The Execution of Michael Servetus & My Primary Deal-Breaker with Calvinism

…many modern Calvinists have never actually read what John Calvin taught. Calvinist writer and pastor Tim Callies completely agrees:
“Many, and no doubt most Calvinists have never read a word of John Calvin. Instead they reluctantly call themselves Calvinists because they feel John Calvin was gifted by God to understand and interpret the Scriptures and that he restored to the church doctrine that had been lost for hundreds of years.”

When reading Calvin there’s no shortage of problematic stuff one will find, as Zack Hunt articulately wrote about recently. From teaching that God not only picks who will go to heaven but also picks who will go to hell (before they’re even born!) and that God is the agent who ordains every act of evil in the world….
My primary point of departure from Calvinism is looking at how Calvin lived, and being able to see that he didn’t grasp (or was just completely unwilling to obey) one of the most basic things Jesus taught: enemy love. And this brings us to the execution of Michael Servetus– my primary “do not pass go” moment with Calvin.
Michael Servetus (1511-1553) was a theological enemy of Calvin and the two had mutual disdain for the other (Servetus thought Calvin was obnoxious and in return, Calvin felt Servetus was pompous). Servetus rejected orthodox Christianity (issues such as the trinity), holding what would correctly be called heretical views. In those days heretics were executed, and at one point Servetus was arrested- but released for lack of evidence. Soon after, he was re-arrested by the Catholic church and convicted of a capital offense– thanks to John Calvin, who sent some of Servetus heretical writings to the authorities. However, Servetus escaped from prison and was free to write again.
Calvin had previously vowed that if it were at all possible, he’d have Servetus killed, but his escape from prison thwarted those hopes. It wouldn’t be long however before Calvin could fulfill the vow he made against Servetus in 1546:
“Servetus wrote to me a short time ago, and sent a huge volume of his dreamings and pompous triflings with his letter. I was to find among them wonderful things, and such as I had never before seen; and if I wished, he would himself come. But I am by no means inclined to be responsible for him; and if he come, I will never allow him, supposing my influence worth anything, to depart alive.” [1]
As much as I dislike Calvin, Servetus was either an idiot or had a death wish, because instead of fleeing to safety he showed up at church one night in Geneva to hear Calvin preach (he’s certainly guilty of antagonizing Calvin). Calvin of course, didn’t miss the opportunity and had his friend Nicholas de la Fontaine arrest Servetus on 40 capital charges of heresy. During the trial, Calvin wrote that he hoped the verdict would come back as death[2], and it did. Servetus was ultimately burned at the stake– atop a pyre of his own books and green wood to draw out his death– which reportedly took 30 minutes.
And thus, John Calvin was responsible for having his enemy killed.
Now, both sides tend to overplay their hand on the death of Servetus. Those who stand against Calvin will often call it murder, and those strongly in the Calvin camp will try to explain it away as just the “culture of the time.” (Aren’t we supposed to stand against evil in culture?) Certainly this was not murder in the sense that Calvin walked up and personally killed Servetus– but he did collaborate with the local government to have him killed on two occasions. Also, it is true that Calvin tried to get Servetus to repent of his theology and when that didn’t work, he sought to have him beheaded instead of burned alive. However, I find the Calvinist tendency to play the “he tried to have him beheaded as an act of mercy” card a bit disingenuous, as if beheading an enemy is somehow morally superior to burning one.
In addition, Calvin wasn’t simply an innocent bystander in a violent culture– he was actually one of the folks promoting it. Calvin once wrote that those who objected to killing heretics were just as guilty as the heretics themselves:
“Whoever shall maintain that wrong is done to heretics and blasphemers in punishing them makes himself an accomplice in their crime and guilty as they are…” [3]
So, not only does he argue killing theological enemies to be good, but Calvin argued that one was not even morally free to oppose it. Furthermore, Calvin argued that the blood of no one– not even a person’s own family should be spared:
“… we spare not kin, nor blood of any, and forget all humanity when the matter is to combat for His glory.” [4]
Got that? We must not spare our own families of bloodshed– in fact, we must “forget all humanity” when doing combat for God’s glory.
(And don’t even get me going on the fact that Calvin was somewhat famous for his abusive speech toward others— aka, the sin of reviling as condemned by Paul.)
Calvinism is, by definition, the teachings of John Calvin– a man whose actions show me either (a) he didn’t understand Jesus or (b) he didn’t want to obey Jesus. Why in the world would I want to build the totality of my Christian theology on a foundation erected by such a person? If Calvin didn’t understand something so basic as torturing and killing people is something a Jesus follower probably shouldn’t do, I have zero confidence that he ever understood the more complex theological issues.
And this is my primary deal breaker: before any discussion on sovereignty, evil, or predestination, I am unable to move past the fact that Calvinism is a theological system designed by someone who had no moral or theological objections to brutally killing those who disagreed with him.

