condition of the field caused the landing gear to dig into the soil. The plane was completely totaled in the wreck, after flipping and partially detaching the wings, Johnson said. …

He also said there was a moment when he realized he was OK, that he got emotional.

“It’s really tough to go through an accident,” Skousen said. “I’m very blessed. There’s no other way to describe coming out of that with only a couple of scratches.”

Joel Skousen Survives Plane Crash: My Scrape with Death this Week! — 75mph to zero in less than 2 seconds, and there I was sitting amidst the wreckage completely OK!

Praise God — only a few scrapes and stiff muscles!!!

I never lost consciousness during the crash and violent tumbling but I was surprised how quickly it all ended (75 mph to zero in less than 2 seconds, estimated), and there I was sitting amidst the wreckage completely OK, except for the shock of it all. The final outcome was in the hands of God and I’m thankful for His mercy.

And Joel is also an experienced, former U.S. fighter-jet pilot, whose analytical, careful, emotions-in-control response not only helps in critiquing current events….

MY SCRAPE WITH DEATH THIS WEEK
On a personal note, the private plane I pilot regularly for travel lost power from a fuel blockage and I had to ditch it into a recently plowed cornfield this week. I was only 1/4 mile short of the runway but I chose to turn at the last minute toward the farmland to avoid people and property between me and the airfield, even knowing it wasn’t going to turn out good for the airplane. I’m glad I had that choice.
The field was too soft to support a landing so the landing gear dug in and the plane tumbled and broke apart. The composite fuselage broke in half right where I was sitting and separated from the lower wing. The tumbling was violent enough to actually tear my seat belt apart so all I had to do when it came to a stop is step out onto the ground through the broken fuselage.
Miraculously, I was completely unhurt except for a few minor cuts and bruises (which showed up a day later–along with every muscle being stiff). Many of my friends who came over from the airport shook their heads in amazement after looking at the airplane and remarked how lucky I was.
Well, it wasn’t luck or skill other than having the presence of mind to bring a powerless plane in for a landing without stalling—which is always fatal. Gliding in, the tendency is to stretch the glide to avoid a fence or pick a better spot to land and the pilot who does that usually stalls and spirals in vertically, which you can’t survive. In fact, recently, I had just read a story in Flying magazine about an experienced military pilot like myself who did just that, and I remembered all the way down, “don’t get slow.”
And, thanks to all those who expressed concern for my welfare in emails. News videos and pictures were online, so news spread pretty rapidly. I guess you never know quite how you are appreciated until you come close to death.

RAMPANT INFLATION IN LATIN AMERICA
Argentina and Venezuela are running between 22 and 30% inflation as corruption feeds those who run the government. Deficits are used to finance the growing burden of social welfare schemes, and a devalued currency keeps exports alive. All governments manipulate their inflation rates. Japan has doubled its rate of inflation but is still claiming only 2%. Real inflation is almost 10%. Argentina claims 10.8% but it is at least 25% and rising rapidly. Brazil is up to an official 5% but real rates are at least double that. Uruguay is running an official rate of 9%.
I lived in South America when another such inflationary cycle was going on. Each nation is trying to boost exports by making their money cheaper (devaluation by printing). The others have to devalue their currency in order to keep pace in the MERCOSUR economic market. Eventually, they end up knocking off 3 or 6 zeros and starting over.
All of those predicting the collapse of the dollar need to understand that the dollar is going to look even stronger as this plays out—as others inflate, percentage wise, more than the FED. No currency is strong—it’s just a relative race to the bottom, but it won’t happen all that fast (at least in the US).

STATE OF THE UNION—THE ART OF LYING
Reading or listening to the annual State of the Union address to Congress is an exercise of mental and spiritual anguish, as I work to unravel the sophisticated lies, flattery, half truths and distortions that speech writers weave into every sentence of the speech. Senator Rubio’s Republican response provided no respite. His speech was carefully crafted to focus more on the glories of the “poor working class” as he maneuvers for a future run on the presidency than it was to provide a strong rebuttal to Obama. In the end it was nearly as bad at pandering to social welfare programs and playing on the false hopes of conservatives for change.
Listening to the pundits on NPR praise Obama’s “assertiveness,” “boldness,” and broad strokes of “genius,” without ever addressing the dishonesty of his positions was equally painful. Here’s my straightforward rebuttal to Obama’s grand deception.

MESSED UP LA POLICE DEPARTMENT
There’s more to this story than the standard media line about a police officer gone rogue: “Former Los Angeles police officer Christopher Dorner, 33, was wanted in a killing spree targeting law enforcement officers that left four people dead. A man matching his description was surrounded in the San Bernardino National Forest on Tuesday.”
Reuters and other mainstream media omitted a lot when they mildly said, “Police provided security details to over 50 LAPD officers and their families who were believed to be threatened by Dorner, when he named specific enemies in his rambling manifesto.”
In fact, trigger happy police went berserk protecting their own. Officers protecting the houses of Torrance police officers, opened fired without provocation on two women delivering newspapers. The police had been given the wrong description of the vehicle and wounded the two women and riddled the truck with bullets. Another driver was injured when a police cruiser crashed into him and the officer jumped out and opened fire on the suspected truck.
“But the pickups were different makes and colors. And Perdue, the victim, looks nothing like Dorner: He’s several inches shorter and about a hundred pounds lighter. And Perdue is white; Dorner is black.”
“I don’t want to use the word buffoonery but it really is unbridled police lawlessness,” said Robert Sheahen, Perdue’s attorney. “These people need training and they need restraint.” But the courts almost always side with the police against citizens. The taxpayers will have to foot the bill again for over-aggressive cops, who will get off with barely a reprimand.
So what ticked off this cop to turn against the department and go on a rampage? Reuters provides some clues: “Dorner lost his job with the Los Angeles Police Department in 2008 after a police board of inquiry found he had lied in accusing a training officer of using excessive force against a homeless man.” The board of inquiry is internal to police and, like the courts, tends to protect their own against whistleblowers like Dorner.
The LAPD has a long history of thuggishness and abuse, which were highlighted in the Rodney King affair and the LA riots. Trigger-happy cops shooting unarmed vehicles during this affair proved that things are worse than ever.
This saga begins with the fact that Dorner felt he was unjustly fired for blowing the whistle on another officer. Dorner obviously had severe control problems himself to go on the rampage, but there was likely wrongdoing on both sides. The real issue (that should have appeared during his hearing) is the culture of excessive force and lack of restraint by officers in big metropolitan police departments and nowhere is this lack of restraint more obvious than in the LAPD and how they reacted to this threat.
“Last Wednesday, Dorner was named as the prime suspect in a double slaying that occurred the weekend before… Police say he killed a university security officer and his fiancée, the 28-year-old daughter of a retired LAPD captain who represented Dorner in disciplinary action that led to his termination.”
I don’t know if Dorner was telling the truth about the specific case brought against him but given the quantity of stories arising in the news about police abuse I’m inclined to think it’s true, but we’ll never know now. While chief Beck claims he will reopen the case on Dorner’s dismissal, you can bet it would only be to confirm the official story against Dorner.
What is particularly suspicious is the way in which Dorner was killed. Like the Waco fiasco where tear gas ignited a burning inferno ending a siege against the men, women and children of the Branch Davidians (and a massive cover-up of government intrigue and wrongdoing), Dorner too was burned up in a fire at a cabin in Big Bear, Ca where he had fled after a running gun battle with Fish and Wildlife police. His death ensured that he won’t ever be allowed to tell his side of this sordid tale.
Reuters’ headline said “Tear gas may have inflamed cabin where fugitive ex-LA cop believed dead.” and “Fugitive cop believed killed in fire after shootout.” Naturally, the Sheriff in charge of the operations denies any intent to burn him out. “We did not intentionally burn down that cabin to get Mr. Dorner out,” said San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon.
However, “Los Angeles-based CBS television affiliate, KCAL, and CNN, have broadcast an audio recording of what sounds like police radio chatter during the confrontation at the lodging. On the tape, voices purported to be officers shout, ‘get the gas, burn it down.’” At another point the recordings of the chatter over the police scanner includes police discussing “the plan with the burners.”
“Burners” is a term used to describe tear gas partly because they are known to cause fires, but these recording clearly show that the fire wasn’t just an accidental effect of the tear gas. Later over the scanner an officer says “The burners are deployed, and we have a fire.”
As Infowars.com reports, “Police also made no attempt to extinguish the fire once it started despite having fire trucks nearby, again indicating that they wanted to burn Dorner alive. Photos of the cabin taken after the incident show the building burned completely to the ground.” –just like Waco.
It’s also worth noting that the police departments shut down scanner communication after the fire started and ordered tweets and live updates from newscasters to stop—presumably to stop Dorner from getting updates from the newscasts. By this point, however, it was too late for that information to help Dorner, it appears only to help cover-up the actions of the police department. Expect these kinds of news blackouts to be called earlier and more often during standoffs.

NORTH KOREANS AMONG 40 DEAD AT IRAN NUKE PLANT
Often I will delay covering a story waiting for crucial information to emerge. The story of the sabotage and explosion of Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility was just such a story that needed more time. WND.com had some unique sources that shed light on what happened: “The explosions at Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility Jan. 21 killed at least 40 people, including two North Koreans… At the time of the explosions, the source said, 203 Iranian scientists and technicians along with 16 North Koreans had been logged in at the site, though the initial report listed 240 people.
“The day before the explosions, the North Koreans had brought in new equipment, described by the source as touch-screen monitors the size of TVs that were installed in the monitoring room and some new parts that were installed in the centrifuges before the start of the enrichment process. The explosions were reported exclusively by WND [about] the trapped workers including 16 North Koreans: 14 technicians and two military attaches. The source said many of the centrifuges have been destroyed and rescuers have still not accessed the reserves of the 20 percent stock of enriched uranium to assess the level of radiation.”
The importance of this story is twofold: 1) that North Korea is integrally involved in transferring technology to Iran and therefore we can assume that Iran specifically needs their help because they are working toward developing nuclear weapons, just as North Korea is doing. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why the media is not giving any play to this story—to avoid highlighting the obvious hypocrisy with regard to US leniency toward NK compared to Iran. If the US attacks Iran over nuclear weapons, it should attack North Korea just as vigorously because NK is even farther along and a direct threat to US troops in South Korea.
2) The infiltration of explosives was surely an Israeli operation and demonstrates that Israel is still the very best at dirty tricks in the Middle East. But the crippling of the Iranian enrichment facility also sets back the Iranian nuclear plans for a long time and thus denies PM Netanyahu the urgency he is demanding in attacking Iran. Perhaps that is another reason why even the Israeli media does not elaborate on the extensive damage. Certainly Israel does not want the rationale for the attack to go away.
Israel and the other globalist plotters in the West aren’t just trying to destroy Iran’s nuclear structure, they really want Iran’s substantial military capabilities decapitated and China’s access to gas and oil in Iran cut off. Only a joint Israel/US air war accomplishes that, and it is still coming. “Solving” the threat by sabotage would neutralize the reason for a larger attack. I can only conclude that the attack on the Fordow facility was to encourage Iran to retaliate and not to solve the Iranian nuclear threat.
Business Insider reinforced that view when it observed, “Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel was simply not strong enough to force a halt to Iran’s nuclear enrichment program. In order to halt the program, Bibi said, the U.S. would have to strike, and they must do so this year.”
The globalists are desperate to move along with their Middle East agenda to take down both Syria and Iran. This week Israel finally admitted that it was responsible for the air incursion and attack near Baghdad claiming they were targeting a truck convoy carrying anti-aircraft weapons bound for the militant group Hezbollah in neighboring Lebanon. As usual, they were lying. Here’s the real story.
As Jason Ditz wrote this week, “The US Green Lit Israeli Attacks on Syria, and Approves Future Strikes.” The White House not only gave the green light to Israel’s Wednesday attacks on Syria, but they also offered a blanket approval for future strikes. The Wednesday attacks targeted several different sites in Syria, and the Syrian government has shown footage of the aftermath of an attack on a military research facility, one which experts claim was regularly visited by Russian military personnel.
“The reports on the ‘weapons convoy’ heading to Syria have also been revised, with the latest reports saying the Syrian vehicles with weapons on board were actually parked at a military base in Zabadani, not actually on the road heading to Lebanon.
“Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has become the first administration official to go on record about the attacks, saying that the US ‘fully backed’ Israel in attacking Syria, adding that the US was concerned about possible transfers of anti-aircraft weapons because they might be used against ‘civilian aircraft.’ [another lie] It is worth noting that the US-backed rebels in Syria have openly talked about attacking civilian planes, but the regime has shown no interest in doing so [Of course. They know the US would love to have that as an excuse to get NATO to intervene].
“Reports also suggest that in addition to Israeli attacks on Syria, the US is interested in launching attacks of its own, and that it is planning to attack targets around the northern city of Aleppo if the rebels get too close to chemical weapons depots [In fact, the rebels are heading in that direct specifically to give the US an excuse to intervene].
“Which might not suit Turkey too well [who is] cheerfully backing the rebels in Syria’s civil war, but blasted Israel for attacking them, and went on to condemn Syria for not retaliating, with Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu mocking Assad [goading him to retaliate] for failing to ‘even throw a pebble when Israeli jets were flying over his palace.’”
“The common media position is that ‘Israel has publicly warned that it would take military action to prevent the Syrian regime’s chemical weapons falling into the hands of Hezbollah in Lebanon or ‘global jihadists’ fighting inside Syria. Israeli military intelligence is said to be monitoring the area round the clock via satellite for possible convoys carrying weapons.” (source: UK Guardian)
But the hypocrisy of the Israeli and US position in Syria is summed up best by this commentator, at landdestroyer.blogspot.com: “In reality, these “global jihadists” are in fact armed and funded by the US, Saudi Arabia, and Israel since at least as early as 2007. They are also in fact the direct beneficiaries of Israel’s recent aggression. The Israeli ‘suspicions’ of ‘weapon transfers’ of course, remain unconfirmed, because the purpose of the attack was not to prevent the transfer of ‘chemical weapons’ to Hezbollah in Lebanon, but to provoke a wider conflict aimed not at Israel’s defense, but at salvaging the West’s floundering proxy terrorist forces inside Syria attempting to subvert and overthrow the Syrian nation.”
I’m embarrassed to be an American when I see all these deceitful tactics being used to justify globalist intervention in other nations that present no threat to us. Sure, they aren’t good people but the world is full of problems. Would that our government was actually trying to solve something instead of provoking more wars and conflict, replacing tyrants with jihadists.

