Writing for Breitbart.com, John Nolte showed more perspicacity than almost anyone I’ve seen relative to the unexpected death of comedian Joan Rivers. Nolte wrote:

“With the death of Joan Rivers at 81 Thursday, we lost one more icon in a dwindling breed: the comedian who does not seek the good opinion of the powerful media and entertainment elite.

“Just two months before her death, Rivers mocked President Obama as ‘gay’ and First Lady Michelle Obama as a ‘tranny,’ and caught hell for it from the likes of the Huffington Post. Those servants to power chided: ‘Rivers took her “jokes” too far yet again this week, when she hurled a trans slur at the first lady.’”

Nolte continued: “Now Rivers is gone and outside of a handful of comedic insurgents like Don Rickles, Dennis Miller, and Adam Carolla, we’re stuck with Politically Correct Palace Guards like Jon Stewart, Sarah Silverman, Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, Lena Dunham, Ricky Gervais, the cast of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and pretty much everyone associated with Funny or Die–all big government-loving cowards desperate to fit into a comedic class that believes political correctness is a virtue and those who buck it should be held up to ridicule.”

Nolte again: “Joan Rivers attacked everyone–from Michelle Obama to Sarah Palin. Whether you enjoyed her style or not, it was nice knowing that someone–someone!– was out there with the courage to invite the kind of outrage that causes a Huffington Post to accuse you of going too far.”

Nolte concluded his column saying, “Now Rivers is gone, and any up-and-comer who wanted to take her place, who dared call Michelle Obama a ‘tranny’ during open-mic night at the legendary Comedy Store, would be booed off the stage and blacklisted until she publicly recanted.

“No one will ever call Michelle Obama a ‘tranny’ again, and that is not a good thing, nor is it progress.”

RIP Joan Rivers: No One Will Ever Call Michelle Obama A ‘Tranny’ Again

I wholeheartedly agree with Nolte on this one. I have said much the same thing many times. America’s political correctness knows neither left nor right. Republicans and Democrats, conservatives and liberals, Christians and secularists equally share the political correctness disease. But the media and entertainment industries are not only infected with the disease; they are carriers. And, with very few exceptions, they will even turn against their own in a heartbeat should someone touch the politically-incorrect “third rail.” If you don’t believe that, just talk to Mel Gibson or Alec Baldwin.

That most of Joan’s peers did NOT crucify her for her statement that Michelle Obama is a transvestite makes me tend to believe that they all know Joan told the truth and just didn’t have the courage to say it. Plus, she was JOAN RIVERS: the quintessential icon of the entertainment left.

My question is, what if Joan Rivers actually told the TRUTH about the Obamas? What if it’s true that Barack and Michelle (Or is the name Michael?) really are homosexuals, that Michelle really is a man, and that they have pulled off the greatest political hoax in the history of the United States? The timing of Rivers’ death is an incredible coincidence, if it’s not true. That is for sure.

Rivers went in for what would be regarded as simple out-patient surgery. How many millions of Americans have gone through this, and similar surgeries, without a hitch? Granted, she was 81. But she was a healthy 81. Granted, fluke deaths do sometimes happen during “simple” surgeries. But what a coincidence! The most iconic female comedian in the entire country accuses Michelle Obama of being a transvestite, and less than two months later, she is dead.

I realize that my good Christian brethren don’t like to think about this, much less discuss it, but there is absolutely no doubt that our federal government assassinates untold numbers of people all of the time. And I’m not talking about ISIS terrorists. I’m talking about American citizens. Can I prove it? Of course not. No one can–at least, not without risking becoming the next victim.

Think about it: if people inside our government could successfully carry out the assassination of President John F. Kennedy (and I’m sure they did), how difficult would it be to kill an entertainer, a political activist, or even a congressman? And what if the “dark” side of our government did have a hand in the events that occurred on this day back in 2001? Who inside the political and media establishments would dare to say anything about it–much less investigate it? Yes, this is another one of those politically incorrect “third rail” issues that no one wants to discuss. No one wants to believe that their own government–OUR own government–could be capable of the most despicably evil acts known to man.

But I am personally convinced that our CIA uses, not only their own agents, but highly secretive “dark” ops military personnel–even foreign assassins such as those who might be found in Israel’s Mossad and Great Britain’s SIS–to murder innumerable people whom they would consider “nuisances.” Yes, I said “dark” ops as opposed to “black” ops. “Dark” ops are highly-trained military troops or government agents who are either totally void of morals and scruples–or who are completely drugged out of their morals and scruples–and who are used by the “dark” side of government for the worst kind of murderous conduct.

For example, only the most gullible truly believe that Lee Harvey Oswald, and then the man who killed Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby (and how many others surrounding the Kennedy assassination), died in a sequence of spectacular “coincidences.” And I will always suspect that Congressman Sonny Bono’s skiing accident was no accident.

Does anyone not suspect that Marilyn Monroe was the victim of foul play? And if she was, the only people who had a motive to kill her were politicians in the highest places. And is there anyone who really doubts that Princess Diana was murdered by the “dark” side of the British Crown? I don’t.