According to Jesus, warmongers are not true Christians, because only the peacemakers can be called ‘children of God.’ And this is why many ‘Christians’ today refuse to look at who really did 9/11.
Supporting Talmudic Israel’s evil deeds and what they do through US is also a direct violation of Jesus’ second greatest commandment: “love your neighbor as yourself.” Supporting evil is reverse-Christian to the max!

It is the one year anniversary since I went through a door. I was very well aware that once through this door, there was no going back. My life changed on June 17th, 2016, with the release of the “Sorry Mom, I was wrong about the Holocaust” video….
Though I had a sense of a serious transition in my life, I really had no idea what would follow. The intensity of reaction, both positive and negative, took my breath away. The video was translated with subtitles into 3 languages within the first 4 days. Spanish, swedish and french. A transcript was made. The view count shot up. Within a month there were 60,000 views, and currently it has over 133,000 views on one channel alone only in English.
Apparently the video struck a chord. Who would have guessed it would resonate with so many people? Many have had similar experiences as I did – reproaching or resenting their parents for being part of a generation of monsters, only to find out that everything had been turned on its head. For those who reached similar conclusions as I had reached after much research, there was deep gratitude, relief and appreciation for the simple message in my video.
For those still stuck in the matrix of lies, the video came as a shock and surprise. For those whose identity and interests were threatened, I became a grave threat and was pronounced the enemy. I learned all about Ritual Defamation in a town which boasts tolerance, inclusiveness, and “embraces diversity”. …
I wonder how many of my former friends took even twenty minutes, or perhaps three hours of their lives to view one or two or all three of the recommended videos at the end of my 6 minute video, before throwing away our friendship. Why would they not want to look into why I was making controversial statements which went contrary to everything we have been told all our lives about “the holocaust”? Do they really believe that I had suddenly lost my mind? Or were they afraid of what they might learn?
Many have told me outright that they will not discuss this topic, they refuse to look at it, refuse to debate it, refuse to question anything about it which would run contrary to what we have been told all our lives. It seems clear to me that this refusal to even look is the result of the psychological warfare that has been conducted against us. Do the weaponized words frighten us into submission? Does it make sense to ostrasize and shun a dissenter while refusing to look into the subject?
Why would there need to be laws to defend their holocaust if it really happened? They could show the evidence instead. Only lies need to be protected by laws. If the event was so rock-solid like they always tell us it is, they would not fear investigation. To me, the existence of laws against questioning “the holocaust” is enough to tell me there is something wrong with the story. I can never understand the mentality of people who tell me “you see Monika, the laws prove that you are wrong!” instead of recognizing the absurdity of the need for a law to protect a story.
It strikes me that real genocides are suppressed while the fictitional one is stoked up with a fury which seems to grow stronger every year. Real genocides such as the Holodomor are hardly known while Jewish “holocaust studies” are becoming mandatory curriculum in many places around the world.
This short introductory video to the “Committee for Open Debate on the Holocaust” website is one of the so-called crimes which caused Professor Anthony Hall to be suspended from his tenured position at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta. Any thinking person should recognize that there is something deeply wrong when a history professor is persecuted for saying we should be able to examine our history.
The old saying “the truth will set you free” is really true. In spite of some hardships, I have a deep sense of peace and serenity. This stems from the clarity in my mind and heart and soul, that I have truth on my side. We are at the core of the peace movement when we seek to tell the truth. Lies and deceptions are what bring us wars and turmoil. Remember the Mossad motto: By way of Deception, thou shall do war.
There are “red-pilled” people everywhere. That I have learned for sure, as I have heard from many of them. They are in every little town, village and hamlet. The people are waking up in droves, every single day. This awakening is explosive. There is no doubt in my mind that truth and light will prevail.
The fact that there is such a ferocious attempt to stifle dissent proves that Jewish Power depends on mass deception. An awakening will destroy that power. Why else would they need to silence anyone who steps out of line? Why else would they feel so threatened by truth revealers, if their power did not depend on keeping the people deceived, deluded, distracted and demoralized? If their power did not depend on us being asleep, they would not be in such a panic when some of us wake up.
This is drier than part 1, but also important — explaining the Talmudic bankster system that is destroying us, while they get rich, having sold their souls.

Islam is not the main enemy of Christians, Talmudic Judaism is.
Islam teaches Jesus was a Prophet from God, to be respected and honored. Islam also teaches that Moses was a prophet.
Judaism through the Talmud, teaches that Jesus was a false prophet, liar, heretic, bastard, who is boiling in excrement in Hell.
Islam is not the main enemy of Christians, Talmudic Judaism is, because Judaism is being sold to Christians as an acceptable alternative to being a Christian, that Jews get to go to Heaven without accepting Jesus, but everyone else must burn in Hell.
Christians are being taught that we must support and fight for the nation of Israel against all Muslim nations, and they must occupy land in the Middle East, and they don’t need Jesus to gain salvation.
Jesus said the Antichrist would rule the whole world from Jerusalem.
The Zionists who control the leadership of Judaism and Christianity, through religions, governments, and corporations, and most media, are purposely dividing Christians and Muslims, and fueling the hate towards each other to create the cause and affect of the final battle called Armageddon, and they are stoking the flames of the final war with bombings, invasions, occupations, torturing, oppressing, stealing from, and killing the people of mostly Muslim or Arab nations, and reactionary, random acts of self defense called terrorism.
Christians must love all people, including Muslims, and agree not to take part in, or support any acts of aggression or oppression in nations. And when the world sees us Christians standing on the principles of peace and non aggression and non intervention, they way Jesus taught us to do, then Christians will be able to win some of them to Jesus with our faith and actions in Jesus’ name.

I wrote these two comments on YouTube, giving my explanation for why some people seem to have a higher propensity for evil than others. I also challenge the idea of reincarnation:
Regarding people groups that are known for their evil: I also believe that many people have a HIGHER PROPENSITY FOR EVIL because of their GENETICS. I believe the source of this is shown in the Bible where demons had sex with humans before and after the Genesis flood, producing the NEPHILIM. The flood took care of the first batch, whereas Noah was “perfect in his generations,” so could maintain the pure line. But when it happened again, after the flood, Joshua was told by God to destroy them all and did not (which many think was such a cruel order, but these people were wicked Nephilim).
So because Joshua disobeyed God, the Nephilim bred with some of the Jews and others, producing watered down Nephilim: people with part demon genetics, but less than 50%.
Many people today seem to have these genes. Some are actually physically ugly. Some are not, or had plastic surgeries. Alan Dershowitz could be an example both in how he looks and in how he acts. ‘People’ without conscience make great defense attorneys.
I find it easier to have compassion for them when I consider that they it may be so much easier for them to sin. They’re so different from those who don’t have corrupted genetics.
This explains why Netanyahu can act so nice outwardly while he schemes to destroy US on the inside. There is even video of him saying on tape that “Americans are easy to push around.”
The KHAZARS are probably mostly genetically compromised Nephilim, part demon.
Psychopaths and sociopaths are known to have less fear of consequences and a lack of conscience, and then often crowbar and weasel their way to the top, in-charge-of-us jobs, lying all the way.
Maybe Jesus’ statement about the ‘Jews’ “who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan” were Nephilim even in the first century, before the Khazars became ‘Jews.’ Maybe Jesus is talking about a genetic problem here while speaking through John the apostle to a church in Revelation:

I’ve also seen evidence that those who push to the top of ‘Christianity’ as leaders are often Nephilim to an extent. They demonstrate a lack of sensitivity and compassion for people and very little fear of God. They craftily and deceptively with great wit teach false doctrines and push the reverse-Christian wars. They are our pastors and leaders leading many astray.
Many of the pastors have been mind-controlled in boot camp also, by the way. They have hardened hearts, were taught to obey commands to kill without hesitation — which is probably demonic. They have demons in their hearts, and are actually Biblically disqualified to lead according to Paul’s elders’ qualifications.

Regarding REINCARNATION, the NDE, near death experience testimonies need to be recorded right after returning from the dead, or they’ll often forget what actually happened — because humans have survival mechanisms that erase the most horrible memories like what it was like in hell.
Dr. Maurice Rawlings, a heart specialist, was not a Christian until he resuscitated some patients who then told them they were in hell.
He was also General Patton’s doctor, so I wonder if he knows anything about what really happened to Patton after WWII, and if Patton ever told him the truth about WWII.
He wrote this interesting book, telling what he learned from NDE testimonies he heard firsthand after resuscitating patients who went to hell.
Also, the Bible is very clear on what happens to us after we die: “Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment.” – Hebrews 9:27

Some things I believe:
I believe there is a conspiracy of powerful elitists to surrender America’s independence and national sovereignty to a globalist New World Order. I believe the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, and Bilderbergs are especially culpable in this evil subterfuge of our liberties. I had hoped that Donald Trump would honor his word to “drain the swamp” of establishment insiders, but he hasn’t. As with every President of both major parties before him, Trump has littered his administration with CFR globalists. In just the first couple of months of his presidency, Donald Trump appointed more CFR members and fellow travelers than Barack Obama.
I believe that the national news media purposely keeps the American people in the dark about the truth of what is really going on. I believe the media deliberately covered up the events of 9/11, Waco, Ruby Ridge, TWA Flight 800, the Oklahoma City bombing, the Sandy Hook school shootings, etc., ad infinitum. Heck, I believe the media covered up what really happened in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963, when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. For all intents and purposes, the national news media is little more than a propaganda ministry of the federal government.
I am also convinced that there is a blatant attempt underfoot to turn the United States into a police-state-style surveillance society, to which personal freedoms and liberties are being quickly and egregiously sacrificed. Passage of the USA Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, and the Indefinite Detention clauses of the National Defense Authorization Acts (NDAA) are examples of this flagrant betrayal of freedom. And the Democrat and Republican parties are equally culpable in this blatant usurpation of our liberties. And on this subject, too, Donald Trump is on the exact same course as his predecessors.
I opposed the preemptive invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan by G.W. Bush, the bombings of Libya, along with the current bombings and drone attacks going on in countries throughout the Middle East–including Trump’s bombing of Syria and his decision to increase the number of U.S. ground forces in the Middle East. It should be obvious to everyone that the Obama administration did nothing to change the perpetual war/preemptive war doctrine introduced by George W. Bush. And it should be equally obvious that Donald Trump is continuing to escalate America’s unconstitutional wars of aggression around the world. At the rate Trump is going, the United States could soon be in a global nuclear war.
I am personally convinced that ISIS, al-Nusra, etc., are contrivances of Dark (illegal) Operations of America’s CIA, British Intelligence, and Israel’s Mossad. Saudi Arabia and Turkey are also partners in this nefarious activity. I’ll say it flat out: The “war on terror” is totally the creation of the Deep State in the West to keep America in a state of perpetual war and to keep the people of America in a state of perpetual fear and anger.
Furthermore, I believe the international “war on terror” is a ruse to assist the goals of the central banks to create global government. All of the talk about Iran and Syria (and even North Korea) being a threat to the world is a bunch of hysterical propaganda. And FOX News (along with many pastors and churches) is at the heart of the pro-war propaganda machine. Neocons and globalists are using the Muslim people as the proverbial Straw Man to give the American people an enemy to hate, so that they will accept perpetual war abroad and police-state measures here at home.
I opposed the bailouts for Wall Street. I regard the Federal Reserve as a corrupt cabal of international banksters whose actions are nothing short of criminal. I wholeheartedly support the abolition of the Federal Reserve and a return to sound money.
I believe both major parties in Washington, D.C., are drunk on government spending. No matter which Party controls Congress or the White House, government spending skyrockets, as do deficits. We are witnessing this reality yet again. Just this week, with the GOP in control of both houses of Congress and the White House, we watched the House approve–and President Trump endorse–yet MORE federal spending and LARGER federal deficits. G.W. Bush spent more tax dollars than Bill Clinton; Barack Obama spent more than Bush; and Donald Trump is already spending more than Obama. When it comes to federal spending, there truly isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the two parties. No wonder Senator Rand Paul said this about the omnibus spending bill that passed the House this week: “President Hillary Clinton would have been proud of this bill.”
And speaking of federal spending, one reason Donald Trump wants to increase military spending is because the U.S. government is dropping so many bombs all over the globe that the military is running out. Consider: as of April 30, the U.S. has dropped over 79,000 bombs just in Iraq, Syria, and Libya.
I believe G.W. Bush and Dick Cheney should be in prison for committing international war crimes against humanity and Hillary Clinton should be in prison for selling access to her office to foreign interests and for facilitating (or maybe even directly causing) the death of America’s Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens. I believe politicians such as Lindsey Graham, John McCain, Chuck Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi are enemies of freedom.