PRESIDENT TAKES UP SHOOTING TO BOOST GUN CONTROL
As the gun control agenda moves into high gear—mostly in the media, the White House dirty tricks gang came up with a new propaganda stunt to make it look like the president is an avid hunter and aficionado of shotguns by taking pictures of Obama at a Camp David range shooting skeet.
Obama immediately got panned for the stunt. As one experienced skeet shooter wrote, “I know a thing or two about skeet shooting. In this sport you have beginner shooters who don’t really know what they are doing, you have amateurs that are ‘regular’ shooters who take it seriously, and you have guys and gals that shoot 25 out of 25, again and again. The following is a picture of a person who has not shot skeet before. [Widely published picture of Obama shooting a shotgun from the news] This person doesn’t know how to hold the gun properly. This person is going to get a big recoil in the arm that will hurt.
“No one has bothered to show this person how to hold a gun. This person has not been taught how to position the body to make a successful shot. This person has no chance of hitting a moving target. This person is not wearing the proper clothing for a skeet range (padded vest that has pockets for 25 shells). This person is pretending to shoot skeet.”
Yes, Obama is the pretend president in a lot of ways, but that does not stop the PTB from planning his (and his family’s) day around lots of propaganda stunts and photo shoots.
The media is really putting the pressure on to disallow future gun sales in private. NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre warned on Fox News that “‘Closing the federal loophole that allows Americans to buy guns in private transactions without having gone through a background check would be a slippery slope,’ …and suggested that President Obama and his administration would insist on taking it a step further with a so-called ‘universal background check.’ LaPierre said on Fox News Sunday, ‘I think [what] they’ll do is they’ll turn this universal check on the law-abiding into a universal registry on law-abiding people. ‘Obamacare’ , for example, ‘wasn’t a tax until they needed it to be a tax. I don’t think you can trust these people.’” Indeed.
To illustrate the untrustworthy nature of what the gun grabbers have in mind, Tad Cronn noted in Godfather Politics that “The list of specific firearms that would be banned by Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s gun-control bill is a smokescreen for a trick of language that could result in a ban on nearly all semiautomatic guns, according to a gun law expert who has reviewed the proposed legislation. Most media reports have focused on the already lengthy list of specific firearms the bill would ban, but Alan Korwin, who has written 10 books on gun laws, says the real meaning of the bill is hidden in the list of banned gun components.”
Components like a “sear” which catches the hammer in the rearward position, ready to fire again is found in virtually every semi-automatic weapon, not just assault weapons — bringing them all under the aegis of the ban.
You can bet Sen. Feinstein didn’t have anything to do with the writing of this kind of technical trap. –Approve, maybe, if she were capable of understanding what we are talking about, but the key point is that there is a dedicated team of lawyers working for the dark side of government that writes all these anti-liberty poison pills like the PATRIOT ACT, the NDAA provision on indefinite detention and this gun grabbing law—and it is done months and perhaps years before a 9/11 or a Sandy Hook style terror event is pulled off as a trigger to introduce these bills and get them passed into law.
In the current battle for gun control, the most powerful lie in the arsenal of the gun grabbers is that “they don’t intend to violate” the Second Amendment. They claim to recognize the right of self-defense with a handgun, but see no reason why someone needs an “assault rifle.”
So everyone has to be prepared to counter this argument. The first crucial argument to counter is the assertion that civilian versions of the AR-15 are assault rifles. They are not—even though they look similar. To qualify as an assault rifle, the weapon must have both either full-auto or 3-round burst capability and high-capacity, quick-change magazines. Civilian versions have the high-capacity magazines, but are not fully automatic. It’s a big difference.
So now the larger argument comes to bear: Why do civilians need military-style, semi-automatic rifles with high-capacity magazines? Certainly, not for hunting, and there are arguably better weapons for close quarters self defense. But that was never the purpose of the Second Amendment, which was written to make sure citizens had military capable weapons so they could act as a militia to deter or directly counter government tyranny.
Despite liberal commentators like Piers Morgan who refuse to admit to any dangerous or tyrannical tendency by government, that is what this fight for assault-style weapons is all about. The Armed Citizen Network provided perhaps the most complete essay on this argument, and I will include here the significant parts on “Why American Citizens Need Assault Weapons” by Mark Hayes, J.D.
“There are two main reasons and many ancillary ones why a ban on high-capacity, semi-automatic weapons is uncalled for, unnecessary and also unwise. First, we must consider the historical perspective of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The Second Amendment was added to the Constitution as an assurance that Americans will never lack the weaponry to fight against their own government, if that government becomes tyrannical.
“Remember, in the late 1780s the newly formed United States of America had just fought a bloody war against England and King George III’s tyrannical government. In order to gain support for the formation of a central government, the individual states required that the language of the Second Amendment be included in the Constitution, or they would not ratify the Constitution. Of course, the citizens of the day needed to arm themselves against tyrants with the very same weaponry used by the tyrants.
“Now, fast forward from 1780 to present day. Our current military and law enforcement agencies employ high-capacity semi-automatic handguns and AR-15 style rifles that are the very same weapons as are being targeted for a ban, if the Obama Administration has its way. In fact, most military firearms also have select fire: full auto, three-shot burst or semi-auto. This is how the M-4 rifle, which American citizens cannot own unless first paying a high tax, and in some states citizens cannot own M4s at all.
“Nevertheless, the current semi-auto weaponry is similar enough for the arming of the Militia, of which each and every able-bodied armed American is still a part (read the Heller case). We, the citizens of America, need to retain the same weaponry as our military and police to even the playing field, so that in the event of an attempt to enslave the American people, we can resist equally.
“Revolting against tyranny is the first reason Americans must retain our rights to own high capacity semi-automatic firearms. The counter-argument goes, ‘Come on, this is the year 2013. It’s not 1776.’ To which I say, ‘So what? Tyranny is not a thing of the past.’ No one will ever convince me that current day humans do not have the ability to enslave, torture and murder large groups of other humans….
“The second reason Americans need high capacity semi-automatic firearms has a more practical, immediate application in our modern society. Citizens must not be stripped of the ability to effectively counter criminal violence.

RUSSIA AND CHINA TIGHTEN ALLIANCE AGAINST THE USA
Russia is beginning to abandon the two-decade long deception of the “fall of Communism and the Soviet Union” and is actively becoming hostile to the US, as they tighten their strategic alliance with China. This week, I’ll detail how Vladimir Putin is deliberately building anti-US sentiment among the Russian people, and how the Chinese continue to worm their way into global financial circles while artfully dodging demands for more freedom for their people.
I don’t usually quote Russia Today (RT) since all media outlets in Russia are KGB directed, but when they are relishing the closer ties between Russia and China, that is a legitimate strategic direction in line with my theory that these two communist giants are joining forces and are preparing to attack the West someday.
“Russia and China, which share many of the same international concerns, are looking to fortify their strategic partnership. At a time when the neighboring countries are beginning to feel the heat of the US military, it seems only natural that Moscow and Beijing are beginning to plant the seeds of a long-term strategic relationship [not really something new, except that lately China is rising in military might resulting in tension between these two predators who know that one will eventually have to eliminate the other—and China intends to come out on top].
“Xi Jinping, the secretary-general of the Chinese Communist Party, underlined his country’s commitment to a Russian partnership… came to the unanimous conclusion that a ‘comprehensive strategic partnership’ between Moscow and Beijing remains the ‘top priority of their foreign policy.’
“Given the geopolitical realities of the region, it should come as no surprise that Moscow and Beijing are looking to forge a strategic partnership. Whereas China, traditionally an isolationist country that shuns bilateral alliances, rarely reveals its political hand, Russia made a leap of faith when it attempted to forge a so-called reset in relations with Washington. Today, the reset is in shambles, while many in Moscow accuse Washington of allowing the partnership to deteriorate [actually, Obama’s globalist handlers will use that “deteriorating” relationship to justify further “confidence building measures” like deeper cuts in nuclear weapons, which the US will comply with and Russia will not].
“Indeed, much of the blame for the Russia-US fallout is due to Washington’s plans to place a missile defense shield in Eastern Europe, just miles from the Russian border. NATO, originally declaring its intention to cooperate with Russia on the project, remains intransigent, while even refusing to provide Moscow with a legal guarantee that the system will never be aimed at Russian territory [the intransigence by the US is not because they aren’t willing to make more stupid nuclear reductions, it stems from their desire to continue provoking Russia with ABMs which the Russians know directly threaten their first strike plans. The few ABMs the US has in place won’t stop the first strike but may delay the planned WWIII until Russia develops more decoy missiles as countermeasures. The US ABMs have no warhead, so are easily defeated by multiple false targets].
“In fact, given the current stalemate, the reset itself seems to have been merely a ploy to win Russia’s trust at the same time that a threatening military technology was being introduced courtesy of the Obama administration [Bogus reasoning. ABMs are not a threat except against offensive missiles. Russia’s concern for a purely defensive ABM system is proof that she intends to strike someday].”
Let me insert here some information a subscriber provided about a business associate currently working in Moscow: “He has a large software company with about 200 engineers still in Russia. He recently came back from Moscow and he told me that the Media and propaganda machine is in full swing to vilify the USA and that we are always on the wrong side. He also said there is a full campaign on that Stalin was the good guy and he was right and the western media has been telling lies and rewrote the history books. However, the piece that really got my attention was that his contacts in Russia told him they believe the war with the USA will start within 10 years. This is exactly what you were saying! I also thought it interesting that the Ukraine is thinking of shunning the EU and joining the Eastern Alliances.”
Yes, all of these anti-US and NATO moves are part of Russia’s effort to build up popular support at home for the notion that the US is the enemy. Reuters just reported that “Russia scrapped a law enforcement agreement with the United States on Wednesday, further turning back the clock on a reset in relations since President Vladimir Putin’s return to the Kremlin last year. … Lawmaker Alexei Pushkov, a Putin ally who heads the parliamentary committee on international affairs, welcomed the move. ‘Russia is reformatting its relationship with the USA: this is already the third agreement cancelled in the last half-year. We are saying farewell to our dependence on ‘Power No. 1’,’ he said”
One of those 3 agreements was very significant—withdrawal from the Nunn/Lugar agreement which provided for US taxpayers to dismantle older Soviet era missiles and clean up Russia’s environmental contamination from biological and chemical weapons factories. The agreement also provided for mutual inspections of nuclear facilities. Russia never allowed full access but now wants all US inspectors out of the country—hence the cancellation of the agreement which provided millions of US dollars to Russia. When stopping inspections is more beneficial than US aid, you know Russia has more to hide in its rearmament plans.
RT: “Meanwhile, China, which recently celebrated the launch of its first aircraft carrier [a refurbished Soviet era carrier for training only] (the US Navy already has six carriers assigned to the Pacific), is witnessing a growing US naval presence in the Pacific. The US military brass announced in June that up to 60 per cent of the Navy’s fleet will be deployed to the Pacific by 2020.”
Notice that RT never mentioned the huge increase in China’s regular naval forces in territorial waters of the Philippines and Japan that provoked the US increase in naval power. Of course, the US will never do anything to stop China. Secret US foreign policy dictates both provoking China by cutting off her access to oil and gas in Africa and being permissive of Chinese aggression in the Far East. The US often plays both sides of any conflict, so it is difficult for the public to understand what is going on.
Just as the US hopes to provoke an anti-US reaction in Russia by the deployment of ABMs in Eastern Europe (a correct policy if the US ever intended to use it, which they won’t until after a first strike is launched), it is hoping to provoke China with increased US military presence in the Far East.
As RT warned, “China to be surrounded by US stealth jets by 2017. The United States’ presence in the Asia-Pacific is about to be much more impressive: by 2017, the US is expected to have all but surrounded China, its number one economic rival, with fleets of the most advanced stealth warplanes in the world. According to recent reports from some of the Pentagon’s top-brass, Uncle Sam will be essentially surrounding the United States’ top competitor in only five years’ time. By 2017, the Air Force’s F-22s and B-2s, as well as a fleet of the Marine Corps’ F-35, will all be deployed east.”
RT is claiming that this shifting of US stealth assets is meant to be in a position to launch a preemptive strike on China’s 3000 miles of underground tunnels protecting China’s nuclear missile squadrons. RT claims to have seen a classified Pentagon document apparently ordering U.S. Strategic Command to plan on attacking China’s tunnel networks. http://rt.com/news/usa-china-ndaa-tunnels-970/comments/
Positioning stealth aviation assets in Japan and other areas to the East of China is hardly “surrounding” her. If the US were really intending to prepare for war against China, they would not be downsizing their naval and aviation resources specifically capable of projecting power half-way around the globe, nor would it pursue unilateral disarmament. I can only conclude that this is a ploy to give China more reasons to claim the US is a threat—not that the US intends to block China. In every confrontation, the US backs down—even in the face of actual attacks on unarmed US reconnaissance aircraft.
“When the Pentagon first discussed its ‘strategic pivot’ earlier this year, Sen. Joe Lieberman, (I-Connecticut) dismissed rumors of an eventual skirmish, saying, ‘China and the US are so tied together economically and another Cold War is not in the interest of either that ultimately common sense will prevail.’”
This is also bad analysis, and wishful thinking shared by many. US globalist propagandists like Lieberman fail to see that China has been planning to attack the West for decades and will not let economic trade stop them. China wants more than trade with the US because trade is the door to technology transfer which she needs. Once China has all they need to come up to par with the US in military technology, it intends to strike the West and then rebuild commerce once we have surrendered. They intend to not only restore trade lost during the war, but also to gain absolute control over that trade, which they don’t have now.
While our globalist leaders conspire to cover for Russian and Chinese intentions, they don’t intend to let Russia or China win this war. Russia will be defeated and China will settle for becoming the West’s new cold war enemy after she betrays Russia and helps the West remove this other predator. In other words, China will start out on Russia’s side, see that she nor Russia can prevail and then switch sides to help defeat Russia and settle in for another cold war with the West.
Here is an interesting video on the Chinese military buildup (first part only—the rest is a slick financial pitch which I do not endorse): http://tinyurl.com/finance-moneyandmarkets-com
China’s laughable response to demands for more freedom for its people: Emma Rowley caught this candid exchange at the Davos summit with Mr Daokui, formerly a policy-maker at China’s central bank. “‘Many argue China should go after the US model – free market, minimum regulation, low tax rates,’ he said. ‘The preference of the billions of Chinese people… I think is quite different from the Americans. In China, because of the tradition of Confucianism, people put more emphasis on public order, the social good … than individual liberty [Pure bull… He’s speaking for the preferences of the communist government, not the people].
“‘The Chinese economy will be more like the Singaporean or German model [with] relatively speaking to the US, less individual economic or perhaps individual freedom.’ As for how the people can make their preference known to the Chinese leadership, he said: ‘The answer is very simple. Twitter.’” That’s a laughable response. Yes, the Chinese commies will be listening all right, but taking names for future incarceration—not for government change.

Joel Skousen: BIG PICTURE REVIEW OF 2012 — War with Russia and China is still 8-10 years away. China continues to build intercontinental missiles, which are hidden in ~3000 miles of underground tunnels

BIG PICTURE REVIEW OF 2012
At the end of each year I do a general review of how much liberty we have lost during the past 12 months and examine the prospects for the future. It’s an ideal time to do so since there is usually a lull in the news between Christmas and New Years. Even the evil “movers and shakers” are taking time off from their work. But they’ll be back with a full plate of liberty-strangling laws come January.
As I review each one of our liberties-at-risk, I’ll try to review the major events surrounding each issue and how they support the globalist agenda that threatens our liberty. The long term goal of the globalists is to force all nations into a global government that vests itself with powers to regulate every facet of people’s lives—under the pretext of “protecting us” in areas of food and child safety, protection of the environment, economic sustainability, universal access to health care and prevention of crime and war.
Tragically, each of these areas of “protection” from supposed threats are provoked by the very globalists that brought them to our attention. Naturally, this is done to spur us to allow changes to our laws and lives that move us in the direction of more international control. All these are examples of the conflict creation tactics used by globalists to justify intervention and change. In addition, these man-made threats are hyped by the media like a drum beat for maximum effect.

REVIEW OF MAJOR ISSUES IN 2012
Foreign Affairs:
Russia and China continue to increase military spending and are funding major weapons systems across the entire military spectrum: weapons in space, blue water naval vessels (carriers, submarines, destroyers, heavy cruisers, frigates, minesweepers, and resupply ships). Both nations are building state-of-the-art ballistic missile systems, while the US continues to disarm. The US has a regular “testing” program designed to shoot off and use up our replacement supply of minuteman missiles.
Russia, in particular, is embarking on a concerted effort to alienate its post-Soviet alliance with the US. The most important strategic change was Putin’s decision to refuse further Nunn Lugar aid money, used for dismantling older nuclear missiles and refurbishing nuclear warheads. Giving up this lucrative aid shows that Putin values rearmament secrecy more than the money. By rejecting the aid treaty, Putin has an excuse to dismiss US weapons inspectors from further inspections. Ironically, our weapons inspectors were never allowed full or complete access to Russia’s most secure arms plants anyway, nor the huge bunker factories in the Ural mountains like Yamantau Mountain. Putin’s signing of a ban on US adoption of Russian children was meant to help reestablish a sense of Russian nationalism and build a wall of pride against all things American.
China continues to build weapons of mass destruction and missile systems of intercontinental range—which are hidden in miles of underground tunnels, estimated to be more than 3,000 total miles underground. No other country, except Russia, has such an aggressive spying program like China. China also attacks US cyber network on a daily basis, and yet the US says nothing in condemnation, nor imposes any sanctions. Worse, China openly called for legislation to disarm US citizens in the wake of the Newtown massacre—another sign that China sees a great advantage in a disarmed America, relative to future invasion plans.
China continues to experiment with the full range of stealth weapons and satellite kill vehicles. Small and medium range missiles continue to be deployed opposite Taiwan. One training aircraft carrier has already been deployed, and 3 advanced carrier designs are being built. Not a month goes by where China does not exercise its naval muscle as it intimidates smaller neighboring countries into yielding islands and territory in the seas around China that may contain oil deposits. The US is partly responsible for this new aggressiveness, having ousted Chinese oil concessions in Libya, and soon in Iran.
North Korea, the “bad boy” puppet of Red China, continues to throw its weight around militarily in the region. Korean leaders rejoiced in the successful launch on Dec. 12 of another long range rocket that put NK’s first satellite into orbit. But the people are still starving, and naval and border encroachments across the DMZ are a weekly affair in the Korean peninsula. The North Koreans are always probing the border to test US and S. Korean resolve—and we bend over backward to not respond in any way—which only emboldens N. Korea.
I continue to note the strange dichotomy between how the West aggressively targets Iran, who does not have a fully developed nuclear weapons program nor rockets capable of more than medium range delivery. Yet North Korea, the most tyrannical and aggressive nation on earth, has a full nuclear program, has tested several warheads and has the missile capability to delivery weapons of mass destruction as far away as Hawaii. Strangely, the US has guaranteed Pyongyang “no regime change,” and assured them that there are “no military options” on the table. I can only conclude that NK is being preserved by the globalists for a trigger event for WWIII.
In the Middle East, the US and NATO continue to seek a justification to create a no fly zone around Syria, which is always much more than that. US and NATO special forces intervene with secret military direction, spy satellite data, communications and special operations against targets too tough for irregular forces. This week, it appears that the American media is hyping the chemical weapons threat as an excuse to intervene.
NBC news claims that “Several die after Assad’s forces use ‘poisonous gases’” Note, they didn’t say chemical weapons, because that would be an outright lie. What someone used, and it was most likely NOT the Syrian government, was a dose of pesticide spray. “Several Syrians have died after inhaling poisonous gas released by government forces in rebel-held districts of Homs, local eyewitnesses and activists claimed Monday [hardly unbiased].”
In fact, it is doubtful that there were any deaths actually attributed to the “gas” which was really just fumes. NBC admitted that “The gas is thought to have been a concentrated irritant, but not one of the deadly chemical weapons stockpiled by the regime of Syria president Bashar Assad.” NBC had to admit that “Claims by either side in Syria’s bitter civil war are almost impossible to independently verify because journalists are rarely allowed access to the country.” But they still state such claims as fact.
Assad would have to be a fool’s fool to use anything the West could construe as chemical weapons, knowing that that is exactly what the West wants him to do.
If the US decides to capitalize on this report, and begins air attacks on Syrian aircraft, I would expect the regime to fall within 6-12 weeks. Israel is getting anxious to attack Iran, but cannot afford to do so until Assad is overthrown and his chemical and biological weapons are no longer a retaliation threat to Israel after striking Assad’s ally in Iran.
I reiterate my long-standing claim that the war against Iran will not turn into WWIII. Russia is showing not signs of stopping the West from overthrowing Assad. Russia can gain much more by letting Assad fall, snooping on our military technology, and allowing the West to appear once again as the aggressor.
None of these events have significantly altered my estimate that war with Russia and China is still 8-10 years away. It takes that long to complete war preparations on the scale required to take on the US, NATO and Israel. Russia and China are both very much afraid of what they don’t know about secret weapons systems being developed by the US.

POPE CALLS FOR A WORLD GOVERNMENT
Conservative Catholics are concerned about yet another indication by the Pope that he supports world government. As the AP noted, “Pope Benedict XVI, has called for the establishment of World Government and a New World Order. In a speech made at the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace on Monday December 3 2012, the Pope called for the ‘construction of a world community, with a corresponding authority,’ to serve the ‘common good of the human family’ [dangerous words without proper conditions and limitations].”
The Pope limited his call to a “moral force” or moral authority that has the “power to influence in accordance with reason, that is, a participatory authority, limited by law in its jurisdiction.” this is a bit naive. I know of no modern example of world government proposals or existing regional governments like the EU where the proponents are amenable to strict limits in law or jurisdiction that would satisfy the demands of American constitutionalists that demand individual liberty.
The AP also noted that “These latest remarks made by the Pope and the Catholic Church come as no surprise considering that in 2010 the Catholic Church sought the establishment of a new Central World Bank that would be responsible for regulating the global financial industry and the international money supply”…. [as well as] “a supranational authority” which would have worldwide scope and “universal jurisdiction” to guide and control global economic policies and decisions. The proposed body (World Government) would not be a superpower [pretty naive], concentrated in the hands of a few, which would dominate all peoples, exploiting the weakest.”
Those are all socialist catchwords (exploitation, concentrations of power in the hands of a few, etc). But his vision is clearly a dangerous step into the future. Once you give supranational authority to a body and a crisis arises where it lacks enforcement power, the natural step is to grant it regulatory, taxation, police and military powers. That’s how you get to a militarized and ugly New World Order. The crisis they will provoke is a world war.

THE PETRAEUS AFFAIR: IS THAT ALL THERE IS?

There is a national soap opera going on, that surely masks something deeper. Not only did CIA director David Petraeus resign last week, but the scandal threatens to also topple Army General John Allen who was Petraeus’s hand-picked successor in Afghanistan. What is even more surreal is that the mistress of Gen. Allen was the same woman the Petraeus mistress sent threatening emails to for allegedly threatening her relationship with Petraeus. Those emails supposedly triggered the FBI investigation that forced Petraeus to resign.

Michael Hirsh has more details: “They were said to be generals cut from the same cloth, David Petraeus and John Allen: whip-smart, adaptable, erudite and above reproach. Indeed Allen was Petraeus’s hand-picked successor in Afghanistan, having served as deputy commander at Centcom in Tampa, Fla., first under Petraeus, then under Marine Gen. James Mattis… And yet, in less than a week, the careers of two very different men may be ruined as a result of alleged inappropriate behavior with women.

“It was scandalous enough when Petraeus stepped down as CIA director after an FBI investigation uncovered his extramarital affair with his biographer, Paula Broadwell. The latest hairpin plot twist came early Tuesday when the Defense Department abruptly announced that the nomination of Allen, the outgoing commander in Afghanistan, to be commander of NATO forces was ‘on hold’ pending an investigation by the FBI and the Pentagon inspector general related to his relationship with Jill Kelley – the woman who kicked off the FBI probe by reporting threatening emails she had received from Broadwell [a doctor’s wife], and who has denied having any relationship with Petraeus beyond family friend.

“A senior U.S. defense official told National Journal on Tuesday that investigators are now looking into ‘potentially inappropriate communications’ between Allen and Kelley, 37 [a family friend of Petraeus and his wife, Holly] a doctor’s wife who worked at Centcom in Florida. According to The Washington Post, in the course of the Petraeus-Broadwell probe, the FBI uncovered between 20,000 and 30,000 documents — most of them e-mails —shared between Kelley and Allen [totally unbelievable. This was later clarified to be “a few hundred conversations”].

“To those in the media who communicated with her, Broadwell was no hapless victim. She was passionate, highly intelligent and, above all, an eloquent defender of Petraeus, his strategic thinking and his reputation in history… In conversations and emails in 2011, a half year before the publication of her book, All In: The Education of General David Petraeus, Broadwell often sounded more like an adoring press agent than a biographer.

“Petraeus had long been known as a ‘performer’ who loved positive press, in the words of a former senior civilian official in the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq. That reputation accompanied his rise to prominence and power in the 2000s [but nobody rises in government stature or the media unless they are also vetted as a globalist, which Petraeus clearly was].

“The question is whether this sad and salacious story amounts to anything more than another episode in the long saga of human failings, with the apparent destruction of two or more careers as a result. It probably doesn’t [Really? Here come the establishment reasons:]. According to FBI officials quoted by The New York Times on Monday, the bureau’s investigation into whether Petraeus had compromised security in any way found that he had not. Similarly, the timing of the FBI probe suggests that it reached its final stages just as the U.S. presidential election was coming to a close, rather than being held up for political reasons. Although Broadwell was said to be in possession of classified material, she denied that it came from Petraeus, and given her wide network of contacts, it could have come from the same places that journalists often get such material.

“In the end, Petraeus’ downfall marks the formal finish to a career that had in some ways passed its peak. The influence of his signature contribution to U.S. military doctrine—expensive counterinsurgency programs that take years to implement, with little to show in the way of results, as in Afghanistan —has been fading.”

The Afghan counterinsurgency campaign was more than fading. Despite Broadmore’s biased defense of everything Petraeus, it was an abject failure and still is. Here’s historian Juan Cole: “I believe that it was doomed to fail, because the way that Petraeus and his colleagues conceived of a counterinsurgency program was they had this mantra: ‘take, clear, hold and build.’ So they would take a village, clear it of Taliban, hold it for some months to reassure the local people, ‘Taliban are not coming back; you don’t have to be afraid of reprisals if you cooperate with us,’ and then build up local police, local security [who eventually turn on Americans]. At one point, General McChrystal talked about bringing ‘a government in a box’ from Kabul. I mean, this entire project was so fantastic and unconnected to reality. I mean, Kabul barely has a government itself, much less having boxes full of them to send around to the provinces.

“And it was overambitious. In order for this kind of thing to succeed-and I doubt it could succeed, I mean-and it required convincing Pashtun villagers that they should like us better than their cousins, right? And how likely was that? But if it were going to succeed, it would require a lot more troops than were committed to it [and even that wouldn’t work permanently because of the tribal culture in Afghanistan—which doesn’t work democratically]. So, you had that famous Marjah campaign, remember? And then they said they were going to do Kandahar, and then the whole thing petered out, and we never heard anything more about it.”

Hirsh Continues: “As for Allen, his tenure in Afghanistan is proving at least as troubled as Petraeus’, beset by ‘green-on-blue’ attacks by Afghan soldiers and officials on allied troops, and a stubborn Taliban supported by Pakistani elements across the border. [As for Allen] He was far less of a glamorous or show-boating figure than Petraeus. Nevertheless, he’s now one of the leading men in a national soap opera.”

As Julie Lévesque said, “The Petraeus Affair has demonstrated yet again how a sex scandal story can be fed into the U.S. media… [but] most of those speculations are more credible than a simple extramarital affair [Few are buying that the CIA director would resign over an affair. Every major player (who is an insider) has enough skeletons to sink them if necessary].”

Possible Motives: One of the possible explanations of Petraeus’ departure is his stance on Israel which he saw as a liability to US interests in the Middle East: Here’s what Petraeus said that outraged the Israeli lobby: “The enduring hostilities between Israel and some of its neighbors present distinct challenges to our ability to advance our interests in the AOR [Area of Responsibility]. Israeli-Palestinian tensions often flare into violence and large-scale armed confrontations. The conflict foments anti-American sentiment, due to a perception of U.S. favoritism for Israel. Arab anger over the Palestinian question limits the strength and depth of U.S. partnerships with governments and peoples in the AOR and weakens the legitimacy of moderate regimes in the Arab world. Meanwhile, al-Qaeda and other militant groups exploit that anger to mobilize support. The conflict also gives Iran influence in the Arab world through its clients, Lebanese Hizballah and Hamas.”

“As Stephen Lendman observes, sex scandals don’t necessarily lead to resignations unless state secrets are at stake: Forget resignation over extramarital sex nonsense unless state secrets were compromised [and even then, not unless they’ve lost their usefulness to the PTB who cover for a huge range of sins among fellow insiders—and promising them immunity if they stay loyal to the conspiracy]. Lots of elected and appointed Washington officials had affairs. Many likely have current ones. Resignations don’t generally follow. Newt Gingrich survived sex and ethics scandals [because he was protected].

“Overlooked are secret CIA Benghazi operations. Involved are heavy weapons sent to Syrian opposition fighters. Petraeus left days before his scheduled congressional testimony [This might be a possibility but it is not likely since the investigating committee was only questioning why not enough security. No one was going to ask about the much more explosive “stand down” order. It is possible, Petraeus wasn’t sure and didn’t want to take the chance, but I doubt it. The PTB make sure these investigations are compromised from the very beginning] The Benghazi operation is erroneously called a US consulate. It’s ‘a meeting place to coordinate aid for the rebel-led insurgencies in the Middle East.’

“Tasks performed include ‘collaborating with Arab countries on the recruitment of fighters – including jihadists – to target Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria.’ Consulate designation provides cover. Obama and Clinton call the post a ‘US mission.’ The State Department lists no consulate in Benghazi.”

The taint of Supporting Terror: “Knowing the CIA’s shadow history, the cover-up of a secret CIA operation supporting terrorists used as proxy warriors to overthrow a foreign government seems the most likely explanation for Petraeus’ departure as Washington’s Blog explains: ‘Whatever the scope of the CIA’s operation in Benghazi – and whatever the real reason for the resignation of the CIA chief – the key is our historical and ongoing foreign policy. For decades, the U.S. has backed terrorists for geopolitical ends [and directed them at arm’s length, as in 9/11].”

My suspicions: I have to admit I’m not sure about the motives behind this resignation, but I can say with certainty that this leak to the news media wasn’t an accident. Even if the way in which this email love scandal came to the attention of the FBI is true, which is by no means certain, it was a total in-house FBI investigation. They found no wrongdoing, nothing illegal in the emails, no dangerous compromise of classified information and most importantly, no hint that Petraeus or Allen were being compromised by blackmail. Thus, it should have been kept entirely internal to the government (as most are) and Petraeus’s informal immunity (all insiders have it) should have held. In short, the media could not have known about this without an intentional leak from within the government itself telegraphed to their usual pool of bought and paid-for reporters who depend on official leaks.

So either the PTB wanted him removed peacefully for some reason (perhaps Petraeus was getting cold feet about what he was seeing inside the CIA), or he had a fit of conscience or honor, and decided to actually resign on his own as claimed. Let’s consider the probabilities.

The PTB do have a problem with military officers. All of the obvious rebels are eliminated before they get to Colonel. The rest can be even be good yes-men up to the general officer ranks and still not be compliant in the end when it counts. Most are more candid and critical of government after they get out, indicating they didn’t like what they saw but bit their tongue in order to gain that coveted retirement. Sometimes they can’t abide what they are asked to do when patently improper. General Hall and Admiral Gouyette were both sacked for refusing to stand down on the rescue of the Ambassador in the Benghazi affair. But they had been good yes-men up to that point. That’s the risk for the PTB.

David Petraeus had to be more than an ordinary military yes-man to get the coveted post of CIA director, which has access to all black operations—at least half of which are not legal or in the US best interest. The worst ones involve false flag terror operations or violate the law against US citizens. General Allen was headed to the top NATO military post, just like General James Jones—another Marine—prior to becoming Obama’s national security advisor. That means Allen too had to be somewhat of a globalist which that post requires. To dump both of these “reliable” insiders for an affair means there had to be something else afoot.

Proof of Jones’ globalist connections was his admission in the Munich Security Conference that they at the National Security Council get their “daily marching orders from Henry Kissinger”, passed down through Brent Scowcroft and Sandy Burger. Jones himself was relieved sometime after that and replaced by insider Tom Donivan. All this points out the fact that even the PTB have trouble controlling military insiders who have been reliable in the past.

My best guess (because I don’t know for sure) is that the PTB’s problem with Petraeus and Allen was related to the unrest in top military ranks over the sacking of Hall and Gouyette. Petraeus and Allen knew them both and surely had to know the reasons they were sacked. It’s one thing for high ranking military officers to cozy up to the globalist leaders above them (thinking that the globalist power structure is benign), but another thing to be on the receiving end of orders to betray an Ambassador and the valiant military men trying to protect him. Petraeus and Allen probably would not have liked the sacking of Hall and Gouyette for resisting the stand-down orders.

Perhaps the leaking of the investigation over the affairs and pressure to resign was the controller’s way of discrediting both so they could not blow the whistle on Benghazi without it sounding hollow.

Petraeus also was being talked about by many conservatives as a future Presidential nominee. I opposed it because I don’t trust anyone who is tapped for the CIA Chief. I still don’t trust him, even though, like General Wesley Clark, he may have been repulsed by globalist ruthlessness. Colin Power also was turned off but came back and supported Obama. Even Nixon who was crucified by the globalists and forced to resign spent his last days trying to get back into their good graces. When I look at the excessive way in which controlled politicians praised Petraeus to the moon as a great hero, I still have to wonder if they might bring him back someday for political purposes. My rule still stands: Never trust a “former” communist or “globalist.”

Joel Skousen: Obama's Marxist background is the wrong target of conservatives — "I’ve made the case repeatedly that Obama long ago sold out to the Globalists and is their puppet now" | "And forget about the oft-repeated myth that it only takes 3% of Americans to lead the others to liberty. 3% can lead the people downhill, but…"

The concern about Obama being a Marxist continues to be the wrong target of conservatives. I’ve made the case repeatedly that Obama long ago sold out to the Globalists and is their puppet now. His Marxist background has little relevance to what is happening in the country. What socialism they are pushing comes from his globalist controllers.

• • •

And forget about the oft-repeated myth that it only takes 3% of Americans to lead the others to liberty—just like the Communist 3% in Russia. This is patently wrong. 3% can lead the people downhill – in the direction of their low natural proclivities (wanting something for nothing) but it takes a LOT more than 3% to lead people uphill against their natural proclivities.

This interview goes all over the place. What I found interesting is at one point, Joel surmises that one of the reasons for U.S. wars is to provoke China into war by cutting off their access to oil — what FDR did to Japan to provoke the Pearl Harbor attack.

[30-minute audio] Joel Skousen on Coast to Coast AM 10/31/12: Sandy & the NWO — U.S. WARS are not to free countries, but TO INSTALL GLOBALIST PUPPETS. In Iran, the U.S. WON'T JUST ATTACK the NUCLEAR. They're "going to rearrange the entire middle east and make the U.S. and Israel EVEN MORE HATED than they are in that area."

“They [PTB] did in fact, and have been using MEK in Iran to destabilize the government. …They don’t really want freedom in these countries. They want someone who will be a puppet to them. That’s like in Libya, they had their favorite al Qaeda, Muslim Brotherhood people fighting against others. But it’s a matter of favoritism: who you can control.

In Egypt, it was a matter of picking a controlled opposition. And when you look at the history of the United States, bringing Mao Tse Tung to power by cutting off the military aid to Chiang Kai Shek; bringing Castro to power by cutting off the aid to Batista; bringing the Sandinistas to power in Nicaragua by cutting off aid to Sermosa.

They build up communist governments, and then they take them down decades later, and replace them with what? Not freedom, but globalists, which they control.

But Iran is like Syria. It’s a tough nut to crack. It’s got a very heavy military. And they’re going to take it out militarily. And it’s not just attacking the nuclear. They’re going to try to devestate the entire military and civilian infrastructure, so they don’t have to go in and occupy.

It’s going to rearrange the entire middle east and make the U.S. and Israel even more hated than they are in that area.”

Sandy & the NWO

In the first hour, political scientist and expert in relocation for personal security, Joel Skousen, discussed Hurricane Sandy as well as the globalist agenda for a New World Order. Regarding Sandy, he observed that the majority of damage has been the result of flooding and suggested that it will take about 3 months for the area to fully recover from the disaster. He also noted that the hurricane exemplified a key area of concern for survival situations, because it struck “high density population centers” which created tremendous competition for supplies. On the subject of the New World Order, Skousen contended that an impending war with Iran will be used as an excuse for an economic meltdown in the United States and to also forward a globalist agenda to “create an image that the West is the bully of the world.”

Joel Skousen: Romney’s First Win — The kingmakers may have to voter fraud Romney's defeat, which may actually may be best, because "the conservative movement suffers under Republican presidents who do the establishment bidding while convincing conservatives it’s the 'right thing to do.'"

How has voting for the ‘lesser of two evils’ altered the soul of America?
I’ve often said that when a Republican is elected President the conservatives stand down and rubber stamp everything he does — led by Rush Limbaugh, Fox News (‘Fair and Balanced’), etc..
This is actually a corrupting process in which conservatives then become willing supporters of the globalists’ policies that are destroying America and fomenting hatred of US from all over the world.
It appears that voting for the ‘lesser of two evils’ and then winning (during eight years of Bush/Cheney) encouraged evangelicals into accepting without question the 9/11 official story, and then supporting the reverse-Christian and unconstitutional policies like the ‘Patriot’ Act, the invasions of sovereign nations, torture, bailing out the international bankers, the skyrocketing deficit, etc.. The indoctrination was so complete that most evangelicals were fully willing to even send their daughters through the naked body scanners.
Mitt Romney supports all of the above as well as the NDAA. Isn’t it time that we stop supporting evil? I’ll probably vote for the Constitution Party candidate yet again, now that Ron Paul has been rejected one last time. It’s important to have clean hands and a pure heart.

ROMNEY’S FIRST WIN
I’m no fan of Romney or his constant attempts to please the establishment, but I’m even more disturbed by the establishment’s manipulation of polling numbers in order to make sure Obama wins reelection. First the establishment went undercover to illegally record Romney’s remark about 47% of Americans being “victims”, and then boosted Obama’s polling numbers in order to make this silly attack on Romney have an effect. Yes, the constant drumbeat about Romney’s unlike-ability and elitism has taken a toll, but Obama is still very much at risk of losing – especially after Wednesday’s debate where Obama, sans teleprompter, stumbled badly. Ultimately, I think the course of this election will be decided by vote fraud in key swing states where establishment political machines have a history of boosting election rolls with illegal aliens and altering electronic voting records. […]
In order to reelect Obama, the PTB are going to have to order up another round of electronic vote fraud, which is increasingly easy to do, even if there is a paper trail for these voting machines. That’s because state officials and judges almost never allow a recount based upon that paper trail. But there are limits to how much they can change the vote electronically. Because of exit polling accuracies, political machines can only get away with changing the electronic vote tallies up to about a maximum of 8-10% —otherwise the manipulation is too obvious and people become outraged. If they keep the difference below 10% they can always explain it away by “margin of error” —just like in polling manipulation (which can often exceed the 4% margin of error by double).
With Romney’s big win in the debate this week, it appears the PTB are going to have to really alter the electronic vote toward Obama to ensure his win. Politico.com, a left-wing site had to admit that “Each candidate leads in states considered safe for their party. In safe GOP states, Romney leads by 8. In safe Democrat states, Obama leads by a massive 22 points. But, in the more numerous and more important swing states, Romney leads by 4 points, hitting the critical 50% threshold, nationwide”. Even the liberal press had to admit that Obama lost badly. Of course there was little substance in either candidates statements, but debates are won on speaking ability and how you come across to voters. […]
All this is more evidence that the PTB intend to reelect Obama. The constitutional right continues to assert that Romney is an insider and just as much controlled by the PTB as Obama. I continue to explain, for the sake of new subscribers, that this isn’t true. The kingmakers wouldn’t have tried so hard to stop him from getting the nomination in 2008 and 2012 if he were one of them. In fact, he’s not an insider, and they resent anyone trying to get into the race with their own money, bypassing their vetting process. Even more than that, they fear what an outsider may see about illegal operations inside the White House that they might not be able to keep from a president who is no dummy. Lastly, they never pick insiders or puppets who aren’t morally compromised or blackmailed, and Romney doesn’t fit that mold.
But that isn’t to say Romney would save us from much of the Obama agenda. He’s already sending messages that he would retain most of Obamacare even if repealed. Romney’s problem is that he has too much ambition and is trying desperately to please the establishment. He has hired virtually all establishment and neocon advisors. I hope he loses—not because I want Obama back, but because the conservative movement suffers under Republican presidents who do the establishment bidding while convincing conservatives it’s the “right thing to do.” It’s not.
Republicans are sending out mass emailings aimed at Ron Paul supporters trying to convince them that they ought to vote for Romney rather than a third party alternative in order to ensure that any new Supreme Court nominees are appointed by a Republican rather than Obama. But that strategy has never produced good results. The Senate confirmation processalways blocks any strict constructionist, like judge Robert Bork, from being nominated—refusing to pass on anyone except those controlled by the establishment. All of the justices confirmed during Republican presidencies have turned out to be compromised–like Justice Roberts, who just betrayed conservatives on Obamacare.

MEDIA INFLAMING THE CASE AGAINST IRAN
My take on Iran is that Iran is, indeed, attempting to build a nuclear weapon, but that it is years away and has been set back several years by the killing of some of its scientists by the Mossad, as well as the sabotage of its Siemens equipment through the Stuxnet virus and other indirect misdirections by the Siemens corporation as well.
Any nation that sees themselves as targets of Western attack will want to acquire the means to defend themselves. The CIA has even helped foment Iran’s desire for nuclear weapons by setting up the supposed rogue nuclear proliferation network run by Dr. A. Q. Khan which sold nuclear secrets to Iran.
Abdul Qadeer Khan was one of Pakistan’s top nuclear scientists who helped other countries gain nuclear technology. Although he confessed to doing this, he also admitted that these activities were sanctioned by the Pakistani government and its military intelligence wing, the ISI. The ISI has been an extension of CIA black operations, which not only gave Pakistan much of its military secrets, but used Dr. Khan to spread tainted nuclear technology to Iran. The nuclear information he gave Iran had errors in it, which Iran eventually discovered and bypassed through their own expertise.
The implications of all this is that the US has long had plans to take down both Iraq and Iran and planted nuclear information in both countries to provide a pretext for an eventual attack. Israel capitalized on this when it took out Iraq’s Osirak nuclear reactor in 1981, and is intending to do the same for Iran soon.
Obama claimed this week during his speech to the UN that “a nuclear Iran cannot be contained.” But this is disingenuous given that the US has actively helped its future enemies to gain weapons of mass destruction. Are they even trying to contain Iran or provoke an excuse to attack? US companies gave chemical weapons technology to Saddam Hussein, and the attack on Iraq followed as night follows day.
The doctrine of containment has been used for decades to claim success at keeping the Soviet Union at bay out of fear of MAD–Mutually Assured Destruction. However, MAD doesn’t really exist. Nuclear weapons don’t assure total destruction if a nation prepares for it—so containment doesn’t work and never has worked. The only true deterrence is to have better preparations for war than your enemy.
The only reason the Soviets never struck is because they weren’t ready yet. They were getting behind in the arms race for high tech weapons and decided to fake their own demise in order to gain more aid and even technological assistance from the West. Russia’s spying has never stopped, and neither has the West’s invitations for Russian spies to enter our weapons labs—disguised as scientific and military exchange. The US does the same for China, a known future enemy who is laying direct plans to attack the West in the future.
Although Iran has a blustering, extremist president the West has taken great pains to make his remarks out to be far worse than they really are. All of this is necessary to get the world prepared for the coming war on Iran. This week Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said, “History proves that those who wanted to wipe us off the map failed in that objective, while the Jewish people overcame all obstacles.”
The “wipe us off the map” statement is the promulgation of a direct mistranslation deliberately perpetuated by the media. Reuters is one of the worst, stating incorrectly that “Ahmadinejad’s speeches in the U.N. forum included a prediction that Israel would be ‘eliminated’.”
Newsvandal.com writes that “Headlines are designed to grab the reader’s attention and pull ‘em in. Today, Reuters rolled out a serious eye-grabber: In New York, defiant Ahmadinejad says Israel will be ‘eliminated’ Just sounds like par for the course when it comes to Iran’s dangerous doom-dealer, right? Well, there is a bit of a problem. You see, the headline doesn’t quite match the actual quote in the story.
“Ahmadinejad’s quote in paragraph eleven of the story comes across a bit differently: ‘We don’t even count them as any part of any equation for Iran. During a historical phase, they (the Israelis) represent minimal disturbances that come into the picture and are then eliminated.’ Put into the context of… the threats being made against it. It sounds like Ahmadinejad is saying he disregards the threats being made [which he does at Iran’s risk, as I point out below].
“Reuters takes this fast and loose word game even further by following up the quote in question with this little remark: ‘In 2005, Ahmadinejad called Israel a ‘tumor’ and echoed the words of the former Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, by saying that Israel should be wiped off the map.’
“Apparently, the folks at Reuters haven’t been reading newspapers. Why? Because he never actually said it. This misquote, which entered the public’s consciousness in 2005 and been repeated ad infinitum by politicians and war advocates, has been thoroughly debunked by Professor Juan Cole and a real, live Farsi speaker at the Mossadegh Project.
“Even more damning, Dan Meridor, Israel’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Intelligence said that Mr. Ahmadinejad and Iran’s ruling cleric, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, had said repeatedly ‘that Israel is an unnatural creature, it will not survive. They didn’t say, ‘We’ll wipe it out,’ you’re right, but, ‘It will not survive.’”
Ahmadinajad’s other statements seem to indicate a sense of bravado about Iran’s ability to ward of the coming strike that is utterly foolish: ‘In the story, there are a number of other quotes responding to questions about the possibility of an Israeli attack on Iran, to which Ahmadinejad offers a number of dismissive responses and some blustery posturing about Iran’s centuries-long history and fearlessness in the face of these threats:
“‘Fundamentally we do not take seriously the threats of the Zionists,’ Ahmadinejad, in New York for this week’s U.N. General Assembly, told reporters. ‘We have all the defensive means at our disposal and we are ready to defend ourselves.’ and ‘We do believe that they have found themselves at a dead end and they are seeking new adventures in order to escape this dead end. Iran will not be damaged with foreign bombs,’
I can assure the uncareful Iranian President that Israel’s threats are real and that the Western powers do intend to take him and his whole country’s infrastructure down as well. Whatever his defensive preparations, they are not enough. I’m not in favor of this provoked war, but it certainly seems to me that Iran’s president is looking for a fight, and is going to get it. But like the drone war in Pakistan, the end result of the war will be more hatred toward the US and Israel—all of which is intended by the globalists.

HOW THE COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATION CONTROLS BOTH PARTIES
Gary North coincides with my writings in a discussion of how the Council on Foreign Relations has used two teams of advisors termed, “Team A and Team B” for the past 35 years to play both sides of the ideological spectrum. There is a lot of good history in Gary’s commentaries. We are seeing CFR Team A in full bloom right now as top globalists Condoleezza Rice, James A. Baker, George P. Shultz and Henry A. Kissinger endorse Mitt Romney in the Washington Times:
“That is why we have endorsed Mitt Romney for president. He has the experience, strategy and temperament to lead a robust economic recovery and rein in the mounting federal debt that threatens our future. And he fully understands that our prosperity at home is inextricably linked to our influence abroad [meaning: control abroad]. Mr. Romney has laid out a strong and mature vision of American leadership during his campaign. It is based on a consistent theme that peace abroad depends on American vitality [meaning: military power to intervene].
“Mr. Romney understands that the world remains a dangerous place. He is a staunch supporter of our alliances around the world [which provide excuses for war and drawing others into them]. He believes in maintaining our military strength. He is committed to expanding free trade and investment [of the corporatist/globalist variety only]. He will oppose the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction [here they are speaking to him, because so far, Romney has not committed to more disarmament, which is what they are really aiming at]. And he knows that no American president should ever be ashamed of espousing the democratic principles upon which our nation was founded.” With my insertions, I’ve tried to interpret for my readers the globalist messages their language was trying to convey, but promoting Democracy has never been what this intervention is about!
So, there you have the statement from Team A, which always controls the Republicans. This endorsement is not an indication that Romney is one of them, only that CFR Team A is positioning itself in his camp to control him, if he gets elected (which I doubt they will allow). Team B controls Obama. Tom Donilon, National Security Advisor, is currently Obama’s handler. Here’s Gary’s take, with [my comments in brackets].
“Back in 1976, an insightful author named Susan Huck wrote an article for American Opinion, the monthly magazine of the John Birch Society. She was commenting on the supposedly titanic presidential struggle between Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter. She described it as a battle between CFR Team A and CFR Team B. I have used that designation ever since. This is one of the most profound insights into 20th-century American politics that anyone has ever written. I can think of no textbook, no sophisticated statistical study, that comes closer to what is really involved every four years, when the Republican Party and the Democratic Party battle for control of the White House.
“A major Establishment book on the control of American foreign-policy by the Council on Foreign Relations, The Wise Men: Six Friends and the World They Made (1986), was written by Walter Isaacson and Evan Thomas [Some truth but a lot of disinformation and masking of their real intentions. Both were insiders, so they would never tell all]. Isaacson graduated from Harvard in 1974. In 1996, Isaacson became senior editor of Time magazine. He became chairman and CEO of CNN in 2001, and then president and CEO of the Aspen Institute in 2003. He is the author of the best-selling biography of Steve Jobs. Thomas ever since 1991 has been the assistant managing editor at Newsweek. He formerly worked for Time. He teaches journalism at Princeton. An insider? You had better believe it.
“There have been only two major presidential elections since 1932 that did not conform to this Punch and Judy arrangement. One was in 1964, when Goldwater was able to get the Republican nomination, and the Eastern Republican Establishment [controlled by globalists in the CFR] literally walked out of the convention, and then spent the rest of the summer torpedoing Goldwater’s campaign. The other exception, which was only a partial exception, was Reagan’s election in 1980 [no, it was a full exception, but they controlled Reagan by forcing him to accept George Bush Sr, as VP and James Baker as his Chief of Staff—thus ensuring that Reagan could do nothing without his handlers being close to counter him]. His new Chief of Staff was James Baker III. Baker, then as now, was one of the chief advisors to George H. W. Bush. The Reagan administration was run by Bush’s men, with only a few exceptions, for all eight years. Then Bush replaced him.
“The American people, decade after decade, generation after generation, are persuaded that presidential elections are fought over fundamental differences regarding the way the world works and the way the world ought to work. Yet every newly inaugurated President brings in his senior advisers, most of whom are men recruited by the Council on Foreign Relations, and some have been trained in the Trilateral Commission. This never gets any attention by the media, because the media at the top are run by members of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission.
“The typical Republican conservative is aware of none of this. He perhaps has heard a hint or two about it, but he has never spent any time reading the literature that has been produced by conservatives regarding this arrangement ever since the publication of Dan Smoot’s book in 1960, The Invisible Government. The importance of the Skull and Bones connection goes back to the mid-nineteenth century. How is it that an organization that only takes 15 members a year has elected three Presidents, and would have elected a fourth in 2004 if John Kerry had won.
[…]
It would only be the election of the century if it were between Ron Paul and Obama. It’s not with Romney because he’s incapable of changing much domestically, and will continue to do great damage in foreign policy.
I’ll end with a quote from Barak Obama in the 2008 campaign: “the greatest risk we can take is to try the same, old politics with the same, old players and expect a different result.” That’s my point. Both parties are using the same old CFR players. Only Ron Paul would not and now he’s gone.

ANNIVERSARY OF A GOVERNMENT TERROR
It isn’t just a coincidence that a major wave of anti-US backlash has been unleashed in Libya, Egypt and Yemen, three nations in which the US is continuing to intervene in their civil wars and aftermath. This is the kind of blowback Ron Paul warned about and its NOT about the so-called anti-Islamic film, and it’s not necessarily al Qaeda—that convenient label the US pins on anyone they want to target in the Middle East. The film may have given Muslim fanatics the excuse, but it’s the continued presence of US drones in these countries and the civilian casualties they cause that fuels this hatred.
As Spencer Ackerman wrote, “The drones never left Libya. The skies over Libya were clogged with U.S. Predator drones during last year’s war. But just because the war officially ended in October didn’t mean the drones went home. A Defense Department official tells [wired.com] Danger Room that the U.S. has kept drone flights flying over Libya, despite the conflict that initially brought them to Libyan airspace ending nearly a year ago.”
Michael Snyder of endoftheamericandream.com put it thus: “Radical Islamic militants stormed the U.S. embassy in Cairo, Egypt and replaced the American flag with the al-Qaeda flag. In Benghazi, Libya the U.S. consulate was attacked by a crowd equipped with guns, homemade bombs and rocket-propelled grenades. They torched the consulate, looted it, and killed the U.S. ambassador and three other U.S. officials. [And, Wednesday, anti-US protestors attacked the Embassy in Yemen] Apparently they are not as grateful for our help in ‘liberating’ their homelands as the Obama administration thought they would be. Unfortunately, our politicians fundamentally misunderstand what is going on in the Middle East, and this is going to continue to lead to more policy errors.
“For years, our politicians told us that ‘al-Qaeda’ was the big enemy in the ‘War on Terror’. But then during the ‘Arab Spring’ the U.S. government was openly working with ‘al-Qaeda’ and a bunch of other similar organizations all over the Middle East to overthrow established governments. To say that our approach to the Middle East has been ‘inconsistent’ would be a massive understatement.”
My take is a little different, and perhaps more complete. After studying how the US government pulled off the attack on the World Trade Center my frank opinion is that official al-Qaeda is an outright false flag terrorist outfit run by the CIA for the purposes of creating conflict at home and abroad. These terror events, falsely blamed on Muslim extremists (though they do exist, the ones who attacked the WTC were not religious extremists) provide the impetus for military intervention and the diminution of civil rights at home—both of which are intermediate goals in driving nations toward a New World Order.
According to various defectors, and disaffected intelligence agents over the years, it appears that the dark side of the US government uses both the Saudis and the Pakistani ISI to provide funding and mission direction to al Qaeda, which was a US creation during the war against the Soviets in Afghanistan. The US would have us believe that they simply lost control of al Qaeda prior to 9/11, but this is simply false.
ABC News reported that “at least 12 Saudi businessmen were financing al Qaeda through accounts in Cyprus, Switzerland and Malaysia, among other countries. U.S. officials told ABC News that a full investigation into the allegations was under way and that there may be criminal charges filed before the end of the year.” Guess what year that was? –2007. The Saudis do the arms length funding for the US, and the US provides protection against prosecution. Immunity is one of the key components to understanding how the world works.
Bin Laden always was the US and Saudi’s man right up until he died several years ago. As I pointed out in a recent WAB, The killing of bin Laden in Abbattabad was a charade, killing instead one of the CIA’s two Osama look-a-likes. They were using these clones to make threatening videos for the decade after 9/11 in order to continue fomenting the phony war on terror.
Paul Craig Roberts agrees: “Osama bin Laden was too useful a bogeyman, and Washington and the presstitute media kept him alive for another decade until Obama needed to kill the dead man in order to boost his sinking standings in the polls so that Democrats would not back a challenger for the Democratic presidential nomination. Numerous bin Laden videos, every one pronounced a fake by experts, were released whenever it was convenient for Washington. No one in the Western media or in the US Congress or European or UK parliaments was sufficiently intelligent to recognize that a bin Laden video always showed up on cue when Washington needed it. ‘Why would the ‘mastermind’ be so accommodating for Washington?’ was the question that went through my mind every time one of the fake videos was released.”
Because of US drone strikes in Pakistan, the US has become an increasingly unwelcome ally in Pakistan, and the ISI (Pakistani Intelligence) has come under increasing pressure within Pakistani military and political circles to end its covert support of US al Qaeda terrorism. For this reason, the US is probably shifting control of their al Qaeda operations to Saudi Arabia. It is even possible that both the Saudis and Pakistanis have their own al-Qaeda operations to run, and they are not connected now, as they were in prior decades.
There are indications that there exist several different al Qaeda cells around the world, and they probably are not funded by the CIA’s usually bagmen, the Saudis or the Pakistanis, at least not directly. The Saudis have long been the deep pockets for US covert support of radical movements. The US probably has found willing front men in other countries to run terror cells, but on a smaller scale than what the Saudis are capable of funding.
What do the Saudis get in return from the US? Protection from internal overthrow and external attack. The US media also covers for the Saudis to keep out of the newspapers the egregious sexual escapades of various members of the Saudi Royal family, including the kidnapping of sex slaves.
Of course, there are plenty of disgruntled Muslim fanatics to do the suicide bombing and fighting as long as someone pays and trains them. Probably none of the actual terrorists on the ground (except those involved in 9/11) know who is calling the shots at the top. So, there is real terror in the world and real terrorists, but most of those organizations, at the top, are run by the CIA or one of its many subordinate or allied spook entities.
Just as the US has spawned and protected its own drug cartels around the world—and reaped the whirlwind of violence from competing cartels—so there are plenty of smaller terror groups emerging all the time competing with US sponsored al Qaeda variety. All of that is backlash against US involvement in their own countries.
I do not think this week’s attacks on the consulate and embassies in Libya, Cairo and Yemen were done by US sponsored terror, but the anti-Muslim film produced crudely in America may well be a black operation to incite these attacks.
The AP reported on Thursday, “A federal law enforcement official said Thursday that Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, 55, was the man behind ‘Innocence of Muslims,’ a film denigrating Islam and the Prophet Muhammad that sparked protests earlier in the week in Egypt and Libya and now in Yemen. The official… said Nakoula was connected to the persona of Sam Bacile, a figure who initially claimed to be the writer and director of the film. But Bacile quickly turned out to a false identity and the Associated Press traced a cellphone number used by Bacile to a southern California house where Nakoula was found.”
Nakoula denied he was Bacile, but investigators discovered he has a scam background and has used variations on that last name before. It looks to me that the feds caught him and gave him a choice of going to jail or helping the government produce a second rate amateur video of provocation. Some of the actors have reported that the director dubbed in different words than they spoke on camera. This was a hatchet job, once again to build up the war on terror.
The 11th Anniversary of 9/11 is always used by the media to promote the establishment version of events that day even as they are coming under increasing scrutiny. For the first time ever, Colorado Public Radio hosted a showing of a video produced by Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth (see it at www.ae911truth.org). Their video presentation on the evidence for explosive demolition in the towers is one of the best, and a credible way of introducing friends to the powerful evidence the towers were taken down by internal explosives—which no ring of terrorists could have accomplished. It had to be an inside job.
Paul Craig Roberts had probably one of the best overviews of the anniversary and the contradictions in the official version. Here are excerpts [with my comments in brackets]: “In order to understand the improbability of the government’s explanation of 9/11, it is not necessary to know anything about what force or forces brought down the three World Trade Center buildings, what hit the Pentagon or caused the explosion, the flying skills or lack thereof of the alleged hijackers, whether the airliner crashed in Pennsylvania or was shot down, whether cell phone calls made at the altitudes could be received, or any other debated aspect of the controversy [although those are important anomalies and contradictions to the official story].
“You only have to know two things [extreme anomalies]: One is that according to the official story, a handful of Arabs, mainly Saudi Arabians, operating independently of any government and competent intelligence service, men without James Bond and V for Vendetta capabilities, outwitted not only the CIA, FBI, and National Security Agency, but all 16 US intelligence agencies, along with all security agencies of America’s NATO allies and Israel’s Mossad. Not only did the entire intelligence forces of the Western world fail, but on the morning of the attack the entire apparatus of the National Security State simultaneously failed. Airport security failed four times in one hour.
“NORAD failed. Air Traffic Control failed. The US Air Force failed. The National Security Council failed. Dick Cheney failed [actually, he didn’t fail. He sat in the White House situation room and made sure a young Air Force officer DID NOT make the call to intercept the aircraft as it headed for the Pentagon]. Absolutely nothing worked [because they forced it into standown]. The world’s only superpower was helpless at the humiliating mercy of a few undistinguished Arabs.
“It is hard to image a more far-fetched story–except for the second thing you need to know: The humiliating failure of US National Security did not result in immediate demands from the President of the United States, from Congress, from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and from the media for an investigation of how such improbable total failure could have occurred. No one was held accountable for the greatest failure of national security in world history. Instead, the White House dragged its feet for a year resisting any investigation until the persistent demands from 9/11 families for accountability forced President George W. Bush to appoint a political commission, devoid of any experts, to hold a pretend investigation.
“On 9/11 Doubts Were Immediate: The towers—the three-fourths or four-fifths of the buildings beneath the plane strikes–were standing, apparently largely undamaged. There were no signs of fire except in the vicinity of where the airliners had hit. Suddenly, one of the towers blew up, disintegrated, and disappeared in fine dust. Before one could make any sense of this, the same thing happened to the second tower, and it too disappeared into fine dust.
“The TV news anchors compared the disintegration of the towers to controlled demolition. There were numerous reports of explosions throughout the towers from the base or sub-basements to the top [and the ones in the basement happened BEFORE the aircraft struck. That’s what blew out all the windows in the lobby]. (Once the government put out the story of terrorist attack, references to controlled demolition and explosions disappeared from the print and TV media.) This made sense to me. Someone had blown up the buildings. It was completely obvious that the towers had not fallen down from asymmetrical structural damage. They had [been] blown up [that means there are probably 25-50 explosives riggers involved that were sworn to secrecy or had their lives threatened to silence them].
“I don’t remember the time line, but it wasn’t long before the story was in place that Osama bin Laden and his al Qaeda gang had attacked the US. A passport had been found in the rubble… When I heard these reports, I wondered. How could a tiny undamaged passport be found in the rubble of two skyscrapers, each more than 100 stories tall, when bodies, office furniture and computers could not be found [it was planted]? How could airport security fail so totally that four airliners could be hijacked within the same hour? How could authorities know so conclusively and almost immediately the names of the perpetrators who pulled off such a successful attack on the world’s only superpower, when the authorities had no idea that such an attack was planned or even possible [and why did supposed trained terrorists leave behind such an easy to find trail of evidence: credit card use, flight manuals, tape records]?
“The more the story of 9/11 was presented in the media, the more wondrous it became. It is not credible that not only the CIA and FBI failed to detect the plot, but also all 16 US intelligence agencies, including the National Security Agency, which spies on everyone on the planet, and the Defense Intelligence Agency, Israel’s Mossad, and the intelligence agencies of Washington’s NATO allies. There are simply too many watchmen and too much infiltration of terrorist groups for such a complex attack to be prepared undetected and carried out undeterred. Washington’s explanation of the attack implied a security failure too massive to be credible.
“NORAD failed. The US Air Force could not get jet fighters in the air. Air Traffic Control lost sight of the hijacked airliners [One controller at McGuire AFB told me that he had been told to stand down and not let any of the fighters take off]. Yet, instead of launching an investigation, the White House resisted for one year the demands of the 9/11 families for an investigation. Neither the public, the media, nor Congress seemed to think an investigation was necessary.
“The focus was on revenge [because attacking Afghanistan and Iraq were part of the reason for this false flag attack], which the Bush neocon regime said meant invading Afghanistan which was alleged to be sheltering the perpetrator, Osama bin Laden.”
Why did no one brag about pulling off 9/11? “Normally, terrorists are proud of their success and announce their responsibility. It is a way to build a movement… It makes no sense that the ‘mastermind’ of the most humiliating blow in world history ever to have been delivered against a superpower would not claim credit for his accomplishment. By September 11, 2001, Osama bin Laden knew that he was deathly ill. According to news reports he underwent kidney dialysis the following month [at the American hospital in Dubai, and was visited by the CIA station chief]. The most reliable reports that we have are that he died in December 2001. It is simply not credible that bin Laden denied responsibility because he feared Washington.
“The 9/11 ‘investigation’ that finally took place was a political one run from the White House. One member of the commission resigned, declaring the investigation to be a farce, and both co-chairman and the legal counsel of the 9/11 Commission distanced themselves from their report with statements that the 9/11 Commission was ‘set up to fail,’ that resources were withheld from the commission, that representatives of the US military lied to the commission and that the commission considered referring the false testimony for criminal prosecution. One would think that these revelations would cause a sensation, but the news media, Congress, the White House, and the public were silent.
“All of this bothered me a great deal. The US had invaded two Muslim countries based on unsubstantiated allegations linking the two countries to 9/11, which itself remained uninvestigated. The neoconservatives who staffed the George W. Bush regime were advocating more invasions of more Muslim countries. Paul O’Neill, President Bush’s first Treasury Secretary, stated publicly that the Bush regime was planning to invade Iraq prior to 9/11. O’Neill said that no one at a National Security Council meeting even asked the question, why invade Iraq? ‘It was all about finding a way to do it.’
“The leaked top secret Downing Street Memo written by the head of British intelligence (MI6) confirms Paul O’Neill’s testimony. The memo, known as the ‘smoking gun memo’ whose authenticity has been confirmed, states that ‘President George W. Bush wants to remove Saddam Hussein, through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy.’ In other words, the US invasion of Iraq was based on nothing but a made up lie.
“As an engineering student I had witnessed a controlled demolition. When films of the collapse of WTC building 7 emerged, it was obvious that building 7 had been brought down by controlled demolition. When physics instructor David Chandler measured the descent of the building and established that it took place at free fall acceleration, the case was closed. Buildings cannot enter free fall unless controlled demolition has removed all resistance to the collapsing floors. If airliners brought down two skyscrapers, why was controlled demolition used to bring down a third building?
“I assumed that structural architects, structural engineers, and physicists would blow the whistle on the obviously false story [yes, but principled people weren’t hired by NIST to do the report. There are whores in any profession that will do anything for money—especially if they are told it’s a matter of National Security]. If I could see that something was amiss, certainly more highly trained people would.
“The first physicist to make an effective and compelling argument was Steven Jones at BYU. Jones said that explosives brought down the twin towers. He made a good case. For his efforts, he was pressured to resign his tenured position. I wondered whether the federal government had threatened BYU’s research grants or whether patriotic trustees and alumni were the driving force behind Jones’ expulsion. Regardless, the message was clear to other university based experts: ‘Shut up or we’ll get you [Jones is a personal friend of mine. There were no direct threats from government. There may have been some pressure on the church university’s leaders intimating that Jones’ conclusion that only government could have done this was embarrassing the LDS Church. I happen to know that many leaders of the LDS church share that mainstream bias against conspiracy in government, even though many of the Mormon faithful believe in conspiracy].
Steven Jones was vindicated when chemist Niels Harrit of the University of Copenhagen In Denmark reported unequivocally that the scientific team in which he participated found nano-thermite in the residue of the twin towers. This sensational finding was not mentioned in the US print and TV media to my knowledge.
“Several years after 9/11 architect Richard Gage formed Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth, an organization that has grown to include 1,700 experts. The plans of the towers have been studied. They were formidable structures. They were constructed to withstand airliner hits and fires. There is no credible explanation of their failure except intentional demolition.
“I also found disturbing the gullibility of the public, media, and Congress in the unquestioning acceptance of the official stories of the shoe-bomber, shampoo and bottled water bomber, and underwear bomber plots to blow up airliners in transit. These schemes are farcical. How can we believe that al Qaeda, capable of pulling off the most fantastic terrorist attack in history and capable of devising improvised explosive devices (IEDs) that kill and maim US troops and destroy US military vehicles would rely on something that had to be lighted with a match [Roberts apparently is aware that you cannot initiate an explosion of plastic explosives with a match. It is precisely that fact that proves this was a plot not intended to cause anything but an excuse to give TSA more power to inspect liquids and install body scanners. Any trained terrorist would have known that you must have a blasting cap—not a match to set this off]. And, the liquid bomb would not have required extended time in a lavatory to be mixed (all to no effect, according to experts).
“The circumstantial evidence is that these were orchestrated events designed to keep fear alive, to create new intrusive powers for a new over-arching federal policy agency, to accustom US citizens to intrusive searches and a police force to conducting them, and to sell expensive porno-scanners and now more advanced devices to the Transportation Safety Administration. Apparently, this expensive collection of high-tech gadgetry is insufficient to protect us from terrorists, and in August 2012 the Department of Homeland Security put in an order for 750 million rounds of ammunition, enough to shoot every person in the US 2.5 times.
“Naive and gullible Americans claim that if some part of the US government had been involved in 9/11, “someone would have talked by now.” A comforting thought, perhaps, but nothing more [Eventually, someone might (on their death bed), as the additional shooters did in the JFK assassination]. Consider, for example, the cover-up by the US government of the 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty that killed or wounded most of the crew but failed to sink the ship. As the survivors have testified, they were ordered in a threatening way not to speak about the event. It was twelve years later before one of the USS Liberty’s officers, James Ennes, told the story of the attack in his book, Assault on the Liberty. I continue to wonder how the professionals at the National Institute of Standards and Technology feel about being maneuvered by the federal government into the unscientific position NIST took concerning the destruction of the WTC towers [Or how long the explosives workers who set the charges can live with themselves].
“What will be the outcome of the doubts about the official story raised by experts? I worry that most Americans are too mentally and emotionally weak to be able to come to grips with the truth [a very good point]. They are far more comfortable with the story that enemies attacked America successfully despite the massive national security state in place [that old knee-jerk patriotism at work that infects a lot of conservatives. The longer it persists, the harder it is for Americans to believe the truth when it comes to them—which includes the searing truth that they were part of the majority that was deceived]. The American public has proved itself to be so cowardly that it willingly, without a peep, sacrificed its civil liberty and the protections of law guaranteed by the Constitution in order to be ‘safe.’
“Congress is not about to expose itself for having squandered trillions of dollars on pointless wars based on an orchestrated ‘new Pearl Harbor.’ When the neoconservatives said that a ‘new Pearl Harbor’ was a requirement for their wars for American/Israeli hegemony, they set the stage for the 21st century wars that Washington has launched. If Syria falls, there is only Iran, and then Washington stands in direct confrontation with Russia and China.
“Unless Russia and China can be overthrown with ‘color revolutions,’ [won’t happen] these two nuclear powers are unlikely to submit to Washington’s hegemony. The world as we know it might be drawing to a close [I think Roberts is finally getting the big picture. What he doesn’t know is that the dark side of government is trying to cover for that future war. He only sees them as antagonizing Russia or China, but may not understand this is part of the next and biggest “New Pearl Harbor.].”

THIS WEEK’S ANALYSIS:
GOP Convention: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Where does the Ron Paul Movement go from Here?
Collapse of Morgan Stanley Imminent?
WHERE DOES THE RON PAUL MOVEMENT GO FROM HERE?

