The greatest peace activist of all time, General Smedley Butler, produced the timeless little 1935 book War is a Racket. FOREWORD: I do not expect this two-part article to be very popular among American patriots, many of whom are my dear friends. They are among the core of America’s best citizens; men and women who fight to protect constitutional liberties from the police state, and to preserve U.S. national sovereignty from the tyranny of world government.
The following article raises questions about the American Revolution, which many patriots regard as the foundation of their beliefs. It can be dangerous to shake a good man’s foundation – even if the foundation is flawed – because it might cause him to question his worldview, and weaken his resolve. However, no historical event should be held so sacred as to be immune to examination. Our country is in too much trouble to make truth secondary.
Many patriots say the solution to our problems is to return to the “principles of the Founding Fathers.” I strongly agree with this view in part; I certainly believe in limited government and the Bill of Rights, and that these fundamental doctrines have been eroded to the point of national peril. However, I also believe that much of the trouble actually traces to America’s founding. Despite ubiquitous descriptions of the Founding Fathers as Christians, revolutions are – with rare exceptions – contrary to Biblical doctrine. In Part II, we will explore this issue, and the revolution itself in depth. Right now, we focus on the flashpoint that ignited the war between Britain and her American colonies.

THE DEATH OF RUSH LIMBAUGH
Accolades are pouring in from conservative circles over the death of Rush Limbaugh from cancer. Adjectives like “great,” “Titan among men” and “hero” are being bandied about. Phyllis Schlaffly’s organization said that,
Multiple generations of conservatives were trained by Rush’s voice on the radio. He spoke his mind. He never shied from the truth.
Frankly that last statement isn’t true. Like Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity, Rush never talked about the conspiratorial aspects of history. He used to long ago, when he was building his syndication network from the ground up. In fact, he talked openly about it, and showed he had studied “None Dare Call it Conspiracy” and other books. But when his radio talk show was picked up by one of the big 3 companies with a multi-million dollar contract, he suddenly became a conspiracy denier.
I was listening to his show on the day after he announced his new network affiliation and one of his regular listeners brought up a conspiracy issue, as usual, only this time Rush pounced on him like a tiger, lambasting him for conspiracy theories. “But Rush,” the perplexed listener protested, “Yesterday we were talking about this same issue on the air.” Limbaugh denied it and changed the subject.
Dr. Lee Merritt:
14:50 “Our nation wasn’t taken down by a virus. It was taken down by fear. If you have treatment, the fear goes away.”
29:50 “The information is out there. It’s not that there are no studies. That’s number one. There are lots of studies. Number two, science is not a vote. … It’s about the truth and what works, and the people that are not working for government show it [the treatments] works. So I think we have a moral problem right now in medicine.”