Furthermore, I am thoroughly convinced that Gordon Kahl was the target of government assassins. And I suspect that the recent death of Edgar Steele may have been orchestrated and engineered.

Then there is Mary Jo Kopechne and Vince Foster. Anyone who believes the “official” reports on the deaths of these two people is intellectually challenged, to say the least.

The list of people who may have been killed by government assassins-or even by politicians themselves–is a very, very long one.

Then there are the deaths of people whose murders were so cleverly concealed they would not even make the “suspicious deaths” list. Truthfully, only God knows just how many American citizens have been assassinated by their own government.

But even worse than the probable killings of untold Americans by our own government is the fact that the vast majority of the American people (including Christian people) have no interest in knowing the truth. The vast majority of us are willfully ignorant. What was that that Edmund Burke said?

So many Americans (including Christians) have the Caesarean philosophy “might makes right.” As long as America is the world’s mightiest empire (we haven’t been a constitutional republic for a long time), we can do no wrong. The end justifies the means. Yeah, I know: Pastors preach against that philosophy in every other area of life–just not in politics. Most of them seem to believe that when it comes to government killings, there is no such thing as unjustifiable homicide. Plus, pastors and Christians haven’t given a second thought to “Just War” since World War II.

The only part of Wisconsin Senator Carl Schurz’s historic statement most Americans–including most pastors and Christians–seem to remember is, “My country, right or wrong.” They seem to have totally forgotten the rest of the statement: “If right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right.”

There is no doubt in my mind that our government is getting away with murder–well, at least until the monsters meet God, that is. Was Joan Rivers the latest victim? We will never know. If you think the so-called investigation into her death will get to the truth, there is this bridge for sale you should know about.

Yes, Mr. Nolte, you are probably right: no one may ever call Michelle Obama a “tranny” again. But I wonder if there is more to it than the fear of being politically incorrect. I wonder if it’s the fear of being politically assassinated. If so, we have lost more than an iconic comedian; we have lost our country.

I prayed, then went to bed. I was still awake, when suddenly I heard a trumpet sound. A voice cried out to me, “Stand!”

In my vision, I was in America. I walked out of my home, and began to look for the one who had spoken to me. As I looked, I saw three men dressed alike. Two of the men carried weapons. One of the armed men came to me. “I woke you to show you what is to come.” He said. “Come with me.”

I didn’t know where I was being taken, but when we reached a certain place he said, “stop here!”

A pair of binoculars was handed to me, and I was told to look through them.

“Stand there, don’t move, and look,” he continued. “You will see what they are saying, and what they are preparing for America.”

As I was looking, I saw a great light. A dark cloud appeared over it. I saw the president of Russia[;] a short, chubby man, who said he was the president of China[;] and two others. The last two also said where they were from, but I did not understand. However, I gathered they were part of Russian controlled territory. The men stepped out of the cloud.

The Russian president began to speak to the Chinese one. “I will give you the land with all the people, but you must free Taiwan of the Americans. Do not fear, we will attack them from behind.”

A voice said to me, “Watch where the Russians penetrate America.”

I saw these words being written: Alaska; Minnesota; Florida.

Then, the man spoke again, “When America goes to war with China, the Russians will strike without warning.”

The other two presidents spoke, “We, too, will fight for you.” Each had a place already planned as a point of attack.

All of them shook hands and hugged. Then they all signed a contract. One of them said, “We’re sure that Korea and Cuba will be on our side, too. Without a doubt, together, we can destroy America.”

The president of Russia began to speak insistently, “Why let ourselves be led by the Americans? Why not rule the world ourselves? They have to be kicked out of Europe, too! Then I could do as I please with Europe!”

Neil Young changes tune on war — my thoughts

Effects of the WELSH REVIVAL 1904-05: Whole communities were radically changed FROM DEPRAVITY TO GLORIOUS GOODNESS. The CRIME RATE dropped, often to nothing. THE POLICE had little more to do than supervise the coming and going of the people to the chapel prayer meetings. The UNDERGROUND MINES echoed with the sounds of PRAYER and HYMNS, instead of nasty jokes and gossip. People who had fallen out became FRIENDS AGAIN!!!!!!!

In People, Personal, Revival, The Soul of America, War

Many musicians and famous personalities stood against the Bush/Cheney wars, and then totally stood down once Obama took the helm. Michael Franti is my biggest disappointment in this regard. His “Yell Fire” CD is one of my favorites, and is powerfully antiwar. And he motived people in his many concerts.
But what Neil says, here, is disheartening too. I admire, greatly, the whole CSN&Y team for stepping out as boldly as they did — again — about 30 years since they protested Vietnam. It’s engrained in them to speak up — so I thought — before reading this about Neil.
And just today, we hear the news: Neil Young Files for Divorce From Pegi Young, Wife of 36 Years. Ughhh!
I’ve heard Neil questioning God in his songs, kind of like Roger Waters. I wonder what Neil is thinking. Certainly, he’s seen the evangelicals pushing the wars longer and as loud as the country western people. That must be confusing, and it should infuriate people who do have a heart, and have eyes to see — when we realize that none of these wars were self-defense and justified.
Now, at least in this 2012 interview, Neil is saying that maybe wars aren’t right or wrong, or maybe they can be both right and wrong. It just depends upon one’s point of view — whose side you are on?
In this one sense, Neil does seem to be thinking there is no God. So then there wouldn’t be absolute truth, right or wrong.
“So you really can’t have an opinion,” he says.
“How can you know all of the reasons?” This reminds me of this song, which I haven’t heard for so long that I forgot who wrote and sung it:

Well, Neil, I hope you listen to Alex Jones and some other infowarriors who point out other aspects behind what’s really going on, so you can find out the real reason and forces behind these wars.
It really is God verses Satan, and demons and angels whom we don’t see, but who do their dirty and totally clean work every day in men’s hearts. And when we don’t understand how actively Satan works it maybe does seem futile — if God were actually sanctioning everything that took place on planet Earth.
Free will + evil, unseen forces that drive men to stumble = chaos, and then despair.
A really good album that makes sense of this is Bob Dylan’s “Slow Train Coming.” How Bob could have it that together and then go back into Judaism baffles me. He said he sold his soul. I hope he reclaims it before it’s too late.
I usually don’t do this at ToBeFree.
Let’s overcome. There is a way out of this mess — if we abide in Him — and obey with our whole heart, the One Above Who is all Goodness.

Neil Young changes tune on war, slightly

During the Bush administration, rocker Neil Young didn’t mince his words: He wasn’t a fan of the president, especially in the realm of foreign policy.
His 2006 album, Living With War, was a harsh rebuke of George W. Bush, especially the not-so-subtle track, “Let’s Impeach the President.”

Young still doesn’t like war, but in an interview with NPR’s Terry Gross, the host of “Fresh Air,” he seems to have modified his opinion on the issue.

Gross asks about the song “Love and War” on his 2010 album, Le Noise, which includes the following lyric:
When I sing about love and war /
I don’t really know what I’m saying.
“And I think that sums it up,” Young said. “Because they’re very deep subjects. You can’t possibly know what it means to somebody else. War to one person may mean a justified thing that’s happening for a very good reason, and another person may think that’s a terrible thing and never should have happened. And another person will be thinking that he lost his sister or his brother or his mother in the war and it was a waste of time. And another person could be thinking the exact opposite: that his brother went to war and gave his life for our country. So you can’t really have an opinion, although I have opinions and I’ve had them and I’ve made very loud statements about things. But that’s the way I felt at the time.
“When I did the Living With War album, I was very outspoken about the anger I felt about certain things that were happening at that time in history. But again, I was no more right than the people who believed in it because it was such a big thing — how can you know? How can you know all of the reasons and everything that’s happening? I just don’t enjoy war. I’m not like a fan of war. And love can be very damaging, and it can be very good. So you just don’t know where to go with these things. So I wrote about that — the quandary of not knowing what to do with any of those things. It’s kind of a useless point of view.”

Look at the real history, and the rest of the story, the way Jesus still sees. He stood up to them then. Nothing in them has changed significantly for us to view them any differently than did Jesus. We must do our Father’s will, and not bow down to Satan.

In March of this year, a man wielding two meat cleavers entered a day care center in Madison, Wisconsin and slashed one of the teachers in the head, arms, and shoulders. When two veteran police officers arrived, they saw no other choice but to shoot and kill the perpetrator, Gregory E. Velasquez. The actions themselves, although deeply disturbing, are unfortunately not entirely shocking in this day and age; however, the coroner’s ruling the death “suicide by police” may be for some.

Suicide by police is an alarming new trend that has police departments across the country worried, and for good reason. It seems to be occurring with more frequency—the three examples discussed below happened within the last several months.

This method of suicide occurs when someone intentionally acts in a menacing way toward law enforcement officials in order to provoke the use of deadly force. The person is often depressed and/or despondent and wishes to die, but for some reason does not want to commit suicide directly. Often times, the person doesn’t even brandish a viable weapon, often wielding an unloaded weapon or even a toy pistol or starter gun.

“Regardless of what happens, if I end up in chains in Guantanamo, I can live with that,” the 31-year-old former NSA contractor said.

Analysts working for the National Security Agency routinely pass around private, intimate photos found in the stream of communications data intercepted, according to Edward Snowden.

In a new, extensive video interview, the fugitive leaker said the fraternizing practice is seen as a “fringe benefit” of working for the intelligence agency.

“You got young enlisted guys, 18-to-22 years old—they’ve suddenly been thrust into a situation with extraordinary responsibility where they now have access to all of your private records,” Snowden told The Guardian. “Now, in the course of their daily work, they stumble across something that is completely unrelated to their work in any sort of necessary sense, for example, an intimate nude photo of someone in a sexually compromising situation, but they’re extremely attractive.”

Snowden, speaking on camera from Russia, where he is living under temporary asylum, continued:
