During the period of U.S. combat involvement in the Vietnam War, there was considerable argument about progress among the Department of Defense under Robert McNamara, the CIA, and, to some extent, the intelligence staff of Military Assistance Command Vietnam. In general, the military was consistently more optimistic than the CIA. Sam Adams, a junior CIA analyst with responsibilities for estimating the actual damage to the enemy, eventually resigned from the CIA, after expressing concern to Director of Central Intelligence Richard Helms with estimates that were changed for interagency and White House political reasons. Adams afterward wrote the book War of Numbers.
Things came to a head in the mid-1970s, around the time of Watergate. A dominant feature of political life during that period were the attempts of Congress to assert oversight of the U.S. Presidency and the executive branch of the U.S. government. Revelations about past CIA activities, such as assassinations and attempted assassinations of foreign leaders (most notably Fidel Castro and Rafael Trujillo) and illegal domestic spying on U.S. citizens, provided the opportunities to increase Congressional oversight of U.S. intelligence operations.[64]
Hastening the CIA’s fall from grace were the burglary of the Watergate headquarters of the Democratic Party by ex-CIA agents, and President Richard Nixon’s subsequent attempt to use the CIA to impede the FBI’s investigation of the burglary. In the famous “smoking gun” recording that led to President Nixon’s resignation, Nixon ordered his chief of staff, H. R. Haldeman, to tell the CIA that further investigation of Watergate would “open the whole can of worms” about the Bay of Pigs Invasion of Cuba.[65] In this way Nixon and Haldemann ensured that the CIA’s No. 1 and No. 2 ranking officials, Richard Helms and Vernon Walters, communicated to FBI Director L. Patrick Gray that the FBI should not follow the money trail from the burglars to the Committee to Re-elect the President, as it would uncover CIA informants in Mexico. The FBI initially agreed to this due to a long-standing agreement between the FBI and CIA not to uncover each other’s sources of information. Though within a couple of weeks the FBI demanded this request in writing, and when no such formal request came, the FBI resumed its investigation into the money trail. Nonetheless, when the smoking gun tapes were made public, damage to the public’s perception of CIA’s top officials, and thus to the CIA as a whole, could not be avoided.[66]
In 1973, then-Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) James R. Schlesinger commissioned reports — known as the “Family Jewels” — on illegal activities by the Agency. In December 1974, investigative journalist Seymour Hersh broke the news of the “Family Jewels” (after it was leaked to him by DCI William Colby) in a front-page article in The New York Times, claiming that the CIA had assassinated foreign leaders, and had illegally conducted surveillance on some 7,000 U.S. citizens involved in the antiwar movement (Operation CHAOS).[64] The CIA had also experimented on people, who unknowingly took LSD (among other things).[64]
Congress responded to the disturbing charges in 1975, investigating the CIA in the Senate via the Church Committee, chaired by Senator Frank Church (D-Idaho), and in the House of Representatives via the Pike Committee, chaired by Congressman Otis Pike (D-NY).[64] In addition, President Gerald Ford created the Rockefeller Commission,[64] and issued an executive order prohibiting the assassination of foreign leaders.
During the investigation, Schlesinger’s successor as DCI, William Colby, testified before Congress on 32 occasions in 1975, including about the “Family Jewels”.[67] Colby later stated that he believed that providing Congress with this information was the correct thing to do, and ultimately in the CIA’s own interests.[68] As the CIA fell out of favor with the public, Ford assured Americans that his administration was not involved: “There are no people presently employed in the White House who have a relationship with the CIA of which I am personally unaware.”[64]
Repercussions from the Iran-Contra affair arms smuggling scandal included the creation of the Intelligence Authorization Act in 1991. It defined covert operations as secret missions in geopolitical areas where the U.S. is neither openly nor apparently engaged. This also required an authorizing chain of command, including an official, presidential finding report and the informing of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, which, in emergencies, requires only “timely notification.”

Christopher Bollyn is an American journalist who has investigated the events of 9-11. He helped Professor Steven E. Jones in the spring and summer of 2006, when Jones found solid evidence of Thermite in the dust of the Twin Towers. The discovery and discussion of Thermite in the demolition of the World Trade Center led to serious trouble for both Jones and Bollyn. In the end Bollyn had to go into exile.
Christopher Bollyn has written several book on the subject, for example “Solving 9-11: The Deception that Changed the World”.

I felt badly that he wasn’t given more credit and air time by those who had a bigger platform. His real-history perspective was badly needed. And he understood there are dark, spiritual forces behind the globalists’ agenda.
I got to know Dr. Stan personally when Barbara invited us to visit with them in their home during a Radio Liberty conference:

Joel has long been a weekly guest for many years, which I almost always listened to, and often reported on at ToBeFree.
It’s sad to see that you’ve passed before seeing spiritual revival come, which is what we needed to significantly enough change America, while we still had the chance.

Dr. Stanley Monteith, the nationally syndicated radio host and author who spent nearly 50 years exposing the globalist agenda, paving the way for many patriots to do the same, passed away this morning at the age of 85.
For many decades, Dr. Monteith blazed the trail for liberty radio and his tireless work revolutionized the liberty movement.
“Dr. Stan,” as he was known, served on the front lines warning of the spiritual battle taking place between good and evil and did tremendous work in exposing the vast network of secret societies and mysterious forces behind the men who make up the “Brotherhood of Darkness.” He was also a pioneer in warning about the dangers of fluoride, vaccines and America’s fiat Federal Reserve currency.
Dr. Monteith was also a good friend and a source of inspiration for Alex Jones.
“He was one of those people who was always at the epicenter of good change, defending liberty and battling tyranny,” Jones said today. “He did it absolutely with a servant’s heart and that’s what mattered.”
The classic introduction of Dr. Stan’s radio show, Radio Liberty, galvanized listeners into actively searching for the real truth rather than accepting the false explanations of the world around them without question.

And the Israelis never let up. They keep pushing and pushing! Their subsequent racial, ethnic cleansing actions ever since are well documented, but have been intentionally hidden from most Americans — even killing the Arab’s hundred-year-old olive trees in the West Bank, so they can’t farm.

As if uprooted Palestinians had not suffered enough, WorldNetDaily owner Joseph Farah editorialized last week that Arab nations should invite Palestinians into their countries as citizens to start their lives over. Palestinians, all three million of them, should leave Israel forever. (wnd.com, Joseph Farah’s “Here’s My Mideast Peace Plan”)
Farah is serious. He persists in reflecting the Zionist lie that Arabs never had a significant national presence in Israel—and thus have no real claim to stay in Palestine or reclaim the land they fled in 1948.
Here are some of Farah’s latest misinformation and half-truths.

Many Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian and other ethnic influences contribute to Palestinian genetics. It is true the general Muslim/Arab conquest in the 7th century A.D. provided the dominant genome of the modern Palestinian. But well before significant Zionist occupation of Palestine, in 1890, a population of 431,800 Palestinian Muslim Arabs occupied the land. Only 42,900 Jews were present. This preponderance of Arabs over Jews in virtually all cities continued until Israeli statehood in 1948. This makes a lie of Farah’s next statement.
Farah: “The rest of what we euphemistically call ‘Palestine’ today was set aside as a homeland for the majority of people referring to themselves as ‘Palestinians’ at the time — Jews.”
Fact: According to this, the British and League of Nations in 1917 considered Jews a majority in Palestine and delegated Jordan the homeland for all “Palestinians.” What utter falsehood! Every statistic from that period shows that virtually all cities and towns averaged at least 98 percent Arab. The exception was Haifa, a Zionist stronghold. Even in 1948 Arabs outnumbered Jews 2 to 1 in Jerusalem.
Farah: “Interestingly, there was no call for ‘Palestinian’ statehood, until the territory, historically part of the ancient state or nation of Israel, was captured by re-born state of Israel during the Six-Day War.”
Fact: The Arab call for statehood led the British to grant the Palestinians this dream if they would help defeat the Turks. The Encyclopedia of the Palestine Problem exhaustively considers emergent Palestinian political parties which, after British betrayal in 1917, passionately worked toward statehood. Though plagued by dissension, they were united by the need to hold back ever-increasing Zionist expansion. They hoped to establish permanent boundaries of a Palestinian state, forever granting Palestinian Arabs autonomy and legal means to halt what they recognized as Zionist takeover.
It was Zionist terrorism that ended the United Nations’ willingness to ratify the Palestinian state. Just weeks before it would have happened, Jewish terrorists exploded in violent blood-letting. This provoked Arab military invasion from Jordan and Syria to assist their beleaguered Palestinian brethren. After the “Jewish War of Independence,” the Palestinian population was lessened by 800,000, with Israelis now occupying nearly most of what is modern Israel.
Yet Farah perversely says such mistreated Arabs should have no compensation for what they lost—”Palestine” should only be possessed by those who drove Arabs from their ancestral homes, businesses, farms, and orchards. The land today, Farah asserts, should not suffer the indignity of being carved up for the sake of illegitimate “Palestinians.”
Farah: “Does it really make sense to carve up the only Jewish state in the world with a land mass the size of New Jersey—less than 1 percent to create yet another Arab country out of whole cloth?”He says it is not the Israelis but the Arab countries which should now harbor three million Palestinians, again uprooted to an uncertain future. Farah holds Israel blameless for the existence of millions of Palestinians in concentration camps for the past 63 years. Instead, he says the Arabs are to blame. “The Arab world has purposefully oppressed their stateless cousins in refugee camps and occupation long enough.”
Fact: Farah is not advocating force to persuade Palestinians to accept hypothetical invitation by Arab countries. What is dangerous, however, is that he holds up the Palestinians as essentially without rights to stay in Palestine; the ideal solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is not learning to live together but complete removal of the offending race. Everybody is currently talking about Robin Williams and his tragic suicide. Many are puzzled as to how a man, who made so many people laugh, could be so depressed that he would violently end his life. What people are not learning is the deeper truth about the insidious forces that tormented Robin Williams and drove him to suicide.
Robin Williams acknowledged that he had opened himself up to transformative demonic powers that aided him on stage. Without the aid of such demonic powers, it is likely that you would have never have heard of Robin Williams and many other famous celebrities. Williams also recognized that these powers had manifested a very evil influence on stage and that there could be a hefty price to pay for their assistance. Williams told James Kaplan of US Weekly:
“Yeah! Literally, it’s like possession ‑ all of a sudden you’re in, and because it’s in front of a live audience, you just get this energy that just starts going…But there’s also that thing ‑ it is possession. In the old days you’d be burned for it…But there is something empowering about it. I mean, it is a place where you are totally ‑ it is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, where you really can become this other force. Maybe that’s why I don’t need to play evil characters [in movies], ’cause sometimes onstage you can cross that line and come back. Clubs are a weird kind of petri dish environment. I mean, that’s where people can get as dark as they can in comedy ‑ in the name of comedy, be talking about outrageous stuff and somehow come out the other side. I mean, that’s one place where you really want to push it” (Robin Williams, “Robin Williams,” by James Kaplan, US Weekly, January, 1999, p. 53).
Williams’ last statement quoted above answers the question as to why the demonic powers use entertainers. Their goal is to promote evil and darkness and increase mankind’s rebellion against God.
Williams went on to say on the heels of that admission:
“The people I’ve admired ‑ Jonathan [Winters], in his best days, was out. Gone. But the price he paid for it was deep” (Ibid).
Sadly, it seems that the price Robin Williams has now paid is just as deep as that of his idol, Jonathan Winters. In fact, in the same US Weekly Interview, James Kaplan says:
“With a gift for mimicry and improvisation that verged on demonic possession, Williams could even approach the artistry of his idol Jonathan Winters—a man whose genius took him, once or twice, over the edge into mental illness. Williams’ own version of hell has been extensively chronicled” (Ibid).
Like Robin Williams, Jonathan Winters had to contend with the tormenting demonic powers he utilized for fame and fortune. “These voices are always screaming to get out,” Winters told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, further admitting “They follow me around pretty much all day and night.”
At the height of Winter’s success, he voluntarily committed himself to a psychiatric hospital for eight months. Winters would later claim that if he were not careful, the authorities would put him back in the “zoo,” an obvious reference to the mental institution. Winters, like Williams, often fell into deep depression and struggled with heavy drinking.Comedians, like many famous musicians, pay the price for their fame by becoming enslaved to the demonic forces that possess and torment them. Jim Morrison, the frontman of America’s most successful band in the 60’s, admitted that he had to drink “to silence the constant voices of the demons” (James Riordin, “Break on Through: The Life and Death of Jim Morrison,” p. 23). The Door’s photographer, Frank Lisciandro, stated that,“Jim drank to quiet the ceaseless clamor of the demons, ghosts and spirits. He drank because there were demons and voices and spirits shouting inside of his head and he found that one of the ways to quell them was with alcohol” (Ibid., p. 28).