[…]

Is there a path to winning back America as a nation? No, I think we’ve past the point of no return. I’ve been in this battle all my adult life, and here are my conclusions that preclude winning back the entire nation:
1) The people are no longer worthy of liberty. Americans as a whole are soft, materialistic and too content with life to fight, let alone recognize the loss of liberty. As long as they are allowed to go to church and buy what they want, they think they are free. But the noose is tightening. The youth are even softer, so the trend is in the wrong direction. Americans may still consider themselves a religious people, but religion, for the most part, doesn’t change their little bad habits, so at some point their religion is not leading to righteousness. They stop listening to the refining voice of conscience. Religious people don’t even honor the Sabbath anymore. To the Lord, listening to the personal promptings of conscience is where the real test of religiosity lies and most Christians are chronic violators of conscience in the “little things” relative to weight control, nutrition, recreation choices, use of time and failure to discipline children. Trouble is, this callous disregard for the “still small voice” leads to bigger problems and worse decisions. That is why immorality and divorce are high even among church goers. There are notable exceptions, but in general America is getting more unworthy of being saved by God.
2) Americans are lazy about finding truth. Conservatives constantly claim that reforming the education system will turn things around, that American children are starved for good information. But there are two problems here:
A. The education monopoly by government precludes that kind of change. Ever get elected to a school board? If you do you’ll find that state laws prohibit you pointing the curriculum in any other way but that which “credentialed educators” insist you must go, and the establishment controls the credentials. Only complete privatization of education will give parents the freedom to choose—but the establishment isn’t going to let that happen and there are way too many conservatives who would hate to have to pay user fees for those expensive public schools should other non-users be rightfully exempt.
B. I went to public schools and could tell I wasn’t being told the truth about many things. I sensed that something was wrong and went elsewhere to find truth. Today, more than ever with the vast information on the web, the truth is out there (except for most of the deepest and darkest secrets of conspiracy), and if people don’t find it, something is wrong with them relative to the workings of conscience and self control. That’s my point. Far too many people have become immune to the faint warning signals that something is wrong, or if they do hear it, they are too busy searching for material welfare to care. That’s the main reason why this downward track isn’t solvable by external education
3) Good people who are aware are too few to win peacefully: Ever since I worked in Washington and had access to conservative polling data, I’ve realized we don’t have the numbers to win by majority rule. The benefit-corrupted who are on some form of government payment exceed 50% of US inhabitants. Not all of them vote Democratic, but there is a tendency to resist cuts that affects them.
Here are my estimates: Almost all people who are aware of the constitutional crisis have gravitated to the Ron Paul position. His supporters represent, at the most, about 20% of Republicans, but Republicans only represent about 40% of the nation. That means constitutional conservatives and libertarians only represent 8% of the nation.
That 8% is a pretty realistic number, but even if it’s 10% people are tempted to think that since we doubled our numbers in the past 4 years, we can do it again. Not so. Already, there is a distinct resistance when you push past the 10% mark. People aren’t interested. Romney Republicans are resistant to anything that isn’t mainstream.
On the upbeat side, I think that we could possibly get 30% of Republicans to come around if we had another Ron Paul. Rand Paul could certainly achieve those kinds of numbers, but that’s because he would soften his father’s positions. But even with those numbers Rand still wouldn’t win. The establishment won’t allow real change. They won’t allow anyone to get elected unless the make the kind of deep concessions Mitt Romney has, and even then they don’t like it.
4) The US can never pay off the debt or quit deficit spending: Deficit spending got us into this mess, and politicians can’t stop. They love deficit spending and so does the public because it shields them from the pain for paying for wars, foreign aid, education loans, bailouts, tax increases, welfare, and subsidies. Everything is painless until you’re bankrupt and we’re still at least a decade away from that. Rest assured, they’ll give us another world war before that comes due. That’s been their plan all along.
5) The Globalist Conspiracy is too strong to overthrow: They don’t have to have absolute control of everything—effective control is enough. They use a lot of “incentives” to control a vast network of hirelings (willing yes-men) around them who may not fully understand the nature of a conspiracy of power—but they will do their bidding, either out of ignorance, blind pro-government sentiments, promises of advancement, money, or threats. And, don’t forget about immunity—that promise that is ever present when they enter dark side activities, after first having proven that they have sufficient sins to be blackmailed.
How would a Ron Paul survive even if elected? The Secret Service was integral to the killing of Pres. Kennedy. The FBI and CIA both covered up and hired the mafia/CIA hitmen that did the job. There is a dark side of the other federal agencies as well—the DEA, INS, DHS, IRS and even the military. How could an honest president even begin to penetrate, let alone clean out those nests of criminals when they control all the surveillance machinery. How would you gather evidence on them if those on the inside denied it to you? You can’t even think about mounting a good old “Revolutionary War” in today’s age of Big Brother and his All-Seeing Eye.
As for legislative or judicial protection (the so-called separation of powers), I estimate that the government has culpable files on about 75-80% of members of Congress, almost all Police Chiefs in major cities, and most higher judges in the nation, all the way to the Supreme Court. They look for dirt on anyone who starts to rise in the political arena and use those files to control them. Ever wonder why judges almost always back government power, or even abusive police in the face of citizen complaints?
6) States have become corrupt too: It is only partially true that state and local governments are easier to reform than the federal government. All state governments have corruption problems and some states like California, Illinois and New York have corruption machines that rival the mafia. Most large cities are also totally corrupt inside. That said, some states are clearly less corrupt than others, but there is an establishment good ‘old boy network, closely allied with the liberal press in every major city that works together to make sure than no Ron Paul or free market revolutionary gains control. When they do by political fluke (think Evan Mecham, governor of Arizona—a Cleon Skousen trained constitutionalist), the media lies in wait until they make a verbal gaffe and then they run him out of town with a recall election. Scott Walker beat them in Wisconsin, but that was an exception, and he wasn’t really threatening to clean the whole house. Don’t expect that exception to become the rule.
What about the God is in Control argument? Optimistic Christian conservatives always throw out the argument that “God is in Control” and so we don’t have to worry. He has the power to change things. As a believer, I agree. He does have the power. But the real question is will He intervene to save us? And, is America worthy of being saved by God? I don’t think so anymore. That doesn’t mean all is lost for everyone, but it does point to us heading for a great period of tribulation and the loss of liberty at the national level as it morphs into the NWO.
I’m a religious person, and keep my eyes open constantly searching for signs that God is intervening as he did in the nation’s founding—allowing a set of leaders to rise to positions of influence where they can turn the tide, or even allowing major financing to come to principled people so they can bypass the establishment media, or schools, and fund a national movement to renew America. Nothing has happened. The big money only goes to ineffective or mainstream causes. We do have ample numbers of great thinkers with ideals and principles as profound as America’s founders, but none have been allowed to rise in power. Ron Paul got the closest.
Those ministers who have achieved great wealth and fame in televangelism have done so by singing the easy gospel that people want to hear. Those that have been granted access to the White House prayer breakfast meetings during the Bush administration were those who refused to speak up or criticize the big government or war agenda. All the real champions of freedom have been left on the sidelines. Ron Paul is the only one to even get close to a run at the presidency and he has been shut down—but not without building the movement. I’ve seen God’s hand helping to gather the remnant, but no indications of any real optimism toward beating the mammoth evil that is growing even faster than the Liberty movement.
Mitt Romney, though religious, is not the political savior Christians are looking for. He may think God has helped him along the way, but the only way he has gotten this far is by surrounding himself by minions of the devil’s neocon camp. I guarantee you that Mitt Romney, if elected, will be a great disappointment to conservatives. All the good things he proposes will go down in defeat. He will not be allowed to put forth any real constitutionalists for the Supreme Court. They will be blocked in the Senate, and like Reagan, he will finally give in and nominate those the establishment agrees to. He will not overturn abortion. Obamacare will not be shut down.
Remember, to have faith in the salvation of the nation as a whole, the people have to be worthy and I think it has to be more than a mere 10%. God might have spared one corrupt city in Old Testament times if Abraham could find but 10 righteous men, but even had he found 10, sparing a city is a far cry from restoring a nation to full blown liberty. That can’t be done without the full reform of a majority of the people. Considering the overwhelming moral evil in our nation that burdens the Lord’s sense of justice, I think He is bound to let the sword of justice fall. You can’t just manufacture specific faith in a proposed event by hope only or wishful thinking. For specific faith in a hoped for event to be valid, you have to have the spiritual confirmation that it is the Lord’s will, and that must come from God and not rosy-eyed optimism. While the Lord might certainly want the nation to be saved, God himself cannot arbitrarily disregard the decree of justice upon which the universe operates. Only upon terms of repentance and change of heart can condemnation be averted, and I don’t see that happening. I’m keeping an open heart and mind that it might, but the signs aren’t good.
Conclusion: All is not lost even if we don’t have the numbers to win politically. We can still fight for liberty to gain a minority foothold within the nation–a resistance movement, if you will, even if we can’t win back the whole. But when you are dealing with a minority of good people, to exercise any power at all, you have to congregate together so that you have a majority in a region or local area. Our greatest problem in a losing battle of attrition is that we are spread out uniformly across the nation—dispersed in a sea of humanity where none of us constitute a majority.
All efforts to get people to relocate to a Free State (FreeStateProject.org) have been relatively unsuccessful. Their chosen state, New Hampshire, isn’t the best place and it isn’t welcoming the “takeover” that is viewed as a threat to the establishment of that state. There is also the a constant fear among adherents that “times are too difficult economically” for people to pick up and start over in a new location. And that is probably true for most. But it won’t be any easier when we are forced to flee to safer places due to war and economic collapse (which won’t come until war, in my opinion).
If there is any hope for liberty it will be because pockets of liberty and resistance form during the next war when government itself is busy saving itself and not targeting freedom-loving dissidents–yet. I think you’ll see the time, when crisis comes that the social unrest will drive people out of their current places and the Lord will inspire those who can listen to go to places of refuge where other like-minded people are also gathering. Some will be inspired to go to safe places before the crisis, and if you are one of those, heed the promptings. We still have perhaps a decade before the worst comes upon us, so despite all the rumors of collapse, you still have time to make an informed move.

THIS WEEK’S ANALYSIS:
GOP Convention: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Where does the Ron Paul Movement go from Here?
Collapse of Morgan Stanley Imminent?
GOP CONVENTION: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Political nominating conventions have become nothing more than propaganda parties, wasting viewers’ time with hours of mindless cheerleading for things people want to hear but leaders have no intention of giving. The degree of deception and misdirection going on behind the scenes was the only interesting story to come out of the Tampa Republican Convention this week. The rest of it was predictable and boring. To paraphrase from a famous Clint Eastwood movie, we saw the Good, albeit feigned, the Bad, as in boring, and a lot of ugly where rules were changed to preclude any future Ron Paul revolutions in the Republican party.
The Good: Ann Romney acquitted herself well in her speech, despite struggling with MS and a good case of nerves, as she tried to relay the more human side of Mitt Romney. He does have one. Sure, he’s an overly ambitious businessman who is in way over his head as he tries to please the establishment, but he’s also a good family man, who has been faithful to his wife. Like any good Mormon, Mitt is committed to doing a lot of service to others, but as she pointed out, he never allows his staff to call reporters to come watch—which says a lot. As she put it, “Mitt doesn’t like to talk about how he’s helped others,” she said. “Because he sees it as a privilege not a political talking point.”
Nikki Haley, governor of South Carolina, is a rising conservative star and gave a good speech. Even the Washington Post had to admit, “[She] was the best. She was poised and relaxed and drew the crowd to their feet with her mentions of the Palmetto State’s voter ID law and the National Labor Relations Board fight.”
Another highlight of the convention was the appearance of Ron Paul on the floor. You would have thought he was the actual nominee for President, or a rock star. All the cameras were on him as he was surrounded by well wishers seeking to shake his hand. No other failed nominee got this kind of response.
Everyone knew of the establishment efforts, illegal and unprincipled, to derail his candidacy, so it gave Paul the aura of the martyred hero. Indeed, he had the glow of a winner as he waved triumphantly to the crowd, as if the fact that the establishment had successfully beat him down yet another time, had not sunk in or wasn’t relevant. To an extent it this was true. No other loser has come out such a winner as Ron Paul.
Even the establishment has to admit that the movement Ron Paul spawned is here to stay and isn’t going away anytime soon. Thus, while the Republican National Committee refused to give Ron Paul a speaking slot—made all the more insulting by the low caliber of speeches filling the hall hour after hour—they felt obligated to play a tribute video to the man.
It was a nice touch, professionally done and captured Ron Paul’s greatness. At the same time it carefully omitted any mention of his foreign policy ideas to end foreign wars and bring our troops home – the key difference between Ron and the other Republican candidates. In a way it was the edited speech they wanted him to stoop to. There was plenty of praise but it was clear the establishment was only giving grudging tribute to placate his followers. I had to cringe at the inclusion of the feigned words of praise from minority leader Sen. Mitch McConnell. It was typical of the outright false motives behind the piece that the RNC would have an establishment hack singing the praises of Ron Paul—someone who never supported any of the congressman’s initiatives. But there were other conservatives including Rep. Justin Amash who were utterly sincere in their praise of liberty’s “Dr. No” —an honorable title for the only congressman who consistently refuses to go along with unconstitutional legislation. Here’s a video link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=CisZjD49erU
Given all this fancy praise, why were they so ruthless in refusing to let him speak? Wisely, Dr. Paul turned down their two conditions for a speaking slot: endorse Mitt Romney and allow the RNC to vet his speech. Even as Fox News’ Neil Cavuto tried time and again during a friendly interview to extract an implied endorsement for Mitt Romney, Ron Paul refused. He stated that he would forever discredit all that he has stood for if he endorses anyone who continues to push for more unconstitutional wars.
In 2008 the RNC wouldn’t even let Congressman Paul on the floor of the convention without a handler. This year he couldn’t be denied, so the Republican establishment had to feign tolerance and support, while knifing his movement in the back (more on that later in The Ugly part). The video tribute was only intended to assuage his supporters, without giving an inch on the principles they want enacted. The party knows that if the Paulites stay home or vote Third Party, Mitt’s going to lose.
Forget about the few platform wins the Paulites and Tea Party made. The platform doesn’t bind anyone in the party to anything. It is pure symbolism; pure greasy ointment to salve the conscience of those who still think the Republican party will save the country. It won’t—ever.
The Bad: Boring, predictable, rah-rah speeches were too numerous to mention. But I was clearly unimpressed with weak speeches by candidates Tim Pawlenty and Rick Santorum. The latter wore his trademark plastered smile, and whose hand gestures were as awkward as a teenager in his first speech class.
Newt Gingrich was his usual slick self without an ounce of sincerity. Neocon Condolezza Rice was particularly disturbing with her pretensions toward conservativism. As a real live globalist, it was equally disturbing to see her seated on the other side of Mitt Romney—probably an indication that she will get a coveted spot in the cabinet—perhaps as Secretary of State again.
But the best of the worst was clearly the keynote address by Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey. It was clearly all about him, not Mitt Romney or even the Republican Party. At least he wasn’t boring—far from it. He has a good, natural presentation style if you can get past the inherent contradictions in his lack of personal restraint (obesity) and his push for fiscal restraint in government. He went through every laudable aspect of his background, tooting his own horn and playing up every supposed victory achieved in New Jersey (which still won’t recover in the long-term). As the Washington Post put it, “Christie will take some (justified) criticism for spending 95 percent of his speech talking about himself and five percent talking about Mitt Romney. (And that’s being generous.) But, Christie burnished the Christie brand with his keynote address, which, after all, was kind of his goal. Christie was blunt and remarkably relaxed. He came across as entirely at ease in his own skin and as close to a regular guy as politics can produce. In short, he did nothing to hurt chatter about his own future as a presidential candidate in 2016 or 2020 — and that makes him a winner in our scoring system.”
…And a loser in mine. Christie was the recipient of one of those instant phony polling surges the media pulled during the early campaign trying to promote him for president in order to derail Romney. They only do that for certified insiders. Christie is not a true conservative and has some big skeletons in his closet that, in my opinion, he was unwilling to risk exposing at this time and that is why he backed out. Still, he’s clearly prepping for a run in 2016 and the establishment will be behind it, so beware.
Mitt Romney’s speech was disappointing as he pandered to American sensibilities by saying Republicans were all rooting for Obama to succeed—hogwash! But, disappointed now, we need to move on to the Romney solution. There is no solution. Romney cannot produce the fix he promises. No one can given the state of public benefit corruption. We’re too far in debt with zero tolerance for the pain of withdrawal from government spending—just like Greece, Italy and every other socialist country.
The Ugly: The Left was having a ball watching the establishment Republicans working very hard to stop the Ron Paul faction—the only faction that the principled Left (people who mistakenly think government is the way to help people, but don’t see the hidden victims) can find common cause. In fact they skewered the Paul delegates in a treacherous move. Philip Geraldi gave a great summary:
“It was perhaps inevitable that the GOP would turn on the Ron Paul supporters to eliminate them from their version of a body politic. I predicted it would take place and so did a number of others. But what has been surprising is the timing. It seemed reasonable to assume that the Republican gatekeepers would wait until after the convention or even the election to keep the Paulistas in harness and supportive, nurturing their faint hopes that their message would somehow have an impact, encouraging them to vote for Mitt Romney.
“But the Republican Party leadership decided instead to purge Paul supporters at both the state and local level and also on the convention floor. As Justin Raimondo has noted, a harrowing worthy of Josef Stalin took place in a number of states employing procedural ploys, stripping delegates of their accreditation, and even illegal closing of caucuses, which denied to Ron Paul’s supporters any ability to have significant impact at the convention. The deal was sealed when the GOP rules committee revised its convention guidelines, initially to make it impossible to cast dissident votes or to propose nominations from the floor, and subsequently to allow the national party to veto and replace state delegates.
“Jordan Bloom, who attended the Paul events in Tampa, reported that Paul’s supporters were angry and frustrated, many having experienced political corruption up close and personal for the first time. One friend of mine on Capitol Hill likened the caucus deals finally arrived at in various states to having a burglar steal everything you own and then return a couple of days later to give you half back if you do not complain [in Maine]. That’s what happened. The Paul supporters were outgunned and out-muscled and, led by a campaign team that wanted accommodation, wound up taking what they could get.”
Andy Kroll and David Corn summarized some of the tactics that enraged Paulites: “During the roll call of the states, the Paulites were irate, screaming at the podium, as convention secretary Kim Reynolds declined to read out the delegate votes for any candidate other than Romney [this was an egregious sleight of hand against Paul and others, as if they didn’t matter—only Romney. It demonstrated just how rigged even the administrative offices are within the party and smacks of the Soviet styled one party state]. ‘The Republican Party is so afraid of Ron Paul that they won’t repeat his name,’ shouted Jim Ayala, a Nevada delegate and Paul supporter wearing an Oath Keepers T-shirt.”
Here is the actual delegate count for states that had votes for other candidates than Romney. Notice that with all the manipulation against Paul, he still got a significant number of votes and even won Iowa, Nevada, and Minnesota:
Iowa: 22 Ron Paul, 6 Romney.[cheers for Paul. The roll taker repeats the Romney total].
Hawaii: 17 Romney, 3 Paul
Georgia gives 72 to Romney, [microphone gets tuned off for the Paul total. Paul got 3].
Louisiana: 12 Paul, 32 Romney, 2 Santorum
North Dakota: 5 Paul, 23 Romney
North Carolina: 7 Paul, 48 Romney
New Jersey puts Romney over the top.
New Hampshire: 3 Paul, 9 Romney
Nevada: 17 Paul, 5 Romney, 5 abstain [because they weren’t allowed to vote for Paul]
Maine: 10 Paul, 14 Romney.
Mississippi: 4 Paul, 3 Santorum, 45 Romney
Minnesota: 33 to Paul, 1 Santorum, 6 Romney [Proud to have run a fair election with integrity]
Michigan: 4 Paul, 24 Romney [only Romney’s total (2061) announced at the end].
Oregon: 4 Paul, 1 Santorum, 23 Romney
Oklahoma: 6 Paul, 34 Romney
Pennsylvanian: 5 Paul [read as “Paul Ryan”], 67 Romney
Rhode Island: 4 Paul, 15 Romney
South Carolina: 1 Paul, 24 Romney
Texas: 20 Paul, 130 Romney
Washington: 5 Paul, 38 Romney
Virgin Islands: 1 Paul, 8 Romney
Virginia: 3 Paul, 46 Romney
Vermont: 4 Paul, 13 Romney
Oregon: 4 Paul, 1 Santorum, 23 Romney
Oklahoma: 6 Paul, 34 Romney
“Minutes earlier, the Paulites were enraged when the convention adopted the new set of rules on a voice vote during which the Paul backers out-shouted the other delegates. One Nevada delegate and Paul supporter, Mark Carducci, thrust two middle fingers into the air toward RNC Chairman Reince Priebus and House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), screaming “F**k you, tyrants!”
The Republican National Committee had altered the convention rules to bind delegates in future elections to vote for the candidate who wins their state’s primary or caucus. This change would hurt outsider candidates like Paul, who collected 158 delegates during the Republican primary season. The RNC also refused to recognize Paul’s delegates from Maine, and this incensed his many supporters, leading to a nasty yelling match on the convention floor immediately before Mitt Romney’s nomination. ‘Seat them now!’ the Paulites yelled.”
Maine’s Republican governor Paul LePage boycotted the convention due to this arbitrary denial of Ron Paul delegates. The Maine Ron Paul delegation was in the balcony and all left in protest when they were refused recognition. In an interview with Mitt Romney, Ben Swan of Reality Check directly asked Romney what he thought about the Maine delegation scandal. Romney claimed he wasn’t aware of what was going on there—a bald faced lie.
While others assume he was directing all this, I don’t believe that is true. There are professional controllers behind the scenes at Republican headquarters that are doing these direct attacks. But Romney is responsible insofar as he didn’t lift a finger to use his influence to stop it. Very disappointing and it doesn’t bode well for the courage it will take to stop illegal acts of government that he might see if elected.
“Roger Leahy, an Iowa delegate and Paul supporter, says he and other Paulites had pleaded with Reynolds to recognize Paul during the roll call, but she would not. ‘This is the Republican steamroller,’ Leahy said. All this led to the unseated Maine Paul delegates storming out of the convention together. And a pack of angry Paul fans all clad in white ballcaps left the Tampa Bay Times Forum. The Romney campaign and the RNC had hoped to avoid this kind of floor flight, large or small, during the convention. But once it was done, the convention proceeded and Romney was nominated, to polite applause.
“Following the dustup, Yelena Vorobyov (pictured below), a 30-year-old Paul delegate from Apple Valley, Minnesota, was eager to vent. Barely taking a breath, she said: ‘This is just evidence of the manipulation of the Republican Party. They’re not even allowing us to bring signs in, but they brought in their own [pro-Romney] signs. We couldn’t nominate Ron Paul.
The ‘no’ for not passing the rules was louder than the ‘aye’ [referring to the previous vote which prompted the “tyrant” shout] and they ruled in favor of the rules. They’re cheating. The Republican National Committee is not transparent and does not have integrity. They stole votes. They stole delegates. They refused to send buses for our delegates. It’s a totalitarian process. This is not democracy. It’s a really sad day for us. I’ve worked for Republican candidates since I was 16. We believed the Republican Party had more integrity. Boy, did they prove us wrong.’ Yelena Vorobyov, one of Ron Paul’s 33 Minnesota delegates, had to make her own sign on the floor, and she was damn mad.”
Bottom line is that the Republicans have really alienated the Ron Paul faction and most will not vote for Romney. I certainly won’t. The longer we accede to these kinds of control tactics and outright fraudulent tactics, in the vain hope that they will change or that we can take it over, the longer it will take to convince others that we must forge a new way with principled leaders.
As a fitting establishment sleight to Ron Paul, he and his entire party, using a private plane, were delayed by TSA. Lew Rockwell posted this: “Ron, Carol, and one of their granddaughters left the GOP snake pit yesterday afternoon, but the State was not yet through with them. At the little airport in Clearwater, 8 TSA agents descended on them and ordered them not to board their private plane. First, the pilots, the airplane, and the passengers would have to be screened in great detail, because Romney might be nearby [he wasn’t, and he isn’t president so the TSA can’t throw up a special airport restriction like they do for Obama—which is very irritating to us pilots]. After a long examination of the pilots and their credentials, the agents said they had to check the plane for explosives [why would they have to do that? They aren’t arriving, they are departing!]. One of the pilots noted that the plane, full of aviation fuel, was already a bomb. Then Carol Paul, who has a pacemaker, refused to be screened, and an aide started taking video of the whole rotten process. At that point, the TSA backed down and let them through, to Texas and freedom.”

COLLAPSE PREDICTIONS REACHING A CRESCENDO
I do a lot of consultations for people around the country who have bought my book Strategic Relocation. Of late, somewhere in that conversation, every single client asks me if I think economic collapse is imminent. That’s all they hear about on the internet from Alex Jones, Lindsey Williams, Gerald Celente, Steve Quayle, Doug Hagmann, Bill Deagle and many others.
Despite my attempt in last week’s WAB attempting to bring calm to the internet rumors of “Government preparing for collapse” none of my fellow commentators on the Right seem to be listening. The stories and predictions of imminent monetary and banking collapse, followed by martial law seem to grow each day as one commentator relies on the others’ stories to build their case. It culminated in a Red Alert by Alex Jones after major US banks were reportedly warned by government to prepare for collapse by October of this year. Here’s the Alex Jones warning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CZzqYg5Cz4
But there’s a problem. This alert is based upon a Reuters article about a two year old investigation into these rumors. Through a FOIC request they found out that each of the too big to fail banks had been requested to develop “living will” type transition plans in case they failed, and how they would like to see their assets transferred. It makes no mention of October, and there isn’t any reason to suspect from the article that the FED or the banks are expecting an imminent collapse of the banking system. What it really implies is that the insider banks want to make sure there is an orderly transfer of their assets to other big banks should they fail. It’s more of a “keep it in the family” preparation than an indication that the world’s money system is losing control.
Nevertheless, each of the largest talk-show hosts on the constitutional Right seem to be reinforcing each other referencing the same unnamed “sources inside government” who keep feeding them this information. Time and again in the past these sources have been proven wrong:
Remember the “Christian law enforcement officer who overheard FEMA officers telling county officials about an imminent bank holiday coming.” This was August of 2010 and turned out to be totally bogus. Remember the Doug Hagmann government source who recently claimed that patriotic high ranking officers in the military are planning a coup to take down these globalist leaders. That too was bogus. Not only will it not happen (the military if full of yesmen at the top) but if the source were telling the truth, he would have killed the plan by announcing it on radio. All the conspirators for liberty would be found out and dead by now.
Alex is covering himself by saying that this banking collapse doesn’t have to happen. If we give this enough publicity, he says, the PTB’s cover will be blown and they won’t do this. No real nefarious plan of the government has ever been revealed before, so there is no historical precedent for this claim that outing this plan can stop it. But it will allow predictors to excuse themselves when this doesn’t happen, rather than apologize for spreading unfounded rumors.
To be clear, I’m not debunking this pattern of disinformation because I dislike Alex or any other of the big-audience talk show hosts. They do a great service most of the time. I just don’t want them or the movement to be discredited by this hype. It’s time the Right settled down to analyze more carefully how the PTB operate and why they won’t pull off a collapse or martial law without probable cause—or at least one that appears probable to the public. Yes, a banking shut down would provide that rationale, but it would also collapse the economy and they would get the blame—and so would Obama (who they want to re-elect).
Yes, the government could certainly pull something like this, but I don’t see any reason why they would and it would convince people there is a huge conspiracy in government. It’s too early to do what WWIII will someday do for them—and give them cover too (so they don’t get the blame).
Another issue bolstering the warnings about collapse leading to Martial Law are the stories about millions of rounds of ammunition purchased by DHS, the IRS and other federal agencies. There was a typographic error exaggerating the number of rounds to be purchased by the Fisheries Enforcement service that got hyped as well. The conspiracy got even more suspicious when it was discover the DHS had blacked out portions of its order posted to the public – specifically, information about the number and type of ammunition sought. Paul Joseph Watson of Infowars.com has the story:
“The Department of Homeland Security has redacted information relating to the quantity of bullets it is buying following a controversy concerning the agency’s purchase of over a billion rounds of ammo, which many fear is a sign the federal government is preparing for civil unrest in the United States [which I am disputing. It’s an eventual threat but not imminent].
“Despite the fact that documents are only supposed to be redacted if authorized by Congress or for national security reasons, a solicitation posted on the FedBizOpps website yesterday concerning ammunition purchases made by the DHS on behalf of Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) contains numerous blacked out sections.
“The Department of Homeland Security’s decision to black out sections of the document, including the number of bullets being purchased, is likely to be related to a massive controversy which has snowballed over the last few weeks pertaining to concerns as to why the federal agency has purchased well over a billion rounds of bullets over the last 6 months alone.
“The DHS’ decision back in March to purchase 450 million rounds of .40-caliber hollow point bullets that are designed to expand upon entry and cause maximum organ damage prompted questions as to why the federal agency required such powerful bullets and in such large quantities merely for training purposes [good point].
“This was followed up by a more recent order for a further 750 million rounds of assorted ammunition, including bullets that can penetrate walls. Given the fact that the DHS is also acquiring riot gear in preparation for civil unrest which could take place at the upcoming DNC, RNC and presidential inauguration, the purchase of ammunition in such massive numbers has stoked fears that the federal government could be preparing to use force against the American people [that’s hype in my opinion when you imply it is imminent].”
There is another reason for the outrageous quantity. In typical bid fashion, requisitions are created for the purpose of establishing a price and a “maximum quantity, not to exceed” that is almost always never actually ordered or received. So, from these documents, you cannot assume the DHS actually intends to take delivery of this quantity—which is absolutely unnecessary even in a martial law scenario.
Martial law doesn’t intend to shoot everyone, but control them and restrict them in time and space. It takes hundreds of thousands of police and military to enforce martial law nationwide, and it slows down the economy to a crawl—just what the PTB need to reassure the public that there’s “no conspiracy.” I don’t think they are so stupid as to pull this off anytime soon.
